Sutra number 27 "tasya vachakah pranavah"
translation he is represented through the sound vibration OM. Any entity when
it needs to be communicated needs to have a designation or a name. Without a
designation or a name how do you communicate? So God needs a name and that
name for God in the Vedas amongst other names is OM.
this OM is also called Pranav. It represents the formless aspect of God
without any attributes, without any designations, without any forms - is
all-pervading formless aspect is represented by the OM. This OM is
particularly significant because it is a cosmic sound, this whole universe is
pervaded by OM. So
in the Vedas the OM comes in the beginning of mantras as the beaj as the
seed. "Chanting Vedic mantra" the OM comes
there. So OM is uncontroversial, anybody, everybody can accept this OM
There are many Yogi's who are drawn to the formless aspect of God, they enjoy
meditating upon OM but what is important is the name of God, whichever
name you wish to take do remember his name. The Bible says in the beginning was
the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Vedas say when God
created this world before he created the physical entities earth water fire air
sky he created the sound OM and from that sound game sky and then everything
else unfolded so there's a parallel between these different scriptures and
there all of them emphasize the name of God. So what is the advantage of the name of
the of God? Our mind it fluctuates in its thoughts
we don't keep the mind focused in one place, so in a minute you're thinking
this and then thinking that and then thinking a third thing and so on it goes
so if we can develop this habit of taking God's name the mind gets yoked to
it. So that in order to bring the mind under control the chanting of his name
becomes very advantageous. This chanting of the name can be done in different
ways. One is Upanchu. Upanchu is where your lips are closed or or slightly open
and you are chanting but nobody can hear you.. you're chanting nobody can hear you
one is Maanasic you're just chanting in the mind Radhe Shyam Radhe Shyam
and one is Vachak when you are actually speaking it out.
Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Ram and one is kirtan where you're singing it loudly with the playing of
musical instruments. So all these are different ways of taking the name of God
and devotees of the Lord they take advantage of all of these. Kripaluji
Maharaj he says, "Shwasa jab khicho to 'Ra' kahu man he manatee pyare, shwasa jab chodu
to kahu 'Dhe' dhyan bhi karu pyare, dhyan bhi karu pyare"
says when you breathe in, in your mind chant 'Ra" and when you breathe out in your mind chant 'Dhe' so
with every breath you will remember Radharani Radhey Radhey alternatively you
can chant Radhe Krishna or Sita Ram or Namah Shivaya in other words use your
breath to remember God. The Saints have reminded us "shwaas shwaas sumiran kuro yaha
upaya bado neek" Saint Kabir ji says, this is a beautiful strategy to remember God with
every breath
so while remembering we must also create those sentiments and for that the Saints
inform us that remember there is no difference between God and his name. That
distinction is there in the world the word water and the entity water they are
separate. If you are thirsty mere repetition of water water water will not
quench your thirst but in the spiritual realm
God is non-different from his name. God's names, forms, virtues, pastimes, abodes
associates. Naam, Rupa, Leela, Guna, Dham, Sant they are all one so because they are all
one God is sitting inside his name
there is no difference. If you can have faith then when you take the name the
sentiments will naturally be there that he is manifesting in the form of his
name when I am chanting it and with that kind of sentiment when we take the name
Lord Shankar, Shivji says..Jesus rock our Adina nomination motto mama Parvati mana
Prasanna tamati namah namah bashang gaya he says Oh Parvati when I hear someone
say rah I feel that he's going to see more he intends to say Rama he may say
one afterwards round one but I get thrilled merely hearing rah this is Lord
shoes sentiments towards the name because he
sees the name is not different from the Lord so even in the world the name does
have an effect if you were to chant cancer cancer cancer cancer 10,000 times
it would change your mood if you were to chant hate hate hate hate 50,000 times
you would get depressed and if you were to chant love love love 100,000 times
your personality will change so now what is the power of chanting God's name
Maharishi Patanjali talks about this in the next

BREAKING: Roseanne Is Already Making A Comeback With Stunning New Announcement.
Roseanne Barr suffered a setback when ABC canceled her show over a Tweet that caused
a few people to complain.
