Ampelmann is the leader in the offshore access industry.

With our innovative product line and services, we have been delivering safety and efficiency to the offshore industries for more than 10 years now.

But what people don't always know is that behind all the steel and hydraulics, there is also a world of IT and software development.

Over the years, we have been using the latest and most innovative IT technologies to deliver the product and service quality that our clients expect from us.

Each Ampelmann system is equipped with high-end sensors used to measure vessel motions in real time.

Advanced software processes and transforms that signal into hydraulic movements.

Yet, all that sensor data contains a lot of valuable information that can be used for...

the real-time monitoring of alarms, predictive maintenance and product development.

One of our challenges has been combining and connecting our offshore operations to the cloud,

especially since internet connections can often let us down on the open sea.

Our IT department has been fully cloud-based for years now.

But until recently, we were still looking for the right platform to implement Internet of Things technologies.

Therefore we chose the IoT proposition from Microsoft Azure to expand our existing infrastructure.

We developed software to collect data offshore on the BoxPC and send it securely over the internet to Ampelmann's data warehouse in the cloud.

This functionality has been rolled out to collect all data across the entire fleet, and new functionalities are being added continuously.

Once the data is available in the cloud, our IT department can pick up the data, combine them with all other sources...

and our business intelligence developers can build dashboards for our business owners.

Our Data Services department is then able to prepare the big data to be further analysed and create additional models...

for fleet improvement and workability studies, amongst others.

We see that the offshore industry is developing rapidly and the importance of IT and data is growing, just like in all other industries.

Sensor-, data- and cloud technologies will help the industry to improve logistics, operations and safety of our people.

Ampelmann has shown time and again that technology and innovation are in our DNA...

and that the only way forward is to also be the digital leader in the offshore access industry.

Why is Chelsea vs Man Utd in FA Cup kicking off at 7.30pm? The reason explained - Duration: 2:56.

The Blues host United at Stamford Bridge, with the match being broadcast live on BBC One

The winner will progress into the quarter-finals, as the pair compete in a rematch of last season's Wembley final

Chelsea won that one 1-0 thanks to a penalty slotted home by Eden Hazard. And while the FA Cup final has strayed away from the traditional 3pm kick-off, it's unclear why tonight's match is at 7

30pm. The regular midweek kick-off is 7.45pm, while Premier League matches on Monday night tend to get going at 8pm

One likely reason is that the quarter-final draw is scheduled to take place after the match

With the BBC news set to start at 10pm, the earlier start allows for plenty of time for the draw to be completed

It could also be that an FA Cup rule change is behind the earlier start, with there being no replays in the fifth round

That was introduced this season as the FA look to ease fixture congestion for those battling in Europe

Should extra time and penalties be needed, the action should still be finished at around 10pm

That would mean the BBC avoid a repeat of the mix-up they had on January 16 this year

Southampton's clash with Derby went into extra time that night with Prime Minister Theresa May making a key Brexit speech at 10pm

The football remained on BBC One while May's speech was instead shown on BBC Two

After that decision, the broadcaster said: "When the match went to extra time and penalties, we provided a live news special on BBC Two, and pointed viewers to this with on air and in vision signage

"We also made clear that the news would begin straight after the match's conclusion

" Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking back as he prepares for the clash

He said: "In 99 we beat them down at Stamford Bridge to get to the final and then we beat Arsenal and Liverpool

"We did it the hard way then and we will have to do it the hard way this year, looking forward to it

Danny Higginbotham Wilfried Zaha is developing into a 'unique' player, the Crystal Palace ace can ad - Duration: 4:10.

