6 Top Cruising Books For Cruise Lovers - Duration: 4:57.

In this video I'm going to talk to you about cruising books that will help you

find discover and have incredible cruises. I'm Gary Bembridge of Tips For

Travellers. One of the things that I've done is written a couple of books

about cruising. One of the reasons I did that is I struggled to find books that

really helped with cruising. There's lots of resources, videos, blogs, things like

Cruise Critic but there's not many good old-fashioned

books. When I first got into cruising, one of the greatest books that I found

was this book which is the "Berlitz Guide to Cruise and Cruising". It's written by a

guy called Douglas Ward and he basically spends all year on board ships.

It's a great book. It's fantastic because what it does is talks a little

bit about what cruising, talks about the different cruise lines, it

talks about every single ship and rates every single ship. It gives guidance

for every single ship. It's updated every single year. I found it really helpful

and certainly when ever cruising I take it with me and the different

ships that I see in ports I am able to look up and better understand

about those ships and if they are right for me. What I'm going to talk about now

are the books that I've created to try and help cruisers. The first of

these is this book here. This book is called the "Cruise Travelers Handbook".

It's part of a series of handbooks which include things like family travel, solo

travel, volunteer travel, career break travel. The one I wrote is the one about

cruising and in this book what I do is I talk about all different types of

cruising whether it's ocean cruising, river cruising. I also talk about more

unusual types of cruising such as barges and if you want to

go cruising on freight ships. It's a really good guide for first-time cruisers. It

contains all sorts of information about everything from norovirus to seasickness,

to what you'd expect on board, what the role of people onboard is. So it's a really

good guide particularly the first time cruiser. You can find it

both in paperback version and also as a digital download. The next book that

I have is called "Essential Cruise Tips: what every cruiser needs to know". This

goes into much more depth, so whilst the Cruise Traveler's Handbook gives a good

overview of all sorts of cruising, this gets into very specific detail on lots

and lots of areas. So for example in the excursion area it will go

into detail about the different options you can have with

recommendations on different providers. It discusses the pros and

cons and goes into lots of detailing for things like packing and dress codes. So the Cruise Traveler's

Handbook is a great overview, the Essential Cruise Tips goes into lots

of detail. It is only available as a digital download. If you're

interested in river cruising I have a book called "European River Cruising Tips,

Tricks and Advice" that basically talks about European river cruising. It talks

about, in some depth, some of the providers, some of the options and

provides general tips and advice around European river cruising. This book like

the other books that I write is constantly updated and one of the great

things, particularly if you download it digitally, is you should be alerted when

there's new editions or versions available and you can update it with the

latest information. As I learn new things as I experience different cruise

lines or things change in the industry, I update the Essential Cruise Tips and

the European River Cruising books. The next two books are very specific and

they're about Cunard. I have one book which is called "Cruising with Cunard". This

is a very extensive book and it talks about Cunard in great detail. The other

Cunard book I've got is around doing a world cruises with Cunard and the book

here is called "Taking a World Cruise with Cunard Cruise Line", and what this

does is documents a world cruise and takes you through day-by-

day the experience of going on a world

cruise which is what I did. It talks about what happens across each

day and is packed full with lots of advice, lots of tips. All the sort of

things you could expect. It also has chapters on planning for and making sure

you get the most of a world cruise and the things you need to think about to

prepare for like at home and budgeting. As I mentioned if you want to find any

of these books the links are in the show notes or simply on Amazon to search for

"Gary Bembridge". The key books are the Cruise Traveler's Handbook (which is

available in paperback and digital), Essential Cruise Tips (what every cruiser

needs to know), European River Cruising (tips, tricks and advice), Cruising with

Cunard and Taking a world cruise with Cunard Cruise Line. So there you have it. there's some great books about cruising. as I mentioned you have that

book the Berlitz Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships by

Douglas Ward. It's a fantastic book and the reason I've done many of these other

books is because I just felt there was a real opportunity to create other books on

cruising that I just couldn't find. I hope you've enjoyed this video you found

it helpful. Please as always subscribe to the Tips For Travellers

channel because you get much more travel inspiration, advice and tips.

Momentum for Change - Duration: 2:02.

People are tired of the same old politics.

They want a change.

It starts with having somebody that is presenting authentic leadership.

