Waching daily May 29 2018

-Have you been on a date in the backseat of a car before?

-No not like this. Absolutely not.

-Are you Michelle?

-Yes.

You think you just got into a cab right?

-Yes.

-You just climbed into Backseat Blind Date.

-Ok.

-And I have set you up with someone who is right around the corner.

Are you down?

-Sure um-

-Alright let's go!

So how do you feel about going on a blind date?

-Really nervous cause it's a blind date and I just walked into a cab.

Who's gonna walk through that door?

-Hey

-Hi

-I'm Ajai

-Hi, I'm Michelle.

-Good to meet you.

-Nice to meet you.

-You're both officially on Backseat Blind Date.

You'll have three chances to compete for money by completing dating challenges.

At the end of our journey you can either take the money and continue the ride

to go on a real date or you can split the pot and go your separate ways.

You ready?

-Yeah.

-Yes.

-Let's go.

Your first challenge is called Red Light Green Light.

You each have a paddle and I'm going to say a habit your partner might have.

If you'redown with it you're gonna hold up the green side

and if you are not, you're gonna hold up the red side.

Every single time that you have the same answer you will win $10.

-Got it.

-Got it.

-Ok so the first one is they're a vegetarian.

Yes, both green.

-I mean, I don't care what people eat.

-Ok so your partner wears socks to bed.

Oh, no $10 for this one

-It's just socks.

-Yeah but it's weird. I don't know.

-How is that weird?

-t's just weird.

-Are you ready for the next one?

-Yeah.

-Your partner likes to go out with friends on weekends.

That's another $10

-It'd be weird if you weren't ok with that.

-Yeah that would be super-

-Controlling.

-Yeah that is controlling.

-So you're doing alright. We have one more to see just how compatible you are.

And it's your partner loves watching sports.

Ohh, you did not match on that one.

-I have nothing against sports.

-I love going to like the bar and watching the team play and yeah all that stuff.

-That's cool.

-Your next challenge, Picture This is going to test your creative side.

You'll take turns picking a word out of the bucket

and draw on the board for your date to guess.

With each correct answer you'll add $5 to the date pot.

-Alright.

- Sounds good.

-Ready. Set. Go.

-Hurry. Pull it. Pick it up.

-You're gonna have to draw faster than that.

-Umm, a flower

-Yup.

-Ok. Awesome. Next. Oh me.

-That's $5 so far.

-Oh Shoot.

-Candy? A cat? Like a stick cat.

-I don't know what that is, it's like a mushroom on a string.

-And say ok pass.

-Pass.

-Ok skip.

-Alright C'mon let's speed it up, let's speed it up.

-Ok uhh hotdog.

- Yeah.

-Alright got the hot dog right away.

-I know how to draw a hot dog.

-Ok so.

- A little girl maybe?

-Alright times up.

-How do you not know this is a dog.

-That's a scary looking dog.

-So like a little chihuahua. Like a miniature one.

-Now for your final challenge, Pile Up we're gonna test how well you work together.

Get this trivia questions correct and earn a mega $100 bonus cash prize.

-Ohhh.

-Yeah so you better get this one right.

-Yes definitely.

-Ok here's your question...

-Mercury.

-Yup.

-Hold them up.

-We've got.

-Saturn, Mars, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter.

-Correct you get $100!

-Yes that's amazing!

-So you now have $130 total.

-Wow.

-A hundred and thirty.

-How does it feel?

-It feels great.

-Yeah.

-I love it. I was a little nervous at first but I think we pulled it off.

-Ajai how do you feel?

-I feel pretty good.

-So now it's time to make your decision. You can take the money, continue on the ride

and put it towards a real date or you can split the pot and go your separate ways.

On the count of three i'm going to ask you each to hold up your paddle.

One side says we're done, the other side says lets go.

-Ok.

-One. Two. Three.

-Oh my gosh. This is great. You want to continue the ride.