IT'S NO shock to say that Wilfried Zaha is a brilliant player on the ball and using his raw speed

But this season it's clear the Crystal Palace talisman is beginning to crack the tactical side, and is proving he can now adapt to impact any game he is involved in

Palace's biggest problem this year has been their home form. Only Huddersfield have fewer points and fewer goals at home

They are much better on the road – nine teams have collected fewer points away from home, and 13 have scored less

That's because this Palace team is suited to playing on the counter, with Zaha and Andros Townsend playing on the shoulders of the defenders on either wing to stretch the back four

With the onus being on them at Selhurst Park to play and opposition teams setting up to stifle the space, they seem to struggle

But Zaha is now adapting to different situations, which was clearly seen in their FA Cup win over Spurs

Zaha would drop deep into spaces just in front of the back four, forcing the likes of Trippier and Davison Sanchez to press him to stop him turning on the ball

That left space in behind for Patrick van Aanholt and Jeffrey Schlupp to exploit

He can now mix things up, dropping deep and dragging players into space if he's being man-marked – which is often the case

Zaha is also clever at knowing when to follow the opposition full-back and when not to – giving the opposition a dilemma of attacking and leaving space in behind or staying back to keep an eye on him

Fans go into meltdown as Roy Hodgson produces outrageous first touch in Crystal Palace vs Spurs FA Cup clash  He is smarter than people give him credit for – and maturing a lot with every game he plays

He may be 26, but he seems to still be developing an intelligence and an awareness that make him unique

We could have seen this sooner had he progressed at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson – but he lost his way when David Moyes came in

It disrupted his learning.  Now he is mentally tough and playing every week. And Palace are now seeing the benefits in more areas of the pitch

Susanna Reid spotted with Steve Parish as Crystal Palace pull off shock win against Tottenham in the FA Cup

Facebook is a digital gangster that needs more regulation UK report - Duration: 2:49.

Facebook is a digital gangster that needs more regulation UK report

"intentionally and knowingly" violated U.K. data privacy and anti competition laws and urgently needs to be regulated and investigated, a scathing new report by British lawmakers said.

The final report issued Monday by the U.K.s Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee concluded an 18 month investigation into Facebook and other social media companies for their role in spreading "fake news" and disinformation. In the , lawmakers called for the creation of an independent regulator for social media sites and a mandatory code of conduct that, if breached, could result in "large fines."

"Companies like Facebook should not be allowed to behave like digital gangsters in the online world, considering themselves to be ahead of and beyond the law," the report said.

The committee accused Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg of showing "contempt" toward U.K. parliament for . Zuckerberg and EU lawmakers to discuss the companys data collection practices last year but sent to testify in Britain.

"Mark Zuckerberg continually fails to show the levels of leadership and personal responsibility that should be expected from someone who sits at the top of one of the worlds biggest companies," Damian Collins, chair of the committee, said on the committees website.

In a statement, Facebook said it made a "significant contribution" to the investigation, answering more than 700 questions with four senior executives providing evidence, adding it supports "effective privacy legislation."

"While we still have more to do, we are not the same company we were a year ago," Karim Palant, U.K. public policy manager at Facebook, said.

The U.K. committees report builds on preliminary findings calling for more oversight of social media companies and adds to growing demands for increased regulation and scrutiny of big tech firms. Much of the report published Monday focused on Facebooks data collection practices and the that exploited millions of users personal data.

Lawmakers also published new internal Facebook emails on Monday related to a California lawsuit between Facebook and app developer Six4Three. A batch of emails published by the committee in December showed Facebook to users personal data. said the documents omitted important context and only revealed "one side of the story."

British lawmakers on Monday said they found evidence Facebook was willing to "override its users privacy settings in order to transfer data to some app developers." Their report urged both the U.K. data protection commission and the anti competition authority to carry out detailed investigations into its practices.

"It is evident that Facebook intentionally and knowingly violated both data privacy and anti competition laws," lawmakers said.

The report welcomed the findings of an independent U.K. government report calling for antitrust investigations in search and social media companies like Facebook and Google for their dominance in online advertising.

The committee also backed a "Code of Ethics" that would be overseen by an independent regulator, similar to Ofcom which regulates broadcasting ethics in the U.K. The code would require social media companies to remove "harmful content" from their platform or face penalties including fines.

News24 - Alan Shearer suggests reason Alexis Sanchez is struggling at Man Utd - Duration: 2:31.