Who generally cares, who's compassionate and caring for Maine people.

and empowers people to reach their greatest potential.

I feel, as a 20-something, working for Adam Cote, that Adam shares all of my values

and all my social ideas about what this country should be and what this state should be.

But I also think he has the knowledge and ability to identify what the problems are that most Mainers face

and actually come up with a plan to address those.

I don't see anybody else that has what he possesses. I really don't.

That's why I firmly believe and am firmly behind Adam.

I basically tell my colleagues from all over the state, I say, you need to talk to him.

You need to meet him, then you will understand.

I think our state really needs someone who will be a leader,

who will bring people together.

Who will look at the state as a whole as opposed to rural vs. urban vs. right vs. left.

I think that we need new leadership in the state of Maine, I think we have kind of seen a lot of the same old, same old

and it's not working for people.

I think that we need somebody who is focused on the issues that matter to young people

and when it comes to Maine, the issue that matters to young people is can I stay here, and can I work here?

They want somebody up there that is going to fight for them

and Adam is bringing a new perspective to this.

I just think he has the heart and the soul to get it done.

What you see him do is, you see him listen

and come to reason, and understand and then act with a commonsense approach.

We need a Democrat that can appeal to the Second Congressional District as well as the First Congressional District.

That seems to be exactly the strength that Adam has, he has an appeal that can go through out the entire state.

Adam is going to do the right thing for the people of the state of Maine.

Preparing for Contact - Duration: 15:29.

Preparing for Contact

by Anela Izadi Ph.D.

Based on the archeological findings, whistleblower and contactee testimonies, there is no doubt

that humans have been visited by various ET races for centuries.

Through certain times in our history, ETs and inner-earth beings walked freely among

us and even acted as our teachers and Gods, influencing our current reality.

At some point in our evolution, open human-ET interaction ceased as our collective memory

of the events faded.

However, as Rebecca Hardcastle, Ph.D. points out, humans possess extraterrestrial consciousness

which links us directly to our ET ancestors.

It appears that the time has come for humanity to remember on an individual and global scale

who we are, where we came from, and our purpose in the Universe.

Unfortunately, our stratified political structure has been a hindrance to the unveiling of our

collective memories and to the disclosure process involving our historical events and

human-ET interactions.

Fortunately, as Dr. Salla says, the First Contact is not a purely political process

but rather it is also a social process due to the large number (millions in USA alone)

of ordinary individuals having direct interactions with ETs.

In this article I am going to focus on this social process in relation to preparation

for contact.

Those Who Believe vs. Those Who Dont

A 2015 Newsweek poll found that 54% of Americans believe in ET existence and approximately

30% of those believe that we have had contact with ETs, which has been covered up by our

government(s).

A 2012 survey by National Geographic found that 77% of Americans believe that ETs have

been visiting Earth.

The key word in these polls is belief. Whether the belief in ET existence, or communication

is true is not a prerequisite for the belief itself.

For example, an individual with no ET contact who believes that ETs exist and have contacted

humans can share the same belief with an individual who is an abductee or a contactee.

The former individual has a priori, non-empirical knowledge, which is independent of their experience

while the latter has a posteriori knowledge that is acquired by experience.

To prepare for contact, whether as a collective or as an individual, those who dont believe

ETs exist must participate in the process of changing their belief system through attaining

a priori or a posteriori knowledge base.

The belief in the existence of ETs is the foundation upon which an individual or a group

prepares for contact.

Our government(s) make this process more challenging by refusing to officially disclose existence

of ETs and by persecuting whistleblowers like Phil Schneider.

However, due to social media connectivity across the globe and ease of travelling, sharing

of ET-related information and knowledge is becoming increasingly difficult to control.

It appears though that partial government-controlled disclosure is underway either because of governments

inability to control the social process and spread of information or because of the secret

government-ET interactions where our government(s) feel pressured to start the disclosure process

On the other hand, what must the individuals with either a priori or a posteriori knowledge

base prepare for?

One word comes to mind

Acceptance.

Psychological Reactions to Life-Changing Information

Elisabeth Kbler-Ross was a Swiss-American psychiatrist who was one of the early scientists

to study near-death experiences.

In her book On Death and Dying, she discussed the five stages of coping with grief as related

to death and dying.

