A new research study shows YouTube Is To Blame For the Flat Earth Craze

Whats up and welcome to Inform Overload, Im your Information Overlord, Johnny Rogers and

Im the Potato Queen Charlotte Dobre.

them more entertaining.

Or are least try to.

Plus dont forget to stick around to the end of this video where we will answer some of

your comments from previous videos.

At one point in time the world believed the Earth was flat due to lack of knowledge and

information, yet for some reason in todays age of the internet weve been seeing a resurgence

in this long disproved theory.

Theres a growing number of people online that believe the Earth is flat and according to

a new study this alarming growth can directly be tied to the number of conspiracy theory

videos popping up on YouTube.

This is disturbing sign that the online algorithm the platform uses is mainlining bad information

to people in vulnerable populations.

Its a similar thought process to people who think their country is the greatest country

on Earth without ever travelling for perspective.

The algorithm not only creates these echo chambers of bad information, but keeps you

locked in to learning more through recommendations.

The case study comes from Texas Tech University researcher Asheley Landrum who interviewed

30 attendees at two consecutive meetings.

Oh and its important to mention Johnny that those meetings were for the worlds largest

annual conference of Flat Earthers.

What the researcher discovered was ominous to say the least.

Almost everyone at the conference said they first became aware of the flat Earth theory

from YouTube.

Because yknow if theres a YouTube video on it, it must be true.

The only person at the meeting who didnt have a similar narrative was attending with his

daughter and his son-in-law who told him about it...after they watched a YouTube video.

Just when you think they found a lone wolf, all signs lead to the YouTube algorithm.

In what will become the greatest story of our time it seems as though mass information

can lead to the spread of misinformation.

Sure there is a ton of incredible information online, but because most sites want people

to stay on their platform the algorithm is adjusted to feed even conspiracy minded individuals.

And what do conspiracy minded individuals like to eat you ask, well they operate on

a strict diet of unreliable information that further warps their worldview.

Its not just your average individual who believes in the flat earth theory now.

This conspiracy theory has even reached the minds of celebrities such as B.o.B, NBA star

Kyrie Irving, Tila Tequila, and Sheri Sheppard from the view.

Looks like Sheri needs a new view.

In a 2007 episode of the view Shepherd said its not that she necessarily believes that

the world is flat, its just that she has other things on her mind.

Ummm Sheri you can do all the things you do and still not believe the Earth is flat.

We want to hear your thoughts on this story though so comment down below if you think

theres always been flat earthers all around the globe.

Nice I see what you did there.

Just a little personal experience I wanted to add here.

I was on a commercial once and the actor I was working with found me on youtube a couple

months later because of a video we did on the flat earth and contacted me through instagram.

Of course we weren't promoting the idea, we were making fun of the flat earth, we kinda

low key clickbaited and thats how this guy found my.

But yeah, that's just an example of how easily information can spread on youtube,

especially misinformation.

so did the flat earther ask you out?

he did actually.

I didn't know he was a flat earther and then on our first date he said that he didn't

agree with me about my views on the shape of the earth...lets just say that relationship

didnt last very long.

Now its the moment youve all been waiting for..

Its time for - wait Charlotte did you want to bring back the comment dance?

I mean i'll do the comment dance.

Will you do it with me?

What is a fully-serviced centralised hot water plant? // LPE - Strata Community Power Specialists - Duration: 1:34.

If you were asked to explain a fully serviced centralised hot water plant to someone, could

you do it?

There seems to be some confusion around what 'fully serviced' means and who is responsible

for what in these communities.

In high-density buildings like high rises, there tends not to be hot water provision

for each unit so you'll have one room which houses the hot water plant.

The water is heated by electricity or gas and the hot water is supplied to residents

on demand.

All hot water is metered at the point of consumption and residents are billed monthly or quarterly

just like with electricity bills.

'Fully serviced' simply means that a third party own that asset and are responsible for

facilitating the sale of hot water, the maintenance of the plant and are financial responsible

for the fuel supplied to create the hot water.

Most major energy retailers offer this service and recover their costs by charging occupants

for hot water.

There are instances when a Body Corporate will own the hot water plant and will outsource

the 'billing' of the hot water to a 'billing agent'.

So, a fully serviced centralised hot water plant is when a building has centralised generation

of hot water and a third party owns this asset and is responsible for its operation and maintenance.

