Waching daily Feb 21 2019

Hey, guys welcome to we civil engineers. In this video, I'm going to teach you how

to calculate the quantity of cement, sand, aggregates & water in M25 grade of concrete.

Let's assume the volume of concrete as 1 cubic meter,

Hence the volume of wet concrete equals to 1 cubic meter.

we all knew that to get the dry volume of concrete, we need to multiply wet volume with

the dry factor. Therefore, Dry volume of concrete equals to

wet volume multiplied by 1.54 Here, 1.54 is the dry factor, also known as

the multiplication factor of concrete. Therefore, Dry volume = 1 x 1.54 = 1.54.

Here 1 is wet volume of concrete

to calculation of cement quantity, you have to remember a simple formula.

I.e., Quantity of cement = (Dry volume of concrete x cement ratio)/(sum of the ratio).

Mix ratio of M25 grade of concrete is 1:1:2, which means cement, sand & aggregates are

in the ratio of 1:1:2. Now, We know the values of the dry volume of the

concrete & ratio of different material. So, substitute these values in the above formula

to get the quantity of cement. Therefore, Cement = (1.54 x 1)/(1+1+2)=0.385

m³. Since cement is measured in term of weight,

we have to convert this volume into weight. For that, just multiply the density of cement

with volume. Weight of Cement = 1440 x 0.385 = 554.4 Kg

To get the number of bags, divide the weight of cement with the weight of one bag.

If you divide 554.4 with 50 then you will get it as 11.088 No's.

which is approximately equals to 11 no's.

Since cement and sand are in the ratio of 1:1

The Quantity of sand is equaled to the quantity of cement.

∴ Quantity of Sand = 0.385 x 1 = 0.385 m³ Sand is also measured in cubic foot and tonnes.

So, let's convert cubic meter volume into cft and tonnes.

∵ 1m³=35.3147 Cubic Feet (CFT). Multiply cubic meter volume with 35.3147 to get the

volume in CFT. Therefore, Quantity of sand in CFT= 0.385

x 35.3147 = 13.596 CFT Now, multiply the density of sand with volume

to get the weight of sand in tonnes.  Here, Density of Sand = 1600 kg/m^3

Weight of sand= 0.385 (Volume of sand in terms of cubic meter)

x 1600 (I.e.,density of sand)=  616 kg (0.616 tonnes)

Since cement and coarse aggregates are in the ratio of 1:2

The Quantity of coarse aggregates is equaled to the quantity of cement x 2

∴ Quantity of Coarse Aggregates = 0.385 x 2 = 0.77 m³

Quantity of Coarse Aggregates in

CFT= 0.77 x 35.3147 = 27.217 CFT.

For converting meter cube value into cubic foot we are multiplying 0.77 with 35.3147

Now multiply the density of coarse aggregates with volume to get the weight of coarse aggregates in tonnes.

Here, Density of Coarse Aggregates is 1520 kg/m^3

∴ Weight of Coarse Aggregates= 0.77 x 1520 =  1170.4 kg or (1.170 tonnes)

Assume water-cement ratio as 0.50 To get the quantity of water, we have to multiply

cement quantity with 0.50.

Therefore, Quantity of water = 554.4kg (i.e., weight of cement) x 0.50 (i.e.,water-cement ratio)

= 277.2 kg or liters.

Insulin Resistance Symptoms | What To Watch Out For - Duration: 3:35.

