how we got here already, but here we are,
the finale for season one.
I've got my friends with me, we're folding some laundry
and we're talking about the goodness of God
and being grateful in right where we are, so stick around.

Welcome back, I'm excited today is our season finale
of Created for the Impossible.
I have no idea how we even got here.
What an amazing journey this has been.
A risk, you know, stepping out the of the boat,
believing that God can do anything,
that I'm created for the impossible,
that He wants to release and impart this message of hope
right into your home, right into your heart,
that you're created for the impossible too.
You know, I find myself reflecting,
and it brings me to the scripture,
First Thessalonians 5:16 through 18 that says,
rejoice always, pray continually,
give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
This morning I wept, I sat in my living room
and I just wept, I wept over the goodness of God.
I wept over what He wants to do and can do
through an available vessel,
through someone who just says yes to what He wants to do.
I'm not anything fancy, I'm a mom of two, a wife,
but I dare to believe God and what He says about me.
And this is what He wanted me to do.
This was a season that He has me in, to be able
to speak and communicate to you that I would never
have had a chance to meet otherwise.
All over the world you're watching, and I thank you.
I thank you that you're watching.
I'm overwhelmed by gratitude
for the emails I've been getting
from you all over the place.
Prayer requests, praise reports.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
And I just thank God right now that He would have me do
something like this that I never thought I could do.
But I guess I'm created for the impossible too.
But I wanna talk a little bit about this verse.
It's highlighted here that it doesn't just say
for all things we give thanks,
it says in everything, in every situation.
And the Amplified says no matter what the circumstances,
be thankful and continually give thanks to God,
for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
It's not that we say thank you, God,
for this horrible thing that's happened,
it's God saying continually give thanks to Him.
That's a key, that key of thanksgiving
brings us into His courts and into His presence,
where He shows up for us and does the miraculous.
Where He then shows up and says, I'm here.
I am that I am, and my name means Jehovah Rophe,
I'm your healer.
My name means Jehovah Jireh, I am your provider.
So if it's provision that we need,
it's not that I give thanks for my lack,
what I give thanks for is God Almighty,
whose name means provider.
And so that's for you today, friend.
Whatever it is that you have need of,
wherever you are, no matter the diagnosis,
no matter the tragedy, the trauma,
whatever it is, God is coming to you today
to say in all things, in all things,
you can give thanks to me.
And that's His will for us in Christ Jesus.
And Christ Jesus is the key, He's the door,
He is the access point to God's goodness in your life.
And I see it, I see it flowing,
I see a river of life, a river of hope,
a river of joy coming to you right now where you are.
Whatever you're doing, even if you're folding laundry,
doing the dishes, something seemingly mundane and ordinary,
God is with you and God wants you
to encounter Him right now today.
And that is what we're gonna be talking about.
And I've got my friends with me today joining me,
familiar faces that you may recognize from episodes past.
We've got Alisha Chavez with us.
We've got Mary Wells and Sula Skiles.
And they've been on episodes.
I've heard that you've seen their episodes.

with these amazing women.
What better grand finale that I could think of
for Created for the Impossible than us four sisters
coming together to fold my laundry (laughing),
my very real, very tangible, some of it was fresh
out of the dryer this morning, but a lot of it was cold
because it's been sitting there for two weeks,
I'm not kidding, laundry.
Because this is the every day, isn't it?
- It is. - This is life.
This is the everyday, our everyday living.
We wanted to paint this picture for you that are watching
that God wants to encounter you right here.
While you're folding your daughter's shirt,
you can prophesy over her destiny.
While you're picking up your son's pajamas
and folding them in a pile, we can prophesy
over the dreams and the visions that he'll have,
that Joel says, in those days,
your sons and your daughters, they'll prophesy,
they'll have dreams and visions, right?
- Yes.
- And that's the journey we're on.
I know so many of you came full and we came
to talk about the Lord over laundry.
- Yeah, I love it, I love it.
