Finals week is finally over so here I am.
I was so busy with 17 units so didn't have that much time for video making.
This performance was during Hmong New year of 2017
This is my first time going and is also
my first attempt with the Hmong language, one of the most challenging languages for me personally
Luckily, I got help from a friend for the pronunciations.
Btw the song is called Lub Sijhawn
[[I looked Hmong so the MC tried to pronounce my name in Hmong and gave up lol.
Here's the translation for the commentaries:
Everyone plz welcome Duyen Huynh!
I don't know if shes Hmong or not but plz clap loudly for her!
She looks Hmong but her name doesn't see Hmong.
Oh well nvm clap loudly once more for her!
I know how to read and write well but her name is very hard to pronounce

I'm Vietnamese I'm not Hmong.
But you did really good!
You could've fooled. Lemme tell you
A lot of Hmong girls nowadays can't even sing Hmong.
Honestly, lemme tell you guys. I have kids that are over 20
And none of my kids speak Hmong.
And I'm Hmong. So you did a great job!

I feel like from now on, my video production could only happen during summer.