Today we're going to talk about insulin resistance symptoms insulin resistance

means your body is not allowing insulin to escort glucose into your cells for

energy here are three signs you may be insulin resistant first you carry too

much fat in your belly it's like you have a buoy around your middle in

medicine we call it your insulin meter the more belly fat the more in some

resistant you are no matter how hard you try you can't seem to lose your belly

fat so why do you store so much fat around your middle because when there's

too much sugar and insulin floating around in your bloodstream from poor

diet lack of exercise or stress it's highly inflammatory your hypothalamus

perceives the inflammation as a threat and tells the most vital organs of your

body like your heart your lungs your kidneys your brain to resist letting

this extra sugar in your most vital organs cannot store energy for example

your heart which is about as big as your fist can either beat harder faster or

grow bigger with the extra sugar a big heart is not an efficient pump so rather

than wear itself out or grow dangerously your heart cells become resistant to

insulin which keeps the extra sugar out so where does it go to your white fat

cells right around your middle they're made to store the extra sugar and never

become resistant so that extra roll of fat around your middle is the clue that

you might be insulin resistant number two you don't wake up hungry people with

a healthy glucose metabolism wake up with a low blood sugar and insulin

levels your hypothalamus controls your circadian rhythm your day/night cycle

and knows when you're awake it immediately senses your low blood sugar

and stimulate your adrenal glands to release cortisol which releases stored

glycogen sugar but your hypothalamus knows the rising glucose will not last

so it stimulates your hunger hormone ghrelin so you will break your fast eat

breakfast you wake up hungry just like a little kid wanting cereal as soon as

they're out of bed that's a healthy response when your insulin resistant you

tend to have high levels of sugar floating around which placate your high

damas until hours after you arise most people with insulin resistance do not

feel hungry until about 10:00 a.m. sometimes not until a noon which is a

problem because when they do get hungry later they end up consuming the majority

of their calories after dark when they are at least metabolically active which

increases their fat storage now don't forget to check out my free hormone

reboot training where I will teach you the best exercise and diet to reverse

insulin resistance number 3 your skin is darkening under your armpits

on your neck and in your groin someone with insulin resistance will require

larger and larger amounts of insulin to be secreted before glucose is taken into

body cells which eventually changes the way the body deals with sugar one of

these ways is making extra pigment skin darkening melanin is produced by

melanocytes which are concentrated in your armpits your neck your groin the

skin not only darkens but it's thickened with a velvety texture this condition is

called an copass nigricans and is commonly found in in some resistance

diabetes obesity and PCOS polycystic ovary syndrome correcting the underlying

insulin resistance is the first step to treat this condition so check out my

video on treating insulin resistance

Maurizio Sarri being sacked would be 'damage limitation' for Chelsea - Duration: 9:35.

With Chelsea's humbling 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup last Monday, it appears that Maurizio Sarri is a dead man walking

Chelsea supporters generally give wholehearted support to their managers; sticking with them far longer than the trigger-happy board

Only Rafa Benitez has received the level of vitriol aimed at Sarri by the supporters at Stamford Bridge in recent times

Benitez was loathed from the moment he arrived of course, so the lack of support for a manager is relatively new territory

While there may have been a willingness to have patience with a manager trying to implement a new style of football; Maurizio Sarri has largely been the architect of his own downfall

His stubborn refusal to adapt his style in order to win winnable matches and a rigid adherence to his ideology appears to be the 'straw that broke the camel's back'

While the frustration at the rate at which Chelsea dispenses with managers remains; sometimes you have to recognise that it simply isn't going to work and take action to mitigate it

Not getting rid of Sarri just because you're fed up with Chelsea firing managers ignores the evidence laid out before you

Ultimately it will be Sarri's intransigence that will be his undoing. If he genuinely believes that attempting to play out the utopian vision of his football ideology is more important than the team winning, then I would argue that his ideology and his management is flawed

His stubborn refusal to see this and adapt to the rigours and idiosyncrasies of the Premier League is baffling to say the least

This is not high calibre management; it's fantasy football.  Beyond that, the constant deflection of blame on to the players can hardly help to build confidence and it is safe to assume those who have been marginalised are now devoid of any

This of course includes the promising youth players in the first team squad whose inclusion with more game time might just have earned Sarri some more patience and sympathy from the supporters

While the players who do play every week, largely immune from being dropped, appear to support the manager, their performances on the pitch tell a different story

In attempting to execute Sarri's tactical dogma they have regularly been torn apart by tactically astute opponents

Seeing their teammates being played out of position and others exposed by the vulnerabilities of the system Sarri demands, it would be no surprise that their belief in Sarri-ball has all but disappeared

When a manager loses both the supporters and the players, there can be no way back, whatever he may think

It will be a remarkable volte-face by the board if they do not follow suit and call time on Maurizio Sarri's tenure at Chelsea

