Potential plans revealed for Liverpool's parade route after Champions League final

Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson has revealed that plans have been finalised for a potential parade route should Liverpool win the Champions League in Kiev.

The Reds are acutely aware of the delicate nature of such planning, with the final itself still over a week away and a great challenge before them in Real Madrid.

But the scale and logistical challenges of arranging a route safely, which would attract tens and perhaps hundreds of thousands of supporters to cheer the side home, means it could not possibly be done overnight.

As a result, Liverpool FC, Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Police have been working to align the plan according to the clubs schedule.

Any potenial parade would take place on Sunday, May 27 The route will run from Parliament Street and finish near the Liverpool Olympia The parade would start from around midday.

The full route given by the council is shown in the below image.

An open-top bus would lead Jurgen Klopp, his team and the trophy itself along the Strand, up Leeds Street, along Hunter Street, Islington, Erskine Street and West Derby Road, before finishing near the Liverpool Olympia.

A statement from the council further shed light on issues faced by arranging the parade, given two other major events would be happening the same day.

The European champions will not be confirmed until the evening of Saturday, May 26, however due to the major logistical challenges needed to arrange a parade of this scale the announcement is being made in advance so residents and businesses in the city can prepare for the potential event.

The potential parade will take place when Liverpool is staging two major events – Three Festivals Tall Ships Regatta and the Bordeaux Wine Festival – which alone are expected to attract tens of thousands of people to the waterfront.

It would start from midday, is expected to last for a couple of hours, and will see the Liverpool FC team parade the Champions League trophy on an open top bus, travelling along Liverpool's UNESCO world heritage waterfront.

Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson added that the choice of staging the parade the day after the final itself was a club decision, one which they also took back in 2005.

Regardless of whether you are a Red, Blue or not a football fan at all, an event like this has a hugely positive impact and will once again shine the international spotlight on the city.

We are all tremendously proud of LFC's achievement and you can already feel the buzz around the city ahead of the final.

The club requested the parade takes place on the Sunday, and even though it's already a busy day for the city, we want to make sure we are ready to give them the heroes' welcome they deserve should they win.

I understand there will be disappointment for those fans who are unable to get back from Kiev in time, but it was a similar situation in 2005 and we have to be guided by the club in terms of the date and time.

We are working closely with LFC, Merseyside Police and our travel partners to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely for everyone to enjoy.

We're keeping everything crossed for the final and hope the team and the fans do Liverpool proud in Kiev as they have throughout the competition.

The parade would have to take place on the Sunday due to Liverpools international players heading off for their World Cup preparations on the Monday.

After winning the Champions League in 2005, Liverpools bus parade through the city saw an estimated one million fans line the route, with incredible scenes at St.

Georges Hall where a reported 300,000 people were in attendance.

The Reds are currently in Marbella preparing for the final in Kiev, they return to Merseyside this weekend, with the UEFA Champions League media day taking place at Anfield on Monday.

Fox Host Says Hillary Clinton To Blame For Trump Jr.'s Meeting With Russian Spy - Duration: 4:24.

Earlier this week the transcripts from some of the congressional testimony of people who

have testified from the Trump campaign, Donald Trump's friends, about potential collusion

between the campaign and Russia.

Those transcripts were released, and one thing we learned was that it was all Hilary Clinton's

fault.

Now that actually wasn't in any of the transcripts, but that's what the good folks over at Fox

News got after reading through all those transcripts, that this was somehow Hilary Clinton's doing.

Take a look.

Well, reading the transcripts it seems like Don Jr. thought that this was a meeting where

he was going to get information that turned into a lobbying effort by Natalia Veselnitskaya,

and that was it.

It was something that they said that they were doing and they kind of turned it into

something else; but when you get further away from it and you get a year, two years past

this meeting and the information that we have outside of it, let's not forget that Natalia

Veselnitskaya admitted she was a spy a couple of months ago.

We know that, but the most interesting part is that Glen Simpson, who was the co-founder

of Fusion GPS, was part of writing this unverified, salacious dossier about the president, met

with her before the Trump Tower meeting with Don Jr. and after the meeting, which makes

me think this wasn't about giving Don Jr. dirt.

This was about her going into Trump Tower and trying to get dirt on the Trump campaign.

Trying to infiltrate.

Right, to extract something.

That's right.

That meeting that Donald Trump Jr. attended with Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort with

Natalia Veselnitskaya ... is how you pronounce it there, Katie Pavlich ... that was all Hillary

Clinton doing that.

Yeah, she wanted dirt on the Trump campaign.

Somehow in the crazy minds of Fox News hosts, she coordinated with a Russian lawyer who

is now admitted that she's also an informant for the Russian government to get dirt on

the Trump campaign.

I don't even know how a crazy a human being has to be in order to try to make that jump

of logic there.

But that's what's happened at Fox News, there's no longer even the semblance of trying to

be normal.

They are doing whatever they can to deflect away from the non-stop scandals of the Trump

administration.

And yeah, the testimonies that were released, those transcripts, those are a big deal.

It shows that Donald Trump Jr. definitely met with that Russian lawyer because he thought

he was getting dirt on Hillary Clinton.

