After a 10-year makeover, King Tut's tomb is ready for its close-up - Duration: 3:58.

A symposium to celebrate the success of a decade-long restoration project on the tomb of King Tutankhamun was held Thursday in Luxor, Egypt -- a city on the east bank of the Nile River in southern part of the country

During the event, a documentary was screened that detailed every aspect of the research and conservation efforts undertaken to preserve the tomb of the legendary boy king, best known as "King Tut

" The project was launched in 2009 by the Los Angeles-based Getty Conservation Institute and the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, amid growing concerns that years of tourists and visitors has taken its toll on the 3,000-year-old tomb

The tomb was discovered in 1922 by Egyptologist Howard Carter, and has since become the most popular antiquities site in the world

The main damages incurred were caused by humidity, carbon dioxide and dust brought in by tourists, according to experts who restored the tomb

Filming equipment brought into the tomb has also caused abrasion and scratches on the walls, which required restoration

Pictures of the completed restoration show the vivid colors of the mural depicting Tut's life, restored after layers of dust that had created a grey veil were removed

To ensure that the tomb remains intact and accessible for generations, air filtration and ventilation system were installed, in addition to walkways, lighting and a viewing platform

The 1,182 square-foot tomb was opened for visitors during the 10-year years of work

"This project conducted the most thorough study of the tomb since the time of Howard Carter," Tim Whalen during the press conference

The preservation effort also focused on identifying the "mysterious brown spots" on the wall paintings, present since the tomb was first opened, to ensure no new growth taking place

DNA and chemical analysis deemed the spots to be "microbiological in origin" but dead and hence is not a threat

Also present at the presser was former minister of antiquities Zahi Hawass. The project was initiated during his term

Hawass described the project as one of the "best studies research ever done in Egypt

"

Hey guys today we're making a super easy yogurt feta dip

You know when you have friends over for a dinner party or a football game, and you want to serve them a super easy appetizer?

but you don't know what in the

heck

to make? This is what you should make

It comes together in minutes using Greek yogurt, feta cheese, fresh herbs and garlic

It's light and satisfying and healthy and everyone loves it. And, it only takes minutes to throw together

So stick around, let's head to the kitchen, and I'll show you how it's done

We're going to start by grating some fresh garlic into a bowl. I love using my microplane

Not only because it makes the process really easy. But because you get a really fine mince

so that garlic will evenly distribute throughout the dip. Now I need some fresh lemon juice

I only need a tablespoon which is usually about half of a lemon. And yep! This looks about perfect

So I'm going to add this into the bowl, and then mix the garlic and lemon juice together

We're going to let this sit for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes

And this is going to mellow out that garlic flavor so that it's not so strong in the final dip. Now for our fresh herbs

I've got scallions (you could also use chives). The fresh herbs in this dip really make it special so get the fresh, not the dried!

Fresh dill, which I love.

It just reminds me of spring, even if it's the dead of winter. And then some fresh tarragon

Now if you can't find tarragon you could go for mint instead or even parsley. Okay, let's add our yogurt

This is a whole milk Greek yogurt. I prefer not to use low-fat here

You just won't get the same flavor and texture. Also, some milk to help thin it out, and then some crumbled feta cheese

Now, let's add those fresh herbs. I'm going to add two tablespoons of the scallions

One tablespoon of the dill, and a teaspoon of the tarragon

You don't need as much because it has a stronger flavor

Next, I'm adding a quarter teaspoon of Aleppo pepper, or you could use a pinch of red pepper flakes, and a teaspoon of honey

The honey is just going to round out all of the flavors

Season this up well with salt and pepper, and you guys that is it! All we have to do now is

mix it up until everything is evenly incorporated

The last thing you want to do is just give it a taste to make sure it has enough salt and pepper. Mmmm!