There are many underlying issues undermining Chelsea at the moment, none of which are Sarri's fault

It is possible that these have unfairly hindered his attempts to transform the club

It is equally possible that whoever comes in to replace him temporarily or on a permanent basis will be equally undermined unless they are addressed

Nevertheless, I believe that there are very good reasons why Sarri should go now rather than stay until the end of the season, damage limitation being the most important one

We are all familiar with the narrative at Chelsea when a manager's tenure becomes untenable; once the ball starts rolling it becomes impossible to stop

So why wait for the inevitable? Would it not be better to buy some time before the end of this season and the beginning of next to reboot and re-think the strategy? It might also help the club to address some of the fundamental issues holding Chelsea back before dooming yet another manager to failure

A new manager bounce, even a caretaker manager, might help the club to finish in the top four

Arsenal look as much of a mess as Chelsea at the moment and Manchester United are not as invincible as Sarri made them look last Monday

But perhaps the biggest case for making a quick clean break now is to minimise the risk that key players may well leave come the summer and would be more likely to do so if Sarri's Chelsea carries on the same vein

They may not be able to play Sarri-ball but let us not forget, the bulk of this team have been good enough to win two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and League Cup in the last four years

Given the right management and tactics suited to their strengths, they are still good enough to compete for a place in the top four

We may well have lost Eden Hazard already, but one hopes that we have a small chance of keeping him at the club

Removing the manager who insisted on playing him out of position and whose tactics against City reduced him to looking like a man carrying the pain of the world might help

It is also possible that Real Madrid will choose another player, especially if Chelsea refuse to reduce the asking price

But could the recruitment of Zinedine Zidane, Hazard's boyhood idol, be Chelsea's ace card to keep him at the club?  I also fear for the future of Chelsea's other world class player, N'Golo Kante

Kante is the consummate professional and arguably one of the humblest footballers in the game

But given his status as a World Cup winner and best holding midfielder in the world, how long will he put up with being played out of position while seeing an inferior player fail miserably to do what he can do in his sleep?  And then there are the younger players, with the primary concern being the future of Callum Hudson-Odoi

While his talent remains purely potential at the moment, it is clear that Sarri has no intention of giving him game time and is not concerned by his desire to leave for Bayern Munich

Having seen young talent like Mo Salah and Kevin De Bruyne head out of Stamford Bridge only to become world beaters, the last thing Chelsea supporters want is a repeat of this

A caretaker manager with nothing to lose may be more easily persuaded to play the youngster and see what he's got

The same could also be said for the futures of Andreas Christensen and Ethan Ampadu

But this leaves the bigger question of what or who next?  At least by acting now the board will have more time to devise a new strategy, address the structural issues and begin the recruitment of a new permanent manager

And most important of all, limit any long-lasting damage to the club and its ability to compete going forward

What next for Adam Lewis at Liverpool? - Duration: 5:17.

Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to Liverpool's starting line-up on Tuesday in the 0-0 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League - and his ascent to the top is sure to inspire another young Reds fullback

Adam Lewis committed his future to Liverpool this week, putting pen to paper on a new long term deal

And the 19-year-old will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Alexander-Arnold and establish himself as a permanent first team squad member

Liverpool-born Lewis joined the Reds academy at Under-6 level and he has steadily risen through the ranks domestically and for England internationally

We're building up to Sunday's game against Manchester United HERE   Under the management of Steven Gerrard , the 2017/18 season proved to be a breakthrough campaign for the local lad as he was appointed captain of the U18s and excelled at left-back, representing England at the U19 European Championships last summer

Progression continued and he is now a regular member of Neil Critchley's U23 side with his face appearing more and more frequently at Melwood

Most recently, he travelled to Marbella with the first team for Liverpool's training camp ahead of the end of season run in

Lewis' youth level progression is similar to  Alexander-Arnold's.  The pair played in the same team at junior level, County Park FC before joining the academy at a very young age, and both progressed to become U18 captain

Now, like Alexander-Arnold, Lewis will be looking to take the next step.  The Reds' no