-Yeah.

-Yeah let's do it.

- Where we going to?

-Uhh where do you get some tacos around here? I don't know.

-Well I also want a margarita so…

-Yeah here you go, so yeah mexican.

-I like your plan.

-Alright let's go.

"We're Told That The Ideal Body Is About Half Of My Size." - Duration: 3:39.

The plus-size athlete is a hugely underserved market.

We're told that the ideal body

is about half of my size,

she's blond,

and she probably isn't from Africa.

But surprise! Here I am.

Welcome to Pole Camp.

It is the only pole camp for plus-size divas.

There's always this new found revved up debate of,

you are promoting obesity.

Could we just think about that one time?

You're angry at overweight people

for not doing stuff to better their health.

You tell us we are a piece of s**t

and we're shameful.

Then when we do stuff — we go to the gym,

bust our ass,

work out, we try super hard,

now you're angry?

You want us to get better but not in your own backyard?

Boo-boo stop it.

The ugly and inconvenient truth

is that all I want

is for a boy to think I'm cute.

I am working to try and change that

and over the last few years,

pole dancing has actually been the catalyst and over the last few years,

pole dancing has actually been the catalyst

that's helped me start to heal.

As a young child, I remember everybody talking about

who had a crush on who, but I was never

the person who somebody had a crush on.

I assumed that

little white boys weren't liking little black girls

because mixed race didn't happen like that

and I didn't understand it.

Once I got older, the difference between

me and all my white friends

besides the race was my size.

White people can like black people and they can love them,

but nobody —

I don't care what race you are —

nobody is messing with the fat girl.

And it's a shame because

you would think having a college degree,

starting my own business, just rocking my own way,

I should have plenty to worry about

than if a boy thinks I'm cute.

If there's a movement that does not work

for your body, it doesn't mean

your body is wrong.

Athletic rules, which were created for people your body is wrong.

Athletic rules, which were created for people

who look nothing like us,

they don't always apply.

And that's why we've got plus-size teachers

because we are trying to figure this s**t out ourselves.

People will make that extra effort

to come to my class because

I'm the only person in a teaching capacity

that looks remotely like them.

Had I seen

female athletes my size

and they were respected,

I wonder how that would have changed my thinking as an adult

because right now I'm trying to undo

33 years of self-hatred

about my weight and my worth as an athlete.

For the instructors

and for the gym managers and the owners out there,

in your hiring practices,

think about diversity —

not just the one token chocolate girl or guy,

but think about size diversity,

think about diversity of thought,

diversity of how you are going to approach health.

I know it's a scary thing,

and I know it looks like it's going to be a big ass risk.

Take the risk.

I'm worth it. So is everybody else.

One. Two. Three.

Is the MaxBox from Asus any good? - Duration: 2:26.

Hey guys in this video I will be testing out MaxBox, this is an accessory included by Asus

with the Zenfone Max Pro M1.

It comes in this card board styled box and it transforms and there's also a pictorial

representation of it on the back.

Once the phone is inserted it sits tight in the portrait mode.

Here I'll be playing a video clip with and with out the box and will be monitoring audio

levels along the way so let's take a look.

So as you can see there's definitely improvement in the audio with the Max box the sound is

being amplified hence it's louder while maintaining audio quality but my only complaint

is that this can't be done in landscape mode if Asus figured out a way to do so it

would've been great other than that it's a very useful accessory that Asus has bundled

with the phone.

So this has been a quick look at the MaxBox.

I hope you found this video helpful, if you did please make sure to hit the like button

and also share this video it will be very helpful.

Make sure to follow me on Facebook, Twitter and instagram I'll leave links in this videos

A is not for Ally ~ The Maybe List - Duration: 4:00.

Transgender

Queer or Questioning

Intersex

Ally?!

Hi! I'm Maybe Burke and you're watching The Maybe List.

This week's episode is brought to you by the letter A

and A is not for Ally.

