Waching daily May 3 2018

This week, we've been talking about struggles

in our lives.

And today, I want to talk about a different aspect

or angle of those struggles.

It has to do with something that

Jesus said, which is actually kind of famous.

Jesus said,

One of the reasons we suffer

is because we bear

a Christian cross.

Well, let me explain what this means.

So, let's say you wake up in the morning

and you're hurrying,

scurrying around trying to get ready for work

and you trip and oh no,

you fall and you break a bone.

Or let's say you're driving down the road

on your way to work.

And you get into an accident.

Definitely struggles.

You're definitely suffering with those things.

But those are really consequences

of being in an imperfect world,

part and parcel to being on this side of heaven.

The Christian cross is something different.

These are struggles specifically

because you bear the name of Christ.

So, let's say that

you're facing pressure from co-workers at work.

Or maybe you experience

peer pressure to make a wrong choice.

Or you're feeling

the laughing

foolishness

thought from all the media

and those outside and around you that,

that your faith in God,

your Christianity is silly and dumb.

Or how about

just the pressure of resisting

temptation every day?

Those are the struggles of the Christian cross

that Jesus is talking about.

I've heard some preachers out there

in the world

say that if you follow Jesus,

if you really commit yourself to being a disciple,

then your life is going to be great,

it's going to be all rainbows and roses,

cupcakes and frosting.

Well, you know what? If someone

ever says that to you,

they're lying.

Because that's not what Jesus says.

Really, Jesus tells us that yes,

we'll have peace and joy through him,

but it's going to be difficult.

That we have to carry this cross and,

and Jesus says,

"If the world hated me,

"they're going to hate you, too."

And so maybe you've experienced this before.

Maybe you felt at work

like you need to hide your faith.

Because you were afraid of the repercussions

or the reactions.

Maybe you felt

singled out before because of what you believe.

Or maybe you just struggle with

all the evil around you

that you try hard to resist.

If you face these things,

rejoice.

Because guess what?

That means you're a Christian.

You bear the name of Christ.

And you can rejoice even more than that

because you know the one that you follow

is the one who carried a real cross.

And then was nailed to that cross.

To cover over all of your wrongs in life.

To erase

all the sin, those bad things that we do

so that one day he could lift that cross and

burden off your shoulders

and place on you a robe of his righteousness,

a robe of glory

and life everlasting.

If you're suffering

for the sake of being a Christian

because you follow Jesus,

rejoice.

Because that means you're part of his family

forever.

Thank you.

What are the next steps for NeuroChain now that the ICO is over? - Duration: 7:32.

Hello, welcome back to NeuroChain's TV channel.

Good morning, Bruno!

How are you this morning?

Good morning, Lynda!

I'm very well, and I think we're here today to talk about the post-ICO and talk about

some of the news, right?

Yes, we are.

We're going to share with you how many tokens were sold, keep you updated with the events

over the last two weeks.

And we'll also share some visibility about what's coming next.

Yeah, I think that's important I think we wanted to maintain this channel of communication

open.

Many of you asked us to continue to have this news break, so we are going to do this and

let's jump on the topics.

I think we have four topics to talk about.

So what (should) we start with?

Let's start with the ICO tokens!

Absolutely well!

That's probably what most of you want to hear first.

It is about how it went.

Well, it's actually public, we've sold 67.8% of the overall tokens and we were absolutely

happy about this.

You all know that we went in the middle of the crypto storm where the exchange rate of

the Ether compared to Euro was really low like down to 300 (probably the lowest point

when I compare this to last year, when I looked at where it was in June 2017).

It was down to 300 euros per Ether.

We actually reached that point, but although with this difficult situation, we are happy

to say that we have really gathered the right amount of Ethers to go and develop the project,

which is great.

We are now with an Ether that is at $680 so as you can imagine, we have all the funds

that we need to go and develop projects.

We have now kicked up to the development even with a more active rhythm: we have hired;

we're looking for talents right now and we have great engineers and great architects

who are joining us right now.

So very happy about where we are the project is really now in full mode.

Billal and his technical team and the devs are now working on a daily basis, very hard

and I can tell you, a bit in advance that we will be sharing soon some cool information

about some initial releases that they'll be doing in GitHub but we will talk to you a

bit about this very soon.

Certainly very exciting, Bruno!

I hear as well that you're progressing on the exchange.

Would you like to share some information about that with our viewers?