I love it. Now, you can serve this dip with chips or with veggies

I like to do a mix of both and just pile them on a platter and then pour the dip into a serving bowl

This is the kind of thing that is just as fitting at a fancy dinner party as it is at a casual potluck with friends

Drizzle the top with a little olive oil, and sprinkle it with some more herbs. And you guys, watch it disappear

It's creamy and garlicky and a little sweet and spicy

It's pretty much the ultimate dip, and it's also healthy

what is Valentine's Day to a preschooler well in our house it's an opportunity for

mommy to show her daughter that she loves her and today I wanted to talk

about heart lunches or Valentine's Day lunches even though I realize that

Valentine's Day is not like a "thing" for Jewish families I do think that my

daughters enjoy a little bit of extra love on Valentine's Day these heart

lunches have a lot of value on a birthday or another day where you just

want to show your child that you care if you've watched me before you know that

this is my go-to lunchbox it has amazing compartments and just by pairing it with

a red or other festive napkin this already feels like a Valentine's Day

lunch to me I wanted to broaden for you today the possibilities of what might be

a Valentine's lunch for your child think about what is your child's love language

that might be sushi it's super convenient at most markets that might

also be a hamburger or a tuna sandwich so you don't need to do like a sweet

lunch or a chocolaty lunch for it to feel like a Valentine's Day lunch let's

start with the sweet treats because I know that's everyone's expectation over

here I've pulled from both my pantry refrigerator and I even stopped at the

bakery today to show you some things that you might want to pack I am

stocking up in advance of Valentine's Day on things like these beautiful

heart-shaped sesame crackers these are a lavash type water cracker

left over from Tu B'shvat my chocolate-covered fruits that come from

Trader Joe's and here are some little jams that I love to send in my lunch

boxes these are Bonne Maman brand they are kosher and I ordered these on Amazon

in bulk and I'll leave the link for you down below in the description box these

are so popular with preschoolers and I love packing them in little lunches or

serving them for playdates I did stop off at the Dollar Tree and they have a

great selection of heart-shaped chocolates which are very traditional

and would be nice to tuck in as a treat I also stopped off at the bakery and I

picked up some doughnut holes anything like this that you put some sprinkles

over is automatically much more festive these are a great last-minute thing that

you can pick up the night before and your child things like strawberries are

just naturally heart-shaped as are raspberries so these are really healthy

natural treats if you're vegan you're gonna want to put these in your lunches

things like a sweet potato can be cut and made into sweet potato fries and in

advance I like to stock up on some sweet treats in my freezer like these cheese

blintzes which pair really well with a little jam or you can pack jam in a

small container those are some sweet fun treats I haven't even gotten to baking

yet but let's go look at the salty things and then we can talk about how to

package it I was really in stocking up mode at the grocery store so when I find

things that are like fancy brioche for a dollar 79 I'm putting this into my

freezer for lunches another week I also get a challah every week and my challah

is great to use with a cookie cutter to make a heart-shaped sandwich this is how

I control the cookie cutters in my life I have so many shapes but my heart shape

is by far my favorite one to use and I just run a ribbon through them and tie

it peanut butter or Sun butter and jelly would be a great heart shaped sandwich

for Valentine's Day you could also do a savory and healthy salad that's kind

of a romantic combination here I've picked up beets that I would normally

roast and do with grapefruit or pink grapefruit cucumbers and avocado that's

super healthy for my children you know nothing says I love you like noodles and

this thin spaghetti with a simple sauce would be a perfectly respectable

Valentine's Day lunch tuna sandwiches are also in my daughters love language

sushi that she loves you could do a steakhouse theme even if you leave this

steak out and just do a loaded baked potato for your lunchbox and here's

another unusual prepared food that I picked up today which is beet hummus

and I thought it would be a wonderful healthy treat to introduce my children

and my husband to leading up to Valentine's Day down here I wanted to

share with you some of the little accessories and ways that you can

