our affiliate marketers for beginning for beginners series and we're going to

be talking about something special but before I get started if this is your

about affiliate marketing for a week now and if you don't know affiliate

marketing is basically a business model where you will bring the customer to a

company and if they buy you get money you get commission Ching awesome right

and so basically you do stuff like that every day when you basically say you

need to go see this movie or you need to get these pair of shoes or you know this

purse is awesome you got to go here to get it every time that you do that you

are basically doing affiliate marketing but instead of you doing it for free now

you're gonna get paid for it so it's a win-win situation for you okay so let's

get into it today we're going to be talking about researching your target

market target market I know you heard that where before from your gurus your

mentors the youtubers other people that are in you know the affiliate marketing

business space or network marketing space anything like

that your target market your ideal market your ideal client your customer

avatar all of these different names for it and you're sitting there looking at

them like yeah okay and who is that and how can I find that out okay so if you

are confused and you don't know what it is that you need to do to find that

that's what I'm here for today I got you we go work it out today okay so first

let's talk about what is your ideal market what is your target market it

they are basically the people that you are targeting that like your niche that

you can market that you can market to basically it's like people that you know

will buy Jordans okay that is your target market those are the people who

you need to target okay you're not going to target a 65 year old

person who can barely get out of bed and may not have any legs because they are

not gonna wear Jordans okay so you need to think about who is going to buy the

products in your niche and that is what you have found out from the previous

videos you found out your niche you have some semblance of ideas of what it is

that you're going to offer the marketplace as far as what products

you're going to sell and what what's going to win for you and what's going to

make money because there are people out there buying it now you need to find out

what type of people are gonna buy it okay and there's a few different ways

that you can go about doing this so the first way is just brainstorming off the

top of the dome okay and generally brainstorming is basically

about the people that you know that would buy that stuff so there are seven

questions seven questions you need to ask yourself when you are trying to find

your target market or your niche market or your ideal client or your customer

avatar or whatever it is you want to call it okay

question number one who are they alright you know what are their age what do they

want what is their physical characteristics you know if you're in

the weight loss niche you probably want to target people who have a little bit

more weight on them debate want to okay so you know in the terms of Jordans

people who either want to look cool like wearing drawers cuz they cool and maybe

who like playing basketball a little wear Jordans while they're pairing

basketball okay so who are they what do they look like okay what are their ages

you know what is their Democratic do they have a lot of money do they have a

little bit of money do they stay in the hood and do they stay in the suburbs do

they say in a city who are these people that you want to market to alright

number two what do they do for fun you know what is their hangout spot you know

if you see a whole bunch of people I know for Jordans it's probably gonna be

like teenagers to me you know high school was you know generally black high

school bus that loved Jordans but there's someone what soup you know but

generally it's teenagers or um you know young people young adults 20s maybe 30s

maybe early 30s okay those are the people that you want to target with

these shoes or their parents okay because they're the ones that are gonna

buy the shoes all right so that's what you want to think about

question number three and it's basically a piggyback on question number one but

what is their demographic what is their financial status we talked about that

before do they have kids are they male or female are they married or single do

they go to school are they you know out of high school or they're in college are

they out of college do they have a master's degree what is your ideal

clients what is it that they live for what how are they interact with the

world and how do they see the world okay question number four what do they like

to read and if they don't read what do they like to watch and that's not just

watching on TV it's like YouTube watching ok what do they like to do like

over social media okay do they get on social media okay

those are questions you need to ask yourself as far as your ideal or target

market okay question number five what is important to them what are they what are

their dreams what are their goals what is it that they want to accomplish in

life and you know for jordans it could just be you know I want to look cool you

know that that could just be the number one goal it could be anything all right

so what is it that they have as far as goals in their life what are they

striving for what is their you know what makes them want to get up in the morning

what what is their ambition their passion okay those are the questions you

need to ask yourself and number six what keeps them up at night that you may can

solve you know do they have a problem that you have that your niche can solve

and those are the things you need to ask yourself especially because when you

start doing ads or marketing or doing YouTube videos you want to speak to

those things so you need to write those things out think about it

what keeps them up at night what keeps them up at night that you can solve

that's a big thing big big big number seven what are they doing right now that

is just not working okay what is it that they are doing that just is not working

I guess as far as the Jordans go maybe their wear shoes that just aren't cool

me and you know they're being bullied or they you know are being talked about him

