Google Home and Google Assistant New Updates and New Features for September 30, 2018 - Duration: 6:38.Hello everyone. Thanks for tuning in again. It's time to get started with
another Google Home and Google Assistant new features, new updates, and of course
new products. Everything that is the latest with the Google Home and Google
Assistants. So let's get going. The first thing to talk about this week is
actually the fact that this little device right here, the Google Home Mini,
was the top-selling speaker actually in quarter 2 of 2018.
So this captured 20% of the smart home market, whereas the Amazon Echo Dot
captured 18 percent. Now overall what I'll tell you is Amazon is still ahead
because their Amazon Echo outperformed the larger Google Home device here, and
the Google Home Max of course, but ultimately we can see that lead eroding
from Amazon. Something that you've likely expected was the case already was that
Google Assistant was available on Android Auto. Well that hasn't been the
case and it is now going to be the case as Google rolls out updates to Android
Auto in a number of countries. Now of course with this there's not going to be
a keyboard, so you're not able to type in commands, Google obviously doesn't want
to promote you typing into an interface in a car. Now the countries that will be
getting Android Auto pushed out to them are Australia, France, Germany, the UK, and the
United States. So kind of all the the normal countries that we're used to
getting these kinds of features first, but there you go. One of the things that
we're seeing is called digital wellbeing and we know that both Apple and Google
have been focusing on that, and they've been trying to add that as an extra
feature to their phones, to their operating systems, and ultimately to the
Google Home in this case, and the Google's Assistant settings now on top
of that what we're seeing is digital wellbeing starting to show up in the
settings applications in the next apk or the next download of both the Google app
and the Google Assistant app. Something that was brought to my attention by
actually one of our followers here, Justin Harvey, is his
name. I'll leave his Twitter profile down below, you can follow him, he kind of
follows all the technology space just like I do, and he pointed out that Roku,
all of the TVs and the streaming boxes, will be able to utilize the Google
Assistant. So there's integration coming here right away through your Roku to
search for TV show,s movies, etc., and go ahead and get those playing on your
device. So that integration is right away here coming for Roku. On top of all of
this we've seen Google consistently adding new languages to their list of
supported languages basically for the Google Assistant and the Google
Home. Now this week and actually last week we started seeing Danish and
Norwegian rollout for the Google Assistant. So it's not quite on the
Google Home just yet, but you can use it with Google Assistant. You're going to be
able to get both of those languages. One thing that we've been hearing a lot
about is the material theme design, and we've been seeing little snippets of it
here and ther,e but with devices like the Lenovo Smart Display, JBL has one of
course, and you know we're basically on pins and needles about the Pixel 3 here,
but ultimately with those devices coming out, Google Assistant is now getting the
material theme design pushed out to it all over the world, and what we're seeing
is those cards of information showing up when we're asking questions that Google
wants to provide a visual response for us. Something that's been an interesting
trend, and I didn't quite understand this functionality until I started reading
about it here, recently the Sony Xperia XZ3 is another phone that will have the
Google Assistant on board. You'll be able to basically bring it up with the use of
the power button actually I think you double tap it if I remember correctly,
but it's getting some specialized commands for that device through the
Google Assistant. So it's not just your standard set of instructions that you
have access to, you actually get a few custom
commands with that. Things like manipulating the camera, how it's taking
pictures. SimpliSafe is a home security system with a $25 a month or $24.99 USD a
month service fee that you can go ahead and get professional monitoring for. So
it's kind of a do-it-yourself system with SimpliSafe's hub. Now SimpliSafe
has gone ahead and they've created integration with Google Home and Google
Assistant, so you can go ahead and you can actually arm your system, ask the
status of your system, and get other statuses from the SimpliSafe security
system. Now you do have to have that $25 a month professional monitoring service.