If you want to better understand utility supply to strata communities then subscribe to LPE's

YouTube channel for weekly videos.

'Shocking' Chelsea fans fume at Sarri as Jorginho is dropped… and Kante STILL doesn't play as holdin - Duration: 3:23.

SOME Chelsea fans have been left fuming after Kante was deployed in an advanced midfield role yet again – despite regular anchorman Jorginho being dropped

Maurizio Sarri instead decided to name Mateo Kovacic as his team's deep-lying playmaker

That's despite calls from some Blues supporters who feel Kante remains the best option to play in front of the defence

However, Sarri has made it abundantly clear that his style of play requires the defensive midfielder to be highly technical

And he recently revealed that Kovacic was being retrained in the position after Chelsea sold Cesc Fabregas to Monaco

That didn't stop a handful of supporters expressing their anger on social media, with one saying: "Kante is still played in the wrong position

This team has no sense of attack. This is disappointing to watch."  Another wrote: "So the crap Jorginho don't play and he still plays Kante out of position sack this guy please

"  One noted: "The stubbornness of Sarri will definitely cost him his job. So many managers wish to have Kante in their team as a DM

I don't seem to understand."  Another observed: "So Sarri has dropped Jorginho and Kante still isn't playing in his best position

Sarri is acting like a third season Mourinho."  One claimed: "This is shocking. Jorginho's negative effect from being on the bench

If only Kante played his normal position."  Another exclaimed: "Sarri still using Kante upfront

He has to go."  One added: "Drop Jorginho and still not playing Kante DM. I'm done

Oscars 2019 host: Why is there no host and what happened to Kevin Hart? - Duration: 3:19.

The 91st Academy Awards will air on February 24 and most of the ceremony is set to keep in line with tradition

It will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, which has been its home for over a decade

The nominations honour the best in cinema and we can expect to see a very glamorous red carpet as the stars don their very finest for the biggest black tie event in the showbiz calender

But this year there is a major change as it will be the first time in thirty years the iconic awards ceremony will be without a host

Where is Kevin Hart?  Kevin Hart was confirmed as the official Oscars 2019 host in December 2018

However, two days after the announcement some tweets of his resurfaced. In 2009 and 2010, he tweeted some homophobic posts

The comedian initially refused to apologise for them and as a result stepped down as the host

He revealed the Academy gave him an ultimatum: Apologise or step down as host. He refused to say sorry and instead issued an explanation on Instagram

He said: "I passed on the apology. The reason why I passed is because I've addressed this several times

This is not the first time this has come up. I've addressed it. I've spoken on it

I've said where the rights and wrongs were. I've said who I am now versus who I was then

I've done it. I've done it."  Read More Kevin Hart anger at 'malicious attack on career' as he reassesses Oscars decision  He then apologised to the LGBT community for his past views on Twitter and said: "I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's

this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists

"I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past

"  In early February 2019 the Academy announced they would be ditching a host saying the show will just have presenters

How will it work?  The ceremony will rely heavily on award presenters to keep the show moving and the line-up this year looks pretty impressive with Whoopi Goldberg, Jennifer Lopez, Daniel Craig, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron, Awkwafina, Constance Wu, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Chris Evans, Maya Rudolph, Amanda Stenberg and Tessa Thompson all signing up for the night

We can also expect to see appearances from Helen Mirren, Michael B.Jordan, Pharrell Williams, Danai Gurira, Paul Rudd, Michelle Yeoh and Michael Keaton

Vitamin D Deficiency & Cancer - Is There a Link? - Duration: 8:19.

Hey, Dr. Huntington here. In this video I want to show you what

researchers are saying about the link between vitamin D deficiency and cancer.

I was reading through a couple of papers this morning and I wanted to share this

with you. So this is from a paper that was published in January of last year.

Researchers noticed that cancer patients are vitamin D deficient much more

often than the general population - and I think that's significant. In fact

it's just another reason why you don't want to have low vitamin D levels. Okay

so for some perspective on this, let's actually go back to a paper that was

published eight years ago. This paper was published in the Journal of

Nutrition Research and it was published in January of 2011. It was called

Prevalence and Correlates of Vitamin D Deficiency in U.S. Adults. It says here,

mounting evidence suggests that vitamin D deficiency could be linked to several

chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease and cancer. If

you're keeping track, that's number one and number two in terms of deaths in the

United States. The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of vitamin

D deficiency and its correlates to test the hypothesis that vitamin D deficiency

was common in the U.S. population - especially in certain minority groups.