they have a low self-esteem because of it so that's not working for them and

maybe that's a spot that you can touch on if it's personal like weight loss or

something like that somebody who wants to lose weight maybe they tried a bunch

of different ways of losing weight and maybe they've seen

some success but it's not long-term it's not lasting and it's just not working

for them and so you want to address all of these issues who they are basically

who they are on the inside what type of person they are

you know that's number one number two what do they do for fun number three is

what are their demographics what are they like on the outside okay so number

one is what do they like on the inside number three is whether they like on the

outside number four what do they like to read or

watch and those are important because when we get into the tools to help

research these things then you can see if your depth does the person that you

have in your mind actually comes to play in the different aspects in which we're

going to research this number five what's important to them with their

goals number six what keeps them up at night what gives them trouble that you

can actually personally solve with your niche and number seven what are they

doing that just is not working okay so I'm gonna flip over to the screen and

this is an organizer that I use that I um this helps me with my target market

research and I'm going to be putting this in my ebook so if you stay tuned

okay so this is my let me share my screen first alright so this is my

target marketing profiling because I am an affiliate marketer I am targeting

teachers because I am a teacher okay so I basically know the pains the points

the challenges all the things that deal with being a teacher because I am one so

I know how to market to one because I am one so I have my background block here I

okay what are they challenges what is it that they that keeps them up at night

okay common objections what is it that will make them say no to your product

okay so you need to get inside their head and think like them

okay this is like psychoanalysts type stuff but it's not hard

you just think if you were in that position what would make you say no all

right and I told you about the demographics her goals what is it that

she wants to do we talked about that before her hobbies and interests which

is basically what does she like to read and watch and her biggest fears what

scares her about not doing what you are having her do okay and so that is my

organizer and again I'm gonna put this in my e-book so you will have this tool

Welcome back to Grand Adventure!

I'm your host Marc Guido, and today while we're anxiously awaiting the return of camping

season, we're talking about the importance of bringing a portable air compressor along

on your outdoor adventures, so stay tuned!

Now, if you're traveling off road it's often important to air down your truck tires, both

to soften the ride over rocky terrain, and to provide your tires with enhanced grip,

especially if you're driving through loose sand.

However, once you get back to asphalt you need a quick and efficient way to air your

tires back up to their proper pressure, lest you risk experiencing a blowout.

Likewise, if you're driving a motorhome or towing a camping trailer, it's essential to

keep those tires at their maximum pressure to be able to fully support the heavy load

that they're designed to carry.

Underinflation is the single leading cause of trailer tire failures, which is why we

always check our trailer's tire pressure before each and every day on the road.

Maintaining proper air pressure of both our truck and trailer tires is handled by a portable

air compressor.

Those of us towing travel trailers or fifth wheels have 6, 8, or even as many as 12 tires

to maintain, and there are several approaches you might take to keeping them at their proper

air pressure.

You could simply stop at a gas station or truck stop to use their compressor, but where

we camp there's seldom one nearby.

Also, many don't work, and nearly all now require quarters or a credit card to operate.

Many RV'ers are content with carrying a portable 120V pancake compressor like this one.

Yes, they'll do the job.

However, to use them you need a source of 120V AC current, and where do you find that

at the end of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere?

You might answer "your generator," of course, but what if you're just out exploring for

the day?

Chances are your generator is back at camp with your RV.

And why should you have to depend on a second device, when you always have a power source

readily available right here under the hood of your truck?

Another option is an inexpensive compressor from the big box store down the street that

plugs into your cigarette lighter.

However, these all invariably lack durability and break easily.

They're slow and lack power, they're loud, and on a big job they overheat often, requiring

you to pause inflation to allow the compressor to cool back down.

Many times in life you actually do get what you pay for, and there's a far better solution

available for not a lot more money.

We use this high quality Viair 88p portable 12-volt air compressor.

Let us first explain our relationship with Viair, or rather, the lack thereof.

We've never contacted Viair, nor have they ever contacted us.

We bought this compressor on Amazon just like everyone else.

We're nothing but a devoted consumer of their products, for both their superior quality

and exceptional reliability.

All of the working components in the Viair 88p are encased in metal, with a powerful

motor operating a directly driven piston.

A motor this powerful has a 20A draw -- that's too high an amperage to connect via a car's

cigarette lighter port without blowing fuses in your vehicle, so it instead connects directly

to the vehicle's battery with these alligator clamps.

Compressors that use a cigarette lighter plug are only suitable for light-duty use.

On the 88p there's a 20A automotive fuse placed inline on the power cord for protection.

