Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a bid to seal the transfer of Nice striker Mario Balotelli
in the coming months, along with a number of other top clubs.
Today's front page of Gazzetta dello Sport shows Balotelli being linked as a target for
the likes of the Gunners, as well as Borussia Dortmund and Marseille.
Balotelli has impressed in his time in Ligue 1, scoring 43 goals in all competitions in
the last two seasons after a disastrous spell in England with Liverpool.
The Italy international looked a decent prospect at Manchester City earlier in his career,
and continued to score at a decent rate at AC Milan before his move to Anfield.
Balotelli could prove a major gamble now, however, even if he has recovered from his
nightmare at Liverpool with a decent scoring record for Nice.
Additional information from the Metro states the 27-year-old would be available for just
£9million this summer, which seems a reasonable fee given his talent but the risks that come
with signing him.
Arsenal already have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette up front, however,
so it's unclear if another forward would be a priority for the club at this time.

A jury has ruled that David Copperfield was negligent but not responsible for a British tourists injuries when he tripped and fell while taking part in one of the magicians vanishing acts in Las Vegas.
Gavin Cox, 57, had filed a lawsuit alleging negligence by Copperfield and the MGM Grand hotel after saying he suffered brain and body injuries when he fell during one of Copperfields acts in 2013.
In a complex verdict reached after several weeks of testimony, the jury ruled on Tuesday that Cox was 100 percent responsible for his own injuries.
While jurors did find Copperfield and others named in the suit to be negligent, they found no liability. The verdict means Cox and his wife Minh-Hahn Cox, who are from Kent, England, cannot seek monetary damages.
Cox had testified that he was injured when stagehands urged him and others to run during an illusion that appeared to make as many as 13 audience volunteers disappear onstage and reappear moments later, waving flashlights in the back of the theater.
His lawyer, Benedict Morelli, told jurors during closing arguments that the trick was inherently dangerous, and that Copperfield should be held partially liable for Coxs injuries. Four years ago, attorneys estimated that Cox had racked up more than $400,000 in medical costs.
Copperfields lawyers lost a bid to close the courtroom to the public to prevent disclosure of secrets about the illusion. The magician was forced to give the jury a play-by-play of how his magic show happens.
At least 55,000 audience volunteers had taken part in the trick over 17 years, according to Copperfield and show executive producer Chris Kenner.
Jurors learned that in about 60 to 90 seconds, stagehands with flashlights ushered the randomly chosen participants past dark curtains, down passageways, around corners, outdoors, indoors and through an MGM Grand resort kitchen to re-enter the theater for the shows finale.
I was having a good time up until the time I was injured, Cox testified. He recalled stagehands shouting Run! Run! Run! through an outdoor alleyway that his lawyers say was coated with construction dust.
Cox, who is a former chef, said he fell hard on his right side and didnt remember getting up to finish the illusion in November 2013.
Afterward, Cox said he received medical treatment from paramedics and at a hospital for shoulder and other injuries. Two day later, he and his wife and a lawyer returned to the theater at the MGM Grand and filed an accident report.
Copperfield testified that until Cox sued in August 2014, he never knew of anyone getting hurt during nearly 20 years performing the illusion on tour and in Las Vegas. He said he stopped performing it in 2015.
The magician said he didnt see construction dust on the ground when he passed through the same outdoor alley alone as part of another illusion about 10 minutes earlier.
Coxs lawyers brought in three women who testified that they also were injured during the illusion over the years, including a Michigan schoolteacher who said she fell but finished with a bloody knee during a Copperfield performance about five months before Coxs fall.