In fact, the first time that I realized
that God could move in my everyday life,
that there could actually be miracles in the mundane
it was over just an everyday, seems like task,
of picking up my daughter from school.
She was four at the time, my son was one,
and I'm driving home and I'm so hungry
to see the power of God's kingdom moving
through my life personally.
But I kinda felt a little bit limited even by being a mom.
Because I'm like, what am I gonna do?
I've got two little ones, you know.
And so I'm driving home and all of a sudden
I get a word of knowledge that one
of the construction guys who was literally like
across the street from me had something going on
with his sciatic nerve, and my son at this time
is now piping up, 'cause he's hungry,
and they're doing what kiddos do.
So I immediately get them in the house,
making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
getting them settled, my husband was home
and was just thinking, I have a choice here.
I can believe that miracles can happen in the mundane,
or I can just stay in my house.
And I decided to go ahead, and what I did was,
I took the garbage out, 'cause I like,
I'm just gonna take out the trash and see
if I can get the courage to actually go
approach these strangers and release God's love over them.
And I did it, just strolling out there taking out the trash.
And I was like, I'm gonna go for it.
Went across the street, just said,
"Hey, I know this I strange, but out of curiosity,
"just wondered if you have something going on
"with your sciatic nerve."
And they all surprisingly were like, "No."
And I'm thinking, okay, surely God,
I didn't get the guts to do this.
And I asked again, I'm like, "Are you sure?
"I just love praying with people,
"I love seeing God do miracles."
And then sure enough one of them said,
"Well, yeah, I've had issues with my sciatic nerve."
So I prayed for him, God did a miracle.
He just was blessed to receive God's love that day.
And that is what broke it open for me personally.
It was in making peanut butter jelly sandwiches,
getting my kids from school and realizing God can use me
as a mom right here, right now.
It's not just about going on a missions trip
or being in the four walls of the church.
And so that's what broke it open for me.
So I love this today that we get to just fold laundry
and talk about God (laughing).
- Yeah, it's the real deal, and as you share that story,
I hear the Lord saying, "Just look out the window."
And it's like I can a mom in their home,
doing the dishes in front of the window,
like look out your window.
If you're hungry to be used by God, look out your window.
And God's saying that to you right now.
If you're hungry to be used by Him,
look out your window, look and see what's out there.
Wherever you are, in your everyday,
God has a plan for you to do the impossible
right there in your ordinary.
So, we're gonna take a quick break
and we'll keep talking about this when we get back.

- Welcome back, we're here today with Mary,
Sula and Alisha, we're talking about the goodness of God
in our everyday in our ordinary,
being grateful in all things over laundry,
folding laundry together.
My laundry from home, might I add.
And I'm very thankful for that.
Sula was just talking about
how her journey began while making peanut butter
and jelly sandwiches for her kids.
This all began at the kitchen table during nap time for me.
All of this came about at the kitchen table during nap time.
And I know you have something similar too, don't you?
- Yeah, very similar.
When you have children, you have this idea of
what your life is gonna look like,
and then I found myself lonely in the mundane.
And you kept using that word, and when you have toddlers,
things go so slow, but it's the exact
same thing all the time.
And I felt so spiritually dry.
I had in my mind like, okay, I need to
be giving dedicated amounts of my time to the Lord.
Like wake up early, wake up at 6:00 AM, Alisha,
and read your bible for an hour,
give the prophetic word, lay hands on the sick.
Because ministry's in me, it's in me,
and I did not know until I was faced with it
how to pour that out in my family
and let the Lord teach me in the mundane
and in the day-to-day things and how much
He actually enjoys being there with us.
So I felt like the Lord was like,
"Alisha, when you're loading the dishwasher, talk to me.
"When you're folding laundry,
"which is constant, talk to me.
Nursing, oh my goodness, that's a good 30 minutes
where you're just sitting still.
And I just realized that the ways that I wanted
to give the Lord, because I thought it was better
if I wake up at six before my kids
or if I do it when I'm all alone with the Lord.
And the Lord's like, "No, invite me in.
