So too much what is called love is "fish love". - Duration: 2:19.
Love is a word that
in our culture, almost completely lost it's meaning.
There is a very interesting story Rabbi of Kotzk
Who came across a young man, who was
clearly enjoying an edition fish that he was eating.
And he said: "Young man why are eating that fish?"
He says: "Because I love fish."
He says: "Oh, you love the fish,
that's why you took it out of the water and killed it and boiled it."
"Don't tell me that you love fish. "
"You love yourself,
and because the fish tastes good to you,
therefore you took it out of the water killed it and boiled it."
So much of what is love,
is "fish love".
And so,
young couple falls in love,
young man the young woman falls in love. What does that mean?
That means: that he saw in this woman
someone who he felt could provide him with all of his physical and emotional needs,
and she felt in this man that somebody she feels that she can right,
that was love.
But each one is looking for their own needs.
It is not love for the other.
The other person becomes a vehicle for for my gratification.
Too much of what is called love is "fish love" right…
An external love
is not on what I'm going to get but what I'm going to give.
We had an ethicist Rabbi Destler who said:
"People make a serious mistake
in thinking that you give to those whom you love."
The answer is, the real answer is:
You love those to who you give.
And his point is:
if I give something to you, I've invested myself in you.
And since self-love is a given everybody loves themselves,
Now that part of me has become in you, that is part of me in you that I love.
So true love is: A love of giving, not a love of receiving.

Is StockX 100% Legit? - Insane StockX London Vlog - Duration: 21:31.
Yo guys, we're at my apartment, but we're about to have an insane journey.
Therefore we're flying to London and checking out the headquarter of StockX.
They invited myself, as well as Willy from Germany.
They wanted to pick their European Influencers for future collaborations and show them everything they do,
guide us through their new authentication centre and so on,
since they expanded to Europe (perhaps not Europe very soon, who knows, Brexit incoming)
But this is an other topic because we're about to head to the airport,
I think it's gonna be dope. Will take you with me the whole time
As. I said we're getting ready and take off to the airport. Have fun!
Yoo fam, I finally arrived at the hotel, after a long flight I managed to get to London
Super sick! Also I'm at a very special hotel, it's called White City House I guess
It has a very certain vibe, kinda Retro/Elvis Presley/80's I can show you some
There's an old radio and over there some old telephones,
even the restroom is super fancy but I dig it, pretty cool, something different
Downstairs you can find a bar, a lounge, restaurants a gym..
everything included, everything in this retro theme, pretty cool.
Nevertheless I got invited by StockX and we're about to have 3 epic days together
'll definitely take you with me through the whole authentication centre,
show you all the behind the scenes of how StockX works.
Then myself and Willy, shoutout to you, will film a clip for StockX called „Unseamed" together
I'm super exited!
And yeah, what else to add, I'll take you with me
And, before I forget to mention, huge shoutout to Canon,
they provided me among other things with this Vlogging cam,
as well as a new Lens, of course only lend it for a longer period of time
But still super cool, therefore I can test them out and accordingly film a very dope vlog for you guys
So again, shouts to Canon, huge thanks to you!
I'm just vlogging with this Canon G7X Mark ii. Absolutely love it!
Already happy with it. Of course I'm advertising at this point, but I'm truly satisfied with it,
super handy, easy to use, makes a lot of fun and the quality is insane!
And yeah, I'm going to take you with me, without further redo, I'll see you tomorrow, have fun, see you!
So guys, the next day,
I'm about to go shoot some pics with Willy, planned a little photo session in front of the hotel
Shortly after the shuttle will arrive and take us to StockX
You'll be with me, should not waist too much time, Let's go!
Yo guys, we just arrived at the StockX headquarters,
they are now showing us how to legit check all the Streetwear,
Sneakers etc, so proving it's authenticity
There you can see a Supreme TNF Jacket,
also right here is a Supreme Camo jacket and a logo from last season
Over there we have the streetwear section and there you can see the huge StockX sign
I'll take you with me, show you some mad b-rolls and shots, enjoy!