Yes, I think the exchange is a No.1 word that is all over the Telegram like: "When are

we hitting exchange?"

"Where is it?"

"When, when, when, when?"

And I can understand that many of you are very impatient to hear about the exchanges

for obvious reasons.

Well, just a few words about this.

Going to an exchange obviously is one of the objectives but going in there too fast is

not the objective.

We really want to take the time to first of all go and select all those top exchanges,

high-volume exchanges which are going to make a difference.

There are many, many exchanges and they're not all as, let's say, influential, and don't

all have as many customers as really they should have.

So it's important for us that we get on the right one.

Getting into an exchange is a process that could be very costly.

It takes a lot of detailed information to be input and it's important that those exchange

owners understand the nature of the project and that's exactly where we are today.

So we're very confident.

We have received offers for some, let's say more miner exchanges to immediately list

us and we put that on the reserve a little bit and wait until some of the big one have

had a chance to do a study on our files.

And that's exactly where we are today.

So I am not giving a date right now because obviously those conversations are still happening

but you guys can expect some news in the next, say, weeks and certainly months.

The time is obviously something important, but as I said, it's more important to get

on the right one.

So that's where we are right now.

So we'll be keeping you updated as things develop on the exchange.

And what about partnerships?

How are things developing in this area, Bruno?

Well, the partnership is a key information because as we all want to continue to have

a great hype and talk about a lot of things on the telegram and make sure that we still

have a vibrant community.

To really make a community vibrant is to see the real progress of the project and that

it's real.

And those real projects are going to make a difference.

The partnership that we've signed up so far: so we signed up FIMAT (you have interviewed

the CEO of FIMAT Pascal Lauffer.

You interviewed the CIO Laurent Baillet, of the HOPPS Group.

We are currently working with these people to go and develop basic specifications, and

to develop what would be a business application for each of their industry.

That is already going and the lead devs are now working with their teams.

What is going to be done now is that we're expanding to other industries and even some

certain industries (I'll tell you about this in a minute) but we're expanding this.

So basically, we are now going to announce probably two more partnerships in the next

months that I'm actually now working on.

They all signed up and I'm trying to basically put that into a format that anybody would

understand for other industries that are going to be part of the specification development

that we're doing.

And one more: I know many of you hear about what we do with the government and state organizations

so I just met this week basically a very large government organization who is willing to

do something with us.

I'm not giving an affirmation before it's really released but we are now, you know,

figuring out what would be the right angle but they're very eager to go and start something

with us.

You'll hear about this probably not this month, probably in the following months but I certainly

will comment and assure the interest of our viewers.

Great!

Teasing us with future events, here?

Yeah!

And what about shows?

Have you got any plans to attend any shows in the near future?

Right!

So here we have Lynda and the rest of the team who are helping us on the communication

side and the marketing side and one of the key parts is also the events and the ability

to meet some of the investors.

So some of you followed us with Billal while we were in Dubai two weeks ago.

And many of you actually came to us.

That was very nice to come and meet some of you.

We are going to continue to travel the world and meet some of you and meet some investors,

so I just want to announce it.

We are going to the New York Hilton on May 14 and May 16 for the Consensus Worldwide

Show.

So if you are around, it will be great to meet you guys who have just gone and joined

the Telegram that you should see right there.

And make sure that you MP me or Billal, tell us that you are around and we'll figure out

a way to meet everybody maybe in the lobby or something if you can't access or be at

show.

But be there at New York if you're there on May 14 to 16.

We're then going to Berlin on May 28 and 29,

where we have a booth. We don't have a booth in New York, but we'll have a booth in May

28 and 29 in Berlin.

We're then going to the AI Paris event here on June 11 and 12, 2018.

We'll have opportunities to explain and remind already that we're there, but please feel

free to come and visit us.

This is a great opportunity to meet many of you.

Right

Thank you so much, Bruno!

We look forward to meeting you in the future events.

If anyone can drop by, please subscribe if you haven't yet subscribed to our channel

so that you can get the latest news in advance.

Great!

And that's great to continue to have this communication with all of you.

We are going to continue to broadcast a little break and news so please continue to follow

us on this channel that is growing over 500 now and more on Telegram and obviously, there's

more news coming.

Thank you and talk to you soon!

Thank you, bye!

Hi everybody, it's great to have you and I want to continue to talk to you too.

