Hi, welcome to our 7th episode of the Medical Sciences Liaison channel.
My name is Martijn Bijker and I'm the founder of the global medical science liaison training company
called from science to Pharma. And before we start make sure you
subscribe to this channel to get up-to-date information in the future
today our question is about how long should you prepare for your say your
first interview round for your MSL job. Definitely a lot more than you've
probably done for your PhD or postdoc or any other interview you've had before.
Because as you know the MSL job is quite complex and it requires a lot
of knowledge from you. So what are the things you need to prepare on?
Definitely you need to know about the company, the drug the mode of action
the disease, the clinical papers with your drug, you need to
know the competitors, clinical guidelines, clinical trials that's just a small bit
of the whole list of things. Also you need to make sure you are really
well prepared on your interview questions. Know how to ask questions,
how to use the STAR method and walk people through your CV.
So all this requires a lot of

Loading paper: for installation (TR8500 series) - Duration: 3:49.
1 Detach the cassette cover.
Slide out the cassette.
Detach the cassette cover.
2 Adjust the cassette.
While pressing down the lock, slide out the cassette toward you.
Note: When using paper other than A4 paper, you do not need to slide out the cassette.
3 Move the paper guides to the edges.
Adjust the front paper guide to the A4 size.
Move the right paper guide to the edge.
4 Load paper.
Use A4 plain paper.
Load with the printing side facing down.
Align the paper guides with the edges of the paper.
Important: Do not press the paper with the paper guides too strongly. Otherwise, paper may not be fed correctly.
Check that the paper touches the front paper guide.
5 Return the cassette.
Attach the cassette cover.
Return the cassette.
6 Open the output tray extension.
Slide out the paper output tray and paper output support.
Open the output tray extension.
7 Print the print head alignment sheet.
Check the screen, then tap [OK].
The print head alignment sheet will be printed.
8 Place the print head alignment sheet.
Open the document cover.
Place the pattern on the platen glass with the printed side facing down.
Align the mark on the sheet with the reference mark on the printer.
Close the document cover gently so as not to move the print head alignment sheet.
9 Perform print head alignment.
Check the screen, then tap [OK].
Print head alignment starts automatically. Please wait a while.
Check the screen, then tap [OK].
The paper loading (for installation) is now complete.
