Waching daily Jan 31 2019

Hi welcome to the Real Estate Real. I'm Rebecca Steves, over the next few months

I'm going to be doing a series of videos to address the market needs that some of

my clients have as well as talk about the buying and selling process in a

series that will help first-time homebuyers or perhaps buyers that aren't

experienced for many years at buying a house people downsizing people getting

ready their houses ready for sale. So today's video I'm going to talk a little

bit about the current market situation. Now we don't have the hard stats from

January yet but this is just a little bit of a buzz that I feel has been

created by talking to other real estate agents. We are definitely looking for

inventories so I think for the first time in many many years we're looking at

possibly being in a seller's market this year at the very least it's going to be

a balanced market. Ao currently my own situation is that I'm looking for a

number of buyers for houses and at the bottom of this video I'm gonna put a

list of homes that I'm looking for in the areas so I'm hoping that if you see

something that matches your house and you're thinking about selling that you

send me a message. If your house is currently on the market and you think I

may have missed it reach out to your Realtor and have them give me a call. I'm

definitely in a situation that I haven't been in in the past 10 years where I

have way more buyers than I have listing opportunities. So thank you for joining

me today I look forward to seeing your comments and please take a moment to

take a look at the list of houses that I am looking for. If you

happen to know someone if you are that someone please either reach out to me or

your Realtor. Again thank you for joining me I look forward to subscribing and

watching more of my videos have a great day!

Kumbh Mela or Kumbha Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith I Kumbh Mela 2019 - Duration: 3:04.

The origin of Kumbh Mela was transcribed by the 8th-century philosopher Shankara

The founding myth of the Kumbh Mela points out to the Puranas (compilation of ancient legends).

It recounts how Gods and demons fought over the sacred pitcher (Kumbh) of Amrit (nectar of immortality) called the Ratna of Samudra Manthan.

It is widely believed that Lord Vishnu (disguised as the enchantress 'Mohini') whisked the Kumbh out of the grasp of the covetous demons who had tried to claim it.

As he took it heavenwards, a few drops of the precious nectar fell on the four sacred site we know as Haridwar, Ujjain, Nashik and Prayag.

The flight and the following pursuit is said to have lasted twelve divine days which is equivalent to twelve human years

and therefore, the Mela is celebrated every twelve years, staggered at each of the four sacred sites in this cycle.

The corresponding rivers are believed to have turned into Amrit at the cosmic moment,

giving pilgrims the chance to bathe in the essence of purity, auspiciousness, and immortality.

Kumbh is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus

It became a matter of research amongst scholars when the legend of Kumbh began attracting millions of pilgrims from across the world.

However, it is an established fact that Prayag has been the center stage of Kumbh

and an event of such grand scale does not culminate in one day but gradually develops over a period of time.

The term 'Kumbh' comes from the root 'kumbhak' (the sacred pitcher of elixir of immortality).

There is a mention of 'Kumbh' and the bathing ritual associated with it in the Rig Veda (verse 10.89.7).

It speaks of the benefits of bathing at sangam during this period, elimination of negative influences and rejuvenation of mind and soul.

Prayers for the 'Kumbh' are also expressed in Atharva Veda and Yajur Veda.

Historic evidence points towards the rule of King Harshvardhana (c.590-647 AD), as the time when Kumbh Mela got widespread recognition across geographies.

Famous traveler Hsuan Tsang has prominently mentioned the grandeur of Kumbh Mela in his travelogue.

The traveler's account also summarizes King Harsh's charities at the confluence of holy rivers where he gave gifts and donations to the scholars and sanyasis.

King Harsh used to hold a great quinquennial assembly on the sands of the holy confluence at Prayag and would distribute all his possessions.

Moreover, the historical texts also point towards evidence that Adi Shankaracharya established 10 Akharas, Ardha Kumbh and Kumbh Mela.

The Kumbh Mela at Prayag is widely considered as the most significant among all the Kumbh festivals held at other locations.