The emails that Trump Jr. himself released showed that he 100 percent met with that lawyer

to get dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Jared Kushner went to that meeting hundred percent expecting to get dirt on Hillary Clinton,

according to those transcripts.

One of Donald Trump's friends set up the meeting, not Hillary Clinton.

That's in the transcripts.

The dude was called to testify before Congress, we know that.

Yet this idiot on Fox News is telling us that somehow, in some way this was Hillary Clinton's

doing.

She's the one who set up the Trump campaign for failure, to be investigated by arranging

this meeting that she actually had nothing to do with.

The people at Fox News have lost their collective minds.

They're not even afraid to show that anymore.

They want you to understand how crazy they are.

They're so crazy because they have bet everything on Donald Trump, and every day just keeps

getting worse for them.

They have nowhere else to turn.

They have nowhere else to deflect to, so they try to make up these insane conspiracy theories

to keep their viewers hooked, thinking that Hillary Clinton is still the biggest, baddest,

worst human being to ever walk the planet.

Well, guess what, your candidate, your guy, the one that you defend every day, I'm pretty

sure that he's a lot worse than Hillary Clinton could ever even hope to be.

How about you stop obsessing over the Clintons and maybe occasionally, every once in a while

if you could, talk about the fact that Donald Trump is in very serious legal trouble, as

is the rest of his family.

T.I. Arrested For Drunken Assualt | TMZ Live - Duration: 6:58.

T.I. ARRESTED EARLY THIS MORNING

AT HIS OWN GATED COMMUNITY.

HE GOT INTO IT WITH A GUARD AT

THE SECURITY SHACK AND HE ENDED

UP GETTING HAULED OFF BY POLICE.

NOW T.I. SAYS THE WHOLE THING IS

B.S.

YOU'RE GOING TO HEAR BOTH SIDES

OF THE STORY WHEN WE COME BACK.

CHARLES: WELCOME BACK TO "TMZ

LIVE."

T.I. ARRESTED RIGHT NEAR HIS OWN

HOME EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING,

ABOUT 4:00 A.M. BECAUSE THE

SECURITY GUARD AT HIS GATED

COMMUNITY WOULD NOT LET HIM IN.

HARVEY: THE GUARD SHACK IS A

LITTLE OLD PLACE YOU GET

ARRESTED!

CHARLES: SORRY I PARTICIPATED

IN THAT.

YES, HE WAS ARRESTED FOR

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, PUBLIC

DRUNKENNESS AND SIMPLE ASSAULT.

WHAT HAPPENED, YOU SEE WHAT

HAPPENED WAS, T.I. SHOWED UP AND

DIDN'T HAVE HIS KEY OR HIS CARD

TO GET IN.

HARVEY: YOU NEED I.D. FOR A LOT

OF THESE GATED COMMUNITIES, EVEN

IF YOU LIVE THERE AND THEY

RECOGNIZE YOU, A LOT OF THE

DISPLAYSES ARE SUPER STRICT

ABOUT THIS.

THEY DON'T WANT ANYBODY COMING

IN WHO SHOULDN'T BE COMING IN,

THEY REQUIRE I.D.S AS A MATTER

OF POLICY.

CHARLES: THAT PART BOTH SIDES

AGREE ON.

AFTER THAT, THINGS GET A LITTLE

MURKY DEPENDING ON WHO YOU TALK

TO.

THE POLICE SAY -- I GUESS THIS

WOULD BE FROM THE SECURITY

GUARD'S POINT OF VIEW, THAT T.I.

WAS ARGUING WITH HIM, WANTED TO

BE LET IN AND THE GUARD DID

EVENTUALLY LET HIM IN.

NOW, HE SAYS THAT T.I. WENT

HOME, EVERYTHING WAS FINE AT

THAT POINT, BUT FOR SOME REASON,

T.I. CAME BACK AND THAT'S WHEN

THEY GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT AND

GOT INTO A HEATED ARGUMENT AND

THE GUARD DECIDED TO CALL

POLICE.

WHEN POLICE SHOWED UP, NOW,

THAT'S FROM THE SECURITY GUARD'S

POINT OF VIEW.

HARVEY: HE SAID HE FELT

THREATENED AND HE WAS GOING TO

GET HIT.

RAQUEL: I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT,

RIGHT.

I BELIEVE THE GUARD IS TALKING

OUT OF THE SIDE OF HIS NECK.

BUT T.I. SAYS THE GUARD WAS

ASLEEP AND -- WHAT IS SO FUNNY?

HARVEY: IT'S THE MOUTH, RAQUEL.

CHARLES: THAT'S A PHRASE.

VAN: SHE IS RIGHT, YOU'RE

WRONG.

LOOK HOW QUICK YOU WERE -- SHE

IS TALKING IN HER CULTURAL

LANGUAGE RIGHT THERE, HARVEY.

HARVEY: I NEVER HEARD THAT

BEFORE.

CHARLES: YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD

THAT BEFORE?

VAN: OF COURSE, YOU HAVEN'T

HEARD IT BEFORE.

CHARLES: WHY DO YOU LAUGH?