That's my grail right here!
So fam you have voted. I just made a little survey
if those Jordan Not for Resale Friends and Family are legit
63% believe they are definitely authentic,
proved you guys wrong, they are unfortunately fake!
And the second survey, what about those?
Those are the Friends and Family Paris Saint Germain or PSG 5's
Those are legit!
My absolute sneaker Grail. Hopefully getting them one day
Sooo sick, guys what do you think? Always wanted them since they released, crazy!
So guys, we're back at the hotel, just made the StockX authentication tour,
they guided as around, showed us what's up, how they check the shoes,
and they definitely brought the most insane heat, also my absolute sneaker grail,
the Nike Yeezy Platinum 2. Extremely beautiful shoe, even in hand
Now we're about to lunch, we're all are pretty hungry
Shortly after we'll continue having a little meeting,
showing them our plans with the company, talking a little bit and yeah,
we'll see what else happened today. Already been a cool experience. Lets eat!
Willy, what's up?
Yoo friends, we're now heading to the Tate Modern museum,
having a little private tour, just had some great lunch and had a decent talk with PAQ,
that's a YouTube platform, perhaps some of you already know them
We discussed best ways how to gain followers, to be genuine,
all the background analytics behind YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc very interesting,
has been super cool and yeah, now we arrived here, getting our little private tour,
it's gonna be very interesting, I'll keep you up to date,
here is our gang gang gang and yeah
Willy ist took this ultimately sick photo of me in the Tate Modern, came out nicely,
looking forward to post it, Not sure yet if I post it in my actual Instagram feed
but still like it a lot! What do you think? I definitely dig it
So guys, we just visited the Tate Modern and went for a drink,
Now we're on our way to… I'm not sure where we're exactly going
Either going for another place to relax .. Honestly I'm haparzard at this point
We're just walking a bit through London, just an extremely beautiful city I have to admit
already the chosen future city of my girlfriend and myself. Of course we don't really know if
we'll ever land here but still extremely lovely city, architecture is insane and yeah,
we'll see where we are going now, will ask right after cause I'm aimless but yeah,
Already been a pretty sick day, definitely feel it in my bones already
Tomorrow were filming the clip with the StockX format „Unseamed" together with Willy as already mentioned
Definitely going to be a good one! Now let's check out were we're going!
And yeah guys you've already seen it but check out this view again, Holy!
That's what I call a view! Just beautiful. Now let's have dinner, see ya!
So guys we're back at our hotel room and from what I can say it's been a pretty mad trip
Had some delightful dinner with an amazing view as I already showed you
Now I'm back at the hotel room or my apartment room, don't really know,
just going to relax for the end of the day and then I'll see you tomorrow
Huge thanks to StockX at this point for the incredible day,
will hopefully have another nice and successful day tomorrow, will of course take you with me
Have a good one, will see you in a second rested and refreshed on a new day
I'm just gonna relax now, see you tomorrow, ciao!
Yoo guys, what's up, Tim Gabel (Fitness YouTuber) here,
just joking, new day has approached, I gladly got some rest,
now we're continuing our journey, will get picked up in a second and then
we're straight heading to the film studios to shoot the „Unseamed" clip
Exited what's waiting for us, think it's gonna be cool, hopefully can show you some stuff you like,
giving you nice input, creating dope content and yeah, heading to the airport right after
don't really have time. Trying to shoot some more pics with Willy for Instagram and you guys
and yeah, Should be fun! Keep you in the loop, have to leave the hotel room now
because the shuttle is waiting. Have fun in the following video. Eskeeetit!
