'This is what it's like to FaceTime Meghan' Markle snapped with red wine

And before catapulting to fame as Mrs Prince Harry to be, Meghan Markle had a penchant for chatting online like the rest of us mere mortals.

Megs not only had a Twitter and Instagram account, but also a blog called The Tigs which she closed down while on the brink of becoming a full-time member of the Royal family.

And it seems Meghan, 36, was also a fan of the FaceTime app.

Back in June 2016, pal Janina Gavankar tweeted an image of the former Suits actress mid-chat.

Alongside a screenshot of Meghan sipping wine, Janina wrote: "This is what it's like to FaceTime @MeghanMarkle.".

The snap, currently still online, managed a modest 23 retweets and 166 favourites, which would no doubt pale in comparison to if it was shared now.

Speaking about her love of Meghan to Good Morning America, Janina, 37, revealed they would hit up FaceTime due to the geographical distance between her in LA and Meg in Canada.

She said: "When I met her, she was so effervescent and talented and clearly brilliant.

Shes just such a magnetic person.

"Shell make you crack up.

Meghan is hilarious.

She is incredibly blunt." While it is unknown if True Blood actress Janina will be on the front row this Saturday, it has been confirmed that Meghan's Suits cast mates have received invites to the wedding.

A source previously told Hello! magazine: "The [Suits] cast has been contacted in regards to invites from Kensington Palace.".

"Shell make you crack up.

Once the guests have been ushered inside St George's Chapel, the Royals are set to arrive by 11.20am with groom Harry and best man Prince William making their entrance half an hour later.

The Queen is scheduled for 11.55am, with Meghan at 11.59am, and the service starting at midday.

Following this, Harry and Meghan will be driven along for a 15-minute procession before a private reception begins followed by an after-party hosted at Frogmore House.

This week, the pre-wedding plans have unfolded in somewhat of a soap opera manner.

Most notably, Meghan's father Thomas Markle – who was set to walk his daughter down the aisle – bowed out after he was caught conspiring with paparazzi to stage fake photos.

His health has also been under the microscope having undergone heart surgery, meaning he is not fit to travel.

After much speculation, today Meghan released a statement via Kensington Palace stating: Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding.

I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.

I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support.

She added: Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.

It is reported that Meghan's mother Doria Ragland will be the one to give her away instead.