Now they go on to say here vitamin D deficiency was defined as less than or

equal to 20 nanograms per milliliter. So the nanogram per milliliter

is just a unit of measure. So on the test, if it's using that unit of measure, it

would be less than or equal to 20 - would be what they're calling a deficiency.

They say here the overall prevalence rate of vitamin D deficiency was 41.6%

with the highest rate seen in blacks at 82.1 followed by Hispanics at 69.2

So what they're saying here is, I drew a scale here for you to be

able to take a look at this, if we assume the bottom would be zero - like no

vitamin D, and the top here 100. You could have more than 100, but

I just put 100 as the top on this scale. About one-fifth

the way up here I put 20. So that's what they're calling deficiency - between

0 and 20. What this paper saying, is that of all U.S. adults, 41.6 of everybody

is in that area - 20 or less, which is what they're calling deficient. It says here

in summary, vitamin D deficiency was common as we can see here in the U.S.

population, especially among blacks and Hispanics. Given that vitamin D

deficiency is linked to some of the important risk factors of leading causes

of death in the U.S., it is important that health professionals are aware of

this connection and offer dietary and other intervention strategies to correct

vitamin D deficiency. Now, despite this being published in 2011, how many doctors

out there are actually monitoring their patients for vitamin D deficiency?

I mean, almost none. So, unless you're seeing a doctor whose

focus is on nutrition, the popular term these days for this type of

practice is 'functional medicine'. So unless you're seeing a functional

medicine doctor, it's not likely that you would even know that you're

vitamin D deficient. Okay so here's the paper from last year - this is the

more recent paper. This one was published in a journal called The Current Problems

in Cancer and the title is Vitamin D Deficiency in Cancer Patients and

Predictors for Screening. Now, it says here, vitamin D is a prohormone - now

prohormone, it just means that vitamin D is

a substance that is a precursor - that you could substitute the word precursor,

right. So it's for prohormone - so it's a precursor to hormones. So vitamin D is

a prohormone that is vital for calcium phosphate balance, bone structure and

physiological functioning. I listed those up here. I'll read it again, vitamin D is

a prohormone that is vital for calcium phosphate balance. That's extremely

important. If your calcium levels are not within a

very normal, but narrow range, you can have all kinds

of bad diseases - this is crucial. Bone structure, I mean we're not going

anywhere without bones. You need healthy bones in order to be ambulatory,

move and breathe and all those other things. Physiological function - I mean you

don't get more of a general, overall statement. I mean

physiological function is basically everything. So you need vitamin D

for all these things extremely important. They go on here to say, the purpose of

this study is to define the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in cancer

patients and establish the predictors of vitamin D deficiency to address a

specific group of patient for screening. Okay, Fine. So here's the results... In two

cancer centers, 706 patients with a diagnosis of cancer were evaluated. So

it's not a small study right, 706 people... Vitamin D deficiency was present in 509

of them - that is 72%. So if we come back over here and we look, we've got the

other paper saying 41.6% of people (of everybody) is deficient, but we're

saying of cancer patients the number is 72%. Now, their conclusion... Our study

concluded the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency is high in cancer patients

female gender, people who have low sun exposure, and also in people who are

on post cancer treatments - as well as people have a history of

gastrointestinal surgery. So these parameters should be used for selecting

patients for screening. So, this paper was looking at identifying who

should be screened for vitamin D deficiency, and that's a good thing for

us to know. But I'm looking at this data and wondering how strong of a

relationship there is between being vitamin D deficient and getting cancer.

I mean 41.6 of everybody is vitamin D deficient but 72% of cancer

patients are vitamin D deficient. So, what should really

blow your mind is that while these papers are

categorizing people at 20 or below - so less than or equal to 20

and there's the unit of measure, or below as deficient, really vitamin D

levels need to be north of like 60. I mean for real function and ideally

between 80 and 85. So when you look at this chart, 80 is going to

be up in here somewhere. I mean, if 41 percent of everybody is down

here, what percentage of the population you know if 80 is optimal, let's say 60

is going to be the lower end of what we want to say is going to help you

function normally, how many people are 60 in below? I mean the numbers got to be

enormous I don't know I mean maybe it's 80% of people or more truly need more

vitamin D. Okay, so we take that data about cancer patients and a million

other reasons to not be deficient in vitamin D - and we don't need

to play with fire here, if you are not already taking a vitamin D

supplement daily, your levels are most likely too low. In supplementing

with a quality vitamin D product is easy and it's inexpensive.