The five stages are abbreviated as DABDA and stand for:

Denial Anger

Bargaining Depression

Acceptance

Since 1969, when her book was published, these five stages have been accepted as the best

description of the psychological responses individuals experience when faced with any

life-changing situations.

These stages are reactions to events and are unique to each person who is experiencing

them.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that not everyone who experiences a life-changing

event feels all five of the responses in their linear progression.

I believe that the knowledge and understanding of these qualitative descriptors of human

emotional states can be used to prepare individuals and groups for indirect and direct conscious

contact with ET or inner-earth races.

The two stages that I will focus on in this article are Denial and Acceptance with brief

description of anger, bargaining, and depression as they relate to realization and knowledge

of the ET presence among us and the ET interaction with humans.

Denial

When an individual experiences a traumatic event (i.e. car accident, alien abduction)

not remembering what happened is a common occurrence because the brain shifts its focus

from making memories to escaping danger.

It enters the survival mode or the basic fight-or-flight response.

The same happens on an emotional level when an individual is faced with life-changing

information (i.e. their religion is a cult, ETs are real).

He or she enters the denial stage, which can last from a brief moment to a lifetime.

During the fight-or-flight response, excessive production of noradrenaline destroys the brains

ability to store memories.

Adrenaline rush facilitates quick reflexes and extra physical strength focusing the individual

only on knowledge beneficial to survival.

Immediately after the inciting event, the individuals first thought is rooted in

disbelief and denial (i.e.

Did I really experience this?

This is not real.

This did not happen.)

Humans have evolved or are made not to see reality as it is.

Instead, we perceive reality with our senses.

Our behavior in response to any reality is directed toward our survival (physical, mental,

and emotional) and not necessarily the truth.

In addition, based on our individual knowledge base, we can mentally and emotionally process

only what we know.

Our ability to resort to denial when faced with something we cannot mentally or emotionally

process is the greatest hindrance to our spiritual evolution as well as to conscious interaction

with ETs.

Our ignorance (intentional and un-intentional) of our perceptions outside the realm of five

senses compound the problem of processing the information that seems unreal or out of

the realm of our current reality.

I believe this is the reason as Carl Jung suggested why majority of ET contact experiences

occur in Delta brain wave range while the person is in deep sleep and why ETs appear

to abduct or contact individuals while they are in Theta/Delta brain wave ranges.

Interaction with ETs while in Theta/Delta brain wave range removes an individuals

ability to fight-or-flight, reducing the hormone-induced physical stress response.

It also brings to focus reality that was not perceived with our five senses.

As the interaction takes place within our subconscious or even in an unconscious state,

the experience is reduced to a dream-like quality and memories which have to be processed

on an emotional level.

The more we start paying attention to our senses beyond the physical five senses, our

dreams and emotional states, the more we become prepared for this contact to occur.

At the same time, it becomes easier for contact to take place and be remembered.

The sooner we stop denying our experiences, we can establish conscious contact in the

Alpha/Beta brain wave range.

Author and contactee Lyssa Royal suggests that ETs prefer human-ET interaction to take

place in the Theta/Delta brain wave range because it is the equivalent of the ET waking

state.

Although this is highly possible, I believe that human-ET interaction in Theta/Delta range

are related to neutralizing our responses and making them more predictable.

Our unpredictable physical responses could present a safety hazard to the ETs and ourselves

during the interaction.

However, as someone who is a sleep walker, I can attest to being in Delta brain wave

range, being physically active around our home, and fully remembering what I was doing

while sleep walking.

As I tell my husband, what happens in Theta/Delta brain wave range, stays in Theta/Delta brain

wave range.

Dreams are easier to deal with and harder to deny than the Alpha/Beta waking conscious

reality of an ET contact unless an individual is predictable to himself and the ETs in his

physical and emotional responses for a face-to-face, consciously aware interaction.

I also believe that majority of us are in telepathic communication with ETs but again,

we are not necessarily consciously aware of it or simply deny that it is the case.

Based on a personal experience, I dont believe that an individual must be in a trance

or a dream-like state for this interaction to take place.

I have also had the experience of attempting telepathy while in a dream state.

It is possible that telepathy is independent of the brain activity and rather depends on

the persons energetic state.