Atop the compressor there's a large pressure gauge, but the compressor must be momentarily

switched off to obtain an accurate reading.

We find that it reads about, oh, 2-3 psi too high when the compressor is actually running.

The 88p's long piston stroke and rubber feet means quiet operation with minimal vibration.

There's an important integrated heat sink on the piston head that gets very hot, so

be careful to not touch it when in use or shortly thereafter.

Viair includes accessory tips that store right here on-board for inflating a football or an air mattress,

and a switchable LED flashlight, right here, that also serves as a power indicator.

This Viair model has a 16-foot air hose and a 10-foot power cord.

If that's not long enough to reach all of your trailer tires, a six-foot extension hose

is available from Viair as an accessory.

A twist-on locking brass air chuck ensures a tight, secure seal, and doesn't require

you to squat down and hold the chuck on the tire valve during inflation.

Unlike many of the cheap big box store compressors, you'll find no other frills on the 88p.

Where the 88p truly shines, though is in its specs.

That little gem puts out 1.47 cu ft of air per minute at 0 psi, and 1.25 cu ft per minute

at 30 psi.

What does that mean in the real world?

This will take a 225/60 R18 tire from 15 to 30 psi in a mere 1 minute and 19 seconds, and

it's capable of inflating up to 33-inch tires.

Its maximum operating pressure is 120 psi, but Viair makes other models capable of up

to 150 psi, for you folks with the giant fifth wheels with the real high pressure tires.

Perhaps an air compressor's most important specification, though, is duty cycle, something

that you'll never see manufacturers of cheap compressors even mention.

Duty cycle indicates how long the compressor can run before it needs to be stopped to cool

down.

The 88p has an impressive 45% duty cycle -- that means that it can run for 25 minutes @ 30

psi before needing to cool down.

Most cheap big box store compressors, by comparison have a duty cycle of only around 15%.

It takes us only about 10 minutes to air all 4 truck tires back up from 50% of normal pressure

after off-roading, and that's something that we can accomplish without having to pause at all.

At only 4.75 lbs, the Viair 88p is compact and lightweight.

It's IP53 rated for water and dust ingress, but it doesn't come with a case.

We picked up this small tool bag at Home Depot for under $10.

In the case of the Viair 88p, quality doesn't necessarily come with a premium price tag.

At the time we're filming this video it's priced at $65.95 on Amazon, with free Prime

shipping available.

The six-foot air hose extension is available for another 5 bucks.

On Amazon the 88p has garnered 4.6 out of 5 stars from nearly 1,800 customer reviews.

Now while we're at it, we'd like to share with you this handy tire deflator from ARB

that greatly speeds up the process of airing down your tires for offroad use.

Sure, you could simply press on the center pin in your tire valves to release the air,

but there's a better way, and a faster way to do it.

This little piece of pure genius allows for the removal of the tire valve core to allow

air to rapidly escape, yet at the same time holds onto the valve core to prevent dropping

and losing it.

Once the desired pressure is achieved, as indicated by the highly accurate built-in

pressure gauge, you simply twist to screw the valve core back in.

Do you know how to incorporate your company?

Step 1

You need to submit your application

for incorporation to the Registrar

as stated in section 14(1) of Companies Act 2016.

You should also include a statement with

the following particulars in the application for incorporation:

Section 14 four states that

you also need a statement from

each promoter or director confirming:

A. His consent to act as a promoter

or to his appointment as a director

B. that he is not disqualified under this act

to act as a promoter or a director.

Step 2

Now, according to section 15,

if the Registrar is satisfied that

the requirement of this act

as to the application for incorporation

are complied with and

upon payment of the prescribed fee,

the Registrar shall:

Enter the particulars of the company in the register,

Assign a registration number to the company

as its company registration number, and

Issue a Notice of Registration in the form.

However,

the Registrar shall not register an application

unless he is satisfied that

that all the requirements of this Act

in respect of the registration and

any matter relating to the registration

has been complied with

without prejudice to the powers,

according to Section 16(1)

of the Companies Act 2016.

If company is likely to be used

for an unlawful purpose

The Registrar has the right to refuse

to register the application

of the proposed company.

Step 3

Upon an application by a company

and on payment of a prescribed fee

The Registrar may issue the company

a certificate of incorporation

You have successfully incorporated your company!

What happens next are as follow:

Section 18(1) states that

upon the date of incorporation specified

in the notice of registration issued

under Section 15,

there shall be a company by the name

and registration number as stated

in the principal register

kept by the Registrar for this purpose.