While a few folks subjectively were offended by what Roseanne said, others ignored it and
continued about their day.
However, someone at ABC didn't like what Roseanne said about Valerie Jarrett and used
the Tweet as an excuse to cancel her show.
In the action of canceling the show, the station also caused numerous others to lose their
jobs as well.
When ABC canceled the Roseanne show, they caused others to lose their jobs and it was
all over a Tweet that a few people simply didn't like.
Canceling an entire show, causing numerous people to lose their jobs, and providing the
country with more evidence of the sickly double standard that's saturating our country with
thoughtless boycotts and nonsense complaints of being offended.
After all is said and done, it was ABC who caused people to lose their job even though
their ratings were acceptable and their audience enjoyed the program.
Roseanne isn't letting this get to her though.
She's already making her own comeback just a day after losing her show.
She's taken to Twitter, the place in which her previous comment was discovered and caused
ABC to lose their minds, and she's showing that great-American resilience.
She's making a comeback by taking responsibility for her actions and reminding her fans that
they simply need not make excuses for her or come to her defense.
She's showing her resilience to being cut from her own show and allowing ABC to sever
so many people from their jobs and no longer bringing back the show for the next season,
even though they were renewed.
Conservative 101 wrote more about her comeback: "It has been a horrible day for 'Roseanne'
fans around the world.
ABC canceled the hit show 'Roseanne' after the lead Roseanne Barr tweeted a very politically
incorrect tweet about former Obama official Valerie Jarrett.
However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
After the show was canceled, Barr apologized on Twitter.
"I deeply regret my comments from late last night on Twitter.
Above all, I want to apologize to Valerie Jarrett, as well as to ABC and the cast and
crew of the Roseanne show.
I am sorry for making a thoughtless joke that does not reflect my values – I love all
people and am very sorry," wrote Barr.
"Today my words caused hundreds of hardworking people to lose their jobs.
I also sincerely apologize to the audience that has embraced my work for decades.
I apologize from the bottom of my heart and hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive
me," wrote Barr.
After her apology, she announced that she is not done for yet.
She even has a guest appearance on an interview show this Friday.
"Don't feel sorry for me, guys!!-I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people,
and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due
to my stupid tweet.
I will be on Joe Rogan's podcast friday," tweeted Barr.
"hey guys, don't defend me, it's sweet of you 2 try, but…losing my show is 0 compared
2 being labelled a racist over one tweet-that I regret even more," she wrote."
The next step for Roseanne and her crew is to see if another network picks up her show.
They will wait while other networks make a decision, mostly determining how many viewers
they can gain by signing on the show as needed.
If a network realizes they can pick up an extra few million viewers, then perhaps it's
worth picking up the show.
If the networks think like businessmen and put politics aside, then they'll see that
signing Roseanne's show will bring them new viewership.
Keep in mind that many of the writers for the Roseanne show fall on the left side of
politics.
The show staff has numerous people from various political agendas and the outcome is that
they all work together and provide an entertaining show that millions of fans enjoy greatly.
The staff of Roseanne's show is evidence that people of multiple political backgrounds
can happily work together and provide a product worth watching – which was evident by the
ratings the show so greatly endured.
Roseanne will bounce back and it's thought that someone will eventually pick up the show.
Shall executives from any network sign the Roseanne show, then they'll likely have
made a wonderful decision.
Whoever picks it up will automatically be graced with millions of new viewers.

#SocialRecap, ep.10 | Facebook is creating an Influencer Marketing Platform - Duration: 7:11.
So, a german website called AllFacebook recently spotted a new tool on Facebook
that is designed to help companies find the right influencers for their brands.
It's called "Branded Content Matching".
Hey! This is Chia from Brand24 and welcome back to the #SocialRecap - a rundown of
all the news highlights and trends in social media and digital marketing news.
