Waching daily Feb 2 2019

Hi guys it's Debbie and today I'd like to speak about "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse",

the latest movie featuring our hero Spidey, but in an entirely new way.

Please remember if you want to get some cool, Spider-Man inspired merch, check

the link for Pampling in the description box down below and use the code provided

to get a discount on all of the merch, which also includes posters, bags,

sweets and so much more such as the T-shirt I am wearing today. Now back to

the film. "Into the Spider-Verse" is an imaginative journey into a world

in which multiple realities coexist, there are alternate universes and so

also various versions of Spider-Man and other characters, hence the title

"Spider-Verse". The first character we meet and the protagonist of the story is

Miles Morales, a teenager from Brooklyn who ends up meeting Peter Parker (Spider-Man).

Peter Parker becomes Miles's mentor and as a portal which connects different

dimensions has been opened, more and more characters such as Gwen Stacy, Spider-Ham,

Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker appear in Miles's world. This unlikely team joins

forces to defeat their enemies while also having to deal with the reality of

being in a different universe from their own and with their features, which at

times can be... odd. tìThe beauty of this film mainly consists in how the story was

built around animation, so everything you see resembles a page of a comic book,

with streaks appearing when there are certain movements, during the transitions,

along with the actual depiction of the characters who are not portrayed through

life like drawings but rather with bolder features, which remind us of a

comic strip. The overall animation is so incredibly detailed that wherever you

are looking on screen there is always something going on in the background,

there are countless details which make the viewing experience more engaging.

Although this rendition may sound as a tiring vision, an element of distraction,

it turns out to be on the contrary as a fantastic background which does not

distract from the story itself, while still keeping it dynamic. I also believe

that the plot, let's say that comprehensive concept

was conceived in order to be open to a widespread audience. This film is

essentially clean, it has an upbeat and colourful animation, there's not an excess

of intense dialogues, it teaches wholesome concepts so it appeals

to young audiences. But at the same time it also embraces the older viewing

community because "Into the Spider-Verse" is well-written, it engages the viewers

from beginning to end, it has references to the Spider-Man history, the characters

convey comedy but also know how to make fun of themselves. I think we often

automatically like (or want to like) darker topics, more adult "negative"

themes because it makes us... I guess.... feel more responsible. It's as if

we enjoy cradling our sadness and taking on the weight of the world. This is why

people become shy when it comes to talking about subjects topics society

has labelled as childish. It's as if we should always wear this mask of

toughness. But in the end we really take pleasure in enjoying the cheerfulness of

films such as "Into the Spider-Verse" which comfort the audience with their happy

themes, while still covering topics adults can relate to. This has happened

with "Wall-E", "The Iron Giant", "The Incredibles", even with TV series

such as "Stranger Things". There was an interesting article about this on

IndieWire, I believe last year, in which it showed how society nowadays is eager

to watch nice wholesome cheerful content (they included the example of "Paddington 2")

because we're looking for an escape from the negativity that surrounds us. If

you listen to the news or just scroll through any feed on your phone you'll

see countless articles which convey feelings of the fear, of sadness, they

cover the topic of death. And as adults we have to deal with these problems, it

it's our responsibility. But when we do have time to relax Peter Parker showing us

how he's been eating too much pizza and not working out really makes us grin.

Another reason why "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" was so successful was just

how innovative it was. If we were to take into consideration the general film

watching population, most people are probably not aware of

the existence of 10 Spider-Man films released in the last 15 years. They will

not be able to tell what the Spider-Man movies have been covering lately, how

stories evolving, let alone the titles. Most people remember the older 2000s

Spider-Man with Tobey Maguire, then they are aware there was Andrew Garfield at

some point and now it is all different. This is because there have been so many

different Spider-Man films that it has been hard for people to keep up with

them. On the one hand this intense production surrounding Spider-Man relies

on the affection viewers have for the character. There is a huge and successful

world built around this hero. On the other hand I think some people have been

reluctant to keep up with the latest films because they skipped some of the

previous ones. It may feel to them like watching a Harry Potter film without

seeing all the previous chapters. "Into the Spider-Verse"

also assumes that we have a basic knowledge of Spider-Man but then it

offers a completely new take on it, it is a different approach compared to all the

other Spider-Man films released around the same time. Something

refreshing which keeps audiences curious and gets them going to watch it. So overall

the features I enjoyed most of this film come together in how unpredictable the

whole concept was making it so refreshing and interesting. I would

definitely recommend it to all audiences. Have you seen "Spider-Man: Into the

Spider-Verse" yet? Leave a comment down below with your thoughts if you've seen

it or what you expect if you haven't seen it yet! I hope you enjoyed this

video, if you did make sure to subscribe and I'll see you soon, bye!