Remember, always take D3 with vitamin K2. Those two have to be taken together.

That's how I formulated my vitamin D supplement, which is available at

bodymanual.com. It's called Vitamin D3K2 and it comes in an easy to swallow

capsule. Alright, so that's the news today on vitamin D. I'll see you in the next

video.

CHEAPEST Monitor on Amazon... Is it worth it? - Duration: 5:12.

- So if you're in the market for a monitor

maybe you just built a new pc,

like this one behind me.

Maybe you're taking your laptop

and you're trying to expand your

workspace for more productivity work.

Or even just a better gaming experience

with a mouse and a keyboard,

you've come to the right place because today we are gonna be

taking a look at this HPVH240A.

Monitor names are so weird.

Which is pretty definitively the

best bang-for-your-buck monitor

you can get on Amazon right now.

It's right around $100, sometimes even dipping lower.

But as you're about to see it can deliver

a pretty surprising amount of performance.

(relaxed music)

So this VH240A is a 1080P 60HZ monitor.

So it's really not going to be a stunner

for it's resolution or it's refresh rate,

but at 24 inches, 1080P is enough pixels to,

not really see any noticeable

lack of quality compared to other monitors,

and 60HZ is enough for almost every task,

except for highly competitive gaming.

One of the first things you'll notice

is it has really, really, good color

for such a cheap monitor.

It has color that I wouldn't expect to see

until the $300-$500 price range.

And it also has really good off-access viewing.

I don't know if you can see this

other monitor here, right here.

Should be a video coming out about that soon.

It is a 144HZ refresh rate,

but the difference in off-access

color viewing is insane.

This is almost to like the iPhone IPS display quality,

of just looking right from the side

and not getting any visual distortion.

Which makes it great for having

on the side like this.

So speaking of the mounting, it comes with an

unbelievably nice HP manufactured stand.

And if you've never bought a monitor before,

you don't know this, but the stand

quality is very, very, important.

I know I'm not using one right now,

but so many monitors come with

such low quality garbage stands

that you can't even type on your keyboard

without it wobbling all over the table.

And this monitor stand is not only sturdy,

but it also has basically every adjustment

you would want.

You can slide the monitor up and down

for the height.

You can tilt it for better viewing angle.

And you can just straight up rotate`

this monitor into portrait mode with the included stand.

I cannot tell you how few monitors do that.

And this is available at one of the

lowest priced monitors on the internet.

So honestly there really isn't

too much to say when you're reviewing a monitor.

I really like the resolution for the screen size.

I really like the refresh rate for the price.

And I think it delivers colors

at a much more premium grade than

it's priced at.

The only drawbacks I found with it so far,

is the lack of additional ports.

You get power, HDMI, and VGA.

Those are your only two video inputs.

So unless you have an old VGA compatible computer

laying around, you can really only have

one input on this display.

Which is a bit unfortunate because

I do like to use mac and windows situationally.

And it would be really dope if I could just

plug'em both in and just be able to

switch right on the monitor.

But I guess I'm gonna have to be stuck

unplugging one and plugging the other in.

Not too big of a deal, especially for the price.

But I just wanna throw that out there.

That is something that's a little bit unfortunate.

Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor.

I originally got it when I was gaming

on a Dell gaming laptop.

And that laptop was only performing

in the 50 to 70 FPS range when

running games on it.

But when I plugged it into this monitor

it was suddenly able to perform

at 115 FPS.

And it's just because when you

have the computer lid closed it's

not driving it's own display.

Could you crank the fans up a little bit more?

It can heat up a little more.

And it just means you'll get better performance.

Not to mention a better gaming experience.

So I'd highly recommend it for that use case.

Because of the good color accuracy.

Not quite as good as mac laptops,

but pretty good in the neighborhood

of displays at this price point.

I was actually able to edit a

good number of my earlier videos

on this display.

So this did get put to good use for that.

It's not a display I would recommend

for editing professionals, but if

you're trying to start your own YouTube channel

this is a really great place to start.