So ally is most commonly used as a military term in which it's used to reference

a region or a country cooperating with another region or country toward a common goal.

In conversations around social justice we have taken the term to apply to

marginalized groups of people and the people who helped them work toward a common goal.

So by definition, if you are an ally to a community, you are not a part of that community.

Now there's a lot of different versions of this acronym: LGBT, LGBTQ, LGBTQA, LGBTQIA, LGBTIPQQA.

Some people list certain letters twice or three times, but no matter the acronym you're using,

we're having conversations about sexual orientations and gender identities that are marginalized from mainstream culture

and to put allies as part of that acronym is not really adding to that conversation.

Now I know and I acknowledge that there are allies who feel very attached to the community,

who are very close to the community, have loved ones who are queer,

and contribute actively to the conversation, and I am not trying to take away from that or belittle that at all.

what I'm asking is for you to be intentional in your actions and to make sure that you are not taking up space

that might belong to or be available to somebody else who needs it.

Being an ally is a lot more than being a friend.

Being an ally is a lot more than hanging out at gay bars.

Being an ally is a lot more than a rainbow filter on your Facebook photo.

And if you really need an A in an acronym in order to prove how good of an ally you are,

I can almost guarantee that you're not actually listening to the conversation.

Giving the A to allies also implies that there is assumed allyship between LGBTQ people.

Very often I run into cisgender gay people who are transphobic.

There's plenty of bi erasure within lesbian and gay culture.

I mean, look at Caitlyn Jenner, even some trans people are homophobic.

Assuming that anybody in a queer space is an ally to all people in a queer space

is a gross over-generalization, and it probably actually ends up doing more harm than good.

No other marginalized group specifically makes space for their allies in their movement.

People with disabilities also often are related to people without disabilities.

The movement for black lives in this country isn't the Black & Friends movement.

But then what the hell does the A stand for?

There's a lot of queer identities that start with A.

Asexual.

There's a whole spectrum of asexuality that really doesn't get enough conversation in the mainstream.

And perhaps that's because we're taking space away from them.

There's an entire community of people who don't feel sexual attraction, feel varying degrees of sexual attraction,

are demisexual, graysexual, have varying degrees of sexual attraction and romantic attraction.

Specifically, the asexual community is significantly underrepresented in queer spaces.

Now let's look at some asexual representation in media.

We're done. There isn't much.

There's not much for the asexual community to latch on to.

The least we can give them is a little letter in an acronym.

Asexual people are often seen as the butt of a joke, they're laughed at, it's thought to be sad.

These communities have substance and deserve to be acknowledged for what they are.

I will note that not all asexual people identify as queer.

Just like not all intersex people identify as queer, not all trans people identify as queer

What I like to say is there's room for you at the table but you don't need to take a seat.

But if we are giving that letter A to our allies and not to asexual people,

There won't be room at that table and they won't have a seat.

If you're an ally to the LGBTQIA community, but that A stands for ally,

how are you an ally to a thing that you're a part of?

It's just bad semantics.

Researchers: Being Forgetful Is A Sign You'Re Unusually Intelligent - Duration: 2:13.

Researchers: Being forgetful is a sign you're unusually intelligent

Do you ever forget your new coworker's name?

If it happens often, you might be concerned that something's not quite right.

But don't worry, it doesn't mean there's anything wrong.

In fact, it's quite the opposite!

Researchers have published a new study showing that people who are forgetful might actually

be smarter than their friends with better memories.

The University of Toronto in Canada has discovered that intelligence has nothing to do with how

much someone can remember.

Usually, we think that people who can remember anything from multiplication tables to their

relatives's birthdays are smart, but being forgetful actually has practical applications.

In fact, the part of the brain that stores memories also writes important new memories

over older unimportant ones.

Remembering every little detail isn't what makes us smart, reports CNN.

It's about keeping what's important front and center, while letting go of the rest.

