Waching daily May 20 2018

The world still hasn't recovered from the gorgeousness of Meghan Markle's Givenchy wedding

dress, but she just went and did it again.

Prince Harry's bride has changed into another equally stunning look for her second reception.

The dress was the second look by a female British designer worn by the duchess on her

wedding day.

Like Clare Waight Keller, who made the first wedding gown, Ms. McCartney is pretty much

a peer of the duchess, and both designers are working women who have carved their own

paths in the fashion industry, and made their own choices.

The bespoke Stella McCartney gown made with silk crepe features a high neckline and a

flared skirt.

Meghan's "something blue" appears inside nude mesh Aquazurra shoes; the soles are painted

baby blue.

The switch-up didn't come as a total surprise.

"She will have two dresses, one for the ceremony and another dress for the evening," a source

previously told Vanity Fair.

"The plan is for her to change after the ceremony so that she can party the night away

in something glamorous and less restrictive."

Fair enough.

This morning's full-skirted design by British designer Clare Waight Keller looked like Audrey

Hepburn-inspired perfection, but it's pretty hard to get loose wearing a 16-foot-long veil!

The outfit change isn't unprecedented either.

Her now sister-in-law Kate Middleton also had two wedding dresses, both designed by

Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

Her first iconic look included delicate lace sleeves and a 9-foot train, so the Duchess

of Cambridge slipped into a more subdued strapless outfit for the evening festivities at Buckingham

Palace.

The satin gown featured a circle skirt and a gorgeous diamante belt.

A white bolero covered her shoulders, so the sweetheart neckline still looked Queen-approved.

Meghan Markle's first reception took place at St. George's Hall, near the chapel where

she married Prince Harry this morning.

The couple left Windsor Castle in a silver blue Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero.

The custom license plate even read E190518, which is their wedding date.

Now they're headed off to Frogmore House for the after-after party.

No wonder Meghan changed into something simpler; she's got a long (but fun!) night ahead.

Myth - Palliative care is just for people with cancer - Duration: 1:55.

You don't have cancer, do you?

- No, no, no, no, no.

I had two heart attacks and a stroke.

while I had this an infection in the lungs

which I always get.

This time they didn't think I was coming out to it,

coming out of it.

But after having that scare and being in ICU

I thought palliative care,

is this my last legs or not?

But it wasn't.

As I said, I did not know what the word meant.

- The myth comes out of the fact

that the modern palliative care movement

was related very much to really looking

after patients who are dying from cancer.

So you can see why the myth has evolved.

Inevitably anyone's eligible for palliative care

or considerations around palliative care.

- I'm Diane Beresford, I'm 75 years old,

and I live at Watsonia.

It was hard coming into something somewhere

here like this

whereas I had the wrong idea of what palliative meant.

I thought I was gonna go.

I thought I was gonna die.

- People are quite demoralised after a

very significant event in an acute hospital,

and they're really unsure

where things are gonna go,

but there seems a great reluctance

for health care professionals to talk about

the fact that there could be time ahead

and how to best support that.

- When they told me that I was coming in here

I thought that's it, that's the final whatsaname.

But I'll tell you what, I've felt really happy here,

and it's done a lot in a month.

It's done a lot for me.

- It's taken time for people to understand that

we have things that we offer for cancer patients

can be offered to people away from the cancer setting.