Especially because you're really not

gonna be wanting to work on a really

tiny laptop screen when you're trying

to work on larger editing projects.

But I think my preferred use case

for this monitor overall is the

one I have it in.

It's a perfect budget additional display.

Whether you're trying to stream

and have OBS open on this, or game

and have Discord open on the side.

It also expands productivity a lot

to have a second display.

So all around, if you do have a great monitor

that you're already using

and you're not willing to shell out

that amount of money again,

this is a really great cheap alternative

to jump into the unexplored territory

of dual monitor setups.

Trust me once you try it there, there's no going back.

It's unbelievably good.

So overall, this is a monitor

I would highly recommend.

IS MARCOS MAKING A GOOD DEAL? | FreedomBoss TV Show (Episode 25) | EN & PT CC - Duration: 11:23.

So, it's on our best interest to get out of this market right away.

So, currently, we have two properties.

We have this one and then we have another one, right?

So, with that being said...

Uhm...

I drove here, and I spent most of the day

you know, doing meetings and figuring out ways

to work on this. So...

We can do this two ways,

that's the only possible way that I can create a win-win...

situation.

-OK. -Uhm...

As far as this house, it's under contract,

there's nothing we can do about it.

The question that I wanna ask you is this,

do you have a place to stay?

-Or to move to? -Not right now.

Alright, cool. Uhm...

If that's the case...

How... How long do you need?

Until my guy comes with the van, uhm...

You gotta give me a timeframe, 'cos I don't know

-what that means. -Next week.

-So, I'd say 10 days? -Yeah.

-Or 15 days? -10, 15 days at the most.

-15 days will work for you? -Yeah.

OK, cool. So, uhm...

OK, alright. I think I can make that work.

-OK. -Now, we have another property...

that even... uhm...

That even can work even more.

So, I'm supposed to meet a contractor tomorrow,

I don't know if you're familiar with this area,

and I don't know if you're interested

to go to this area.

Let me give you the address.

Because, here's what I'm thinking...

Do you know this area? 32219.

-Mockingbird? -Mockingbird...

Yeah.

Don't know the road, I know the zip code.

Let me show you on the map.

'Cos this is uhm... This is a big piece of property.

It has a big yard on it, uhm...

It's a mobile home, double-wide, right?

It needs some work on it, right? And, on the back...

we have a detached building, it's like a...

It's very open, it has a...

it has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.

OK? So, it's this area right here.

29... So, we're here, it's right here.

OK, 295.

Yeah. So, this is how the property looks like.

-OK. -OK?

So, what I was thinking is...

We have two options, I was gonna offer you

to move here,

but the property still needs some work, right?

So, I'm meeting with the contractor tomorrow

to get a bid, maybe you also can give us a bid.

Maybe, on the 15 days while you're here,

you can kind of fix the other property

for you to move into, if that's what you want.

-Right? -OK.

Uhm... I don't know how much the rent is in the area,

but once the property is fixed and all of that,

we kind of gonna have to go...

with the market price to make sense, or...

we can even find a way to finance this to you.

-OK. -And, what I'm thinking is,

as far as you as an investor,

it would be a good fit, because...

you can live on the front and rent the back,

and the rent on the pack will pay for the property for you.

-Makes sense? -Yeah.

Or we can even negotiate a price that would make sense for us,

as far as monthly payments, and you can, uhm...

and you can rent the one on the back.

Right? I mean, that's... that's all I got.

Yeah. That can make sense.

As you can see, I'm putting some thought into it

and trying to make it work.

Yes, sir. What I'm looking at--

Because what happens is, if I cancel this contract

I gotta pay the guy back $5,000.

-OK. -Now, unless your offer...

covers what he's willing to pay.

Plus the 5G...

Then I don't have to... I don't...

To me, it doesn't matter selling to--

I mean, like I said, my biggest problem is

immediate cash flow. I can pay anything over time.

-Got it. -To me...

it's worth it, because...

if I'm gonna be here staying and working on it,

it doesn't matter how much I'm paying for it on the long-term.

OK, got it.

I mean, because that's...

What I'm looking at is down the road.

Alright. So, let me see...

Let's just work some numbers in, just so that...

But again, I'm gonna have to...

see with the partners what they'd rather do, OK?

If they'd rather make 10K fast and get out,

or if they wanna make some more, but it kind of...