For this you can simply need to subscribe to this channel.

We have more story to tell.

Come and see you soon!

Centre for Aboriginal Studies - Student Yarning Circle - Duration: 2:27.

>> A Yarning Circle is an indigenous way of the community coming together to talk

about things that may be bothering them or to talk about just their everyday life.

It's usually done around a fire but due to being a university campus,

we're not allowed to have fires.

>> It's a comfortable space, you get to face

everyone and listen to everyone kind of one-on-one, and everyone gets a chance to

talk and share their ideas.

>> I've designed a four-day program which is spread out

over the year for two of our courses and spread over six months for one of our courses.

Each Yarning Circle has an agenda. The first two were focused to

university skills, so learning styles, timetabling, how to prepare for

assessments.

>> It's not like having a lecture or being in class, you're just

very much on the same level. Like almost like a family.

>> We look at how

leadership and success and redefining failure can help you progress through life.

>> The Yarning Circle is actually really good. You get to meet new people.

>> The first thing we do we come in and we get food. People always yarn better over

food, there's a comfort thing. And how I set up the room, I put it into a circle.

We want nothing obstructing between two people when they're communicating.

I want them to be on their journey together.

>> As a mentor you know you get them out of their comfort zone, so they could learn

new things about other people.

>> I found the environment really easy to

speak up in. There was no judgment. It's really welcoming.

>> Being around you know

your own people, seeing familiar faces and making family

connections it creates a lot more of a comfortable environment for everyone I think.

With the mentors, they're always a useful person to be around just

for a comfortable conversation and the important things as well.

>> You look to your mentor for advice because they've been there, so they can relate.

>> When we tell our stories it's easier for us because we believe that..."

>> You're developing your speaking skills as well and sharing ideas and learning

more about each other.

>> Get to meet new people, like understand their stories, you know.

>> You can make some friends that way and not for so lonely at uni.

>> It's a way that we can express ourselves and even our vulnerability.

>> I've seen people, you know,

grow and come out of their shell a lot more.

>> It's beneficial, I think we all take something away from it.

Market research for the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter - Duration: 1:38.

Usually when you start a vehicle project,

you think about the requirements the customers have

and then design the vehicle according to that.

But of course, you need some proof if it fits to the customer needs.

And that's what we do with market research.

We take a realistic situation, take a customer and

let him test the whole concept which we've developed for the new vehicle.

For our customers, there are few items which are very important for them.

For example, customers always have bottles with them to drink.

Here inside the door, we have aperfect place for that

which they can also reach during the ride.

But sometimes they also have smaller bottles or cups for example.

There we integrated some smallspaces -

just underneath the windscreen

where it's not in their view.

And then for example, they also have paper or documents,

and if you only put it under the windscreen, you get a very irritating reflection,

so you can just put it under the lid here in the new

Sprinter and then you don't see it and you get a perfect clear view of the street.

For me, the greatest reward would be if the customer

actually experiences this new Sprinter as a perfect working tool.

Daz Spencer leaving Emmerdale for good after drunken revelation?

The Emmerdale cast member was killed in a car accident last week, causing devastation to ripple through the village.

Daz revealed all the details to Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), who was livid that he had dropped the bombshell on her.

Kerry couldnt decide whether or not to keep the secret hidden or break Dan Spencers (Liam Fox) heart, who has raised Amelia since her birth.

Dan didnt want anyone to find out and decided to run away from the village.

But first he had to tell his girlfriend Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) – and she didnt take it well.

"Have a nice life Daz" Bernice Blackstock Youre the perfect woman, he explained.

Ive never been happier.

This isnt about me and you, its just Ive been offered a job, I need to start it straight away.

I cant turn this down, I dont earn enough money working part time at the cafe. Bernice wasnt convinced by the fib one bit, especially when Daz said he would take up a new position on a building site.

So, you got a call out of the blue offering you a job you never applied for? she asked.

Its a lie Daz, just be honest.

Tell me whats really going on. Id tell you if I could, he replied.

I dont want you to get dragged into it.

Youre better off not knowing. Bernice then stormed off, before snapping: Have a nice life Daz..

Kerry walked in to see an upset Bernice, and she was livid that Daz had planned to run off and avoid his responsibilities.

She managed to stop him just in time and hit him with a few home truths – but will Daz come clean or leave the village to escape his past? Emmerdale returns tomorrow night at 7pm on ITV.