Oh yeah before I forget to mention, Loads of you should be interested in my sneaker rotation,
first of we have a very beautiful Jordan 1 Union LA Black Toe,
looks really clean with the white laces I put in, secondly the good old Yeezy Beluga 1.0,
still a big fan of the shoe with it's orange detail, and pops when editing super nicely
and last but not least a nice Off-White VaporMax with blue laces in,
matches perfectly the denim jacket I have with me, and yeah think that's a great variety,
some Nike, some Adidas and some Jordan
Soo friends we made it, it's a wrap. We made it, has been super fun
never expected it to be that good, now we're looking for something to eat,
should be a pizzeria around here, see if we can find it, and yeah,
then coming back to the studio taking some pics for the gram
Picking up something for my girl, what do you think guys,
how about this little baby bodysuit? Or this little stuffed rabbit?
So guys I have 2 opponents, first off we have some Green tea from Harrods,
because my girlfriend loves Green Tea, absolutely no fan of it,
or this cute harrods teddy. Both cost around the same price. What would she be more happy with,
leave a comment, I have no idea, Green Tea or lovely stuffed teddy?
First I preferred the tea but for some reason the teddy is pretty cute
So guys, finally back in Berlin, here with my girlfriend and she just told me that
Marco Reus is over there, he must been boarding now,
stood Marco Reus. Would love to take a pic with him but unfortunately didn't work out,
nevermind, still a cool guy! Let's go home
Yo people we are back! Didn't finish filming yesterday
just because it's already been very dark and late. We also been very exhausted,
I especially had a long flight and some intense days, still wanted to finish this vlog,
and yeah has been a sick journey, shoutout StockX for the trip, has been a pleasure to meet everyone in person,
every one of them is super calm, as I said they're still a pretty small group which expands
super fast because the demand is immense still they're open-minded people who are doing their jobs very well
and that's why I'll keep supporting them in the future. Hope you liked the little vlog,
don't even know how long it's gonna be, perhaps it's gonna be longer than expected
See you guys soon, like this video if you enjoyed it,
trying to make more stuff like this if you guys keep asking for it.
Wish you guys a great day, see you guys in the next video.
Till then, bye! :-)

Is It Time to Ditch the Nikon D850? - Duration: 7:59.
The Nikon D850, probably the world's best digital SLR but with so many mirroless
cameras on the market from Canon, Nikon, Fuji and even Sony, is it time to ditch
the D850
I love my Nikon D850 it has helped me capture some truly amazing images but the
camera market is changing. Mirrorless is the future and with so many different new
cameras on the market I have to seriously consider whether I need to
switch from an old digital SLR to a mirrorless camera. But which one? There's
so many I've got Nikon Z offerings, Canon eos R, I've got Sony Alpha
and the a7 and the a9 and even the Fuji GFX. Is it time to switch. So in this
video I'm gonna share with you my thoughts about how I feel about the
Nikon D850 and whether I should change to a mirrorless camera either now or in the
near future. But before I do that and they say evaluate is the Nikon D850
still a good camera for capturing good landscape images. So I've come up to
Dartmoor and as you can see it's snowing so hopefully when the snow
shower clears I'm gonna take a few landscape images and we'll see if the
Nikon D850 it's still a good tool for capturing landscape images.
