[Traceable calibration]

Not every calibration is the same.

There are differences, which become apparent in the procedures and certificates issued.

WIKA offers factory calibration and calibration in accordance with ISO 17025.

The main difference is that the calibration in accordance with ISO 17025

completely guarantees the traceability of the test item to the national standard.

This means that the deviation from the standard has been documented for each individual level in the test chain.

Other possible sources of error

such as the hysteresis

or the repeatability

are measured and documented together with the deviation.

From this the expanded measurement uncertainty is calculated.

Through a larger number of test series and validated test procedures,

only calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 ensures traceability.

Thus it is more precise and, unlike the factory calibration, internationally recognised.

The certificate issued reflects this.

With a factory calibration, the certificate is limited to the deviation of the test item

from the reference.

In addition, with a calibration in accordance with ISO 17025,

many more key figures are determined and the expanded measurement uncertainty is developed graphically.

Thus the calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 is recognised worldwide by all operators.

In many cases, this type of calibration is even compulsory.

In order to ensure the high standards internationally,

our calibration laboratories are audited regularly.

When it comes to the question of whether a factory calibration is sufficient for your application,

or whether a calibration in accordance with ISO 17025 is appropriate,

we will be happy to advise you.

Samsung Galaxy Fold is real: costs $1,980, has 6 cameras and 3-way multitasking - Duration: 2:03.

Surprise! Despite all the S10 leaks, Samsung opened its Unpacked event with the Samsung Galaxy Fold

The device, which combines the portability of phones with the utility of tablets, is real and is coming to the market in two months

Samsung Galaxy Fold has a 4.6" screen outside and 7.3" screen inside  The Fold features a 4

6" external screen and a 7.3" foldable screen on the inside. There's a unique hinge with interlocked gears that make opening and closing the device smooth (and improve durability too)

The hinge can be a custom color, allowing for some personalization.  App Continuity means that whatever you were looking at on the small screen instantly expands to the large screen when you open the Fold

Samsung worked with Google and Android devs to perfect this feature. Three-way multitasking • The large screen makes for a tablet-like experience (but note the notch)  The large screen on the Galaxy Fold enables 3-way multitasking

WhatsApp, Microsoft Office and YouTube Premium will support this out of the box.  To handle the extra load, Samsung picked a "7nm chipset" - the Snapdragon 855 – with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage (fast UFS 3

0 storage to boot). All of this is powered by two batteries with a combined capacity of 4,380mAh

Galaxy Fold color and customization options  There are 6 cameras, but the folding form factor makes for an unusual arrangement

There are 3 cameras on the back, 1 on the front and 2 on the inside. Folded or unfolded, there's always a camera available to photography what you want – you or your subject

We finish with a classic "good news, bad news" situation. This isn't some prototype for a future product, it's very real – and it can be your starting from April 26 in the US and May 3 in Europe

It will even be available in LTE and 5G versions. However its price will start at $1,980 in the US and €2,000 in Europe

That's the cost of innovation, we guess.

Alexander Pechtold is enkele weken geleden opnieuw vader geworden.

Update Climate change doubter is leading effort to advise Trump - Duration: 4:06.

Update Climate change doubter is leading effort to advise Trump

WASHINGTON AP — The Trump administration is exploring the idea of forming a special committee to look at climate change and security risks, with the effort being coordinated by a 79 year old physicist who rejects mainstream climate science.

A discussion paper obtained by the Associated Press asks federal officials from an array of government agencies to weigh in on a proposed executive order that President Donald Trump would sign establishing the Presidential Committee on Climate Security.

A memo to those federal officials asks them to direct any questions to William Happer, a member of Trumps National Security Council and a well known denier of mainstream climate science findings.

"Happer would be a fringe figure even for climate skeptics," said retired U.S. Navy Rear Adm. David Titley, now a professor of meteorology at Pennsylvania State University.

Several climate scientists agreed with Titley, including Georgia Techs Kim Cobb, who said Happers "false, unscientific notions about climate change represent a danger to the American people."

Harvard science historian Naomi Oreskes, who wrote the book Merchants of Doubt on climate denial, pointed to instances when Happer has claimed that carbon dioxide, the main heat trapping gas from the burning of coal, oil and gas, is good for humans and that carbon emissions have been demonized like the poor Jews under Hitler.