I HEARD THE PHRASE, I KNEW WHAT

SHE MEANT.

VAN: WHY DO YOU THINK CHARLES

HAS HEARD IT BEFORE, I HAVE

HEARD IT, RAQUEL HAS HEARD IT.

MAYBE YOU'RE THE ONE THAT NEEDS

TO --

HARVEY: GO ON, RAQUEL.

RAQUEL: SO T.I. CLAIMS THE

GUARD WAS SLEEPING AND ON TOP OF

THAT, TINY IT ALREADY TOLD THE

GUARD TO LET HIM IN.

HARVEY: THE GUARD WAS SLEEPING,

HOW DID THE GUARD OPEN THE GATE.

CHARLES: T.I. SAYS, ACCORDING

TO HIS ATTORNEY, HE PULLED UP,

THE GUARD WAS FAST ASLEEP.

HE HAD TO LIKE WAKE THE GUY UP.

HE TOLD HIM HE DIDN'T HAVE THE

PROPER, THE KEY OR THE CARD TO

GET IN AND TINY GOT ON THE PHONE

AND SAID, YES, THAT'S T.I., MY

HUSBAND, LET HIM IN.

VAN: SO OPEN THE GATE.

RAQUEL: EXACTLY.

CHARLES: T.I. SAYS HE DID NOT

OPEN THE GATE.

HE CONTINUED, WE DON'T KNOW FOR

HOW LONG.

IT SAYS HE CONTINUED TO PUT UP A

FIGHT AND DID NOT WANT TO LET

HIM IN.

HARVEY: IF THAT'S THE CASE,

THAT'S WRONG.

VAN: YOU OPEN THE GATE.

HARVEY: SHE IS SAYING, I WANT

THAT -- EVEN IF IT'S A GUEST,

LET HIM IN.

CHARLES: T.I. ACKNOWLEDGES

ACCORDING TO HIS ATTORNEY, THEY

ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE DID

EVENTUALLY GET IN.

THEY WOULDN'T SAY, HAVEN'T SAID

TO THIS POINT WHY HE CAME BACK

AND WHY HE WAS SO HEATED WHEN HE

CAME BACK.

HARVEY: WAIT A MINUTE.

HOLD ON.

I DO WANT TO RESTART THIS.

SO EVEN IF THE GUARD AND IT

SOUNDS LIKE THE GUARD WAS WRONG

BY NOT OPENING THE GATE ONCE

TINY CALLED.

LET'S ASSUME HE WAS WRONG.

HE OPENS THE GATE.

HE GOES IN.

EVERYTHING GETS RESTARTED AT

THAT POINT.

NOW IT'S ON EVERYBODY ELSE.

WE'RE AT ZERO AND HOW DO YOU

THEN, WHAT HAPPENS THEN?

RAQUEL: IT MAKES A LOT OF

SENSE.

HE PROBABLY BROUGHT HIM HIS KEY,

SHOWED HIM, YOU DISRESPECTED ME.

HARVEY: WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

RAQUEL: A LOT OF REASONS YOU

WOULD DO THAT.

VAN: ONE SECOND.

CHARLES: T.I. WOULD BE UPSET.

HARVEY: WHY GO BACK?

VAN: IF T.I. GETS HOME AND PUTS

HIS STUFF DOWN AND DECIDES HE

WANT TO COME OUT AND ADDRESS

THIS MISUNDERSTANDING WITH THE

GUARD, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?

HARVEY: NOTHING IS WRONG WITH

IT.

RAQUEL SAYS HE WANTED TO GO BACK

AND SHOW HIS I.D., WHY DO THAT

IF --

RAQUEL: I SAID THAT'S A

POSSIBILITY.

I SAID I DON'T KNOW WHY.

IF HE DID GO BACK, RIGHT, IF

SOMEONE MAKES YOU FEEL -- THEY

DON'T LET YOU IN YOUR OWN HOUSE,

HARVEY, YOU WOULD BE OK, CONTACT

THE MANAGER, SOMETHING LIKE

THAT.

HARVEY: HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO

GO BACK.

THEN WHAT HAPPENS?

VAN: THEN HE GETS WHAT BLACK

PEOPLE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY ARE

GETTING, THE POLICE CALLED ON

HIM.

RAQUEL: THEN THE HIP-HOP COP

CAME AND DECIDED TO SIT THERE

AND JUDGE THE SITUATION WRONGLY.

VAN: THE SAME THEY HAVE BEEN

DOING -- LISTEN, I I DON'T KNOW

WHAT HAPPENED, I WASN'T THERE.

IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WHERE YOU

FEEL YOU ARE IN THE WRONG,

PEOPLE GO AND TALK TO PEOPLE AND

REPORT THINGS TO PEOPLE AND TRY

TO SAY LISTEN, I LIVE HERE ALL

THE TIME.

HARVEY: I UNDERSTAND THAT.

RAQUEL: HARVEY, YOU TOLD ME 10

TIMES --

HARVEY: THIS IS THE WEIRD THING

ABOUT IT TO ME.

THIS GUARD WORKS FOR THE

COMMUNITY THAT HE LIVES IN AND

HE OWNS A HOUSE IN.

