Arsenal's recent problems stem from Hector Bellerin's season-ending injury, according

to the author of Unai Emery's biography.

The Spaniard suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage to his left knee in the 2-0 win over

Chelsea last month, and is now facing a fight to be fit for the start of next season.

His absence has exposed the lack of options at right-back for the north London outfit

with Stephan Lichtsteiner and Ainsley Maitland-Niles set to battle it out for the remainder of

the season, while Carl Jenkinson is also at Emery's disposal.

Since Bellerin went down with the injury the Gunners have failed to keep a clean sheet

across any competition and have lost a big attacking weapon down the right-hand side.

A lack of funds denied Emery the chance to address the situation in the January transfer

window.

Luckily Arsenal are only one point off the top four in the Premier League and need to

overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit to reach the last-16 of the Europa League, meaning

it could still be a successful first season in charge for Emery.

Much has changed since the Gunners' 22 game unbeaten run across all competition was snapped

in December and Molina, the author of 'Unai Emery: El Maestro' has blamed the dip in form

on injuries, 'catastrophic' players and bad defending.

"Second thing, when I'm looking at the players in the squad and if you compare to other teams

of the big four or other teams like Everton, defensively for example tell me who is the

best?

I don't think Arsenal has an incredible squad," Molina said on the Chronicles of a Gooner

podcast .

"There is trouble especially in the right-back position.

Hector Bellerin is out and you have absolutely no one.

and is not the only one.

"I believe Arsenal have played some good games this season, the win vs Tottenham, the win

best formation with the injuries and some key players missing but it's still a work

in progress.

"I think the biggest question is where is Arsenal going?"

Lichtsteiner hasn't featured since struggling in the 3-1 defeat away at Manchester City

at the beginning of the month as Maitland-Niles was trusted in a right wing-back role against

Before I start, I would like to know: What do you do when you suddenly get sick and you

have to sing?

We all get sick from time to time.

And from my own experience, somehow we often get sick in the worst time possible.

When you are struck by a virus or bacteria, your voice can be affected too.

You may suffer from laryngitis, which is an inflammation of the larynx.

During laryngitis, the most superficial layer of the vocal folds gets compromised, which

means that the vocal folds cannot vibrate normally.

The vocal folds become pink, red, irritated and swollen.

Sound production may be difficult or even painful, the voice is hoarse, croaky or breathy.

By the way, laryngitis is the most common cause of hoarseness.

So, let's answer the first question: Is singing with laryngitis possible?

The answer is: yes, it is possible but not ideal.

And here is the reason why.

When you get an infection, such as common cold or flu, and the viruses or bacteria affect

your voice, your vocal folds become swollen.

The structure of the vocal folds changes, they become thicker and less flexible and

therefore, your voice will sound hoarse and deeper than usual.

You will require more effort to set the vocal folds into vibration and produce a clear voice.

It means that you will need to strain your voice to make your vocal folds close properly.

This puts additional stress on already compromised vocal folds.

However, it is possible and many singers go on and sing in spite of being sick.

They may be even able to sing well through the whole concert but then lose the voice

after the performance.

That is because the vocal folds reach the maximum threshold what they can withstand.

At this point the vocal folds are so swollen that they cannot vibrate at all.

So, how to get rid of laryngitis overnight or at least as soon as possible?

There are no drugs or exercises to cure hoarseness quickly.

Your vocal folds need three things to repair themselves:

#1 Time The first few days are the worst, your voice

is hoarse, it's almost impossible to talk or sing, your throat hurts, and you may have

a hard time swallowing.

But these symptoms should subside within a few days.

However, your voice may not sound "normal" for another week or two because it takes longer

for the vocal folds to get back into their original shape.

Viral infections simply need to run their course.

Bacterial infections may require a course of antibiotics, so visit your doctor to see

how to deal with your infection.

In the initial stages, you may need to use some medication, such as painkillers, but

many of these drugs for common colds have adverse effect on voice.

For example, aspirin may reduce swelling but it also increases the risk of bleeding.

So, if you decide to take aspirin, avoid sudden and high impact vocal behaviours, including

high energy singing or prolonged excessive voice use.

Also, if you are going to sing, avoid local anesthetics like numbing throat sprays, medicated

cough syrups or lozenges.

When your throat is numb, you can easily overuse your voice and cause further injury.

Decongestants have a drying effect on your body, including the vocal folds.

If you are taking them to help with a runny nose, increase your water intake to make up

for this side effect.

There are some non-medicated lozenges that provide good throat lubrication for singers.

#2 Rest Rest is important not just for your voice

but for your body too.

Rest as much as possible.

I believe that sleep is the best doctor and it definitely helps you get back to normal

as soon as possible.

Also, decrease vocal use and demands on your voice during the initial stages.