Anger, Bargaining & Depression

As an individual accepts the reality of ET presence or realizes that they are an abductee

or a contactee, they may start to ask, Why me and Why now? Realization that his reality

has been turned upside down, that instead of being on top of the world he is a bottom-feeder,

or that he is not as intelligent as he initially thought, can bring about anger and frustration

which is often directed out at world and at random.

When anger does not bring about inner peace, he may turn on to bargaining especially with

their God or the ETs themselves.

I believe the bargaining stage maybe an emotional reaction which could be easily exploited by

the ETs with a negative agenda.

When it comes to death and dying, individuals who enter this stage learn quickly that it

does not work and inevitably enter the depression stage.

During the depression stage, individuals may experience reactive and/or preparatory depression.

Reactive depression occurs as a reaction to current and past losses.

For example, if a woman realizes that she provided her womb and genetic material to

an alien-hybrid program, she may feel a sense of loss with each pregnancy.

Preparatory depression occurs when an individual feels a deep sense of future loss.

For example, a wealthy oil executive realizes that with the announcement of ET technologies,

he will suffer a major financial loss.

The two whistleblowers/contactees who come to mind to best illustrate their coping mechanisms

when faced with ET presence are Charles Hall and Clifford Stone.

In the simplest of terms, Mr. Hall is left brained and Mr. Stone right brained.

We all have an inherent tendency toward a particular way of assimilating and processing

information.

Right brained individuals focus on the visual and process information in an intuitive way,

absorbing the whole picture then the details in an intuitive fashion, using pictures rather

than words.

The left brain is verbal, processing information in an analytical, linear way, observing first

the details and then formulating the whole picture.

While Mr. Stone experienced anger, bargaining and depression during his preparation for

contact and while actively participating in contact with various ET races, Mr. Hall skipped

right over them while staying in denial stage until he had accumulated enough evidence for

himself to move right into the acceptance stage.

I suspect that this is exactly how the public will react when faced with the information

that ETs are real and have been in secret contact with our government(s) making treaties

which have been withheld from public knowledge.

Depending on an individuals personality and inherent left or right brain predisposition

to analyze information, some will not stay in these stages for long or may skip them

all together while others may take their time to move to the acceptance stage.

I believe that our government(s) are most concerned with the anger stage and will utilize

every possible tool at their disposal to control individuals and masses to minimize harm as

a result of anger directed toward government, ETs themselves and even individual whistleblowers

who have had contact or have been abducted by ETs.

I think it is extremely important to educate abductees and contactees who are trying to

recollect their experiences or make sense of their reality on these stages of psychological

reactions because, in effect, they are grieving.

A part of them dies when they realize they have had these incredible experiences no matter

whether they were positive or negative, and, a new individual is born one with a greater

sense of reality.

Acceptance

As I explained earlier, humans are governed by biological factors and individual-specific

perception when faced with life-changing events.

However, how we respond to these events not only depends on whether we are right or left

brained but also on our two basic primary emotions, love and fear.

As Kbler-Ross says: These two emotions cannot co-exist they are opposites.

From love comes happiness, contentment, peace, and joy.

From fear comes anger, hate, anxiety and guilt.

Acceptance is rooted in love love of something greater than self.

It is giving up ego-based control of people and situations that cannot be controlled.

With acceptance of new belief systems, new knowledge, situations, or previously suppressed

experiences, an individual must do a fair amount of forgiveness to self and others.

The acceptance stage is marked by peaceful resolution and quiet expectation of inevitable

future to come.

Time spent in acceptance is spent in inward contemplation and letting go of all negative

emotions.

I love Eckhart Tolles definition of acceptance as a this is it response to anything

occurring in any moment of life.

When a person stops struggling to resist whatever they are facing, they become psychologically

stronger because of the peace and serenity that overtakes their emotional and physical

responses.

When we as individuals and a society at large reach the acceptance stage, we will be ready

for contact.

CPIC guideline for Mercaptopurine and TPMT - Duration: 6:09.

This is a summary of the CPIC dosing guideline for thiopurines and variation

in the gene TPMT.

This video will specifically discuss the dosing guidelines for mercaptopurine.

Videos covering the dosing guidelines for azathioprine and thioguanine can be found

on the PharmGKB website and on the PharmGKB YouTube channel.

This guideline was last updated in April 2013.