SO IF THE GUARD IS LIKE

MAKING -- I DON'T KNOW WHAT

HAPPENED, I WASN'T THERE EITHER,

BUT HE IS MAKING A FALSE REPORT,

THIS GUY IS BEGGING TO BE FIRED.

RAQUEL: HE CLEARLY IS BEGGING

HIM TO GET FIRED FOR NOT LETTING

HIM IN HIS OB HOUSE.

VAN: PEOPLE DO IRRATIONAL

THINGS WHEN THINGS ARE CLOUDING

THEIR JUDGMENT.

T.I. LIVES IN A BIG EXPENSIVE

GATED COMMUNITY.

I THINK THAT HE PROBABLY

BELIEVES THAT HE HAS BOUGHT INTO

THE PRIVILEGE INTO THE BENEFIT

OF THE DOUBT THAT YOU SHOULD GET

WITH A HOME IN THAT.

HARVEY: YOU SHOULD GET THE

BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.

WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED

AFTERWARDS.

VAN: THAT'S TRUE.

HARVEY: WE DON'T KNOW.

THE ONE THING I DO KNOW IS I'M

GOING TO USE THE PHRASE "TALKING

THROUGH YOUR NECK."

VAN: AND WHEN YOU START, WHEN

YOU START SAYING IT, WE HAVE TO

MOVE TO SOMETHING ELSE.

[LAUGHTER]

CALLER: HI, I'M FAWN AND I'M IN

FRANCE RIGHT NOW.

I WANT TO COMMENT ON T.I. BEING

ARRESTED FOR THOSE COUPLE OF

MISDEMEANORS.

I MEAN, ALL I CAN SAY IS, I'M

JUST GLAD I DON'T LIVE IN HENRY

COUNTY.

I MEAN, I HOPE THEY USE THE

NONEMERGENCY NUMBER FOR THIS

ALSO.

THIS TRULY WAS AN EMERGENCY.

WHAT HAPPENED, TOO, YOU CAN

ARGUE WITH PEOPLE AS LONG AS YOU

DON'T PUT HANDS ON EACH OTHER.

THE ARGUMENT IT MEANS WE HAVE

DIFFERENT VIEWS.

YOU IMAGINE YOU'RE ARGUING WITH

SOMEONE AND THEY TRY TO LOCK YOU

UP.

HARVEY: IF THAT HAPPENED AND HE

WENT BACK TO ARGUE WITH THE GUY,

WHICH IS FINE, AND THAT GUY

JUMPS THE GUN AND CALLS THE

POLICE, THAT'S MESSED UP.

I Banned Sugar For A Week - Duration: 13:41.

^- Peanut butter and jelly.

- Poo poo.

- Cool, I love having boys!

(upbeat music)

Sugar.

Sugar.

Everything has sugar!

^I'm Hannah.

^I'm the world's OK-est mom

and my family has a sugar problem.

Now, I feel like it's my fault

because I'm a busy working mom

and I let a lot of things slide,

and I kind of say yes a little bit too much.

So now my kids are expecting treats all the time.

And I feel like their behavior is suffering as a result.

They're not getting good sleep.

And they're throwing a lot of tantrums lately.

Now, I'm not a nutritionist, but I think we can all agree

that too much sugar is not good for you.

So I want to try something.

For one whole week, I'm gonna cut out all added sugar

from my family's diets.

Now I'm not saying we're gonna last a whole week.

I'm not saying we're gonna be okay with this.

And we might end up eating each other at the end.

But I'm gonna stay positive and see what happens.

So wish us luck!

So some ground rules for the week

because sugar is kind of a broad term.

The sugar that we were cutting out

was added, processed sugar.

We weren't cutting out fruit,

we're not cutting out fruit juice.

But anything that has sugar added to it,

or any processed sugar at all was off the table.

So I went specially grocery shopping

at the beginning of the week for this experiment.

Goodbye!

So I am pretty shaken up

over how much stuff actually has sugar in it.

I felt completely lost in that grocery store

and I was like, checking every label.

And I'd get through like 90% of the ingredients,

and then boom, at the bottom, sugar!

I was very surprised to see just how much has sugar in it

that I've thrown in my cart and not even thought about.

Like tomato sauce.

When I was looking at the different brands,

I actually found one that didn't have sugar in it.

So had I just taken the time before to check,

I wouldn't be purchasing tomato sauce

^with sugar all this time.

^He's upset 'cause he really wanted Kix cereal

and we're doing cottage cheese and fruit.

Hmm. - I do not like this.

- Well, you're eating your oranges.

I'm proud of you.

^Okay, so I totally forgot we have catered lunch today.

Nope.

Nope.

I don't know what's on this.

Nope.

This is my plate.

It looks like a rabbit's plate.

This is Allison's plate 'cause she eats meat.

(laughing)

But I literally I,

I'm like not looking forward to this.

It's like wet kale.

Getting hungry really dawned on me

that I'm gonna be doing a lot of cooking this week.

^You want dinner?

^- Sure.

- [Hannah] You wanna eat the broccoli I'm making?

- No.

- Yes!