A New Base for the Sawmill - HM130 - Duration: 8:48.

Hey guys! So today we are working on a new base for the sawmill.

As you can see, currently the sawmill is sitting on ciderblocks.

And that's okay for a sorta temporary solution for this to keep it off the ground a little bit.

But, I'm having some issues with, I think it would be frost heave.

Which is where when the ground heats and cools, it expands and contracts.

And it's throwing it off level.

macOS Mojave Z370 Hackintosh Build for Music Production - Duration: 9:08.

One of my friends asked me, if I can build a Hackintosh for him, for music creation and

production.

So I said, yeah, no problem man :)

I'm Teresa from morgonaut.cloud and I help people to

save money on their Hackintosh build.

I help them simply to build a perfect Hackintosh without pain.

If you are new here, then please click that subscribe button and hit the bell next to

it, so you won't miss any of my future videos.

So my friend's goal was to have silent machine but powerful enough, so it can handle lot

of plugins and virtual instruments in Logic Pro X.

He had also little bit tight budget.

So I prepared for him list of new components he should buy.

Choosing the correct motherboard is the crucial and most important part of building a Hackintosh.

I used many times for Hackintosh builds the Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 motherboard with

which I had the best experience and is greatly compatible, but lot of people reported to

me, they can't find this board anymore in their local stores.

So I decided this time to choose some motherboard which is still available on the market.

I've found this - Asus Prime Z370-A motherboard to be as good motherboard for Hackintosh as

my Gigabyte board.

It was really very easy to tweak all things on it.

I would definately had harder time to install Linux on this build then macOS Mojave Hackintosh :)

CPU of my choice was Intel Core i5-8400 which is nicely underpriced these days

it has 6 cores and about 70% of performance of my Intel Core i7-8700k.

For memory I chose Hyper X Predator 32 GB of 3000 MHz CL15 and for fast storage I chose

500 GB Samsung 970 EVO NVMe disk.

And of course 700W power supply and case.

Total price was $860.

Installation of macOS Mojave on this Hackintosh itself was a breeze, took about just 30 minutes.

BTW I created two Clover configurations for this build, first one for use with only integrated

GPU - the Intel HD630, but because my friend lately changed his mind and wanted also dedicated

GPU, I created also second Clover configuration for use with AMD RX 560 I recommended to him.

It's the cheapest natively supported AMD GPU in macOS.

Both Clover folders, already tweaked and ready to go including USB fixes you can download

from my site, link is now in this video description.

You may ask what exact steps I've done to finish successfuly the installation.

Because I want all my Hackintosh builds to be as clean as possible, I went for the Vanilla

installation method.

Vanilla Hackintosh is the best you can do.

If you would need any help with your build, you can at any time get my personal individual

support on my Patreon, link is again - in this video description.

All necessary steps how to build a vanilla Hackintosh I described already step by step

in my video tutorial, so it would be waste of time to show it again.

Link to this tutorial called "Build a Perfect Hackintosh - Beginners Tutorial" is also

now in this video description.

So now just briefly.

I downloaded latest macOS Mojave 10.14.3 directly from the Apple App Store.

Then I created USB 2 installer flash disk with it.

Then I installed Clover Bootloader onto it - again you can find how to do it in the same

video tutorial.

I have already lot of modified and tweaked Clover folders so I just used one for Coffee

Lake which you can download yourself on the link under that same video tutorial, I just

tweaked it little bit to suit this configuration.

As I said this Hackintosh was completely installed and running in about 30 minutes.

Fix for USB ports took about 10 minutes.

One of the most important things to tweak in Hackintosh is to get full encoding acceleration.

For people interested in video editing and rendering this feature called Intel QuickSync

massively reduces the encoding and render times.