"Invite me in, I'll bring peace, I'll bring joy,
"and I'll ignite that fire that's in you
"and teach you while you do dishes."
And He still does that to this day.
I realized every part of my day, driving
and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
the Lord is with us, if we'll invite Him in.
He's there, but man, when we engage Him.
Loading the dishwasher is what did it for me.
(laughing)
Because I don't wanna load the dishwasher.
That's not like the fun part of my day.
But I realized when that's actually a moment
that I can give to the Lord and just talk,
that is my best some days, is talking to Him
while I load the dishwasher.
- And I think that's so crucial what you just said,
what you can give to the Lord.
Because I think for so long I wanted
to bring hundreds of souls before him
and all these huge, incredible, seemingly incredible moments
and then one day I realized what I could bring
before the Lord would be my children.
That when I see Him, and when I'm face-to-face with Him,
I get to say, here you are, Jesus.
This is what I did for your glory
and this is who I poured my life into
for your Honor and for your namesake.
And thankfulness, so much of it, it's our perspective.
We all have this perspective at home of our laundry
that we need to get done, but Jesus,
even in the trials and even in the hard places,
He had the perspective of us.
We were the joy set before Him,
even in the trial of the cross.
He could see us and He could have joy.
And I think of the Passover, right before,
and this gets intense, but right before Jesus was
gonna go to the cross and He was about to see the suffering
that He was gonna endure, He gave thanks.
He gave thanks before the cross.
And that is so powerful, because it's hard in the middle,
you mentioned that and highlighted that word,
in the middle, in the midst of all circumstances,
giving thanks and having that heart of gratitude.
And so many times I'm on a roller coaster
of my circumstances and of what's going on in my life.
But when you're in the trial and you can give thanks
to the Lord, and we always, always, always have
the cross to be thankful for.
And I never, never, never want to stop
being thankful for that, because the gospel can
be misrepresented, who He is can be misrepresented,
but what He's done, it never changes.
And we always have that.
- Yeah, that's so right.
- [Alisha] That's so good.
- Yeah, you think about, anything we give thanks for,
it multiplies.
We have our loaves and our fishes,
I think of the story of the loves and the fishes,
and that's what they brought.
I mean, that was given to them, first of all,
it was there, and then they gave thanks.
They lifted it up to God.
And He said that to me one time.
He said, "Anything you give thanks for, I'll multiply."
That position of gratitude, so it's like,
and that's what I was challenged with this morning,
was even not losing sight of the many things
that we could be thankful for in our day.
Sitting back and remembering my two year old
reading a book about Jesus dying on the cross
and kissing his boo boos, you know?
And saying, "Oh, I love you, Jesus.
"Owie, Jesus got an owie."
And I can look at that and I can thank God
for my daughter, I can thank God that I have her,
that she's healthy, you know?
That I have a home, that I have a roof over my head.
And as I do that, like what I was saying before,
and you guys were saying it unlocks something,
but then that multiplies in us, in our life.
It becomes a perspective that we can see the world through
amidst all the everyday seemingly mundane and ordinary.
- I think it's so important for thankfulness
to spill over into everyday life.
There's several believers that kind of have it
compartmentalized to when I go to Sunday,
that's my day where I'm intentionally giving thanks.
But I love, and I'm just gonna share a scripture,
if that's okay, because this is like so, just so good.
Romans 12, it says, I encourage you to surrender yourselves
to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices.
And live in holiness, experiencing all
that delights His heart.
For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
- [Ladies] Oh wow.
- I love that, like the idea that our everyday lives,
that we can present ourselves before Him
and be a living sacrifice, it's a continual thing
of worshiping Him and thanking Him
and praising Him with our lives.
And when it's every day, how much more genuine,
how much more powerful, because then it's a relationship
and it's not compartmentalized, you know?
- [Alisha] Yeah.
- [Krissy] Realizing that every good gift comes from above.
- Yeah. - So I can,
I hate the laundry, like I don't use that word,
but I hate it, so I have to practice this intentionally.