66's rise to the top has been meteoric and nobody could have envisaged that the Scouser would have played in a Champions League final and a World Cup less than two years after he made his Liverpool debut in October 2016, in a 2-1 EFL Cup win over Tottenham

We're building up to Sunday's game against Manchester United HERE   A first Premier League start at Old Trafford in Liverpool's' 1-1 draw with Manchester United followed for the right back in January 2017, and he signed a new long term contract at the end of that season after appearing 12 times

As with most players careers', a little bit of luck and plenty of hard work is needed to get the break they are looking for and going into the beginning of last season the 20-year-old was very much still a squad player

However, Nathaniel Clyne's lengthy injury absence provided an opportunity for more game-time and the England international started Liverpool's first Premier League and Champions League games against Watford and Hoffenheim; netting a free-kick in Germany

After rotating in the early stages of the season with Joe Gomez, injury problems hampered the former Charlton defender and gave Alexander-Arnold the opportunity to make the right back position his own

The young star has since gone on to establish himself as Liverpool's number one right back and has now made 69 appearances for the Reds, including that final in Kiev and he signed another long term deal in January which will keep him at the club until 2024

With Lewis committing his own future on Tuesday, he will be aiming to push on himself and become the next Scouse graduate to be the talk of The Kop

The expected summer departure of Alberto Moreno opens the door for Lewis to impress in pre-season and prove to Jurgen Klopp that he can provide able back-up to Andy Robertson

Video Loading Video Unavailable Click to play Tap to play The video will start in 8Cancel Play now  There is no doubt Lewis will have to bide his time as the Scottish captain has cemented his place as one of the first names on the team sheet, but opportunities will arise in cup competitions especially and it is about him being ready to capitalise and prove that he is ready for the top level

Alexander-Arnold's rise proves that if you are good enough, it is about taking the chances that are presented to you and now, after penning his new deal, this is Lewis' next big challenge

3 Levels of Writing to Ask for Help: English Learner to Native | EnglishAnyone - Duration: 7:09.

Today we're going to transform a sample of writing from a non-native English learner

into something a native would say so you see how to express yourself in your speaking and

writing more naturally and fluently!

Sound good?

Now, on to the sample I got from a learner…

"I am Hang, who is received the email from you.

I come from Vietnamese.

Thank you for the email from you sent for me per week when new information.

I write this email to share with you about my problem.

I have learned English in many years, but my English skills isn't improve.

I can read well, but my listening skill is too bad.

I just understand some words when listening, not understand them means in conversations."

OK, this actually wasn't too bad.

I understood the message, but there are a lot of very basic grammar errors.

So let's clean this up to make an error-free, Level 2 version of the sample, and then I'll

talk about what I fixed:

I am Hang, who receives emails from you.

Here, you need to decide if you're talking about one mail or many.

I'm just assuming many, and that this is continuing, so he receives mails, and not

"the email," from me.

I come from Vietnam.

This is just the difference between a country and a nationality.

You're FROM Vietnam, but you ARE Vietnamese, just like someone who's Japanese comes from

Japan.

Pretty simple.

But things like this might need a bit of review from time to time.

Thank you for the emails you send to me each week with new information.

It's this sentence that tells me he IS in fact talking about receiving regular emails

from me, and not just one.

So I was correct about that in the first sentence, and I can edit the grammar in this sentence

accordingly.

You also send an email TO someone, not FOR someone.

A message CAN be FOR someone, like "This call, or mail, is for you."

But if you're talking about sending something, you send or deliver something TO someone.

I write this email to share my problem.

You can "share" a problem or story with someone, or you can "tell someone about"

a problem or story.

I have learned English for many years, but my English skills haven't improved.

You do something FOR many years if you're talking about from a time in the past to now.

IN would be used if you're talking about doing something in the future.

And because he IS talking about the past, his skills HAVEN'T improved.

Next…

I can read well, but my listening skill is very bad.

"Too" here sounds unnatural, so you'd use "very" instead.

Something like the weather can be "too good" or "too bad," like if the weather is too

bad to drive, but a skill is more something you build from basic movements or steps.

So you're not really "bad" at something when you just start doing it, and you can't

really be "too bad" at it.