Due to the risk of fatal toxicity in patients with reduced or no TPMT activity, the guideline

recommends the use of alternative therapies for nonmalignant conditions or an extreme

dose reduction for malignant conditions.

A dose reduction is also recommended for patients with intermediate TPMT activity.

This image is a simplified version of the PharmGKB thiopurine pathway.

A link to the original pathway is provided in the description below this video.

Mercaptopurine is used to treat cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

It can be administered directly to patients or produced in the body when its prodrug azathioprine

is administered.

Mercaptopurine is extensively metabolized in cells to ultimately form active

thioguanine nucleotide metabolites.

The TPMT protein, encoded by the TPMT gene, inactivates mercaptopurine and several metabolites

by methylation.

This reduces the number of molecules available for conversion into active

thioguanine nucleotide metabolites.

If a patient has low or deficient TPMT activity, more molecules are available for conversion

into active thioguanine nucleotide metabolites.

This leads to increased amounts of active thioguanine nucleotide metabolites and puts

the patient at an increased risk of severe or fatal toxicity.

It should be noted that some adverse reactions to thiopurine treatment, including pancreatitis

and hepatotoxicity are not linked to TPMT activity.

There are over 40 known TPMT variant alleles, which are designated as star alleles.

Star alleles are characterized based on their impact on the function of TPMT.

This table shows the functional status of some of the known TPMT star alleles.

A list of the relationships between genotype and predicted enzyme activity for TPMT haplotypes

can be found in Supplementary Tables 1 and 2 of the guideline.

Note that the functional status of some haplotypes have not yet been characterized.

These are listed as having an "unknown" effect on the function of TPMT and should

be interpreted with caution on a genetic test.

An important caveat for all genotyping tests is that a normal function status is given

to all alleles which are not detected in the assay.

This can include rare reduced-function and non-functional alleles which are not routinely

screened for in some genotyping tests.

These are the CPIC dosing recommendations for mercaptopurine.

Patients with two normal function alleles or with normal TPMT activity levels will have

lower concentrations of thioguanine nucleotide metabolites and higher concentrations of methylTIMP,

a secondary metabolite of mercaptopurine.

These patients can be given the normal starting dose of mercaptopurine.

This is a strong recommendation.

Patients with one reduced or deficient function allele and one wild-type allele or with intermediate

TPMT activity levels will have moderate to high concentrations of thioguanine nucleotide

metabolites and lower concentrations of methylTIMP.

These patients should be started at a reduced dose of mercaptopurine.

This is a strong recommendation.

Patients with two reduced or deficient function alleles or with low or deficient TPMT activity

levels will have extremely high concentrations of thioguanine nucleotide metabolites and

no methylTIMP.

If these patients are being treated for a malignant condition, they should be started

at a drastically reduced dose of mercaptopurine.

Alternative therapies should be considered when treating patients with low or deficient

TPMT activity for a nonmalignant condition.

This is a strong recommendation.

The dosing recommendations for mercaptopurine, in addition to those for azathioprine and

thioguanine, can be found in Table 2 of the guideline.

Detailed footnotes pertaining to the recommendations can be found at the bottom of this table.

This guideline has been annotated on the PharmGKB website.

This includes a drop-down menu where an activity summary can be given for specific combinations

of alleles.

The activity summary includes implications for the patient's response to mercaptopurine,

the appropriate dosing recommendation for the specific diplotype and the strength of

that recommendation.

Remember that variation in other genes in addition to demographic and clinical factors,

including concomitant medications, can affect treatment.

It remains the responsibility of the clinician to determine the best course of treatment

for a patient.

CPIC and PharmGKB assume no responsibility for any injury to persons or damage to persons

or property arising out of or related to any use of CPIC's guideline, or for any errors

or omissions.

The guideline itself and supplementary information are freely available at the PharmGKB

and CPIC websites.

How to Move Off for the Driving Test - 5 Tips to help - Duration: 5:46.

In this driving lesson video, I'm going to give you five tips to help you move off properly and efficiently

from the side of the road and from a parking bay

If you want to increase your skills in relation to driving, whether you're a learner

someone preparing for a test or already an experienced driver looking to brush up, then please subscribe to this channel and don't

forget to hit the bell notification where you will be notified whenever I upload a new

driving lesson video.