So, Burger King recently came up with a pretty cool Instagram campaign in Spain
that might have helped them discover how to make a perfect Whopper for their
customers. So, they pulled their audience through Instagram stories asking them to
customize the perfect Whopper using ingredient stickers. And in just one day
Burger King Spain had over 270,000 grand interactions and over 30,000 Whoppers
were created through Instagram stories. And the campaign had so much social
media reach that it even grew their followers by 10% overnight. So, here's
what the perfect Whopper looks like based on data from the Burger King
Instagram polls. And that's two patties, cheese, bacon, ketchup, mayo, lettuce,
tomatoes and onions. And the most important part at least in Spain is to
hold the pickles. The campaign was a great success - beyond the overnight
increase in audience engagement they were also able to take the data and use
it for in-store customer acquisition by turning it into a real burger. So, you can
actually buy the InstaWhopper in Burger Kings everywhere in Spain for 7 euro. And
speaking of Instagram, if you're one of those users who only posts directly to
the feed, you might want to give stories another chance. Especially since they now
have over 300 million daily active users. Which is why Instagram is developing
their features to make it easier for users to post on your Instagram feed
directly to stories. So, now when you're scrolling through your Instagram feed, if
you see something interesting, you might just tap on share and then
select "create a story with this post". The name of the original poster will be
visible and linked in the story. So far this update will let users create
stories from post by other users in their feed and not from their own feed
posts. And stories aren't just growing on Instagram. In just 14 months since it was
launched, Facebook now has over a 150 million daily active users for
Facebook stories. The numbers look so promising that of course it's time for
the platform to start profiting with advertisements and developing their
stories feature further. So, these developments include updates for
Facebook story voice posts letting users see photos and videos taken by
Facebook camera directly on Facebook instead of the phones. And they're also
releasing Facebook Story Ads. So, Facebook Story Voice Posts will let users record
audio clips for their Facebook stories that they can share with the picture. Or
they can upload an audio file and just post it as a story. So, Facebook story ads
are being tested in the US Mexico and Brazil right now. These are 5 to 15
second video ads that don't contain any links which users are free to skip. And
advertiser can easily cross post their Instagram story ads to Facebook stories
where they can automatically reformat their Facebook newsfeed ads to get them
ready for Facebook stories. Of course the surge in popularity of stories doesn't
mean that Facebook and Instagram are gonna give up on their other features.
Especially since most advertisers currently advertised outside of stories.
So Instagram was coming out with a new feature that will let advertisers turn
organic Instagram posts into ads within Facebook's Power Editor and Ads Manager.
So, previously advertisers have been restricted to the Promote button which
is Insta's answer to the Boost button on Facebook. But now they'll be able to use
Facebook Ads Manager and Power Editor. So, at the moment advertisers will be able
to create ads from single video and single photo feed posts. Stories, carousel,
branded content and Instagram shopping ads won't be supported just yet.
Influencer marketing is one of those phrases that you hear everywhere now.
Especially when you think about Instagram influencer marketing, YouTube
influencer marketing, snapchat influencer marketing and of course: Facebook
influencer marketing. So, a german website called AllFacebook recently spotted a
new tool on Facebook that is designed to help companies find the right
influencers for their brands. It's called Branded Content Matching. So, there are
3 main components in the tool: Search, Saved Lists and Suggested Creators.
The "Search" filter will help you find influencers based on their audience and
personal demographics. So you could look for a content creator who is influential
among young women and who is a young woman herself.
The "Saved Lists" provide more information about your potential
influencers. You can view them accordingly to engagement views per video or take a
look at their portfolio. And it looks like Suggested Creators will be
a list of potential influencers based on the search information that you
provide and your Saved Lists. So, by helping its users cash in on the time
that they spend on their platform, Facebook not only encourages the
creation of better content, at least for brands, but also increases the amount of
time that users will spend on their site. And with the introduction of Facebook
Story Ads, a lot of businesses might need a hand getting started with the new
format. So, by matching them with content creators to specialize in this could be
just the perfect solution. And Snapchat Spectacles are there those camera
sunglasses that you can use for photo and video recording. A Snap look cool
inside Snapchat but seem kind of awkward when you have to export them to circulate
format with a big white border in any other app. Now Snap is testing new export
formats for their spectacles. Instead of a white border you can choose a black
border and more importantly you can also select a 16:9 aspect ratio which is
popular on YouTube and other video platform. Making the spectacles more
compatible with other platforms will hopefully make them more appealing to a
wider audience. Especially since the first version only sold 220 thousand pairs,
which was well below their projections. And we mentioned
last time how Google Assistant has learned how to make appointments for you
over the phone. Well the AI technology sounds so lifelike that Google will now
require its assistant to identify itself as Google Assistant at the beginning of
every call. And calls will be recorded so that customers can review the
conversations later. Now, Google said that they will alert
those on receiving end of the phone call in certain jurisdictions that they're
being recorded. Now, many states require consent from both parties if a phone
conversation is going to be recorded to protect the invasion of privacy.