Tonight we're gonna have some roasted broccoli

and some chicken and tri-tip for the boys.

You did pretty good!

Jackson got some broccoli, tri-tip, chicken.

Inside-out PJ shirt.

It is 8 p.m. and we are currently eating.

So in addition to changing my shopping habits,

I had to change my whole wind down, evening,

me time, relaxation habits.

I get home from work, we do dinner, get the kids in bed.

And then that's my time to shine.

And I park my butt right here on this couch,

grab a pint of ice cream, turn on my true crime shows,

and I just

slug out.

Now, I try to deny this to my kids.

I try to pretend like it doesn't happen.

But they know.

^I'm not eating sugar.

^- [Hannah] No I'm not.

^- No.

So the kids are asleep and this is typically the time

that I would raid the freezer

and get some ice cream,

or get some candy.

But I'm not gonna do that.

My body is like, come on, it's time!

But no.

So I'm gonna eat some kale snacks that my mom gave me.

^So, I made this oatmeal this morning.

^It took forever and I'm gonna throw some blackberries on it.

And that's breakfast!

I ended up having to make oatmeal from scratch

because a lot of the packaged oatmeal

and the instant oatmeal has sugar in it if it's flavored.

- The oatmeal is really good.

^- [Hannah] Oh my god, you like it?

^- Yeah!

^- Nice!

They were super excited about the oatmeal I made,

and were like, oh, it's actually good!

That's some dank oatmeal.

I probably shouldn't say dank.

Dank is done 'cause I said it.

Dank is officially over.

No one can say that anymore.

I'm sorry to the youth.

So very quickly, I realized that at work,

I needed to bring all of my own food

because I work at Tasty.

It's the most epic food channel ever

and there's always the most delicious food

just coming out of that kitchen 24/7.

It's just too tempting with all the snacks,

and all the catered lunches

and all this delicious food that's always there.

^Nick and I are having our healthy lunches.

- [Nick] Well, mine's not that healthy.

- Kind of.

I want dessert!

I didn't bring a piece of fruit.

I should have brought like a piece of fruit with me.

And I ended up starting to live vicariously

through my co-workers.

Can you just taste it and tell me how it tastes?

- Yeah.

Mm, mm.

- [Hannah] Am I missing out?

- Yeah.

- There's something really satisfying

about watching someone else enjoy food.

I'd be like all up in their mouth.

Like let me see.

It's chocolate and white chocolate and shortbread.

Is it good? - Mm.

^- All right, another morning, another breakfast grind

and lunch grind.

What do you want?

- I want a cheese quesadilla.

- Jackson has requested oatmeal,

and Wyatt has requested a quesadilla this morning.

So I'm making it because it doesn't have any sugar.

But it's really tough when they each ask

for something different.

And I have to make two breakfasts.

I'm actually feeling okay today.

My face is a little less puffy.

Usually it's really puffy when I wake up.

And I think that's partially due to the excessive amount

of ice cream I eat at night (laughs).

For me, I have a really big sweet tooth

and I realized throughout this week how much

I rely on sugar for energy throughout the day.

I am the first one home this evening.

So I'm going to go ahead and start making dinner.

Today was pretty difficult

but I feel like it's getting easier.

Although, I do have a crazy work week this week

and I have noticed that me craving sugar

has kind of clouded my ability to work a little.

'Cause I'm thinking about it a lot more

and kind of craving it.

But I have a great dinner planned tonight.

I'm making a falafel feast with this flatbread,

and hummus, and garlic spread,

and tabboleh, and tzatziki, and olives,

and it's gonna be delicious.

I'm very happy with this dinner.

The kids already ate.

I do feed them, I promise.

^Towards the end of the week, I really thought

^we had jumped over a hurdle.

Like we were on our way and doing great.

But then, I made the mistake of deviating

from my usual, special oatmeal

and I decided to make pancakes.

And I used this pancake mix that's, you know,

full of wheat flour, and protein, and no added sugar.

But then when I served 'em, I realized

I had nothing to put on top of them.

And that did not go over well.

He's crying cause I won't put syrup on his pancakes.

(crying)

I'm sorry sweetheart.

(crying)

So Matt agreed to participate in this experiment as well,

which I was really excited about

'cause we're all doing it as a family.

Obviously, we eat breakfast and dinner together

but I wanted him to suffer,

(laughs) like I was suffering.

But I don't know if I quite trust that he followed through

every day when he was gone at work.

How'd you do today?

- No added sugar.

- Oh, really? - I had a veggie burrito.

- Oh, really? - Mm-hmm.

- Hmm, really?

In his defense, I didn't make it easy for him.

Do you want ice cream?

Should we cheat?

- No. - No?

- It's been like five days.

Let's keep going.

- [Hannah] We have Magnum bars in the freezer.

- Why are you saying this?

- And just so you guys know

that I haven't edited this to make myself

look completely guilt-free

and like I did this experiment perfectly,

I have a confession.

^I messed up.

^- She cheated!

^- I messed up, I didn't mean to.

It was totally by accident.

I had a co-worker who was like, tasting all these things,

and she's like, can you taste this

and tell me if it's spicy?

