Buckingham Palace has announced the engagement of Lady Gabriella Windsor - daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, who is first cousins with Queen Elizabeth II - to her boyfriend Thomas Kingston
The palace said in a statement: "Prince and Princess Michael of Kent are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor to Mr Thomas Kingston
"The engagement took place in August, Mr Kingston proposed on the Isle of Sark (Guernsey)
" The couple will marry in spring 2019, in the third royal wedding for the family in the last year
Lady Gabriella is a senior director for Branding Latin America, based in Knightsbridge, London and has written for various newspapers and magazines
She shares a birthday with Prince Louis and was born on April 23, 1981 in St Mary's Hospital in London and is 37-years-old
Ella, as she is known to friends and family, is 50th in line to the throne and her father Prince Michael was pushed to 46th, following the birth of Prince Louis on April 23, 2018
Her new fiance Tom Kingston "works in frontier market investment and is a Director of Devonport Capital", according to the statement from the palace
Lady Gabriella has an older brother, Lord Frederick, who married Sophie Winkleman in 2009
They have two daughters, Maud Elizabeth Daphne Marina and Isabella Alexandra May Windsor
Lady Gabriella attended the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011
And they were guests at the wedding of Pippa Middleton last year, Thomas Kingston is said to have dated Pippa Middleton for a period of time
However Lady Gabriella was not invited to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding
The wedding will be the third in a year, after the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earlier this year
Before Lady Gabriella's wedding will be the nuptials of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank who tie the knot on October 12 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle
At 37, Lady Gabriella is thought to be the oldest first-time royal bride in recent years after forging a successful career and living overseas
She was educated at Queen's Gate School in London and Downe House School in Berkshire
She then moved to the US where she graduated with a BA degree in comparative literature