Hopefully Google Assistant will notify everyone that it calls that they're
being recorded and not just the ones that it has to. So, that's it for this
episode of the #SocialRecap. Don't miss out on the latest trends and highlights
in social media and digital marketing news. Subscribe to the #SocialRecap on
YouTube for even more inspiration, insights, tools and tips. Thanks for watching and
thanks for tuning in to this #SocialRecap and I'll see you next time.

Alan Watts- Which Holy Book is true - Duration: 5:22.
Now, what about them, the authority of these scriptures?
We could take this problem in two steps.
A lot of people don't know how we got the Bible at all.
We Westerners got the Bible thanks to the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church and members of the church wrote the books of the New Testament.
And they took over the books of the Old Testament which even by the time of Christ had not been
finally decided upon by the Jews.
The Jews did not close the canon of the Old Testament until the year 100 A.D. – or thereabouts
– at the Synod of Jamnia.
And then they finally decided which were the canonical books of the Hebrew Scriptures and
embodied them in the Masoretic Text, the earliest copy of which dates from the tenth century
– early in the tenth century A.D..
The books to be included in the New Testament were not finally decided upon until the year
three hundred and eighty-two – A.D. again – at the Synod of Rome under Pope Damasus.
So it was the church – the Catholic Church – that promulgated the Bible and said "we
are giving you these scriptures on our authority and the authority of the informal tradition
that has existed among us from the beginning, inspired by the Holy Spirit."
So you receive historically the Bible on the church's say-so.
And the Catholic Church insists, therefore, that the church collectively, speaking under
the presumed guidance of the Holy Spirit, has the authority to interpret the Bible.
And you can take that or leave it.
Because obviously the authority of the Bible is not first of all based on the Bible itself.
I can write a bible and state within that book that it is indeed the Word of God which
I have received.
And you're at liberty to believe me or not.
Hindus believe that the Vedas are divinely revealed and inspired with just as much fervor
as any Christian or any Jew.
Muslims believe that the Koran is divinely inspired.
And some Buddhists believe that their Sutras are of divine – or rather Buddhic – origin.
The Japanese believe that the ancient texts of Shinto are likewise of divine origin.
And who is to be judge?
If we are going to argue about this – as to which version of the Truth is the correct
one – we will always end up in an argument in which the judge and the advocate are the
same person.
And you wouldn't want that if you were brought into a court of law, would you?
Because if I say that, "Well, thinking it all over I find that Jesus Christ is the greatest
being who ever came onto this Earth," by what standards do I judge?
Why obviously, I judge by the sort of moral standards that have been given to me as somebody
brought up in a Christian culture.
There is nobody impartial who can decide between all the religions because more or less everybody
has been in one way or another influenced by one of them.
So if the church says the Bible is true it finally comes down to you.
Are you going to believe the church or aren't you?
If nobody believes the church it will be perfectly plain, won't it, that the church has no
authority.
Because the people is always the source of authority.
That's why de Tocqueville said that the people gets what government it deserves.
And so you may say "Well, God Himself is the authority!"
Well, how are we to show that?
That's your opinion.
Well you say "Well, you wait and see.
The Day of Judgment is coming, and then you'll find out who is the authority!"
Yes, but at the moment there is no evidence for the Day of Judgment, and it remains until
there is evidence simply your opinion that the Day of Judgment is coming.
And there is nothing else to go on except the opinion of other people who hold the same
view and whose opinions you bought.
So really, I won't deny anybody's right to hold these opinions.
You may indeed believe that the Bible is literally true and that it was actually dictated by
God to Moses and the Prophets and the Apostles.
That may be your opinion and you are at liberty to hold it.
I don't agree with you.