present these foods something as simple a banana or even a prepackaged snack

like applesauce that can be made to say I love you just with a sharpie or with

some stickers that you have at home I know lots of parents like to write

little love notes on bananas to their kids which i think is so sweet I do have

always a selection of sprinkles on hand these last basically forever and again

this is a fun way to jazz up a lunch cake mix and icing you can just pull

this from your pantry or buy it when it's on sale bake that with your

children in a cute little muffin cup I have these pastel colors that are great

and they're silicon which pack great in your lunchbox jello or something like

jello can be put into molds that you might already have at home pull out your

doilies these are all at the Dollar Tree right now for a little of nothing a

little toy or treat it doesn't have to be food you can tuck this into your

lunch box fancy marshmallows and I even pulled from the garden some edible

flowers we have pansies in our yard you might have calendulas or nasturtiums and

if you don't have a garden these can be purchased in boxes at fancy gourmet

supermarkets it sounds like going overboard but these

are like a calorie free way to make any healthy lunch feel fancy and romantic

for Valentine's Day thank you so much for sticking with me today I know that I

can be a little out there with my lunches but I share that with you

because I know everyone is different and there's a whole breadth of preferences

and I want you to be able to feed your child in a wholesome and healthy way

kosher style if you keep kosher in a way that's gonna really delight them because

everyone loves to feel the love I hope you enjoyed these sample lunches that

3D Mounts for Osmo Pocket BTS of commercial video. - Duration: 7:33.

Hi, guys! Justo here.

Today, I want to bring you a new video.

I'm in Dominican Republic.

I'm on vacation with my family.

Happy New Year for all.

I want to talk a little bit about the Osmo Pocket.

I made a video (you can check on top) about how I feel with this camera,

after a week of using it.

I like the Osmo Pocket. I just have a few complaints.

One of those is related to the rough way in which I had to mount it for the previous time-lapse video;

and a few days later, after posting the review video,

we had the opportunity to use the Osmo Pocket

to produce an ad-video for a company named "Velo".

We needed a tracking shot where the car would be following us

and some shots inside the car too...

and I said: Hey!

I can use the Osmo Pocket for that!

So I decided to buy a 3D printer since DJI was not selling mounts for the Osmo at that moment.

With my first set-up, I didn't feel safe enough to hang it in the way I did it in this commercial

Here I show you how that day went down.

- So... what are we doing here?

Well... Here, we're going to make a tracking shot...

moving shot, tracking shot... with the Osmo Pocket.

Because DJI didn't included WiFi in the Osmo,

I am using this USB cable, Type C to Type C.

So now I can control the camera.

One of the limitations of Osmo Pocket is that it doesn't turn 360º

Now this complicates the shot for me a little bit because the driver is on the other side.

So I don't know if the camera can turn enough... No, it can't ...

This means that I'll have to find a position where I can use the Osmo Pocket facing the driver a 100%.

We're going to make this shot in 1080p

I want the Osmo follows the face of the driver,

that way I don't have to do it manually.

1080p @ 60 FPS

and this was stuck to the glass of my vehicle.

I am very happy with the 3D printer. I didn't know that I would like it so much.

It's so cool that you can turn an idea into something solid.

That it's incredible.

I had to change some measurements at the beginning, because the original design was very tight.

I printed it again, slightly bigger, and now it fits perfectly. It is great.

Now, to do a Time-lapse I won't be using my old set-up.

Now, is this!

with this 3D printed ring

I can hook up this with any GoPro accessory.

 "It sounded like it [was nervous]," Van Dijk admitted, per Goal.  "Nah, not to me! But, obviously, you get that feeling as well from the crowd and I think it's not really necessary at the moment

 "The pitch was horrendous. It was full of ice, obviously, but they need to deal with that as well

We had most of the ball and then it's difficult to break them down. At times we had our opportunities, we were dangerous, but in the end it wasn't enough to score a goal

"  Van Dijk may have a point, but it's hard for Liverpool fans not to be nervy given their past failings in Premier League title races

 With the margins for error so slim - particularly with a team like Man City on your tail - eliminating the nervous atmosphere at Anfield when the team aren't winning will not be easy