-help you out and... Yeah. -Maybe scratch up,

they have an opportunity to make a lot more.

Yeah, because what happen was...

If...

What I gather from numbers so far is that...

if this house is completely fixed,

it can be sold for $100, $110,000.

Pretty much, in this area, 125 is the max you can get.

So, around... let's say 100k, right?

So, consider the fact that...

We... we paid $19... $20,000--

$21,000 with the paperwork and all of that for it.

If we put $40... you said, it was the max, right?

Which makes this, is gonna come to $60...

-Not much... -We can still...

We can still make 40k on it, right?

So, there's always a decision of what...

what can be made, right?

Now, based on the condition of this property,

how much you're willing to offer for it?

Remember, right now, we got...

we got 39 plus five, so we got 45k right--

So, not 45k. We got 39k, right?

But then, if we cancel the contract, we gotta pay the guy 5k which...

-which is... No, that's 44. -44.

Which is the earnest money, right?

You're familiar with the transaction, right?

Yes.

So, let's see, if I do this...

You can't put any down payment on it?

Right now, no.

Not even when you get your tax refund?

When I get tax refund, yeah, that's no problem.

-So, let's say... -I get six grand, yeah.

So, let's say we wait a couple of months,

'cos we are flexible on that, what would be comfortable

to put as a down payment?

Just for the sake of numbers.

OK. About six grand.

Six grand, OK. And you said that...

that payments that you're comfortable to make with--

Between...

Because, what I'm looking at is what it takes to fix it up too.

OK? So, if I'm making between...

It'd very smart if you can fix the... the bottom first.

Yeah, that's what I was gonna do. Fix the bottom and then...

-Then I can do the top. -Yeah.

But what I'm looking at, for a comfortable

and being able to fix it at the same time,

-between $500 and $700 a month... -$500 or $700. So...

Let me see if I do this...

$120... payments, which is 10 years.

Let me see what's gonna...

No, not $450,000!

I'd love to get that for this house.

45...

For that much, you'll probably buy the whole block.

Yeah, right?

We bought uhm... 85 homes in Detroit

and we invested like $850,000.

And then I went to L.A., we bought two houses

and a church, and we spent $1 million.

Yeah. That sounds about right.

It's...

The discrepancy is crazy, man.

OK. So, I guess we can do better than that.

What I think it's going to happen, when I present this to the partners,

right? 'Cos I'm just the messenger, OK?

Is that, they're gonna say, because we're gonna do owner finance,

no credit check, none of this stuff,

and there's a gap... Not a gap, there's a cap,

as far as by law, because there's a law called...

I forgot the name, uhm...

It's not Barney Frank, it's...

Dodd-Frank!

Dodd-Frank says, because of predatory lending

and all that, you cannot charge... There's a cap in how much

uhm... interest rate you can charge right?

It might be that they're gonna say, "Look.

We can do owner finance and all that stuff,

but we're gonna have to charge, you know...

$7 to $10,000 more than what it is

to make sense for us to wait that long."

-OK? -OK. Well...

Now, here's the thing,

at 45k, with $6,000 down,

if we do seven years,

it's $626.48.

-OK. -OK? Now...

If they add... if they wanna charge more

and, of course, it's up to you to...

to take it or not, right?

Uhm... we can stretch...

Maybe I can sell them this in 10 years.

But if I do this in 10 years...

Let's put it right here...

Mayor vows to stand up to criminals after bounty is placed on his head - Daily News - Duration: 2:34.

A Mexican mayor is determined to stand his ground after a five-figure bounty was placed on his head

Facebook user 'Mago Martínez' recently issued a death threat against Felipe Patjane, the mayor of Tehuacán, Puebla

The Spanish social media post, which also included a picture of mayor Patjane, read: '200,000 pesos for the head of this dirty rat

' The amount offered for the mayor's murder is the equivalent of almost $10,400 USD

Patjane declared he won't be accepting any deals from the very same organized crime factions and local gangs that his government has waged a fight against since he took office on October, 15

The defiant mayor has noticed positive results in his city's fight against crime.'There is a threat because Felipe Patjane does not negotiate with organized crime or with local criminals and Felipe Patjane comes to work,' the defiant mayor said, according to Mexican newspaper El Universal

While announcing the 23rd Tehuacán International Festival earlier this week, the municipal leader said he had already alerted the cyber police to track down the author of the Facebook post

'On the contrary, I think [the threat] is telling me that I am working the right way and someone is bothered by my work,' Patjane told reporters

Share this article Share The mayor has a detail of six bodyguards but said he refuses to wear a bulletproof vest

Tehuacán is the second biggest city in the state of Puebla and has been plagued with a high theft rate of cargo shipments

The town is located southeast of Mexico City, the Mexican capital.