And I'm like, oh, I love spicy food.

And I put it in my mouth and the second I did

I was like, ah, I can taste the sugar on it!

I just, my hands just grab food if it's offered.

And they just move right to my mouth.

My hands have a mind of their own, okay?

^Day six.

^Got my eye pads on.

For breakfast we are doing

a totally health food packed smoothie.

Oh, okay.

- Doughnuts, doughnuts!

- [Hannah] No, he's joking!

- I want doughnuts!

- Now, on the final day of this week we had an event.

My really good friend's son was turning three.

And she's having a big backyard birthday party for him.

There is nothing more tempting, sugar-wise,

^than a birthday party.

^So we're on the way to the birthday party.

^We have two arguing kids in the back.

So I'm a little nervous because they're already

in kind of gnarly moods and they haven't napped today.

How do you think we're gonna do

at this birthday party with no sugar?

- Oh yeah.

To be continued on that.

- So far, so good.

There's a bounce house.

- There he is.

- So, so far, so good.

At the end of the party, we were doing so well.

We're packing up our stuff to go

and I made the fatal mistake of peeing.

You parents out there know, you can never go

to the bathroom without something horrible happening.

Would you take a cupcake out

of your very temperamental three year old's hands

at a party with a bunch of other parents?

Yeah, no, I was not about to go there.

But then (laughs), when Wyatt has a cupcake in his hands,

that's not fair to Jackson.

So Jackson needs a cupcake and it just triggered

this chain of events of, like, ah you get a cupcake,

and you get a cupcake,

and I had to literally, like, yell at Matt

to back away from the cake.

Think about it.

Drop the knife.

Walk away.

Walk away.

Stop the cupcake cycle!

Like, stop.

Everybody stop.

And here's the kicker of the whole cupcake situation.

While I was in the bathroom,

Matt was outside with the kids.

Now, I'm not accusing him

of giving Wyatt the cupcake himself.

But all I know is that he assisted in unwrapping it.

- [Matt] Here, buddy.

- So, in total, we made it six and 3/4 of a day,

which is six days longer

than I really thought we would last.

Good enough.

So in conclusion, my learnings from this week.

One of the main reasons why I did this experiment

is because I was looking to see how it would affect my kids.

I was looking at their temperament, their behavior,

and their sleeping habits.

And I definitely saw improvement in all three.

They really did seem to have an improved mood

and more energy and just not crashing

so much at the end of the day.

Now for me, it kind of had the opposite effect.

I was so aware that we weren't eating any sugar,

it just made me think about it all the time.

And so I felt very distracted throughout the week.

(crunches) I'm really happy.

I love kale.

I love grass.

I kind of envy my kids, 'cause they were,

for the most part, oblivious to this experiment

because they have someone just making food for them.

I kind of wish I had this magic food maker

who just decided everything I got to eat.

Instead of me just eating a bunch

of cottage cheese all week.

So going forward, I really think

that there are a lot of swaps that we can do

and a lot of things we can be more conscious of.

Instead of cereal, serving oatmeal.

Or instead of packaged fruit bars,

we'll just eat fresh fruit.

I think those are little swaps and little changes

that are gonna help us long-term.

And I'm definitely gonna be more mindful

shopping in the grocery store to look at the ingredients

and really look for what I'm bringing into our house.

Because all of it has freakin' sugar!

All of it!

Ugh!

So that's all I got for today.

I'm Hannah and if you have any tips or tricks

to get your kids to eat better,

please leave them in the comments.

But be nice to each other, guys.

Because we're all just trying to get by here.

^Or you can text me, this is a real number,

Watch Out For This MIA KHALIFA Virus - Duration: 3:23.

Too many bad taste jokes about adult film stars and viruses….lets just not…

I guess.

Hello and welcome back to IO.

I am your host Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking about Mia Khalifa like it is 2016!

So for those of you that don't know who this lady is, she is a former adult movie

star who hit it big on a certain paid adult website, becoming their most searched actress.

These days she has quit the industry, but still remains in the public eye.

Basically, cyber criminals have been using Mia Khalifia's likeness in an adult game

to spread spyware.

The Mia Khalifa game downloads malware and spreads malicious links.

These links then take unsuspecting clickers to a virus laden website that infects the

device with other bad applications and connects to a server to upload private data from your

device.

The game also sends the infected devices unixcode to a mysterious number.

Seemingly the virus ridden game is targeting its attack to Android and Windows Users and

is more than capable of stealing private data, contacts and phone numbers, hacking into your

photos and sms messages.

This information is then stored and god knows what happens.

Apparently the game also asks for credit card information, which is really worrying.

The game was being promoted by a twitter account with 67 thousand followers.

Similarly, multiple twitter accounts were pushing victims towards a game called virtual

girlfriend.

It seems it isn't just Android and windows that the maikspy malware it is targeted it,

it is desperate men.

Is that too much of a generalisation?

Maybe.

I'd let the stats do the talking if I could!

The attackers behind Maikspy have changed domains and IP addresses over the years but

all were traced to a hosting company in the USA.

Internet protection experts the only way to use apps safely is to download them from a

credible source, such as Google Play or the app store.