You're just not very good yet.

Finally…

I just understand some words when listening, but don't understand what words mean in

conversations.

Here, it's not really clear if the problem is that he can't hear clearly, if he doesn't

understand the meaning of the words, or that some kind of lessons are easier to understand

than conversational speech.

But at least we've corrected the grammar.

Now, let's see one way a native might express this for the highest level of natural, conversational

"flow":

I'm Hang, a reader from Vietnam.

Basic information about your name and where you're from can usually be combined.

And it's much more natural to express a description as a kind of person or job.

So, instead of someone "who receives mails from you," Hang would just be a "reader."

Much easier, right?

Similarly, someone "who transports you from one location to another in an automobile"

would just be a "driver."

It's implied that he's getting my emails if he says he's a reader.

Next, he's just thanking me specifically for tips and advice – or lessons – that

I send each week, so it's more natural the way I've written it.

Thank you for the new tips and advice you send each week.

Likewise…

Let me tell you about my problem.

Just get to the point.

At most, you'd say "I'm writing because" I have a problem.

But, again, I know he's writing, so there's no need for him to mention it.

"Let me tell you about" is also a good way to introduce a problem.

Next…

I've learned English for many years, but my listening hasn't improved.

Again, we want to get to the point and be specific about the problem.

There's no need for two sentences when one will do.

Just state the specific problem without introducing something more general first.

After all, if you can write, there's no need to mention that you can read.

Finally, we get to the specific problem in the last sentence: I understand some words

I hear, but often don't understand words in conversations.

Now, this could be expressed more clearly, depending on what the specific problem is,

but this is fine for today.

Comparing the two examples, you discover one of the secrets to communicating well: simplicity.

See how you can improve the way you communicate by changing just a few simple words?

Feels pretty good, right?

stick maybe you want to accomplish a goal or a dream and you know how to get

there but you can't seem to see it all the way through well I might have a

suggestion for you that might change the trajectory of your entire project before

you start meet me on the other side I'll share with you

hello again and welcome back now what does the beautiful home that you drive

by in your neighborhood everyday in a well-thought-out well-executed plan for

a successful life both have in common well they both start with a solid

foundation before you even lay a brick to stop building so here's a few

examples now you say you want to lose weight so you get up and you join a gym

you get in there and you work hard you sweat you run for days and days trying

to burn calories but you never set up a structured meal plan eating thing that

you can stick to so you can balance the calories out so you end up frustrated

and never losing the weight no foundation or habits set in place won't

accomplish this goal what about you say you want to get out of debt but you pay

off the card here and there but you're not really focused you don't set up a

spending budget plan to help you save money so you can pay more debt off in

the long run again no foundation will have it set in place not going to

accomplish this goal what about you say you want to have a better relationship

with the loved one or spouse but you want to set up a specific time to spend

uninterrupted time with them to get to know them better you never call them

every now and then throw them a gift or two to hope that that will take care of

the lack of time you've been with them nope no foundation set up here so you

won't accomplish that goal as you can see you can't build on something without

having a solid foundation of habits to structure those goals on without it

there'll be no house there'll be no windows there'll be no doors

there'll be no goals accomplished so as you can see if you're not accomplishing

certain goals and tasks in your life it might be time to check the foundation of

your habits they might have a few cracks along the way you might even have to

relay the cement all together to make sure that your foundation and your

habits are solid enough to support the structure of the life you're trying to

The "Empire" star was taken into custody around 5 a.m. CT, police said, ahead of a 1:30 p

m. bail hearing.Smollett faces a felony charge of disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false report claiming he was attacked by two men, including one who was masked, in the early morning of January 29 in Chicago

He alleged they yelled racist and homophobic slurs, tied a rope around his neck and poured an unknown substance on him

At the time, police said they were treating the attack against the black and gay actor as a hate crime

But in the weeks since the alleged attack first made headlines, the narrative has unraveled with several twists, transforming him from a victim to a suspect

Read MoreChicago Police Department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted Wednesday that the Cook County State's Attorney's Office had approved a felony criminal charge of disorderly conduct against Smollett