It is considered as the source of light and knowledge.

It is believed that Prajapati Bramha performed Ashvamedha Yajna at Dashashvamedha Ghat situated at the confluence of the .

Ganga and Yamuna and created the universe due to which it is the most famous and significant among all other Kumbh festivals

Kumbh is a symbol of peace and harmony amongst all human beings.

The Kumbh Mela has been inscribed on the list of "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO in 2017.

This reflects the significance of Kumbh worldwide. Kumbh at Prayagraj encapsulates the science of astronomy, astrology, spirituality,

ritualistic traditions, social and cultural customs and practices making it extremely rich in knowledge.

Kumbh also signifies the coming together of people from various cultures from all across the world

and participating in the spectacle that is the largest peaceful congregation of humanity.

Participating in the ritual of the holy bath at the Ghats is an honor and a privilege.

The story of Samudra Manthan, one of the best-known episodes in the Hindu mythology,

narrated in the Bhagvad Purana states that the sacred alignments of celestial bodies directly relate to the Kumbh festival.

It took 12 divine days to carry the Amrit to the heavens. As one divine day of Gods is equivalent to one year of the humans,

the journey to the heavens symbolizes 12 years in human terms.

That is why every twelfth year when Jupiter enters the Aries constellation on the day of the new moon in the month of Magh,

the Kumbh festival is organized. Mythological studies suggest that the Kumbh festival and the Ganga are related to each other.

The Ganga flows in Prayagraj but Godavari of Nasik is also called the Ganga or the Gomti Ganga.

Similarly, the Shipra (in Ujjain) is recognized as the north branch, the Ganga of Kashi.

From that place onwards, Shipra becomes the east branch where it assimilates with the Ganga.

[TV RECAP] 'The Masked Singer' Recap: The Unicorn's Identity Is Revealed - Duration: 5:05.

[TV RECAP] 'The Masked Singer' Recap: The Unicorn's Identity Is Revealed

It's back! Week five of The Masked Singer kicked off on Wednesday, January 30, opening with the alien, rabbit, lion and unicorn performing together — and no, they didn't know who each other were, either! In order to help the judges, each act brought along an item this week to reveal more about their identity.

While some masked celebrities' identities are easy to figure out — sorry, Tommy Chong, but we knew it all along — others, like the alien, aren't as easy.

However, using the clues from past weeks, it would seem that La Toya Jackson was underneath that latex suit.

During this week's video, she said she spent her life under the microscope and "craved the simple life," before the camera spanned to a snake. (In case you didn't know, Jackson, 62, famously posed repeatedly through the years with a snake.).

Alien's item brought out on stage was a police badge from Indiana. "This badge is not a prop, I swore to protect and serve," she said as a hint.

Need more proof that it's Jackson? She trained as a reserve police officer with the Muncie Police Department (in Indiana); it was documented on the reality show Armed & Famous.

The judges also guessed her this week — but Ken Jeong wasn't fully convinced. Going into this week's episode, we had some ideas about the Rabbit.

While the 'NSYNC singer, 41, denied he was under the bunny costume to Us Weekly, it was hard to look past all the clues from past weeks (ie., hot dogs, "It's Gonna Be Me," Coney Island).

This time, part of the video took place inside his food truck. Mixing it up, Fatone the rabbit performed a choreographed dance to "Poison.". His item was a magician kit. Fatone has performed magic in Vegas. Must we continue, here.

Ahead of the lion's week five performance, we were convinced she was Rumer Willis. Every single clue pointed to that -- right down to the fact that Willis, 30, used to have a a tattoo of a lion on her arm.

During this week, she revealed she was upset that judge Nicole Scherzinger wasn't impressed with her singing. So, she came ready to perform, belting out "California Dreamin,'" impressing everyone.

Her clue item was a white scrunchie. "It's a family heir loom," the lion said. As for the unicorn, there were many theories about who was underneath the all-white look. Our main guess: Tori Spelling.