So I try to look at these little socks and say,
you know what, instead of like hating
that I have to fold these socks, I'm gonna think
of the feet that go in these socks.
I'm gonna think of the child that God gave me
that fills these, where his feet will go
and prophesy over his destiny and his life.
We're gonna take a quick break, and when we get back
we're gonna just be talking more about Jesus,
folding some laundry and being grateful, stick around.

Sometimes we just need that reminder
of who God says we are and what He thinks we can do.
And I love putting that on a shirt and wearing that
and telling myself and the world
that I'm created for the impossible,
that nothing's impossible for those who believe.
And I love to start my day out drinking a coffee,
hot coffee right out of my mug,
getting that Jesus perspective for my day,
that God thinks I can do anything
and I'm created for the impossible.

- Welcome back, I'm here with my amazing friends
and sisters, Mary, Sula and Alisha.
And we've got our laundry out, actually it's my laundry
from my house that I serious have not been able
to find time to fold or I just haven't prioritized it.
But you know, God put this on my heart as an illustration
for finding gratitude in our everyday,
for seeing Him in the everyday,
in what seems ordinary, in what seems mundane.
And this is to encourage you.
Whatever is before you, what is your ordinary?
What is your mundane, what is your almost rigamarole
that can even bring discouragement?
Find God there, because you'll see Him.
The bible says if we seek Him, we'll find Him.
And that's not just reserved for our prayer life
in the secret place, that is for our everyday,
wherever we are.
God says, "If you'll seek me in your workplace,
"you'll find me.
"If you'll seek me when you're in the grocery store,
"you'll find me," and a lot of times
where we find Him is in the person that needs something.
I think of Mother Teresa, who said,
"I see Jesus in everyone."
I see Him in the hungry, it's hungry Jesus.
It's sick Jesus, and that is what this is.
It's a call to action for us, seeing Jesus in everything
and in our everyday ordinary, right?
Paul says in Philippians 4:11, he said,
"I'm not saying this because I am need,
"for I have learned to be content
"in whatever the circumstances.
"I know what it is to be in need,
"and I know what it is to have plenty.
"I have learned the secret of being content
"in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,
"whether living in plenty or in want.
"I can do this through Him who gives me strength."
- I love it, that's one of my favorite verses.
And I feel like the picture of us folding laundry
totally is that, because so often
when you're watching TV or you're seeing something,
ministry happening, it's on a missions trip somewhere,
it's maybe a homeless organization feeding the hungry.
Or even watching like in Africa where they're helping tribes
and people have fresh water, which is amazing.
The breakdown is, though, the majority of people
watching this are at home with laundry
(ladies laughing) and dirty dishes and other things.
That doesn't just have to be household chores,
but it's our daily life that I believe the Lord delights in.
And when we can show that there's purpose
in everything that we do, then we're content.
Because I feel that internal frustration
when I feel like what I'm doing, folding,
there's no purpose in that.
I have no identity in that, that's not who I am is a folder.
(ladies laughing)
But the Lord will just say, no, look,
you're doing it to the least of these.
You are, every time you fold clothes,
you're preparing your home for your children
to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
There's purpose in that, He delights in that.
Every time I fix a sippy cup, which that was
a really big struggle for me.
It was like the constant, I had three small children
and they just wanted drinks all the time.
But I'm like, hey, but then it's like
the Lord just shows up and He's like,
no, you're giving the least of these a cup of water.
Now I have purpose every time I get up to go do that
or every time they ask for something
I'm actually serving the Lord, and it's an eternal reward
for taking care of His children.
So I love it, I love the laundry
because this is real life and what people are
actually dealing with, and instead of pushing it away,
be thankful for the opportunity daily
to serve God's children.
- That reminds me of my brother, who actually did go
to Africa, and when he left,
he left a high profile job, lots of money,
sold everything, went with his wife.
And at the same time, friends of his went to Toronto
and they went to Canada.
So the friends who went to Canada actually saw
a huge outpouring of God's presence and revival.
And it was kind of the ministry dream, you know?