Happers bio at Princeton University, where he previously taught, describes him as a pioneer in the field of optically polarized atoms. It notes that he served in the administration of President George H.W. Bush as the director of energy research at the Department of Energy, where he oversaw a basic research budget of roughly dollar 3 billion.

The National Security Council advises the president on security and foreign policy issues. According to the discussion paper, the council would fund and oversee the committee. Among the committees responsibilities would be to "address existing United States Government reports on climate for scientific accuracy and advise on the national security implications of climate change."

The committee would be composed of 12 members, according to a draft of the executive order. Members would include experts in national security and climate science. The panel would advise the president on how climate "might change in the future under natural and human influences."

A spokesman for the National Security Council declined to comment. the Washington Post first reported on the proposed executive order establishing the climate security committee.

Trump once tweeted that climate change was a Chinese hoax. More recently, he used a cold snap that hit much of the nation last month to again cast doubts. People cant last outside even for minutes. What the hell is going on with Global Waming sic ? Please come back fast, we need you! he tweeted.

Both the Pentagon and the presidents intelligence team have mentioned climate change as a national security threat, and a 2018 National Climate Assessment detailed drastic effects of global warming.

Over about a dozen years, government scientists, military leaders and intelligence experts have repeatedly highlighted climate change as a major national security risk, said Titley, who founded one such study team in the Navy.

Titley said these studies have come to the same conclusions under three presidents, including two Republicans. He said there are a surprising number of documents from the Pentagon and intelligence community after January 2017 [when Trump took office] that talk about climate and security risk.

"For the Pentagon, its about readiness," Titley said. "For the intelligence community, its about risks. We see the risks are accelerating."

Climate change can "push a marginally stable area into chaos," Titley said, mentioning Syria, which suffered a record drought at the same time as a civil war that triggered a migration of a million people.

Francesco "Frank" Femia, chief executive of a think tank that reviews systemic risk to national and international security, expressed concern that the proposed panel was meant to poke holes in future government reports and studies.

I would welcome a serious study commissioned by the White House on the security implications on climate change that include climate scientists and national security experts, but this is not that, said Femia, the CEO of the Council on Strategic Risks.

Shamima Begum is not a Bangladeshi citizen, says... Daily Mail Online - Duration: 5:23.

Shamima Begum is not a Bangladeshi citizen, says... Daily Mail Online

Islamic State bride Shamima Begum, who fled to Syria aged 15, is not a Bangladeshi citizen and will be barred from entering the country, its foreign ministry has said.

The 19 year old from London said she wanted to return to the UK with her newborn baby, with the end of the so called caliphate in Syria within sight.

But Home Secretary Sajid Javid revoked her British citizenship in a move only permissible under international law if it does not leave the individual stateless.

There had been speculation that Ms Begum, who is of Bangladeshi heritage, may have citizenship there but its minister of state for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam denied this on Wednesday.

A statement tweeted by the minister said: The Government of Bangladesh is deeply concerned that she has been erroneously identified as a holder of dual citizenship shared with Bangladesh alongside her birthplace, the United Kingdom.

Bangladesh asserts that Ms Shamima Begum is not a Bangladeshi citizen. She is a British citizen by birth and has never applied for dual nationality with Bangladesh.

It may also be mentioned that she never visited Bangladesh in the past despite her parental lineage.

So, there is no question of her being allowed to enter into Bangladesh.

Shamima Begum PA

The statement added that Dhaka had only been made aware of the situation by the media.

Asked whether she had been left stateless by Britain, the Begum familys lawyer Tasnime Akunjee said: Its certainly something we will be adding to the mix in terms of our appeal.

He has said Ms Begum was was born in the UK, has never had a Bangladeshi passport and is not a dual citizen.

She was one of three schoolgirls to leave Bethnal Green to join the terror cult in 2015 and resurfaced heavily pregnant at a Syrian refugee camp last week.

On Wednesday, she was shown a copy of the Home Office letter that announced her British citizenship would be stripped.

She told ITV News: I dont know what to say. I am not that shocked but I am a bit shocked.

Its a bit upsetting and frustrating. I feel like its a bit unjust on me and my son.

She went on to say she may try for citizenship in the Netherlands, where her husband is from.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid Dominic Lipinski/PA

Meanwhile, Mr Javid suggested the action to prevent Ms Begum returning will have no impact on her baby sons nationality.