After her last clues -- she felt "victorious" and lose her "Shanian," it seemed like an obvious answer. She added another hills mention in the new video -- Beverly Hills 90210, maybe? Jeong actually guessed her this time, too.

Her item was a typewriter, which could be a nod to her father, Aaron Spelling. It could also represent her New York Times' Best Seller book, Stori Telling.

At the end of this episode though, the Unicorn was unmasked. Just moments before she took the mask off, each judge gave their final guesses and Jeong stuck with his guess! And, he was right.

Tori Spelling is the unicorn! She also confirmed that the typewriter was, in fact, her father's, which he started every script on; it was passed down to her when he had passed away.

The Masked Singer airs on Fox Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Global Energy Metals CEO: Now is the Time to Invest in Cobalt - Duration: 8:16.

We're here in Vancouver at VRIC 2019 and joining me now is Mitchell Smith

Mitchell, welcome. Tell us about your company, but let's start with where are you listed in, what's your symbol?

Definitely. The company is Global Energy Metals.

We're listed on the TSXV, ticker symbol is "GEMC"

But you are specializing in cobalt -- when I say you are a cobalt corporation, I mean really, that is your focus.

100% cobalt focus. We have been since

starting this company and really we've been involved as a management team in the cobalt space for over a decade

so this is nothing nothing new to us and

we believe that sector's building as we speak.

So when we go back 10 years ago, the cobalt market was really only just starting to emerge. Where is it at now?

Yeah, and you know it's evolved so much in the last decade

You know really before it was a specialty metal that was used in industrial application and strengthening of steel.

Since then it's really changed into the battery space and into the chemical --

critical into the chemical formulations that are used in the electric vehicle space:

portable electronics,

you know all of that.

Well and it becomes fundamentally important --

has China not just announced that they're planning on building a million electric cars a year?

Yes

And so the demand is going to be there.

It's huge. The demand is really what you know -- we talk about

the company being powered by cobalt and driven by demand and really that is where the demand is coming from.

It's from the adoption of electric vehicles and such.

Globally, not just here in North America, but in China and India and elsewhere.

You know people here go on an awful lot about lithium

of course because it's so much in the batteries. People don't necessarily understand how vitally important cobalt is to the whole process.

Enlighten us.

So you're right. I mean, you know lithium for instance is is about two percent

of a battery and in terms of weight

Cobalt makes up about seven percent of that

So really, cobalt, it flies under the radar and unfortunately

so, and it's only been in the last year, two years, that

people have realized the the importance of cobalt to the battery space.

So what is so important about cobalt within a lithium battery?

You know, there's a lot of talk right now about substitution and removing cobalt.

Even people like Elon Musk with Tesla --

sitting in a Tesla right now and they're saying we are trying to eliminate cobalt from the battery.

It's not going to happen anytime soon.

Cobalt is so crucial to the thermal stability of the battery packs.

You know groups like Volkswagen who just --

they're talking about putting billions of dollars into the battery in the electric vehicle space and

removing all internal combustion engines from their fleets.

They don't want to have another another diesel gate or another thermal gate is how I like to talk about it and

Cobalt is critical to that role.

Well they don't want batteries exploding and burning up on them either because without cobalt, is that not the big risk that we run?

One of the biggest risk is because of that for sure -- is that thermal stability and keeping the charge and the

ability to, for the longevity of

those batteries.

So let's talk about where you're getting your cobalt. What properties do you have under development or

what stages are they at?

That's important. The supply and you know

I think everybody understands that there's there's going to be a demand for cobalt and

batteries as we move forward and as this adoption happens, but where does that supply come from?