SPEAKER HORTMAN: I RECOGNIZE THE MEMBER FROM

REPRESENTATIVE STEPHENSON TO EXPLAIN THE BILL. THE STEPHEN

THANK YOU; MME. SPEAKER. MEMBERS AND FOR PEOPLE WHO

ARE WATCHING; ON TELEVISION OR ONLINE; I WANT TO TELL YOU

THAT THIS BILL DEALS WITH A VERY

DIFFICULT SUBJECT AND THAT MY COMMENTS WILL BE VERY DIRECT.

MEMBERS; UNDER EXISTING

MINNESOTA LAW IF A MAN DRUGS

HIS WIFE AND RAPES HER WHILE SHE

IS UNCONSCIOUS; HE CANNOT BE PROSECUTED FOR RAPE. WE LIKE

TO THANK

OF SO-CALLED MARITAL RAPE EXCEPTIONS AS AN ARTIFACT

OF HISTORY. AS A RELIC OF

A TIME WHEN

A WOMAN WAS CONSIDERED THE PROPERTY OF HER

HUSBAND. BUT THE SAD

TRUTH IS HE STILL HAVE A LIMITED

MARITAL RAPE

EXCEPTION ON THE BOOKS TODAY HERE IN

MINNESOTA. MEMBERS; DON'T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THIS IS AN

ACADEMIC DISCUSSION

OR SOME ANTIQUATED PIECE OF LAW THAT NO ONE PAYS ATTENTION TO

ANY LONGER. THIS HAPPENS. THIS HAPPENS EVERY

SINGLE YEAR. IN FACT;

THE SENTENCING GUIDELINES

COMMISSION

ESTIMATES THAT REPEAL OF THIS STATUTE

WILL RESULT

IN SEVEN ADDITIONAL CONVICTIONS EVERY YEAR. THAT IS

SEVEN PEOPLE

WHO ARE NOT GETTING THE JUSTICE THEY ARE DUE

BECAUSE OF THIS LAW. I ALSO

WANT TO THROW OUT THE MINNESOTA COURT OF APPEALS DECISION

[INAUDIBLE] WHICH DECIDED ON DECEMBER 31 OF 2018. IN THAT CASE; A MAN HAD SEX ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS WITH A WOMAN WHO AND

NUMBER OF

COURTING FROM THIS IS IN ACCORD TO THE

PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT FUNCTIONS OF THE MENTAL CAPACITY OF A 7-8-YEAR-OLD CHILD. HE

WAS CHARGE BY THE BROWN COUNTY

ATTORNEY BUT SIX WEEKS BEFORE

THE TRIAL THE DEFENDANT MARRIED

THE VICTIM. THE

TRIAL COURT DISMISSED THE CASE POINTING TO

THE STATUE. NOW FORTUNATELY; THE COURT OF APPEALS REVERSED

CITING IN PART THE POSSIBILITY THAT INTERPRETING THE VOLUNTARY

RELATIONSHIP DEFENSE IS APPLYING

TWO MARRIAGES AFTER THE FACT WOULD

; QUOTE; PERMIT OR EVEN ENCOURAGE AN ACTOR TO MARY IN ORDER TO AVOID CULPABLE FOR CRIMINAL CONTACT CONDUCT.

THE VICTIMIZING THE VICTIM.

MEMBERS; OF COURT OF APPEALS WAS RIGHT TO

THINK ABOUT THE PERVERSE INCENTIVES THAT THIS

LA

W CREATES. WE SHOULD ALL CONSIDER THOSE INCENTIVES

AS WELL. AS AN ASIDE;

THAT DECISION WAS TO-ONE. ONE JUDGE

WOULD'VE UPHELD THE DISMISSAL. WE WERE ONE VOTE AWAY FROM THE CASE BEING DISMISSED.

