Astana is a team where I won this race for the first time!
I have great memories! It was hard, but now I have only nice memories! Ciao!
Today is one of the most decisive stages, where the general classification will be decided.
We will do our best for our Colombian leader.

Please, cheer for us! Let's stay together in these days!
It is so nice we have reached the podium! Would be even better to win!
But, anyway, we are cheering for Astana!
And we will come to the Tour de France, where we will follow the team stage by stage.

The stage was very hard, but in general the whole race was difficult, practically, there was not any transit or easy stage in this edition of the Giro.
So, today, in the last day in the mountains we could see that all the riders are very tired, empty. It was not about the forces or energy remained, everyone was on the limit, so it was all about willpower.
If we talk about plans for this Giro d'Italia, I can say, we have exceeded our target. We wanted to fight for a Top-5 and now we are on the podium and also, we have a 6 th place of Bilbao.
And, of course, the white jersey is a very good result as well.
This stage has ended around 18:00 and now we have a long transfer to Rome. Of course, as a show on TV it is nice, but this kind of transfers are not great things.
We finished the stage here in Aosta, it is near France on the North of Italy and now we have to come down to Rome, you can check on the map how long is the trip.
Fortunately, the riders will do this trip by flight, right in this moment they have to have a boarding. In the airport they had a dinner and this evening the riders will be in Rome.
But for the staff we had to prepare a smart logistic: we have sent a truck and our bus to Rome this morning, because the bus had to meet the riders in the airport and we needed to have all materials there in Rome already to prepare everything for tomorrow's final stage.
And all other staff is driving now to Firenze, where we will sleep over the night and tomorrow morning we will continue our way to Rome where we plan to be around midday to have time to prepare for the last stage, which will start at 16:00.
So, all the riders + SD Giuseppe Martinelli, team's doctor and a masseur who will accompany they, will go to Rome by flight, while all other staff will drive there by cars.
We are at the finish of the last stage in Rome. Today, after the third lap the stage was neutralized to allow the GC riders to ride this stage calmly and without risk.
The stage victory was played by the sprinters, while now we are waiting for the finish of the race favorites: we are waiting for a group with the pink jersey and our leader Miguel Angel Lopez, the white jersey of the race.