Parmanu Movie Review: Don't Watch This For Anyone, Watch It For Your Country! - Duration: 11:02.
Parmanu Movie Review: Don't Watch This For Anyone, Watch It For Your Country!
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Movie Review Rating: 4/5 Stars (Four stars).
What's Good: It avoids the path of being jingoistic and serves a real event adding a touch of cinematic experience.
John Abraham lives this role to the fullest, offers enough nail-biting sequences which are expected from a movie of this genre.
What's Bad: Bads in the movie are not outrightly bad, there are few flaws which can be ignored given the message this story has to narrate.
Loo Break: None! There are very important scenes throughout the film and you don't want to break the link while hearing such an interesting story.
Watch or Not?: Definitely! It'll surpass your expectations, keep it however high you want.
User Rating:.
The movie starts with a nonsensical discussion happening in the Prime Minister's Office regarding how China has tested 43 of its nuclear bombs.
Ashwat Rana (John Abraham), a junior bureaucrat, comes up with a full proof plan in a floppy (Yes, it was 90's) but gets unheard by the ministers.
He's asked to make a brief report and without his involvement, the plan is conducted and it fails miserably.
He's used as a scapegoat and gets terminated for this failure.
A broken Ashwat, continues his life as a Civil Service tuition teacher until Himanshu Shukla, principle secretary to the Prime Minister, asks to resume his plan that failed years ago.
This mission becomes a way for Ashwat to prove his love for the country.
He builds up his dream team to test multiple nuclear bombs in Pokhran, Rajasthan.
But to do this without getting in the eyes of American satellites is what the rest of story revolves around.
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Review: Script Analysis.
The Neerja duo of Saiwyn Quadras and Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh is back as they pen a balanced script for this one too.
With the proper amount of patriotism, emotions, humour and thrill, the script of this film is a winner.
To be honest the movie starts with mockery and a dramatic speech and I was turned off in the first ten minutes, but it flies since then achieving nothing but respect.
There are sequences which needed scissoring and pace could've been even more tight.
The entire Mussoorie sequence builds John's relationship with his wife but that could've been shorter.
Also, Abhishek take cinematic liberties at places but that's totally fine as the movie keeps you entertained throughout.
The movie, more than being a national mission, is about the efforts of a team who refused to give up.
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Review: Star Performance.
John Abraham is perfect! He's subtle when it's required and charming when the proceedings get too intense.
The efforts were visible and he delivers a memorable performance.
He maintains his balance to not cross the line between patriotism and jingoism.
Boman Irani is decent! He takes the cake in some scenes, but overall has a limited presence.
Yes, even in such short screen-time, he makes you laugh and love him.
Diana Penty is good, too, and has a seeti-maar scene in the climax.
She looks beautiful as always!.
The rest of the team plays a very important part and each character does their part well.
Yogendra Tiku shines and brings in the comic relief.
Anuja Sathe's character is half baked and of very less importance.
She's just about okay and should've gotten a meatier presence.
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Review: Direction, Music.
Abhishek Sharma has managed to pull off a shocker with Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran.
He succeeds in making you bite your nails till the end.
The entire 'blind spot' timing sequences of satellites have been executed so well.
As the story builds up, one just tends to think how much this tale had to offer.
It also makes you wonder how the story would've unfolded in real life.
There are too many songs in the film, some are used well, some are just for the sake of it.
Jeet Gannguli and Sachin-Jigar go all out with the songs and partially succeed.
Singer Divya Kumar has an important contribution towards passion the script builds.
It's good to see veteran Sandeep Chowta composing the background score for such an important film.
The BGM has the required tingle which such story demands.
Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran Review: The Last Word.
All said and done, some movies serve more than just entertainment and Parmanu provides an experience that will linger in your soul for a long time post you leave the cinema hall.
Don't watch this for anyone, watch it for your country.