Alan Shearer believes Alexis Sanchez is struggling at Manchester United because he "hasn't been afforded the freedom he got at Arsenal "

The Chile star has largely underwhelmed since arriving at Old Trafford from the Gunners in January 2018, managing just five goals for the European heavyweights - three of which have come in the Premier League

This season he has fallen behind Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard in the pecking order, with interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - who replaced the sacked Jose Mourinho earlier this season - opting for youth

But Sanchez is expected to get an opportunity to prove his critics wrong when United travel to Stamford Bridge to face arch rivals Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night

Ahead of that crunch encounter, Premier League legend Shearer, writing in his column for The Sun , has suggested the 30-year-old's style-of-play is far better suited to Arsenal's philosophy

"He is basically the only United player who has not improved since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho," he said

"So it is about time he stepped up and started showing the form we saw at Arsenal

"Sanchez might be struggling at United because he has not been afforded the kind of freedom he got under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal

"He could basically do what he wanted — go left, right or down the middle and if he lost the ball, people would cover for him

"Since he arrived at Old Trafford last year, Sanchez has had to play in a more structured system — but that should not be an excuse

"With his undoubted ability, Sanchez's performances have to be a hell of a lot better than what we have seen so far

Who Is Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann's Nanny? | Heavy.com - Duration: 5:18.

Who Is Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann's Nanny? | Heavy.com

During tonight's season 7 premiere of Don't Be Tardy, Ariana gets help from the family's nanny as she learns how to drive.

The nanny featured in the episode is Berta, not Lana, Their nanny, Lana, who part of the family's life for quite some time and appeared pretty regularly on the reality series.

In one of the promo videos for tonight's episode, Ariana practices driving with her family's nanny in the passenger seat.

The nanny is identified as Berta; in the clip, Berta tells Ariana "no accidentes," before Ariana reminds her that Berta once drove on the wrong side of the road.

Berta has clearly been with the family for a long time, which Wet Paint confirms in a 2013 article that references Kim raising her children with the help of "her Spanish-speaking nanny, Berta." In that article, they quote Zolciak as saying "I have to have nannies in order to work, but they don't raise my children," suggesting that she has multiple nannies on her staff.

Kim and Kroy have six children, their two older daughters Brielle and Ariana and their four young children, Kaia, Kane, Kash, and Kroy Jr.

In addition to Berta, Lana and Paola have nannied the Biermann children; Paola left the family two years ago.

Lana, who has been noticeably absent on the show, was featured on Don't Be Tardy as the family's nanny since the early seasons.

In one of the promo clips for a season 3 episode, Kim gives Lana a pep talk about having confidence and attracting a man.

After Lana agrees that they should get her a man, Kim tells the camera in an interview "I don't know the last time that Lana was involved with a man.

Not in the last couple of years she's been with me." Later in the episode, when Kim and Lana are out together, Lana is seen getting sick in the restaurant bathroom from drinking too much.

       .

Last Mother's Day, Kim shared a post on Instagram thanking her staff, including her nanny, for the impact she's having on her children's lives and development.

In the caption, she wrote "Happy Mother's Day to all! It takes a village! I feel so much gratitude in my heart for my husband who always steps up when I can't, my children's nanny, my children's teachers, my chef, my hairdresser, my older daughters, my friends and all and everyone that have instilled, taught, been there and encourage my children.

I couldn't and wouldn't be here today if I didn't have you all.

I'm extremely proud of my children, what they stand for and who they are but I didn't get here alone.

I love you all and thank you for always going the extra mile for me and my children!".

According to the episode description, in the season 7 premiere, "The Biermann family has a lot on its plate; Ariana finds her first true love; Brielle wants to move out; Kroy searches for a new career; with prom coming up, Kim focuses on turning her daughter into a princess.

" The description for episode 2 (airing immediately after) reads "Kim wants her children to live under her roof forever; Brielle ramps up the search for a place of her own; Ariana recruits the family's nanny to aid in her quest for a driver's license; Rose, the family psychic, tells some unwelcome truths.

Tune in to Don't Be Tardy on Bravo, Sunday nights at 9/8c.