So tip number one is about remembering this rule here, which is called the 1,2,3 rule

One because you've got one gear stick

two because you've two indicators and three because you've got three mirrors and a blind spot when moving off

So as I was saying 1,2,3 is nice and easy to remember one because you've got one gear stick

Two because you got two indicators and three because you've got three mirrors

and a blind spot, and then I get the bite and go

and that's how we move off from the side of the road.

Tip number two is

to make sure that you get a proper blind spot, and I'll show you what I mean by that right now

Now when I say a proper blind spot, I do not mean doing this

that was just a sideway glance to the right

I'll probably see the footpath and the grass and the wall over there

But what I will not see is what you're about to see now when the camera pans to the right

I will not see that silver car there unless I get a proper blind spot

and it's a silver car there

but it could be a child or a pedestrian or a cyclist on another day

So as I'm moving off the most important step is this that I check all three mirrors

middle one the right one and a

proper blind spot like that so my shoulder here is coming over like that and I have a great view of the car and

everything around the car, so you must get a proper blind spot to increase your observation when moving off.

Tip number three is about getting a bite to assist you when moving off, here's what I mean

another very useful tip moving off is that you should get a bite while doing so

the bite will help avoid rollback

but even if it's not a hill it will actually make you move off a little bit quicker and a little bit more efficiently

so I've covered the bite before in Hill starts and in other videos

So it's basically this- you do into first gear as part of your moving off

you'll be getting a little bit of juice a little bit of acceleration up, and then you bring the clutch up

quick but not too quick until you feel the car connecting and you'll feel a slight rise, it's like a lift on the front of

the car and you'll probably hear the noise going down as well, so here it is now

There. I'll just relax it I'll get it again so a little bit of juice, bring clutch up now

There so if you can hear the noise has gone down and you've probably seen the rise in the car there now

I'm just going to bring it back and go to neutral, so that bite is a great and

important step moving off because it helps the car move off quicker

and it ensures you won't roll back and it leads to a smoother better take off in general.

Tip number 4 is about getting some extra mirror checks as you begin to pull away from the side of the road, here's what I'm talking about now.

So the next tip then about moving off is the importance of checking the mirrors even

after you've checked your blind spot, and as you're in your first

two to three seconds of pulling off

So as you're pulling off you should still keep an eye on the right side mirror as you

pull away just in case something has happened behind you like a cyclist has come or a

car has suddenly come from around the blind bend behind you or whatever

I'll show you what I mean now

and I'll do the one two three and you'll see me doing the extra mirror checks, so one is first gear

Two is indicator, three is all three mirrors

proper blind spot

get the bite then & go and now I'm just keeping an eye on my side mirror here & the middle mirror as well

side mirror again, so I'm just double checking there as I pulled away that everything was okay

and that nothing unexpected had come from behind me as I was pulling off

Tip number five is about moving off from a parking space within a bay where you could have open space

on both sides

So this is me earlier on today moving off from such a space.

In this situation I'm parked in a bay so I'm not parked beside a kerb on the left-hand side so whenever you're moving off from bay parking

like from a car park in a supermarket or whatever

It's important to give a full 360-degree look around to check for everything because there's open space on all sides here

So I'll do it now, I'll go into first gear

I'll actually indicate left because I'm planning on going left anyway

now I'll give a full look around like this, out the back window, sides, out the front

over the blind spot as well

and again on the way back, and I've done a full 360-degree look around there

and out I go then, just make sure there's no traffic coming here

And that's what I would do there, so because there was open space on all sides there, I was anxious there to give a full

360-degree look around just in case anybody was coming up

from behind my right shoulder or left shoulder or from directly behind the car

Undefeated Puerto Rican Bantamweight Manny Rodriguez Ready for Former World Champion Butler - Duration: 2:22.

Undefeated Puerto Rican Bantamweight Manny Rodriguez Ready for Former World Champion Butler This Saturday at 02 Arena

Bantamweight contender Emmanuel "Manny" Rodriguez and his team have landed safely and ready to face former world champion Paul "Baby Faced Assassin" Butler for the vacant IBF World Championship, this Saturday, May 5, at the O2 Arena in London.

Presented by Matchroom Boxing, Rodriguez (17-0, 12 KOs), of Puerto Rico, and Butler (26-1, 14 KOs), 29, of England, will meet in a 12-round supporting bout to the all-British rematch between former World Heavyweight Champions Tony Bellew (29-2-1, 19 KOs) and David Haye (28-3, 26 KOs).