You know right now 98% of it is a byproduct from copper and nickel production

65% of it's coming from the DRC

which is a very challenged jurisdiction to not only mine in but

politically and infrastructure speaking. So we looked at this differently and we went to top tier mining

jurisdictions in the world. We have the Millennium cobalt project in Australia, in Queensland, Australia,

we have

the Werner Lake cobalt mine in Ontario and today we actually announced the

the option for an 85% interest in two

high-grade cobalt projects in in Lovelock, Nevada

150 kilometers away from the gigafactory from Tesla

So what stage of development are you at, at those properties?

Earlier stage exploration on the Nevada assets,

the Werner Lake project is a past historic cobalt mine

So you know there's a resource there?

We know there's something there

It's being being advanced through a partnership with a group called Marquis Resources out of Australia.

They're putting two and a half million dollars into it.

Global Energy gets a carry and

the Millenium Cobalt asset, we're just completing a 100% acquisition on that.

We've completed a drill program,

we'll be updating the resource on that in the next couple of weeks.

So it's still in the Exploratory stage? It's still

Exploration, but there's a lot of upside to that exploration.

We'll be looking at doing a secondary program now that we've confirmed, we've been able to not only confirm the

historics, did a metallurgical and be able to show that there's some opportunity on the concentrate level and

We now understand that there's other targets that we want to be able to hit moving forward and we think we can

make that resource much much larger.

What does the worldwide supply of cobalt look like and based on that,

how do you feel that you're gonna be able to move into a market that's going to provide great opportunity particularly for investors?

Cobalt is still a niche market

It's about 120 thousand

tons per annum

but we think there's an opportunity for us to

inject ourselves into this and offer a

secure and stable supply of cobalt moving forward and in good jurisdictions.

The price these days

versus the cost of production, were are we at?

Prices have

come down in cobalt, but historically I mean

we've had a huge ramp up in the spike in the cobalt price

into

2018. It's come down a little bit

I think a lot of that is because of the trade issues and and such with China and the U.S.

So there's some macro environment

circumstances that are in play but with our projects -- they are primary cobalt -- so really it's driven on the economics of the

of the cobalt price and

historically, cobalt has never been higher

So where do you think the sweet spot for cobalt is -- is it in 2020?

2022? How is that in relationship to your timeline?

The sweet spot for cobalt is right

now. Today is -- right now is the time to be in investing into cobalt and understanding this market and

understanding the criticality of that metal to the battery space

In addition to that, the fundamentals are just strengthening as the world adopts the

understanding of what this is -- an electric vehicle.

Pretty excited about this aren't you?

I am excited for sure.

We'll be watching. Thanks for this.

What Is Not Digital Health - The Medical Futurist - Duration: 1:51.

I talk a lot about what digital health is.

It's a cultural transformation initiated by advanced technologies that lead to an equal-level

partnership between patients and their caregivers.

But even huge organizations mistake it for simply a technological revolution.

So let's clear up the confusion, let's see what is NOT digital health.

There are many buzzwords flying around in healthcare; telemedicine, ehealth, mobile

health, health IT… just to say a few.

But not everything that goes through a smartphone or a computer is part of digital health.

And it can be hard to draw a line to where it all begins and ends.

When personal computers became widely available in the 1990s, e-health emerged.

When such computers could be connected into networks, telemedical services appeared.

The rise of social media networks gave space to medicine 2.0 and health 2.0; while penetration

of mobile phones and later smartphones summoned mobile health.

But digital health is more than that.

Even more than the sum of principles, such as gamification, or technologies, such as

telemedicine.

It is a cultural transformation democratizing care.

Let's take Health IT that mostly covers the exchange and management of electronic

health records.

I know.

It sounds like digital health…

But it's not.

It's not a cultural revolution, only a technological one.

So you might ask the question, how can we navigate between these trends and buzzwords.

How should we know what is part of digital health?

It's simple.

Just use our "Gary-rule."

It's a general rule of thumb that can help you easily.

Imagine Gary, the IT guy.

If you have a tech related issue, that only he can help with, that belongs to Health IT.

If Gary is not enough to address the problem because you need doctors and patients involved

too - that's digital health.