Section 18 (2)

every person whose name is stated

as a member in the application for incorporation

and on the incorporation of the company

shall be entered as members

in the register of members.

In the case of a company having a share capital,

Section 18 (3) states every person whose name

is stated in the application for incorporation

becomes the shareholder

as specified in the application.

Section 18 (4) states

the details of the registered office of the company

are as stated in,

or in connection with,

the application for registration.

In addition to that,

Section 18 (5) states that

the person named in the statement

as a director or a secretary,

if any,

shall be deemed to have been

appointed to that office.

The Supreme Court ruling on excessive fines has an Easter egg for libertarians Los Angeles Times

Coming to the relief of victims of over policing and following the advice of the Los Angeles Times the Supreme Court unanimously Wednesday that the 8th Amendments ban on excessive fines applies to the states as well as the federal government. It joins most other guarantees in the Bill of Rights that have been incorporated against the states through the 14th Amendment that was added to the Constitution after the Civil War.

The court sided on that constitutional question with Tyson Timbs, an Indiana man whose dollar 42,000 Land Rover SUV was seized in a civil forfeiture action after he pleaded guilty to selling worth of heroin to undercover police officers. The state said the SUV had been used to transport heroin.

Although the purchase price of the vehicle was more than four times the maximum dollar 10,000 fine assessed against Timbs for his drug conviction, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that it didnt violate the 8th Amendment because that amendments ban on excessive fines didnt apply to state action.

The U.S. Supreme Court rightly reversed that decision. Writing for the majority, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg concluded that the ban on excessive fines qualified as one of the protections that must apply to the states because it is fundamental to our scheme of ordered liberty and deeply rooted in this nations history and tradition.

All nine justices agreed that the ban on excessive fines was extended to the states through the 14th Amendment. But two justices Neil Gorsuch, who joined Ginsburgs majority opinion, and Clarence Thomas, who didnt raised a question that captivated legal nerds as soon as the decision came down:

Exactly which language in the 14th Amendment does the work of incorporating the 8th Amendments ban on excessive fines against the states? This might seem like a dry technical question, but it has important political and policy implications, especially for libertarians who believe the Supreme Court should be more aggressive in protecting economic rights.

Section 1 of the 14th Amendment says:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Typically when the Supreme Court has incorporated one of the amendments in the Bill of Rights against the states, it has focused on the language in the 14th Amendment about depriving people of liberty without due process of law. It has fastened on the same language in protecting unenumerated rights such as sexual privacy.

In her majority opinion, Ginsburg wrote: With only a handful of exceptions, this court has held that the 14th Amendments Due Process Clause incorporates the protections contained in the Bill of Rights, rendering them applicable to the states.

But due process of law seems an odd phrase to pluck out for incorporation purposes, partly because its about legal process, not substantial rights. The Supreme Court in employing it has had to make use of a mind boggling concept called which implies that some rights are so fundamental that there is no fair process that could result in their deprivation.

To the ordinary reader, another phrase in Section 1 of the the command that no state shall make a law abridging the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States seems a better fit.

But theres a problem: In 1873, in the so called Slaughterhouse Cases, the Supreme Court defined the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States extremely narrowly. Essentially, the court said, the phrase required states to respect only privileges flowing from federal citizenship.

In recent years, however, some activists and legal scholars have called for the Supreme Court to reinvigorate the Privileges or Immunities Clause and at least two members of the court seem to have been listening.

In 2010, citing the due process clause, the Supreme Court in an by Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. ruled that the 2nd Amendments right to keep and bear arms applied to the states. Thomas concurred in the result, but wrote a separate opinion suggesting that a more straightforward path to that result would be a holding that the right to bear arms was incorporated through the privileges or immunities clause.

In Wednesdays forfeiture case, Thomas again wrote separately and again promoted the alternative route of incorporation through the privileges or immunities clause. But a second justice also sort of joined the chorus. Although he signed Ginsburgs opinion, Gorsuch, a Trump appointee, wrote separately that as an original matter the appropriate vehicle for incorporation may well be the 14th Amendments Privileges or Immunities Clause, rather than, as this court has long assumed, the Due Process Clause.

What difference does it make which clause the court cites so long as it rules that states as well as the federal government are bound by the Bill of Rights?

Heres why a comeback for the privileges or immunities clause could have real significance:

The court has used the due process clause to apply the Bill of Rights to the states and also to protect the right of personal privacy a right the court said in is broad enough to encompass a womans decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy . But since the 1930s it hasnt been sympathetic to claims that economic regulations violate due process, upholding those that pass a rational basis test.