Let other people talk during this time.

Chose activities that do not require your voice, like reading a book or watching a movie.

You don't need to be quiet all the time: talk when you need to.

Just try to decrease demands on your voice during this time.

#3 Water and Air Yes, hydration is the way to go.

This rule applies even more when it comes to a hoarse singing voice and laryngitis.

It may be painful to swallow initially and therefore, you may be avoiding drinking.

Keep those vocal folds hydrated because dry vocal folds are more susceptible to vocal

injuries.

Also, if your body produces extra mucus and phlegm, which is more viscous and thicker

than normal, hydration helps to thin the mucus down.

Additionally, some drugs can have a drying effect so you need to counteract this effect

too.

So, drink sufficient amounts of fluids, humidify your bedroom and steam your voice.

Bonus tip Often, when you get sick, you find yourself

coughing and clearing your throat due to increased production of mucus.

Try to minimize these abusive behaviours because they bring the vocal folds together in a very

forceful way and compromise them even more.

I know it's easier said than done.

If you need to cough, you need to cough.

But you can use saline sprays or saline nasal irrigation systems or salt water for gargling

to reduce the amount of mucus from your nose and throat, which will lessen the need for

coughing and throat clearing.

So, in summary emergency vocal remedy for singers includes lots of fluids like water,

warm teas with lemon, honey or ginger, vocal rest, steam, good nasal hygiene and sleep.

This is the best way to heal a singing hoarse voice.

Some singers have to sing during the first few days of laryngitis.

Sometimes, the decision whether to sing or not is very difficult.

Sometimes it's not even possible.

But if you decide to sing with a hoarse voice, bear in mind that you will be singing with

a different technique: more forceful and strained in order to produce a clear sound.

You will be using more effort and you'll be pushing more than usual.

Make sure that you don't continue using this unhealthy technique after the sickness

goes away.

If you can, cancel or reschedule your vocal commitments to give your voice a chance to

heal properly.

If you are not sure what to do, speak to a doctor to get a professional opinion and help.

If you experience hoarseness for longer than 2 weeks, it is time to talk to a voice specialist.

Visit an ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor who can look at your vocal folds and assess their

structure and function.

Now you know how to deal with hoarseness.

This Is How Flex Tape Got So Popular - Duration: 10:20.

Every so often a product comes along that is so amazing it can't help but change the

world...or at least fix a boat that's been sawed in half.

Here's the untold truth of Flex Tape, the tape that can supposedly fix almost anything.

We already know that Phil Swift launched the Flex Seal company with his brother Alan, but

intel on Alan is notoriously difficult to find.

Who is this Alan?

Is he as stunningly beautiful as his brother?

"Yeeee doggy."

Does superhuman charisma and marketing genius run in the family?

To find out, you could join the 1,800-plus fans who follow Alan on Instagram, but you

might be waiting a while because Alan has posted exactly zero times to his Instagram

account as of this video.

There's evidently a third brother, too: Rick Swift, who has an Instagram page that is,

sadly, private.

So you're probably not going to get any secret insight into the family life of Phil Swift

from either of those sources.

Phil did post about his son on Instagram — Nic Swift is a music producer living in Los Angeles,

and he even has some Flex Seal cred.

The younger Swift evidently worked as a production assistant on the first Flex Seal commercial,

so clearly, Flex Seal is coursing through the veins of pretty much everyone in that

family tree.

Except maybe Rick.

We have no idea what that dude is up to.

No famous person is safe from the ultimate hazard of success in America: people complaining

loudly and publicly in Amazon product reviews.

The most common complaint is that the real-ife stuff doesn't hold up to all the claims made

in the commercials.

One user wrote:

"Guess what?

It does not work underwater."

Another user also said, quote, "the only thing it sticks to is skin."

"Why is it so sticky?"

Still, a few bad reviews on Amazon isn't really the worst part of it.

Twenty-six complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau.

Granted, that's a pretty small number compared to what the company has probably sold overall,

but some of the complaints accuse the company not of false advertising but of overcharging.

Some customers say they were sent more product than they ordered, were charged full price

for it, and were given no easy way to change the order after placing it.

Flex Seal has a whole video about all the celebrities who love their products.

As it turns out, none of them seem to be taking the product particularly seriously.

"If you have a leak, if you have a drip, if you have a hole in your roof, just get it!

Get Flex Seal."

The video includes Jerry Seinfeld, Daniel Tosh, David Letterman, and musician Josh Homme,

who made a single joke about it on The Talking Dead.

We can't really fault Flex Seal for wanting to capitalize on the handful of celebrities

who have mentioned them in passing, but it does seem like kind of a stretch to say celebrities

love Flex Seal.

Even Jerry Seinfeld's gush kind of seemed a little not-very-serious.

"He attacks the bucket.