FOOD FORESTS COULD BRING HEALTHY ORGANIC FOOD TO EVERYONE FOR FREE - Duration: 7:18.
FOOD FORESTS COULD BRING HEALTHY ORGANIC FOOD TO EVERYONE FOR FREE
BY ANDREW MARTIN
Food forests or Forest gardening have been around for a long time with many of the native
cultures practicing this form of sustainable agriculture.
It is a form of low-maintenance plant-based food production which replicates natural ecosystems,
incorporating fruit and nut trees, shrubs, herbs, running vines and perennial vegetables.
Beneficial plants and companion planting is a big part of the food forest system.
Unlike much of the modern industrial agricultural system which relies heavily of inputs such
as fossil fuels and artificial herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers, a food forest
once established is self-regulating and highly abundant in yield.
Why Food Forests?
Forests are home to approximately 50-90% of all the worlds terrestrial (land-living)
biodiversity including the pollinators and wild relatives of many agricultural crops
(Source: WWF Living Planet Report 2010) Tropical forests alone are estimated to contain
between 10-50 million species over 50% of species on the planet.
Rainforests cover 2% of the Earths surface and 6% of its land mass, yet they are home
to over half of the worlds plant and animal species.
It is evident that forests themselves are synonymous with life, biodiversity and fertility.
Where life gathers, complex and mutually beneficial relationships are created between organisms;
natural harmonious communities form, and life forms multiply and proliferate.
If forests are where most of the life on the planet is, then anything less than a forest
is most likely less suited to supporting life.
Life supports life, yet we have forgotten that we are in fact part of the web of life
itself, and depend on other life to sustain ours.(1)
forestgardenlayers
Unfortunately society has been conditioned to clear the land and create unsustainable
fields which need high inputs to be maintained.
Food forests are abundant and can yield significantly more than the conventional farming and mono
cropping that dominates much of the industrial landscape today.
As well as being high yielding food forests are high in biodiversity and life.
Food forests can be developed and grown in most climate zones and because they involve
vertical stacking are great for suburban and urban areas.
Check out this clip to see how a couple have transformed a traditional suburban landscape
into a highly productive forest garden.
The Layers Of A Food Forest 1.
Canopy or Tall Tree Layer Typically over 30 feet (~9 meters) high.
This layer is for larger Forest Gardens.
Timber trees, large nut trees and nitrogen-fixing trees are the typical trees in this category.
There are a number of larger fruiting trees that can be used here as well depending on
the species, varieties and rootstocks used.
2.
Sub-Canopy/Large Shrub Layer Typically 10-30 feet (3-9 meters) high.
In most Forest Gardens, or at least those with limited space, these plants often make
up the acting Canopy layer.
The majority of fruit trees fall into this layer.
3.
Shrub Layer Typically up to 10 feet (3 meters) high.
The majority of fruiting bushes fall into this layer.
Includes many nut, flowering, medicinal and other beneficial plants as well.
4.
Herbaceous Layer Plants in this layer die back to the ground
every winter if winters are cold enough, that is.
They do not produce woody stems as the Shrub layer does.
Many cullinary and medicinal herbs are in this layer.
A large variety of other beneficial plants fall into this layer.
5.
Groundcover/Creeper Layer There is some overlap with the Herbaceous
layer and the Groundcover layer; however plants in this layer are often shade tolerant, grow
much closer to the ground, grow densely to fill bare patches of soil, and often can tolerate
some foot traffic.
6.
Underground Layer These are root crops.
There are an amazing variety of edible roots that most people have never heard of.
Many of these plants can be utilized in the Herbaceous Layer, the Vining/Climbing Layer,
and the Groundcover/Creeper Layer.
7.
Vertical/Climber Layer These vining and climbing plants span multiple
layers depending on how they are trained or what they climb all on their own.
They are a great way to add more productivity to a small space, but be warned.
Trying to pick grapes that have climbed up a 60 foot Walnut Tree can be interesting to
say the least.
8.
Aquatic/Wetland Layer This is my first new layer to the Forest Garden.
Some will say that a forest doesnt grow in the water, so this layer is inappropriate
for the Forest Garden.
I disagree.
Many forests have streams flowing through or ponds in the center.
There are a whole host of plants that thrive in wetlands or at the waters edge.
There are many plants that grow only in water.
To ignore this large list of plants is to leave out many useful species that provide
food, fiber, medicinals, animal feed, wildlife food and habitat, compost, biomass, and maybe
most important, water filtration through bioremediation (or phytoremediation).
We are intentionally designing Forest Gardens which incorporate water features, and it is
time we add the Aquatic/Wetland Layer to the lexicon.
9.
Mycelial/Fungal Layer This is my second new layer to the Forest
Garden.
Fungal networks live in healthy soils.
They will live on, and even within, the roots of plants in the Forest Garden.
This underground fungal network transports nutrients and moisture from one area of the
forest to another depending on the needs of the plants.
It is an amazing system which we are only just beginning to comprehend.
As more and more research is being conducted on how mycelium help build and maintain forests,
it is shocking that this layer has not yet been added to the list.
In addition to the vital work this layer contributes to developing and maintaining the forest,
it will even provide mushrooms from time to time that we can utilize for food and medicine.
If we are more proactive, we can cultivate this layer intentionally and dramatically
increase our harvest.

West Ham demand £50million for Manchester United transfer target Marko Arnautovic - Duration: 2:08.
West Ham demand £50million for Manchester United transfer target Marko Arnautovic
The Red Devils were linked with a surprise transfer move for the West Ham forward this summer after Arnautovic put in a solid campaign for the Hammers.
West Ham battled relegation for most of the season, but Arnautovic's eleven goals and six assist were key to ensuring Premier League survival.
The London club paid a club-record £25 million for Arnautovic last summer and will only sell the Austrian if they can make a significant profit.
Sky Sports claim West Ham value Arnautovic at £50 million and that Jose Mourinho holds a serious interest in the left winger.
Arnautovic played across the forward line this season for West Ham and even occupied a central striker role.
The 29-year-old has a wealth of Premier League experience after four seasons at Stoke before making the move to London last year.
Arnautovic has four years left on the deal he signed 12 months ago and West Ham are under no pressure to sell the star forward.
Mourinho is on the look-out for versatile forwards this summer, but will not be expected to spend big on any attackers.
The United boss will focus much of his transfer funds on strengthening his backline.
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld is thought to be in talks over a switch to Old Trafford, while United are closing in on Porto full-back Diogo Dalot.
United activated Dalot's release clause and an announcement is expected before the end of the week.