If you have accidentally downloaded the Mia Khalifa or girlfriend app on your desktop

computer, then you need to uninstall, then delete the file from your applications and

the empty the trash.

I am not the go to computer and phone malicious app wizard, though, so you should probably

visit some malware removal forums or get tech help.

Basically, the moral of this story is, no matter how much you want to play with seedy

apps, don't ever download them from non legit place…and also, maybe check yourself.

Okay, that is all I have on that story, before I go I am just going to reply to a few comments

from a previous video I did about the iPhone Ten Plus leak.

Curtis Grove Wrote: I don't need some PHONE?

I can use my potato for everything... nutrition (eat), entertainment (stare), and communication

(THROW IT!!)?

Staring at a potato is my favorite form of entertainment.

Mistress Jen Wrote: I'll be honest, when I saw the title, saw the word LEAKED in all

caps like that, first through, sounds messy.

Ha.

Also, a lot of you were saying nice things about my dress….which is nice of you.

Thanks.

Babson has been developing entrepreneurial leaders globally for

decades. We are known for developing startup entrepreneurs. Also, small and

medium enterprise leaders, family business leaders, corporate leaders,

not-for-profits, governance, and of course, we have also been doing this for

academic leaders. We have trained globally thousands of leaders in the

field of entrepreneurial leadership. The ELI Asia program is specifically focused

for developing leaders in academia. The way we consume knowledge and the way we

actually share knowledge today has changed significantly in the last 15-20

years. And so, we are also developing the future leaders. So, it's imperative on us,

as faculty, to develop ourselves as leaders, to see ourselves as leaders, and

be great academic leaders. And, there are different types of leadership. Of course,

Babson's forte is entrepreneurial leadership, but there can be

transformational leadership, there is military leadership, and there is also

service leadership. In this program we have put together great recognized

leaders in all these different types of leadership. And, we also have a great

cohort that will be coming and trying to find their own style of leadership. Again,

welcome to ELI Asia.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could have played for Arsenal, says Arsene Wenger - Duration: 2:23.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could have played for Arsenal, says Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger says he could have signed both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi during his time managing Arsenal.

Wenger, whose 22-year reign in north London came to a close at the end of the season, has revealed how he tried to sign both superstars for the Gunners.

Ronaldo, instead, signed for Sir Alex Fergusons Manchester United before moving to Real Madrid.

Despite Wengers best attempts he said he was unable to prise Messi from Barcelona, just as he did with a youth-team mate of his, Cesc Fabregas.

Wenger told the clubs website: The obvious player [Arsenal missed out on] that comes to mind is Ronaldo.

He was here with his mother and we were very close.

Then Man United came in and they had Carlos Queiroz at the time, who was their coach.

United played against Sporting Lisbon and Ronaldo was outstanding and they signed him.

Once we were at £4.5m, we were still in negotiations.

David [Dein] met with [agent Jorge] Mendes in Paris and he was representing Sporting, so we were very close.

But Man United went to £12m, which we could not afford at thetime.

I met Cescs [Fabregas] parents and at the time we were interested in Messi and [Gerard] Pique as well.

We tried for the three but of course, it didnt work out.because of the agents.

With Messi, Barcelona didnt want to lose him of course and they made [the offer] that was needed to keep the player at the club.

Comprehensive Support for College Bound Students Introduction - Duration: 3:15.

BILLIE: So, before we get started, just a few words about the Zoom platform.

So, you'll see a menu bar on your screen,

so you can click the chat button to ask presenters questions

and to introduce yourself.

Please indicate when you ask questions if there's a panelist

or panelists that your question is directed toward.

As well, you can see the live captions

by clicking the closed caption button on that menu bar.

Next slide.

So, briefly, I want to start by introducing today's presenters.

So, we have Dr. Elizabeth "Lyzz" Davis

from the American Institutes for Research,

who'll be presenting on some recent REL Midwest research.

We have Gina Deom, Barbie Martin and Jarod Wilson

from the Indiana Commission of Higher Education,

and they'll be talking about the 21st Century Scholars Program.

We also have Bryce Fair

from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education

who'll be talking about the Oklahoma Promise Program.

And last, but not least, my name is Billie Day.

And I'm a researcher at American Institutes for Research.

I'm the moderator of today's webinar.

And for full disclosure, I'm an early recipient

of the Indiana 21st Century Scholars program.

And I owe it to them for where I am today.

Next slide.

Today's agenda: during the webinar today,

you'll learn how states can support college-bound students

through comprehensive financial and academic programs.

You'll also have time towards the end to ask panelists questions.

Next slide, please.

So, I'll first begin by telling you

a little bit about REL Midwest.

So, REL Midwest is one of the Regional Educational Laboratories,

and is part of a network of ten Regional Educational Laboratories

funded by the US Department of Education's

Institute for Educational Sciences, more commonly known as IES.

So, REL Midwest serves seven Midwest states:

Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Next slide, please.

REL Midwest works in partnership with practitioners

to conduct applied research and provide in training, coaching

and technical support, as well as other engagement activities

to help partners really understand and use evidence in research.