He's grunting and he's laughing…"

"Yeah, he's got a weight problem so he's very believable and relatable."

Maybe the company should be sending free samples out to everyone in Hollywood so they can build

a longer list of celebrities who mention the stuff on television.

So now you have 17 rolls of Flex Tape, but you just can't bring yourself to saw your

boat in half.

"I sawed this boat in half!"

What else can you do with all that Flex Tape?

Fortunately, the Flex Seal blog has some ideas.

Since we know Flex Tape is awesome at sticking to living things, the first obvious choice

is to use it as a bug trap.

The site suggests:

"Hang long strips of Flex Tape in areas you want to minimize bugs."

Now, a roll of Flex Tape costs $13 and is only 5 feet long, and you can get 36 feet

of actual fly tape for the same amount, but whatever.

If you don't like that idea, you can use Flex Tape on your furniture feet to prevent scuffing.

Okay, so those aren't great ideas — happily, Flex Seal has some car repair tips, too.

You can use Flex Tape to tape your license plate to your car because everyone knows license

plate holders and screws are for suckers.

You can also use it to tape on your rearview mirror, tape your headlights, and tape your

cracked bumper.

You can tape everything.

It truly is nature's most divine substance… according to the website.

"It's like the Hoover Dam, in a can."

Flex Tape is good for so much more than just taping boats together.

It's also a great way to prank someone.

You could, you know, cut up your neighbor's boat and tape it back together.

"Can he swim?

I hope not."

Or, you could just do what the NBA on TNT crew did to Charles Barkley, which is way

less expensive and life threatening.

The crew cut up a bucket, repaired it with Flex Tape, and then demoed the repair by pouring

water into the bucket while holding it over Charles Barkley's head.

Except it wasn't the Flex Taped bucket, it was another bucket, which means Barkley actually

ended up getting wet.

"Flex Seal!

If I was out in the Everglades a alligator would eat me!

I was gonna use it to put my boat back together."

After the crew revealed the switch, they offered to demo the real Flex Taped bucket but oops,

they ran out of time.

So Flex Tape got some brand recognition, even though no one actually got to see whether

the stuff works.

So yeah, that worked out.

If you don't think you can justify spending $59.99 on a cardboard cutout of Phil Swift

or $329.99 on a Flex Seal scooter, wait around because Flex Seal has some pretty weird contests

and giveaways.

For Halloween 2018, the company announced a Phil Swift pumpkin carving competition.

And just in case you aren't creative enough to figure out how to make your pumpkin look

like Phil Swift, they even provided the stencil.

For fans who may not relish the thought of pulling the guts out of their Phil Swift pumpkin,

Flex Seal also sponsored a "big head" giveaway on Instagram — winners received autographed

copies of Phil Swift's giant head.

Phil Swift wrote:

"You know it's hard to get ahead in life.

[...] Tell me why you think you deserve my big head.

Why should I give my big head to you?"

Perhaps declaring your everlasting devotion is not enough.

Perhaps you want to do more than just spend hours online, obsessively googling "Flex Tape"

and "Phil Swift."

Perhaps you actually want to be Phil Swift.

Great news!

You can!

For just a small investment of way more money than you'd probably have to spend on the average

Thanos costume, you can buy a Phil Swift Halloween costume direct from the source.

The costume includes a Flex Seal polo, a Flex Tape baseball cap, and several cans of Flex

Seal products.

The Flex Seal website even offers a handy list of patented Phil Swift catchphrases,

for no extra charge.

What a bargain!

"That leaky roof will cost you thousands!"

Once upon a time, you could also buy a life-sized Phil Swift cardboard cutout for $59.99.

But alas, like the Phil Swift Halloween costume, the Phil Swift cardboard cutout is officially

no longer available.

If you're really enterprising, though, you might be able to sculpt your own Phil Swift

out of a few gallons of Flex Seal.

"It's like a handyman in a can."

If you've ever dreamed of becoming internet famous, earning the everlasting adoration

of millions, and becoming the star of terribly written fan-fiction, then you need to invent

some tape and star in your own infomercial.

Or maybe you have to be Phil Swift to make that work.

"It's like a pressure washer in a can."

Somehow, Phil's winning personality and magical ability to destroy things and then put them

back together have made him such a star that people actually write stories about him and

post them online for the world to make fun of.

In one story, Phil Swift, "The lord of darkness," plots multiverse domination and can only be

subdued with "the blessed flex tape."

Because you didn't already have enough reasons to love and respect him, it has come to our

attention that not only is Phil Swift the king of all things made out of liquid rubber,

he is also a guitar god.

Or at least, he is as far as we can tell based on one weird 19-second green screen video

in which he plays guitar and sings about how much he loves Flex Seal.

"Flex Seal."