Under Illinois law, filing a false police report is disorderly conduct and punishable by one to three years

The actor has denied playing a role in his attack, according to his attorneys."Like any other citizen, Mr

Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked," his attorneys said in a statement

"Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount an aggressive defense

"Outpouring of support turned to doubts For weeks, Smollett has stood by his initial claims that he was attacked

He received an outpouring of support from celebrities and politicians immediately after he reported the alleged attack

But the backlash and doubters grew louder, with social media users questioning his claims of the attack especially after police said they could not find video of the incident from surveillance cameras in the area

Police now believe Smollett paid two brothers to orchestrate an assault on him, two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation told CNN this week

By Wednesday, Chicago police said they were looking into the incident as a possible hoax

The announcement came the same day the Cook County grand jury met to review evidence of the incident

Video appears to show brothers buying itemsAs new details emerged in the case, police have said they want to conduct a follow-up interview with the actor following "some developments

"While they did not provide specifics on the developments, surveillance video from January 28 obtained from a Chicago-area beauty supply store appears to show the men connected to the incident purchasing a ski mask, sunglasses, a red hat and other items the day before the alleged assault

They paid for the items in cash, according to the owner, who did not want to be identified

The two men questioned by police -- identified as brothers Olabinjo Osundairo and Abimbola Osundairo -- were initially arrested February 13 but released without charges after police cited the discovery of "new evidence

" They've met with police and prosecutors at a Chicago courthouse, police spokesman Tom Ahern said

The two are no longer suspects at this time, Chicago police have said. The brothers' attorney, Gloria Schmidt, told reporters Wednesday that her clients had not accepted a plea deal or immunity

Police sources said the brothers are cooperating with law enforcement. "You don't need immunity when you have the truth, " she said

In a joint statement issued to CNN affiliate WBBM, the men said: "We are not racist

We are not homophobic, and we are not anti-Trump. We were born and raised in Chicago and are American citizens

"One of the men has appeared on "Empire," Guglielmi said. A police source also told CNN the men had a previous affiliation with Smollett but did not provide additional details

Brothers Abimbola Osundairo and Olabinjo Osundairo. Smollett is angered by allegations, lawyers say Smollett has played a gay character on the Fox TV drama "Empire

" The actor told detectives two men attacked him near the lower entrance of a Loews hotel in Chicago, according to police spokesman Guglielmi

Police were told the two men yelled, " 'Empire' fa***t" and "'Empire' n***er,' " while striking him

In a supplemental interview with authorities, Smollett confirmed media reports that one of the attackers also shouted, "This is MAGA country," a reference to President Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan

Todd S. Pugh and Victor P. Henderson, issued a statement Saturday, describing their client as angry about allegations he orchestrated the attack

"As a victim of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with," the statement said

"He has now been further victimized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack

Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying."Letter was sent to 'Empire' set days earlierBefore the police made their announcement Wednesday, 20th Century Fox Television, which produces the series "Empire," expressed support for the actor

"Jussie Smollett continues to be a consummate professional on set and as we have previously stated, he is not being written out of the show," the statement said

A Fox spokesperson had no comment when reached by CNN on Wednesday.Seven days before the alleged attack, a letter containing white powder was sent to the Chicago set of "Empire," police have said

Authorities determined the powder to be aspirin, according to Guglielmi. The image of the letter and envelope, shared with CNN by a person close to Smollett, includes a message apparently cut from magazine clippings, and a stick figure drawing

Smollett told ABC News the drawing was of a "stick figure hanging from a tree which had a gun pointing towards it

" The letter, addressed to Smollett, includes the word "MAGA" on the outside of the envelope in place of the return address

More than a decade ago, Smollett pleaded no contest to providing false information to law enforcement in a 2007 misdemeanor case, according to Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office

The case stemmed from a DUI stop in which Smollett gave police the wrong name. He also pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and driving without a valid driver's license

He was sentenced to two years of probation and paid a fine.CNN's Ryan Young, Bill Kirkos, Steve Almasy, Joe Sutton, Sandra Gonzalez and Sheena Jones contributed to this report