While insisting he could not discuss individual cases, he told the Commons: Children should not suffer.

So, if a parent does lose their British citizenship, it does not affect the rights of their child.

He also delivered a staunch defence of the Governments ability to use the citizenship powers to prevent the return of dangerous individuals.

He told MPs that the step was never taken lightly, adding: But when someone turns their back on the fundamental values and supports terror, they dont have an automatic right to return to the UK.

We must put the safety and security of our country first and I will not hesitate to act to protect it.

Ms Begums comments sparked intense debate about the UKs responsibilities to those seeking to return from Syria.

Amira Abase, Kadiza Sultana and Shamima Begum before catching a flight to Turkey in 2015 to join the Islamic State group Metropolitan Police/PA

The case took a dramatic turn on Tuesday when it emerged Mr Javid had opted to strip Ms Begum of her British citizenship.

The British Nationality Act 1981 provides the Home Secretary with the power to take such action if it is conducive to the public good.

A protracted legal battle over the move is now looming with international law forbidding nations from making people stateless.

Lord Carlile, former independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said Ms Begum could challenge the decision, and described it as a complex issue that could take a while to resolve.

It could run for a very long time through the courts, he told BBC Breakfast.

I suspect that the result is going to be that she will stay where she is for maybe two years at least.

Figures for 2017 show that 104 people were deprived of their British citizenship, up from 14 in the previous year.

LeBron James Is Blown Away by Zion Williamson | Heavy.com - Duration: 6:48.

LeBron James Is Blown Away by Zion Williamson | Heavy.com

As the saying goes, game recognizes game and there is no player bigger than LeBron James.

Just a few weeks ago, James took time out of his busy schedule to see Zion Williamson and Duke play Virginia.

King James came away impressed and can see why there is so much buzz around the Duke big man.

"What strikes me? His agility and his quickness," James explained to ESPN.

"For his size, how strong he is, to be able to move like the way he moves, he's very impressive.

I mean, everybody can see the athleticism.

That's obviously, that's ridiculous.

But the speed and the quickness that he moves [with] at that size is very impressive.".

Some have compared Williamson to James but he has tried to slow people down on the comparisons.

"I mean, I appreciate the fact that people think that, but Michael Jordan's Michael Jordan, LeBron's LeBron, and they didn't become who they were because they were compared to other people," Williamson noted to GQ.

"I appreciate that people think that, give me the comparisons to LeBron, but I'm not LeBron.

I'm myself.

Before I got big I was playing point guard, so I'm kinda like a pass-first person.

Some people tell me I should be more selfish, but that's not me.".

Rumors Have Swirled Around Zion Williamson & Klutch Sports.

Skeptics wondered whether James was in attendance just to watch Duke play, or if the Lakers star was trying to help push Williamson to sign with Klutch Sports.

James' childhood friend Rich Paul runs the sports agency, but James denied there was a business reason for their trip.

James shot down the Klutch Sports connection in an interview with ESPN.

A recruiting trip? I didn't talk to anybody.

They're only saying that because it's Rich.

When Shaq came to see me play in high school, when A.I.

came to see me play in high school, they weren't saying it was a recruiting trip then.

But because it's Rich Paul and LeBron, now it's a recruitment trip.

Now Rich is a threat to everybody, and they look at it and they want to keep trying to jab my agent and jab my friend.

And what is he doing that's wrong? They don't say that about no other agent when other guys go see [players].

They don't say that about no other agent, but my guy because he's a threat.

And he's African-American, too.

Throw that in there.

James has an appreciation for what Williamson is going through.

Like James, Williamson has garnered a lot of attention since high school thanks to viral dunk videos.

"I can relate in a sense of he's been covered since he was in high school and everybody is trying to compare him to the next this or the next that," James explained to ESPN.

"But the best thing I've noticed is he seems like a good kid.

He seems like he's got his head on straight.

And when they asked him about, you know, guys in our league and people who cover our league talking about, 'If I was Zion Williamson, I would sit out for the rest of the year,' he was like, 'That's [silly].

Why? I'm here to play basketball.

I love to play basketball.

I'm here at Duke, I'm having fun.

These are my friends.

I'm having a great time.

Why would I sit out?'".

James did not go to college and went straight to the NBA.

Are the comparisons warranted? Here is a look at a younger James playing high school basketball.
