How to Build a Mobile Workbench | For Beginners - Duration: 7:44.

Hi this is how to with Hannah! I'm spending the next year furnishing my

apartment and do so I'm gonna build every piece by hint by group using my

father's tool bench almost as much as he did and all throughout college I worked

at a hardware store I love both designing and constructing furniture all

my pieces are at first inexpensive there are really simple builds and I use very

common tools to assemble them and in order to dive into this

first I need a workbench hence how to build a mobile work bitch

only power tool used in the project as a drill you're going to need a meter stick

a handsaw the rest of these are optional a painting brush a magnetic strip and

finally hooks to hang all of your tools on the only wood you need for this

project is a piece of plywood four by eight and to assemble it use some wood

screws I use two inch screws as well as half-inch screws and if you'd like to

paint or stain it you can do that as well

step 1 this is the design of what we're going to be building today and these are

the cuts I actually had it done at the hardware store step 2

the first step is to build the tabletop so I select the best looking piece to do

that make a stack of random things the same height as the aprons that way the

top balances on those three points it's a four foot bench so I'm going to do six

screws on either side and the screws are going to be eight inches apart from each

other always drill a hole before screwing

you're screwin because it displaces some of that wood so your wood won't split

you also have a lot more control over the direction that the screw goes in I

select drill bits that are the same width business screw if it didn't have

the clearance continue to drill and screw down the line sometimes wood can

be a bit warped but as long as you do it one by more than you can adjust that you

bring to be in line with the tabletop it can be difficult to get a screw and

exactly flush with the surface using the power drill

so like shown here you can manually adjust the screw to the depth you would

like then I want to screw down both sides and that is my cat knocks over

there he's very sweet he also likes to be in the center of whatever is going on

so he ends up being in a lot of the shots next I screw the sides in it

really doesn't matter which one you do first the short one or the tall one I'm

gonna do the sides into the apron first on either side

and then I'm going to screw the side into the top once I got those sides

screwed in I set it up and it should look something like this for once you

want it to be slanted now we're going to attach the shelf so I attach the shelf

first to the shorter side

measure out the wheel to make sure that you get the correct depth of the shelf

and screw it all in step 3 things that I looked for when I was purchasing the

wheel the first is that the wheel swivels the second is that it locks and

then the third because it is a workbench and I want a really solid surface I got

a plastic wheel rather than a brother wheel is going to do whatever you can to

stabilize the surface and I promise you'll get that now and to attach the

wheels I first marked where the screws were going to go with a sharpie and then

I selected long screws to go down the side of the bench and then shorter

screws that are going to attach to the bottom shelf

if you're having trouble getting the screws in with the drill you can always

use a manual screwdriver to get those in

and now this is no longer just a workbench but a rolling workbench step 4

Step five on the opposite end of the wheels I attached a cabinet handle it

was super cheap like two dollars so you just measure out the distance of where

the screws are going to go drill a hole and then feed the screws through at the

holes that you made to attach the handle now the workbench is super easy to move

next I'm going to hang hooks right below the handle but the plywood is only a

half inch deep and I really wanted more for the screws to hold on to and so I'm

attaching a piece of scrap wood to the back just simply by gluing it I laid out

all my tools on the ground how I'd like them to hang on the side of the

workbench and marked all of their locations and use that piece of scrap

wood to mark where I'm going to drill the holes for the hooks you can hang

whatever tools you want I hung the tools that I use most often because they are

in such an accessible location I hung a sawdust brush a rubber mallet a quick

square your standard hammer a large putty knife and a small putty knife I'm

gonna be moving this workbench a lot I'm gonna need an extension cord so that I

can use my electrical tools wherever I am these magnetic strips were on sale

for a dollar ninety-nine so I got three of them and right now I'm just measuring

out to make sure they're level and centered

first I'm going to take my pliers groove joint slip joint linesman long nose side

cutter magnetic telescope most dot beat measure box cutter both Phillips and

flathead screwdrivers level my socket wrench adjustable wrench and a wrench

set later I also added an exacto knife scissors and a crowbar

and now my mobile workbench is complete

DIY HOUSE FOR THE HAMSTER IN THE FORM OF A STRAWBERRY- DRAWING A HOUSE FOR THE HAMSTER WITH A 3D PEN - Duration: 5:05.

Hi friends, this is Anna Chi with you and today we gonna draw a small house in the form of a strawberry for our cute hamster girl. I decided to call her Amelia because I really like this name and I think it suits her and apart from that I also think the names Alfy and Amelia sound pretty cute together.

Well, for Amelia, I'll be drawing a house using the 3D pen called 3D SIMO MINI and for this I grabbed the PLA filaments in red, green and yellow color.

Well, to make the shape of the strawberry, I took such large foam in the form of an egg and a ball with a diameter of 15 cm.

Now we gonna mark the places that need to be cut off and using a special nozzle for the foam we'll remove all unnecessary parts.