As you can see I've come back home. Frankly it was just far too cold on
Dartmoor to be doing video and for taking pictures. I barely had enough feeling
in my fingers just to press a shutter button on the D850 but now that I'm
back home and have warmed up a bit and have had a cup of coffee let me share with you
my thoughts on whether I'm going to ditch the D850. Let's start by answering the
question I left you with up on Dartmoor. Is the D850 still a good tool for
me to capture landscape images. Well you've already seen the images on the
screen and I've made a few prints. I made this A3 print here of one of the
images I took up here on Great Staple Tor and there is bags of detail in this
image and the dynamic range is really good as well I have to pull lots of
wonderful detail out of the shadows makes a really nice print. So printed
images generally it isn't going to be an issue. I've also made this panoramic
image as well and this totals about 180 megapixels I think and there are
bags of detail there right from the foreground all the way to the background
there. So to answer the question is it still a good tool for capturing
landscape images? Well for me at least anyway quite clearly it is. By the looks
of it there's no doubt that the D850 continues to capture wonderful landscape
images but as most photographers to tell you it's a photographer that takes a
picture not the camera and if you're in any doubt about that watch a video I
made last year called Shoot Print Surprise. I'll pop a link for it up in
the corner of the screen. Check out those images and then hang
around to the end of the video to see what camera I shot them with. While the
D850 won't make me a better photographer it can make the experience of capturing
and image either easier or more enjoyable so this is why I'm starting to
look at these new mirrorless cameras to try and understand, are there features
and things in those cameras that would make the process of capturing my
landscape images either easier or more enjoyable. Now there are two things I'm
really looking for in the mirrorless camera and first of all is the EVF, an Electronic View Finder, now I've used an EVF on a
number of cameras including this one I'm actually filming this video on. When
I was up there on Great Staple Tor I was lucky enough my friend had a
Z7 with him. Having a look at that camera and looking through that viewfinder I
was blown away by the experience. I had all the information
I'd normally get on the LCD in the back of my D850 but there was inside the
viewfinder. Sometimes you just want to use the viewfinder. Other things I'm
looking for is new glass. So one of the things about all the mirrorless cameras
are coming out now they're creating a whole new set of lenses to go with those
cameras. Now I'm not particularly unhappy with the lenses I've got but some of
them are quite old now. My 16-35 is a good 6 to 7 years old now and while it
produces great images it does have some limitations. So what I would be looking
for if I was going to change would be the the newer glass manufactured to
today's standards and allows me to resolve all that information that the
sensor on my camera can resolve. So a real up step in image quality. So they're
the two things I really would be looking for. Which mirror system would I go to?
Well there's a GFX system from Fuji a medium format
mirrorless camera system. Now the problem with that system is, while the image
quality is apparently amazing, it is a very expensive camera system
to get into. The body is quite expensive, there is a limited lens lineup and even
then those lenses are quite expensive so overall the cost of that system, while it is
quite aspirational to have a medium format camera, I just can't justify that
increase in cost. Then we move on to the Sony mirrorless system and obviously
they've been in the market a bit longer they've got good lens lineup the cameras
a bit more reasonably priced but I think know that Nikon have their Z
mirrorless offerings I don't know why I would switch to Sony.
I don't know why
I'd want to get rid of all my lenses, where with the Nikon Z system I
can gradually convert and buy new lenses when required. So if you look at the
Canon system as well pretty well the same reasons I won't get into Canon as I
wouldn't get into Sony so realistically for me the the natural step I've wanted
to go mirrorless would be to go with the Nikon Z system and perhaps and
either than Z6 orl the Z7. Would I move to the Nikon Z system today?
probably not it's got some of the lenses I'm looking for like the 24-70 f/4 but
I'm really interested in the 14-30 f/4 which comes out later on this year. The
70-200 f/2.8 that I've got I probably just convert. Hopefully they'll do a 72-200 f/4
, but that lens is less important to me the one that I'm really interested in
is that 14-30 f/4. When that lens is available along with a 24-70 f/4
I'll see what the camera lineup is then if it's still the Z7 is the
best choice then I'll probably get that one but there's a another slightly
higher spec model coming down I might try to aim for that one instead
so is it time to ditch the Nikon D850? Well for me no but my move tomorrow is a
matter of when not if. It will happen but if I get to the point where the right
camera and the right lenses are available and I can't move away from the
Nikon D850 I'll still have the world's best digital SLR and that's not
a bad thing. Do you have a digital SLR? Are you considering moving to a
mirrorless camera? Do you already have a mirrorless camera? What are your thoughts
on the mirrorless camera market at the moment? Why don't you let me know in the
comments below. I'll see you in the next one!