So as you can see here, H.264 and H.265 or HEVC is fully supported and enabled with only

integrated iGPU.

And now let's do the same proof with the RX 560.

The integrated GPU is in this configuration in so called headless mode, just helping the

main GPU the RX 560 with acceleration.

So again, both encodings are enabled.

I'm not a big fan of synthetic benchmarks, I prefer comparison in real world tasks, but

people ask for it, so I included Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, Cinebench and Geekbench scores.

So let's have a look at them now.

Look at the read speed, just 1600 MB per second, but it should be around 3000 MB per second.

The Optimized Defaults in this Asus BIOS sets as default speed for the NVMe PCIe lane only

for x2 speed, so to get full 3000 MB per second read speed just change it to x4.

Easy.

Now let's have a look at Geekbench.

I will fast forward it for you, so you don't need to wait.

Single score 5679 and multi-core score 23353.

Very nice score.

Now let's have look at Cinebench.

968 points.

So after about a week of experience with this Hackintosh build my friend is now totally

happy guy :) Yeah, that's him, that's Jacob.

So how is your Hackintosh?

HackintoshX$%^%$#$# :)

So after about a week of personal experience with this Hackintosh

my friend is now totally happy guy :) Yeah, that's him, that's Jacob.

So Jacob, how is your Hackintosh?

Hackintosh is perfectosh.

Works like a charm, really stable and fast.

Did you tried already to load some massive ammount of tracks and plugins?

Yeah I did, some of them, I do some demoes in the Garage Band on iPad and stuff and now

it turns into Logic easily, no problems.

And the Logic by itself runs really stable, fast, smoothly, perfect.

So how much money totally I saved you on this Hackintosh build?

Actually I think it's about two maybe three thousands of Dollars if I buy iMac or something

like that to work the same.

Thanks.

So if you want to have also such a great Hackintosh just buy those components listed in this video

description, download my already prepared and tweaked Clover folder, copy it to your

disk and you're good to go.

You can of course choose Intel Core i3 instead the i5, or i7, or slower and cheaper memory

if you want.

Your Hackintosh will be running as great as you could see in this video and you don't

need to know quite anything about how to tweak and fix all necessary things in Hackintosh.

But still as I said, if you would eventually have some hard time to tweak something, you

can at any time get my personal individual support on my Patreon, link is in this video

description.

So I hope you've found this video useful, if so, please click on the like button bellow.

Watch also my other tutorials.

Subscribe to my channel and hit the bell next to it, so you won't miss any of my future

videos.

You can also join my Hackintosh and Macintosh groups on Facebook, Reddit or my website,

links - again - are now in this video description.

So that's all for today, thank you for watching and see you next time my Hackintosh friends.

OK, so now the questions up to you.

So how is your father after he got his new Hackintosh.

Little bit stupid.

Oh, you got it.

Sorry, that's reality, that's life.

These Two Men Turned Their Van Into A Mobile Laundromat For The Homeless - Duration: 1:59.

Two 20-year-old-men Lucas Patchett and Nicholas Marchesi wanted to make a huge impact on their

community.

They had a vision to "restore respect, raise health standards, and reduce strain on resources".

They created a non-profit organization that all started with purchasing a van.

This van was no ordinary van at all.

This idea is rapidly growing attention and momentum around Brisbane.

These two had a vision that was going to require getting their hands dirty and retrofitting

a van to suit their needs.

They started by adding walls and a heavy-duty electrical system.

With the walls in place and the electrical system wired, Lucas assembled a heavy-duty

platform.

It was time to paint.

They had only one option, orange.

The name of the non-profit they created was Orange Sky Laundry.

The interior of the van was complete and came out perfect.

With the interior of the van completed, it was time to install some brand new, top of

the line washers and dryers.

Two washers were installed with chemical pumps to expel the waste water and supply detergents.

They added a painted orange tow hook that would tow a generator providing power for

everything.

The two have one mission.

They want to offer a free laundry service to all of Australias homeless population.

They are teaming up with local food trucks that are offering a bite to eat for free while

the less fortunate have their belongings washed.

Anything from blankets to shoes.

The two have officially been washing clothes on the streets of Brisbane for just over a

month now and are working towards expanding into every city in Australia.

I hope you enjoyed watching the video.