Rodriguez almost had his very promising boxing career derailed for a time by an unfortunate car accident in which he burned 66% of his body.

After a long rehab, he returned, and went on a, thus far, 17-fight tear through the professional ranks.

The 25-year-old was the mandatory contender to face former champion Ryan Burnett, who chose to relinquish his belts.

This allowed for Butler to slide into the fight for the unclaimed belt.

29-year-old Butler previously held the IBF belt, but before defending it, elected to drop down in weight to face then-champion Zolani Tete and was stopped in the eighth round.

He has won nine fights since.

Trump Takes Credit for the North & South Korean Peace Summit | The Daily Show - Duration: 7:05.

Over the past few months,

we've covered multiple stories involving North Korea.

And what's weird is that, at one point,

the story switched from "we're all gonna die!"

to "we're all gonna live peacefully together!"

And this weekend, North and South Korea

took another big step in that direction.

REPORTER: The leaders of North and South Korea

stunned the world with their agreement

to seek peace on the Korean Peninsula

after more than six decades of hostilities.

REPORTER 2: Kim Jong-un has informed

the South Korean president that he is prepared

to abandon his nuclear weapons

if the United States agrees to formally end the Korean War

and promise not to invade his country.

That's right. It turns out all Kim Jong-un wants

in exchange for getting rid of his nuclear weapons

is a promise from Donald Trump...

which is risky.

No. I mean, a promise from Donald Trump

is one of the most worthless things you could ask for.

You might as well ask for tickets

to one of Bill Cosby's upcoming shows.

(laughter and groaning)

And now, and now, although... although this was a summit

about Kim Jong-un giving up some of his power,

there were moments that reminded us that, even without nukes,

he still has plenty of dictator swag to spare.

MAN: As the day rolled on,

more extraordinary images have continued.

Kim's limousine scooting back and forth

across the dividing line,

his personal bodyguards running alongside.

(laughter)

(laughing)

Oh, man! I'm sorry, man.

You know you have too much power

when your car has its own entourage.

Come on. That's...

Like, how are you gonna make your bodyguards

do synchronized jogging alongside your car?

If anything, it makes you less safe, right?

Because the car can only go

as fast as these guys can run. Just...

And also, when you get to where you're going,

now you've just got a team of bodyguards

that are too tired to save your life.

He's like, "Ah, look, uh... he's got a gun.

Ju... You jump behind me. You jump behind me. I'm tired."

Like, I... Like, when I saw this, I was like,

"Do they... do they have to do this all the time?"

Like in the drive-through at Del Taco,

they're still there with the guy?

I just like picturing these guys

when Kim is trying to parallel park.

He's just got nine guys with the car, just like,

"You're good. You're good. Okay, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

"Whoa. You're good. You're good.

Oh, oh. Oh, you hit Jerry! You hit Jerry!"

(laughter)

But once the Limo 500 was over,

it was time for Kim Jong-un to get some exercise of his own.

MAN: The the two leaders seemed to have an instant rapport

the minute Kim Jong-un made history

by becoming the first North Korean leader

to step foot in the south.

In a brief diplomatic dance, he invited President Moon

to cross the military demarcation line

back into the north.

Now, it may look funny,

but we just witnessed a giant moment in history.

That's the first time those leaders have stepped foot

in the other one's country.

Like, you know there was a part of Kim Jong-un, as well,

that just wanted to be like,

"Now please, step into my country.

Got him! I got him!"

(laughter)

In fact, the summit put Kim in such a good mood

that he made a huge change on the spot.

Now North Korea is also changing its time zone

to match South Korea's.

Back in 2015, North Korea set its clocks back a half hour,

and that became known as "Pyongyang Time."

WOMAN: The move was made at the proposal of Kim Jong-un

who found it painful

to see two clocks indicating different times

on the wall of the summit venue.

Yeah, that's right. Kim Jong-un moved

his entire country's time forward half an hour.

Clearly, somebody's watched Infinity War.

Uh, it's also a dick move

for anyone who had an appointment in North Korea.

Like, you didn't... you didn't plan it?

You just announced it out of nowhere?

It's just like, "Hey, I'm here for the job interview."