God was moving powerfully, and here's my brother
in Africa, in the bush, and the Lord.
And the reason why they went there was
to adopt a little boy named Moses.
And so they had sold everything for this one little child
that they wanted to go out to.
And they so knew that he was so valuable to God.
And sometimes I think we just don't realize
how important our children are to the Lord.
And if we could see their value and their importance
before God, I think we would realize the honor
that it really is to lay our lives down for them.
I have this newborn, this little baby boy
named Noah at home, so here I am
and I'm waking up in the night.
And it, most of the time it really doesn't feel like a joy,
you know, I'm like, oh my goodness, he's crying again.
But yet when I think of my seven year old,
now seven year old, I'm like, oh those days
when she was a little newborn.
And it's perspective and it's embracing
where God has us, what He's calling to do,
and letting that tension go, that frustration,
releasing that control to the Lord
and embracing the season, the right now,
wherever it is that we are.
- I love that, and you know, if we could just grasp
the reality that we're not gonna miss
what God has for us-- - That's good.
- If we're in relationship with Him.
And so I think sometimes that's where
that tension comes from.
It's like we're afraid that we're never gonna get
to those things that maybe the Lord has prophetically spoken
over our lives, or maybe those dreams
or those things that He's placed in our heart
to accomplish for Him.
And it's almost like that's so far away,
but yet I'm just right here.
I think one of the greatest things that we can do is
just have awe and wonder and childlike faith
right where we are every day in relationship with Him
and know that He's good, like God is so good.
He wants to fulfill the things He's spoken over us
even more than we want to be able to be there
in the fulfillment of them.
And I think it's just, I don't know,
it's just awesome to have that trust
that He's so good and just being present with Him.
Because He'll give us something fresh every single day.
And His schooling, like school of Holy Spirit,
is way different than the world.
The things we think we would need to prepare ourselves
for those big things is always way different than
what they really are.
And then we can look back in hindsight,
and we'll be even more thankful for the ways
that God brought us and prepared us,
pruned us and made us ready for those bigger doors
that He does open, being faithful in the small things.
- Oh yeah, I think as women we need permission sometimes
to be content, and I just keep hearing that word,
permission to be content.
I needed permission to be content.
Leaving a job where I was climbing the corporate ladder
and all this stuff and things like that.
I needed permission that it was okay,
that this is a season.
And there's a season and a time.
The bible says that, there is a time and season
for everything, there's a time to plant,
there's a time to grow, there's a time to harvest.
And God wants us to know our season.
What season are we in?
And that's available, to identify the season
that we're in in life and then be content
in that season, why?
Because the steps of the righteous are ordered by God.
I know that as a daughter of God, my steps are ordered.
I'm right where I need to be.
Even if it's folding laundry, even if I feel like
I have a need or even if I have plenty,
like Paul was saying, I know that as long as I'm aligned
in His will, which thankfulness brings us in there,
it'll get us in there.
If we can't see it, God says, here's a key,
here's a tool, give thanks.
And we'll land in the will of God.
And suddenly, man, it's like, okay God,
I don't know how to make this happen,
but I'm gonna just keep folding,
and thank you for what you've given me.
Or I'm gonna keep serving and working,
and whatever it is.
Oh my goodness.
- Motherhood doesn't limit.
It doesn't put a limitation.
I think it helps us hold on.
- Yeah, and God doesn't put any limits on us.
So you know, I'm thankful for you guys being here
and that we could paint this picture for everybody
and that you're a part of that process.
I'm so thankful for you, again,
that you've been with us for season one.
Hey, guess what, there's gonna be a season two.
God said so, so we're gonna keep going.
And we're gonna launch season two.
I don't know what to expect, we'll probably fold
some more laundry, I don't know.
Maybe we'll have some sleeping bags out here or something.
But the goal is to be real and to paint the picture
that no matter where you are, no matter what situation
or circumstance you're in, you can be thankful,
and God has called you and He's chosen you
and He says to you, daughter,
you are created for the impossible too.