This might be easier to understand if we look at the example of someone who remembers a

person's face but not their name.

Certainly, it might be embarrassing, but if you look at it from another angle, it could

actually be better.

But the cleverness of the forgetful brain doesn't end there.

It also helps us sort out old memories that we no longer need, so we have room to add

new, more important ones.

Although it's better to remember every detail and also keep a grasp on the big picture,

fewer and fewer people are able to do it.

When the answer to almost everything question is just a click away, there's not really

an incentive to memorize all the names of the American presidents, for example.

However, this study doesn't mean you should forget everything all the time.

But if you forget to buy milk, for example, remember it's just your brain doing its

job Make sense?

Please share this article with your forgetful friends on Facebook, youtube and tweeter.

Hopefully, they'll remember to read it and they won't feel stupid the next time they

forget something!

How Old Is Mercenary Tao? Calculated and Explained | Dragon Ball Code - Duration: 2:13.

Mercenary Tao or Tao Pai Pai is a highly skilled assassin that instead of using a car or a

plane to travel he uses a log or a column.

He is very strong and lives for many years.

Exactly for how many years?

That's what we are gonna find out today.

Hey how's it going my name is Raf and welcome to Dragon Ball code.

Today we are going to find out how old Mercenary Tao is.

Tao was born in age 459.

2 years later the King Piccolo wars take place, but he is not able to serve because of course,

he is just an infant.

As time keeps moving he starts training in martial arts and quickly starts to surpass

his brother Shen.

And for those who can't remember, Master Shen is the founder of the crane school where

Tien trains.

Eventually he grows apart from his brother and becomes an extraordinary martial artist.

Btw if you would love to have his means of transportation, hit that like button.

Time keeps moving and somehow he manages to live many years.

Perhaps he knew master Roshi's secret.

In age 730 when he is 271 he starts working as a ruthless mercenary and assassin.

Then in age 749 Dragon ball starts.

He is now 290.

A year later in age 750 he is hired to kill Goku.

He defeats Goku in battle, runs up Korin's tower, and is defeated by Goku.

After this horrible defeat, he is turned into a cyborg.

Then in age 756 he enters the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament.

Now he is 297.

He goes again Chiautzu and beats him, but then he fight against Tien and he is defeated.

In the manga he goes away and this is the las time we see him.

So the last Time we see Tao pai pai in the manga he was 297.

Now in the anime he was seen the last time during Cell and that is age 767.

So the last Time we see Tao in the anime he was 308 years old.

Why Expanding a Business to Brazil is a Serious Challenge - Duration: 1:56.

Hello, my name is Carol Wheeler.

I work on the client services team here at Globalization Partners.

Today, I want to talk to you about expanding a business to Brazil, some of the challenges

you might face, and how we can help you navigate them.

Brazil is one of the most difficult places to establish an entity anywhere in the world.

Brazil has an incredibly complex and constantly changing tax regime making mistakes almost

inevitable.

Say you register your own entity in Brazil.

If things don't work out and you decide to wind down, you will need to keep your books

for five years.

In fact, it's for this reason that companies will often use Globalization Partners to test

the market so they don't have to deal with the headache of entity setup before they're

fully ready to commit.

Employment is generally governed by collective bargaining agreements, and employees have

access to significant employment-related benefits.

For example, employees here are entitled to vacation pay, which must be paid before the

employee takes vacation.

There is statutory severance, retirement severance, and 13th-month pay as well.

It's easy for companies entering Brazil for the first time to get tripped up on the level

of benefits and protections required for employees.

That's where our Global Employer of Record model comes in.

Globalization Partners helps companies expand internationally without having to establish

a subsidiary in country by putting your employees on our payroll and assigning them 100 percent

back to you.

Through our own entity in Brazil we can help you test the market by hiring your first employees.

If you're interested in expanding to Brazil visit our website, give us a call, or send

us an email today.

Thanks for watching!