Trump signs bill for terminal patients to try unproven drugs
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has signed legislation that would help people with deadly diseases try experimental treatments.
Trump signed the Right to Try bill on Wednesday.
He called it a fundamental freedom that will provide hope and save lives.
The bill cleared the House last week following an emotional debate in which Republicans said it would help thousands of people in search of hope.
Many Democrats said the measure was dangerous and would give patients false hope.
Trump embraced the plan during his State of the Union address, saying people who are terminally ill shouldnt have to leave the country to seek cures.
The measure gives people diagnosed with life-threatening conditions who have exhausted treatment options access to unproven drugs without needing permission from the Food and Drug Administration.

France squad take a break from World Cup preparations for photographs - Health tips - Duration: 3:43.
France squad take a break from World Cup preparations for photographs
France's World Cup preparations are well and truly underway as the squad enjoyed a day of official photography and also got a feel for their official tournament suit.
It all began to feel very real for some of the members of the French squad not so accustomed to major tournament football, as they took some time out of training on Wednesday at their Clairefontaine base to pose for photographs.
The likes of Benjamin Mendy and Thomas Lemar would have been beaming with joy and excitement as they look ahead to their first World Cup, with Kylian Mbappe another who will be watched with great anticipation in Russia.
The remainder of the French squad definitely looked the part as they got their measurements done for their suits, which are designed by Francesco Smalto.
Pictures emerged on the official France Football Federation Twitter page, with one post reading: 'The official photo of the @equipedefrance for the 2018 World Cup! #FiersdetreBleus'.
'Squad goals,' Manchester City defender Mendy wrote on Instagram.
Paul Pogba, Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann, three players who Didier Deschamps will be heavily reliant on in Russia, led by example as they enjoyed the photography session, taking their place on the front row in the formal team photo.
Head coach Deschamps appeared his usual relaxed self as he posed for pictures with his backroom staff.
However, his World Cup preparations have been far from comfortable, being forced to leave out a number of high-profile stars.
Therefore those in attendance were permitted a moment to bare a smile after a tough selection process.
And while the French players looked the part on Wednesday, they have been replicating that same image on the pitch with their recent 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland on Monday night testament to that.
Olivier Giroud, who was as cool a customer on the pitch as he was at the official photo shoot, scoring the opener at the Stade de France before Nabil Fekir added the second on the stroke of half-time.
Looking the part is all well and good, but Deschamps will be urging his players to continue their strong form heading into the tournament in Russia in just over two weeks' time.
The French will not have forgotten their unfortunate exit on home soil at the Euros two years ago and will be keen to avenge their defeat in the final by Portugal.
Given the wealth of talent Deschamps takes to Russia with him, they will enter the tournament as one of the favourites for glory.
Not just that, they will arrive one of the best-dressed outfits, too.