This is how our strawberry shape turned out. Now with the help of a scotch tape we'll join the two parts together and also completely wrap up the whole form.

Let's divide it into two identical halves and draw an entrance.

Now we can already use the 3D pen. First, we'll outline the first half from the entrance and draw the framework as a lattice. I'm gonna draw each half of the house separately and later combine them together.

Well, after the base is ready we can apply the first layer.

Here it's not necessary to draw very tightly you can leave small gaps because on top of it we'll apply another layer.

Near the entrance of the house we'll draw a small round window

After we've drawn the first half, we'll remove it from the form and draw another half.

When we have two parts of the house ready, we gonna carefully join them together

We'll apply the second and last layer of molten plastic on the house. This time it's necessary to impose the plastic very tightly so that there are no gaps and that's how we'll draw the entire strawberry.

We already have the base for the strawberry. I slightly expanded the bottom of the house so that Amelia had enough space.

Now we need to draw the bottom.

We will sketch out the strawberry on a paper and apply three layers of red plastic.

The first two layers will be drawn with straight lines and the last layer will be drawn short and tightly

and attach the bottom part to our strawberry

Now we need to draw small leaf bracts that are located at the very top of the berry near the stem.

You can draw them separately on a paper but it's better to draw on the strawberry form.

We'll apply the plastic in two layers and then remove it from the form and we need to also draw it from the inner side.

Now, with the help of hot-melt glue, stick it on the top of strawberry and draw a small stem.

And to make our strawberry look like real, we'll draw small seeds around the house in yellow color.

We'll also draw a lattice in yellow color and attach it to the window.

The entrance to the house I'm outlining in red in order to highlight it.

Now all it remains for us to make is a nameplate with the name of the hamster.

Ferraris for free in Pasadena at Concorso Ferrari - Duration: 6:21.

Sure, you can go to Concorso Italiano in Monterey, the Palm Beach Cavalino Classic or even Villa

d'Est all the way over in Italy to see your Ferraris.

But say your private jet is in the shop and you can't extend your pinkie just so as

a result of a slight misunderstanding the other night that limited your ability to sip

tea in the proper fashion.

Concorso Ferrari requires no such social graces or even an admission fee.

Concorso Ferrari in Old Town Pasadena, California, is open to anyone who wants to come and mingle

among the mighty V12s, maybe even a boxer 12 amid a sea of V8-powered Prancing Horses.

Put on by the Ferrari Club of America's Southwest Region, Concorso Ferrari is now

in its 11th year, under the leadership of the ever-humble Marv Landon, past president

of the club and the guy who gets all the volunteers and club members together for this fantastic

free show every year.

Yellow Ferrari

This year, there were 148 cars displayed along three closed-off blocks of Old Town.

108 of them were modern, "regular" Ferraris, and 40 were either vintage cars or modern

supercars.

For those keeping score at home, that meant among the modern cars: 15 308s, five 328s,

two 348s, four 355s, 15 360s 18 430s, 11 458s, six 488s, two Californias, five 550s, 11 575s,

two 612s, three 599s, five Testarossas, one FF, one F12 and one 456.

So the modern midengine V8 cars were well-represented.

But there are always some very cool older Ferraris here.

This year, there was: an unrestored 1952 212 Vignale, 1958 250 GT PF Cab, 1950 166 MM,

1964 250 Lusso, a 275 GTB Alloy, 1951 212 Export, 1963 Super America, 1962 250 GT SWB

and a 1959 TR in unfinished metal.

Also, Gary Bobilief's black 275 GTS had a rare hardtop on it.

Earl Wagoner brought a black 250GT Lusso that was featured in some magazine called Road

& Track way back when.

Among the greatest supporters of the show is local Ferrari collector David Lee, who

brought 10 cars including his five modern supercars: an F40, F50, 288GTO, an Enzo and

a La Ferrari, plus a special F12 Steve McQueen, 812 Superfast, 1967 330 GTS, 1967 275 GTB4

and his hot rod Dino, which is powered by either a V8 from a Ferrari 360 an F40 engine

-- reports vary.

Pasadenans know a good deal when they see it, and the venue was packed with what organizers

estimate was "approximately" 20,000 spectators.

And yes, it was a judged show with winners all up and down those three blocks of Colorado

Boulevard.

Peter Giacobbi's replica Testa Rosa won the People's Choice award.

It is a Ferrari with a body built by a coachbuilder in Italy that was bidding on the bodymaking

business and didn't wind up getting it, after having created this one body.

Giacobbi tracked down the body, bought it and put a 365 GT V-12 in it.

True story.

"Best Car on the Street" award went to Michael Leventhal for his 1950 166/195MM.

"Best Exotic Car on the Street" went to Tony Shooshani for his crowd-gathering 2018

La Ferrari Aperta.

And "Best In Show" was Donnie Crevier's 1963 400 SuperAmerica.