Some who argue that the court should reinvigorate the privileges or immunities clause see the clause as doing more than incorporating the Bill of Rights. They also see it as a way to protect economic rights such as the right to without the burden of state licensing requirements. The Supreme Court ruling on excessive fines has an Easter egg for libertarians Los Angeles Times

Coming to the relief of victims of over policing and following the advice of the Los Angeles Times the Supreme Court unanimously Wednesday that the 8th Amendments ban on excessive fines applies to the states as well as the federal government. It joins most other guarantees in the Bill of Rights that have been incorporated against the states through the 14th Amendment that was added to the Constitution after the Civil War.

The court sided on that constitutional question with Tyson Timbs, an Indiana man whose dollar 42,000 Land Rover SUV was seized in a civil forfeiture action after he pleaded guilty to selling worth of heroin to undercover police officers. The state said the SUV had been used to transport heroin.

Although the purchase price of the vehicle was more than four times the maximum dollar 10,000 fine assessed against Timbs for his drug conviction, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that it didnt violate the 8th Amendment because that amendments ban on excessive fines didnt apply to state action.

The U.S. Supreme Court rightly reversed that decision. Writing for the majority, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg concluded that the ban on excessive fines qualified as one of the protections that must apply to the states because it is fundamental to our scheme of ordered liberty and deeply rooted in this nations history and tradition.

All nine justices agreed that the ban on excessive fines was extended to the states through the 14th Amendment. But two justices Neil Gorsuch, who joined Ginsburgs majority opinion, and Clarence Thomas, who didnt raised a question that captivated legal nerds as soon as the decision came down:

Exactly which language in the 14th Amendment does the work of incorporating the 8th Amendments ban on excessive fines against the states? This might seem like a dry technical question, but it has important political and policy implications, especially for libertarians who believe the Supreme Court should be more aggressive in protecting economic rights.

Section 1 of the 14th Amendment says:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Typically when the Supreme Court has incorporated one of the amendments in the Bill of Rights against the states, it has focused on the language in the 14th Amendment about depriving people of liberty without due process of law. It has fastened on the same language in protecting unenumerated rights such as sexual privacy.

In her majority opinion, Ginsburg wrote: With only a handful of exceptions, this court has held that the 14th Amendments Due Process Clause incorporates the protections contained in the Bill of Rights, rendering them applicable to the states.

But due process of law seems an odd phrase to pluck out for incorporation purposes, partly because its about legal process, not substantial rights. The Supreme Court in employing it has had to make use of a mind boggling concept called which implies that some rights are so fundamental that there is no fair process that could result in their deprivation.

To the ordinary reader, another phrase in Section 1 of the the command that no state shall make a law abridging the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States seems a better fit.

But theres a problem: In 1873, in the so called Slaughterhouse Cases, the Supreme Court defined the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States extremely narrowly. Essentially, the court said, the phrase required states to respect only privileges flowing from federal citizenship.

In recent years, however, some activists and legal scholars have called for the Supreme Court to reinvigorate the Privileges or Immunities Clause and at least two members of the court seem to have been listening.

In 2010, citing the due process clause, the Supreme Court in an by Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. ruled that the 2nd Amendments right to keep and bear arms applied to the states. Thomas concurred in the result, but wrote a separate opinion suggesting that a more straightforward path to that result would be a holding that the right to bear arms was incorporated through the privileges or immunities clause.

In Wednesdays forfeiture case, Thomas again wrote separately and again promoted the alternative route of incorporation through the privileges or immunities clause. But a second justice also sort of joined the chorus. Although he signed Ginsburgs opinion, Gorsuch, a Trump appointee, wrote separately that as an original matter the appropriate vehicle for incorporation may well be the 14th Amendments Privileges or Immunities Clause, rather than, as this court has long assumed, the Due Process Clause.

What difference does it make which clause the court cites so long as it rules that states as well as the federal government are bound by the Bill of Rights?

Heres why a comeback for the privileges or immunities clause could have real significance:

The court has used the due process clause to apply the Bill of Rights to the states and also to protect the right of personal privacy a right the court said in is broad enough to encompass a womans decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy . But since the 1930s it hasnt been sympathetic to claims that economic regulations violate due process, upholding those that pass a rational basis test.

Some who argue that the court should reinvigorate the privileges or immunities clause see the clause as doing more than incorporating the Bill of Rights. They also see it as a way to protect economic rights such as the right to without the burden of state licensing requirements.