Natural Remedies for Nosebleeds - Duration: 6:13.
Natural Remedies for Nosebleeds
Nosebleeds, also known as nasal hemorrhages and medically as , is a common condition that can appear at the worst times.
The bleeding can be really alarming, especially since a small amount of blood can seem like a lot more.
Although this symptom is alarming to most people, its rarely a sign of anything serious, as its almost always caused by injuries, nasal allergies or other problems that affect the blood vessels lining the nose.
Keep reading to discover a few natural remedies for nosebleeds.
What are some of the common causes of nosebleeds?.
Nasal hemorrhages can appear when the mucous membrane of the nose dries and hardens, causing the cracking that leads to bleeding.
This same condition is really common in those taking blood thinners and the elderly, whose blood takes longer to clot.
Other common causes of nosebleeds include:.
Sinusitis. Blowing the nose too hard.
Injury to the nose. Low humidity.
Nasal allergies. High altitudes.
Drug use. Calcium deficiency.
Hypertension.
How do you stop nosebleeds?.
One of the first things you should do while suffering from a nosebleed is to sit upright and lean forward.
The upright position reduces the pressure on the veins, while bending forward keeps the blood from flowing down the throat.
You can also follow these recommendations:.
Salt water: Make a saline solution by mixing a pinch of salt in a glass of water, then inject it into the nasal cavity with the help of a bulb syringe.
Lemon: Place one or two drops in the affected nostril.
Vinegar: Another good solution involves soaking a piece of sterile gauze in vinegar, which is placed in the nose for 10 minutes.
Cold cloth: Place a cold cloth on the end of the nose.
This remedy will help to contract the blood vessels and stop the blood flow.
Ice: Applying ice is also an effective way to stop the bleeding.
Simply apply ice to the nose for a few minutes.
Moist towel: Putting a moist towel on the head can help rapidly slow the bleeding.
Blow your nose: Gently blow your nose to expel any blood clots that may be hindering normal flow.
Tips to avoid nosebleeds.
Obviously theres nothing better than prevention to avoid the embarrassing and annoying problem of nosebleeds.
Here are some tips that can help prevent this problem:.
If you suffer from nosebleeds or have in the past, drink 8 glasses of water a day.
This will help to keep the nasal passages moist.
Avoid excessive use of air conditioning.
Air conditioners dry the natural air which can make nosebleeds more likely.
Rub the inside of the nose with a little petroleum jelly or spray with saline solution.
This will help keep the nasal passages moist, especially when suffering from sinusitis or a cold.
Avoid blowing your nose too hard.
Apply a little vitamin E to the inside of the nose to keep it moist.
Simply dab a little of the oil with a cotton ball and insert it into the nostrils.
Increase your vitamin C consumption, which is vital for strengthening the capillary walls.
Its also an important component of collagen, a substance that gives the inside of your nose a moist, protective coating.
When to seek medical attention.
Nosebleeds are rarely a sign of something wrong.
However, when they occur frequently and without explanation, its really important to consult your doctor to dismiss any major health problems, like leukemia or a blood disorder.
You should also seek immediate medical attention if the bleeding lasts for 20 or more minutes, if theres a lot of blood loss, or if its caused by a blow or injury.

Advocating for Illegal Immigrants with Work Comp Claims - Duration: 1:53.
So, this is another area of the law that's somewhat controversial.
Whether or not you have documentation to be in this country, or whether you just came
in undocumented, the law applies to you.
And this happens a lot.
There are a lot of people working in this country with no visa, or the visa has expired.
In my experience, there aren't that many people who just walk over the border without any
documentation.
It happens, but often, they come here legally through a legal entry, and they overstay their
visa, or they never had a visa, they had a passport, or whatever.
But that's the typical person, and sometimes they plan to work here and stay here.
Then at one point, they become illegal.
So there are a lot of employers who are willing to hire them.
Sometimes, and this is one of the tragedies, is that they get kind of abused.
You know, the employer will say, "Well, hell, if you don't like it, go back to Mexico."
Or you get hurt, and they just throw them in the trash heap, thinking they won't come
to a lawyer, that happens all the time.
And that's one of the things I like to do, when I see an employer who's oppressive and
who's just grinding up these immigrants and throwing them away, if I can file something
to make them hurt and get this guy money, I feel some satisfaction in that.
Good for you.

Louis van Gaal slams Ed Woodward for failing to sign 'high quality' Man United transfer targets - Duration: 2:02.
Louis van Gaal slams Ed Woodward for failing to sign 'high quality' Manchester United transfer targets
Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has hit out at Ed Woodward for failing to sign players of 'high quality' during his two years at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman spent two seasons at the Theatre of Dreams between 2014-16 but was replaced by Jose Mourinho after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Van Gaal spent nearly £260 million during his stint at the club but only Ander Herrera, Sergio Romero and to a lesser extent Anthony Martial could be considered successes.
The 66-year-old has been out of management since leaving United but the Dutchman claims he could have been a bigger success at the club if executive-vice chairman Ed Woodward had signed more of his targets.
'I asked many, many times for players of the highest quality. But I didn't get the players I wanted,' said Van Gaal.
'I'm disappointed in certain human beings at United — and they know I'm disappointed.
Van Gaal has regularly hit out at the club since his departure in 2016 and he believes he was unfairly sacked after winning the FA Cup.
However, the Dutchman does admit he is an 'emotional' person and often says things he doesn't mean.
'I am an emotional guy, I say too much in interviews. I am always authentic. You see what you see with me,' admitted van Gaal.

Our goal here is to help you get as much grant money and scholarship aid as you
possibly can so that you can leave here with as little, or no debt, as possible.
Our office is located on the second floor of the Student Services Center.
If you need to see financial aid there's no need to make an appointment. You can walk
in and see us anytime during our office hours. All you have to do is sign-in up
front. We usually have someone that's available at the front counter that can
help you sign-in, if necessary, or you can call us at (806) 371-5000, or you can also
email us at: financial@actx.edu