"Sorry, sir. 3:00 didn't happen today."

(laughter)

And-and you know what I realized this weekend, right?

We see Kim all the time, but we almost never hear him speak.

(Kim Jong-un speaking Korean in deep voice)

Okay. I don't care what anyone says.

That's not his real voice.

Yeah, that is not how he speaks.

Dude is totally pulling a Batman right now.

He knows everyone is watching, and he's like,

(in deep voice): "We have got to have peace in Gotham.

"I mean North Korea.

Alfred, I need the Batmobile and the 12 guys running next to it."

(laughter)

Now look, whatever the reason was, it was nice

to see Kim Jong-un getting along with someone for a change.

In fact, Kim and President Moon got along so well,

it gave us an idea for a new dating site.

(gentle piano music plays)

MAN: Being a dictator can be lonely.

Nobody understands you.

You work long hours,

and you've had all your relatives killed.

You may wonder if there's anyone for you.

Well, wonder no more.

At Okcommander.com, we'll set you up

with world leaders of all types.

(upbeat music playing)

Leaders you can meet with, plant trees,

take long walks on bridges

and hold hands for a very, very long time.

So log on to Okcommander.com.

You've got nothing to lose but your nukes.

(cheers and applause)

-(applause, cheering) -That's love, man.

That's love.

Now, if the North Korea talks

end up in Kim actually giving up his nukes,

this would be one of the greatest peace deals

we've ever seen brokered.

Which is why, believe it or not, South Korea's president says

that President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

Because, he says, this never would have happened

if Trump hadn't played "bad cop."

You know? Like, really bad cop.

Like, worst cop ever. Like, "I'll let you borrow my gun

for five dollars" cop.

And Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize,

or any prize, is an idea that MAGA supporters really love.

I remember, you know, it was very rough

three, four months ago...

(people chanting "Nobel!")

Oh...

That's very nice.

Nobel. (laughs)

-(laughter) -You know, that...

that has to be the world's first Nobel Peace Prize chant.

Like, that's how rowdy Trump's crowds are, though.

They'll chant anything. They'll be at a funeral like,

"Condolences! Condolences! Condolences!

Always in our hearts! Always in our hearts!"

And now, look, I understand, some people argue that Trump

didn't actually do much, but South Korea's president,

he doesn't care, right?

He's happy to share the glory.

And Trump agrees with him, except for the "share" part.

I had... one of the fake news groups

-(crowd booing) -this morning.

Now, they were saying, "What do you think, uh...

President Trump had to do with it?"

I'll tell you what. Like, how about everything.

(cheering)

Yeah, I, uh, I hope they have a Nobel Prize for humility, too,

because this guy, he just killed the game.

UFC, Nate Diaz in serious talks for August return - Duration: 3:05.

UFC, Nate Diaz in serious talks for August return

For the first time in a long time, Nate Diaz appears close to returning to the UFC.

According to multiple sources, the promotion has recently presented Diaz with multiple top-5 lightweight opponents for a fight this summer, and Diaz has expressed interest in returning at UFC 227 on Aug.

4 in Los Angeles.

Diaz, according to sources, wants to be on the card and is interested in at least one name presented to him, though, sources would not confirm who that is at this time.

One thing is clear, though: Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor haven't been discussed as potential opponents, which leaves Eddie Alvarez, Dustin Poirier and Kevin Lee as options.

Second-ranked Tony Ferguson is currently rehabbing his surgically-repaired knee and would not be ready to fight in August.

Alvarez and Diaz have a history dating back to when Alvarez beat Diaz's friend and training partner Gilbert Melendez in Mexico City.

At this time, talks have been described as productive and ongoing, though, no deal is done.

Money isn't a stumbling block right now for Diaz, sources say, it's just a matter of agreeing on an opponent he's interested in.

"He's not just looking for Conor," Diaz's long-time training partner Jake Shields said on Monday's episode of "The MMA Hour.

"He's looking for a fight that makes sense and that's going to give him a big payday and a lot of hype.

News of the talks was first reported by ESPN.

com.

Diaz, 33, hasn't fought since August 2016 when he lost via majority decision to Conor McGregor.

There had been brief talks of him fighting UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in December, but those talks never materialized.

This appears to be the best shot fans have had in a while to see one of the sport's most popular fighters return to action.