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE THE WORD OF

THE MINNESOTA

SENTENCING GUIDELINES COMMISSION OR PLAY;

WHAT IF

[INAUDIBLE] I WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT AND TELL YOU THE STORY OF JENNY

T'S AND LIVE THIS NIGHTMARE HERSELF.

MEMBERS; MANY OF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO HEAR JENNY TELL HER STORY DURING THE COMMITTEE HEARING ON THIS BILL. BUT FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T; IT'S A STORY OF HOW MINNESOTA LAW IS FAILING.

JUST ABOUT TWO

YEARS AGO JENNY DISCOVERED THAT

HER HUSBAND WAS

BEING INVESTIGATED FOR MAKING VIDEO RECORDINGS OF HIS COHORTS WILL THEY WERE USING THE RESTROOM ARTWORK. DURING

THE

INVESTIGATION POLICE SEIZED HER

HUSBAND'S LAPTOP. THERE WAS A LOT OF MEDIA ON THE LAPTOP

AND THE INVESTIGATORS

ASKED JENNY TO REVIEW SOME OF IT. CAN

YOU IMAGINE HER HORROR WHEN

SHE FOUND ON THAT LAPTOP A VIDEO OF

HERSELF UNCONSCIOUS;; HELPLESS;

AND BEING RAPED BY HER HUSBAND

? TO ADD TO THE ABSOLUTE HORROR OF

THE SITUATION THAT IS A VIDEO PROGRESS

THE CAMBER ANGLE CHANGE IN JENNY SOUGHT THAT HER

FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILD

WAS ASLEEP ON THE BED NEXT TO HER.

THE ANOKA COUNTY ATTORNEY FILE

SONY LEVEL

SEXUAL CRIMINAL CONDUCT CHARGES BUT THE SAME DAY

JENNY RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE LETTING HER KNOW THAT THE CASE HAD BEEN DISMISSED

. HER HUSBAND'S DEFENSE ATTORNEY HAD POINTED OUT THAT THE SO-CALLED VOLUNTARY RELATIONSHIP DEFENSE IN MINNESOTA MEANT THAT BECAUSE JENNY WAS MARRIED TO HER WITNESS

HE COULD NOT BE CHARGED WITH

FELONNY CRIMINAL

SEXUAL CONDUCT. HE WOULD NEVER BE

PROSECUTED FOR RAPING JEN AND YOU NEVER HAVE TO REGISTER AS A

SEXUAL PREDATOR THERE BE NO TRUE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HER HUSBAND AND NO JUSTICE FOR

JENNY. EVENTUALLY;

HER HUSBAND WAS CHARGE WITH A

LESSER OFFENSE INVASION OF PRIVACY; A

GROSS

MISDEMEANOR. EARLIER THIS YEAR HE SERVED HIS SENTENCE; 30 DAYS IN CUSTODY WITH WORK RELEASE.

MEMBERS; THIS GROSS MISCARRIAGE

OF JUSTICE WOULD BE MOST PEOPLE

FEELING HELPLESS. BUT NOT JENNY

TRENT THISSEN. IN HER

OWN WORDS; THE DAY SHE LEARNED

THE COUNTY ATTORNEY WOULD BE DISMISSING CHARGES AGAINST HER HUSBAND BECAUSE OF THE MARITAL RAPE EXCEPTION; SHE WAS DEVASTATED AND SCARED BUT

SHE QUICKLY MOVED TO ACTION

BUT SHE

TOLD OUR COMMITTEES; QUOTE THAT NIGHT I STRUGGLED WITH THE NEWS I RECEIVED

; WHAT SOME HARRY POTTER WITH

NEXT MORNING I WAS READY TO GO TO WORK TO MAKE SURE THAT

NO ONE IN A

SIMILAR SITUATION HEARS; I

TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT NO ONE ELSE IS DENIED JUSTICE AS SHE WAS. I WANT TO EXPRESS MY ABSOLUTE

Oscars 2019 host: Why is there no host and what happened to Kevin Hart? - Duration: 3:03.

Kevin Hart was confirmed as the official Oscars 2019 host in December 2018. However, two days after the announcement some tweets of his resurfaced

In 2009 and 2010, he tweeted some homophobic posts.

I've done it." He then apologised to the LGBT community for his past views on Twitter and said: "I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's

this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists

"I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past

" In early February 2019 the Academy announced they would be ditching a host saying the show will just have presenters