This is a tantalizing peek into the personal life of Phil Swift, who up until now has been

known only for his skill with a chainsaw and love of boating.

And because we know no rational person has time to page through Phil Swift's entire Twitter

feed, we've done it for you!

As it turns out, Phil Swift also has his own cool home music studio, complete with a whole

drum kit, some electric guitars, and a wall covered with classic rock photos.

Phil says he loves to go to his studio with friends and "jam on," probably using these

Flex Seal guitar picks that cost $2 apiece, but what he doesn't say is how much Flex Tape

went into the design and construction of the music studio.

At least we can probably assume that the room will survive the next hurricane.

Because evidently there are people who have joked that Flex Tape or Flex Seal or any other

Flex products might actually be delicious, Phil Swift felt it was necessary to post a

video on Instagram warning fans to keep the stuff out of their mouths.

"Some people think they can eat the Flex Seal family of products.

You can't.

Don't eat them."

Look, we're with Phil here — it's stupid to eat things that aren't food.

Please don't do it.

Sometimes, fame and fortune turns you into a megalomaniac who's too good for anyone and

everything, including adoring fans.

Not Phil Swift, though.

Say what you will about the guy's products and weird marketing strategy, at least he

doesn't take himself too seriously.

The proof?

In 2017, YouTuber Jon Tron posted a video joking about Swift's Flex Seal commercials.

In response, Phil Swift himself starred in a sequel video that features the man himself

ruling Flex World, a land of Flex Seal waterfalls and Flex Tape birds and butterflies, from

some high-backed wooden and vinyl throne thingy.

"Ready?

Ahhhhhhhh."

In the video, Phil calls JonTron "my child" and shows him something in a metal toolbox

that emits golden light and opera music, which let's face it, is not something you do unless

you either don't take yourself too seriously or are an actual supernatural being.

It's great to be the owner of a wildly successful line of products that may or may not work

as advertised.

And clearly, Phil Swift has the vision to see ridicule as an opportunity to sell more

Flex Tape and Flex Seal, as evidenced by his role in Jon Tron's video.

But Swift's ability to run with the joke doesn't stop there.

On the Flex Seal website, you can buy merchandise ranging from a decal of Phil Swift's head

to T-shirts bearing Phil Swift's most-ridiculed catchphrases.

But true fans aren't satisfied with just the company-approved merch, so there are also

plenty of non-company-approved designs out there.

Now, any other self-respecting pitchman might try to down those unauthorized mech-sellers,

but not Phil, who has the foresight to know that anyone wearing a Phil Swift or Flex Seal

T-shirt of any kind is basically a free, walking billboard.

So that probably means we'll continue to see unauthorized merchandise for as long as Flex

Tape and Flex Seal continue to be A Thing.

only came to an end at the start of October after beginning in June however

the reason these swarms happen in the first place has been analyzed by experts

and the reason they occur has been revealed david shelley seismologist of

the United States Geological Society USGS wrote a blog post about what they

had found in the Yellowstone Caldera chronicles the seismic network in the

Yellowstone National Park has been upgraded so the swarm could be analyzed

in further detail experts could precisely locate each tremor and allow

them to create a map where each earthquake occurred and show how the

swarm had moved he wrote the patterns of seismicity from the swarm in time and

Had Yiannopoulos' Patreon stuck around, backers could've looked forward to hot rewards like "free Milo ringtones," an "elite-tier" coffee mug, and the privelege of having Yiannopoulos fly to wherever you are and take you and a friend out to dinner once a year—a steal at $750

Hello traders, Hello traders The title of this video is which time frame

is best for swing trading?

This is an important swing trade question that all technical swing traders

must know.

However, to answer that question it is not that simple as it seems.

Obviously a swing trader that is using the daily chart successfully will say it is

the daily chart but another successful weekly chart swing trader will recommend

the weekly chart instead of the daily chart.

As you can see, it is normal that a swing trader that using the monthly chart

successfully prioritizes that time frame.

So we have to go beyond the swing traders' preferences to answer the

question more correctly.

To avoid a long discussion, let me ask you a question: what is the ultimate goal of

all successful swing traders?

Think of it for a second.

Get it now.

That's right, the common goal is to have many successful swing

trades.

Right?

YES IT IS.

So would you agree that it is not the time frame that one is using that is the real

cause of a successful swing trade but instead it is how one is using that time frame for

swing trading.

Commonly, swing traders use three times frame: daily, weekly and monthly charts.

In my view, most old fashioned swing traders love the daily chart but I prefer the monthly

chart because it allows one to see the bigger picture that many daily chart swing traders

are not viewing.

Hold that thought.

I am not saying that one should not swing trade

the daily chart.

One should use the daily chart in conjunction with the monthly chart.

For swing trading in my opinion and experience, the monthly chart is the best time frame.