So, REL Midwest works for school districts,

state education agencies and other education-serving

organizations in the Midwest states. Next slide.

I got ahead of myself there, so you'll see this, as well.

We work a lot with practitioners to really make sure

that they understand how to use research and evidence

in the work that they do. Next slide.

So, to address the priorities and interests of our states,

REL Midwest supports five research alliances

and a networked improvement community,

as well as other emergent partnerships.

So, the topics often include teacher preparation,

achievement gap, career readiness,

early childhood education, and knowledge utilization.

Rescued Pangolins Treated for Injuries - Duration: 2:43.

[Narrator] Save Vietnam's Wildlife is a lifeline for

pangolins rescued from the black market.

They've received over 400 this year alone.

And more are arriving all the time.

[Thai Van Nguyen] No sadly, we lose one and that

has been by snare trap by the belly and then its open wound.

[Narrator] Fifteen Sunda pangolins were confiscated near the Vietnamese border with China.

The team assesses the surviving animals for any sign of injury.

They've all been vomiting a yellow substance.

[Maria Diekmann] And what is the yellow indicating?

That they were force fed?

[Thai Van Nguyen] Yeah.

That is the tubes where they try to put inside the belly of the pangolin

and put through the mouth, so you will see, this here.

[Woman] Put the towel on here.

[Man] Hold the line.

[Man] I'm holding it too argh!

[Narrator] These pangolins were destined for the dinner table and force-fed

to increase their weight and price.

[Thai Van Nguyen] Oh look that's in.

[Maria Diekmann] Every single one of these pangolins went

through that same thing?

[Thai Van Nguyen] Yeah, they.

[Maria Diekmann] So they were all handled by a bunch of

loud noisy people pumping things, rice into their stomach.

[Thai Van Nguyen] Yeah, yeah.

[Narrator] When frightened, a pangolin's first defense is to roll

into a protective ball, but this makes it easy

prey for poachers.

Most of the animals are mercifully free from injury.

[Maria Diekmann] You hungry maybe?

[Narrator] But one young male is in real trouble.

His back leg has been severed, most likely by a snare.

[Thai Van Nguyen]: Oh my god, oh.

[Maria Diekmann] It should get him a pretty good chance of survival.

[Thai Van Nguyen]: We just do our best we can and yeah so

hopefully the vets can, doing some operation tomorrow.

The 3 Best Natural Remedies for Insomnia | Health Today - Duration: 6:31.

The 3 Best Natural Remedies for Insomnia

Insomnia is a guest who is never welcomed.

However, it's not considered to be a disease, the condition may have very negative consequences on a person.

It can be caused by different factors, including your daily routine.

Just by being very busy, not managing your work and stress well, and having an unhealthy diet can negatively impact your rest.

The accumulation of stress or even having new concerns may cause you to have trouble sleeping.

Anxiety, depression, and even bipolar disorder contribute to a conditions that costs you several hours of sleep.

Insomnia can also take place to your body's natural response to adapting to a change in time zone.

However, this is doesn't mean you have reached a dead end.

There are some natural remedies that will help you fight insomnia and most of them are already at home.

Here are some below:.

1-Tea

Linden tea is known worldwide for its sedative properties. This herb will help you fall asleep and get rid of insomnia. It's also great for relaxing the muscles.

Valerian is another option. This plant, like linden, is a sedative and will relieve insomnia.

Valerian is very strong so you should use it in moderate amounts when preparing this tea.

2-Milk

Hot milk is another traditional home remedy for this condition.

The melatonin in milk is what helps you fight insomnia.

You can make it even more effective just by adding a little honey.

3-Aromatherapy

This treatment is all about the nose. The brain can interpret the scents of certain oils as "tranquilizers". They're candles that emit these scents to help you fight insomnia. It's a good idea to initiate the aromatherapy 20 minutes before going to bed. The most common scents are rose, orange, lemon, and lavender.

Other considerations

There are certain methods that can help your brain and body adapt to better sleeping patterns, and get rid of insomnia.

You won't notice the results immediately, but it won't take long for them to take effect.

One of the first things you can do is to stop taking naps. Thus, your body will be tired at night and you'll be able to fall asleep easily.

Turn off the lights. If you have the TV on or your phone in your hand, it's harder to fall asleep. Bright lights specifically keep your brain active and prevent you from resting.

Be careful what you read. At night it's best to read a book instead of your phone or a computer screen.

Likewise, avoid social networks and the news because they can affect the content of your dreams and quality of sleep.

Change your habits!

Exercise regularly to use up all of that extra energy and rest peacefully at night.

Working and exercising daily should make you tired enough in order to make insomnia not part of your life.

Avoid caffeine. Coffee is the perfect beverage to improve your mental and physical performance, but it's a bad idea to drink it during evening hours. Don't give your brain a reason to stay active late at night.

Chocolate isn't helpful either. Eating sugar at night will only stimulate your brain and force it to be active.

The same effect happens while being under the influence of alcohol because it impairs the body. This also prevents you from falling asleep.

You should try to abstain from products that contain nicotine, such as cigarettes. This is true in general, — not just at night, — because it's bad for your health.