Something that I don't think has been out there quite as far-reaching as say a
device like Circle by Disney is Google's Family Link. Now what this is is this is
capability for you as a parent to limit screen time. Now there are some
requirements for what devices you have, and what device your child has. They must
have an Android device of 7.0 or better, and if they don't you can't limit their
time, but you can as the parent have an iOS device of a certain level. I think
it's iOS 9, but I'll leave a link down below. You can go ahead and read all
about Family Link by Google. It's now integrated with the Google Assistant. One
last thing to talk about, Disney has added three
basically text-based games to the Google Assistant. We haven't talked about kids
for a little while her,e we haven't really seen the push from Google on the
kids side as hard, but Disney has come along with three games. They are Maui's
music game, the Disney Princess, and Toy Story freeze dance. Now those games are
obviously available through your Google Assistant and your Google Home right now.

Shopping for a New BMW - Do I Buy One of the Most Unreliable BMWs? - Duration: 11:39.Hey guys. Welcome back it's Mark with Exotic Car Play Place. Today we are going
to go and do some shopping for the most unreliable 3-series BMW because I am
looking at a new daily driver, and we'll go take a look down at some of the
dealers and see if we can find one of the cars that's right for me. let's go.
now I am down at the dealer and I've actually found two of the favourite cars,
two cars that I'm considering buying as the most unreliable 3-series BMW is
available today. now you're probably gonna ask yourself
why would you want to buy the most unreliable 3-series BMW? well it's mainly
because that particular BMW happens to be the most tunable car, and there's no
surprise that you know based on my channel, I like exotic cars, supercars,
fast cars in general. why wouldn't I want to go fast? so I want a car that's
tunable but I don't want to start with a hundred and fifty thousand dollar car.
I'm gonna start with something that most people can afford, and I'm gonna guide
you through this, if I decide to buy a car like this, then I'm gonna share with
you the experience. so let's look at this. I basically got two choices here now.
what I'm talking about is the 335 BMW. now why is the 335 my best choice? well
mainly because the 335 has turbochargers, and typically anything with
turbochargers is very, very tunable, and you can usually extract a lot of
horsepower out of a turbocharged car. so that's why I've narrowed my search down
to the 335. now there's a few selections in the 335s, some of them you can get up
to 2010 they come with the infamous n 54 motor that is notoriously unreliable
with the twin turbos, and then if you look at a 2011 and newer, then you're
basically dealing with cars that have been slightly improved, although they're
not perfect either because again anything turbocharged typically has
additional heat and stress and therefore reliability goes down the hole. so we're
gonna start with this one. here is a 335. now I found one, so there's two other
choices so aside from going with you know the n54 or the N55 engine, which is
newer. there's other choices like we have here the sedan, so this is the four-door
sedan, obviously this is pretty generic looking, pretty standard, they own the
marketplace for sports sedans in my opinion, and so here is a 335. let's take
a look around. this is a sedan, this one has the X Drive, so there's some options
you can go with the all-wheel drive, which I'm probably going to go with
because I live in northern climate. of course lots of snow where I live.
this one unfortunately has some kind of the small wheels so you probably want to
have that upgraded, but you'll notice the 335 has the dual exhaust in the back, but
looking at the taillights, that's one distinct difference, so just
the way it happens, we actually have a coupe here as well to compare this with.
so I'm considering the sedan or the coupe. I'm not sure like there's
angles of both that I really like, and you'll notice of course you know the
headlights are mainly the same. let's take a look at some of the exterior
features. obviously it's X Drive, you know, we've got this style, a mirror here, what
else do we have in these, in the sedan?
well this particular sedan here has the wood grain interior, it's very nicely
equipped here as well standard seats, power seats of course, lots of nice
finishing in these cars. now we go to the back now, the beauty part with the sedan
is it actually gives you, you'll notice one, two, three seats, and you get all the
foot space in here. so if you have three you know two adults and maybe a
child or three smaller adults, you can fit three people in here. so this is
actually a five seater and then we move over here, so we're gonna look at a coupe
now. that most people would agree that coupes are more beautiful
look overall. the style is much more attractive. this one here is the M
package, this car is particularly attractive, you know you've got the M
spoiler. on the front it definitely looks a lot more aggressive. now the wheels are
prettier here as well, the upscale wheels on here, you'll notice
the mirrors, it's a different style of mirror as well on the coupe, the overall
look is different for sure, maybe you've got to stretch body lines on the coupe
you've got this nice crease that runs along so this is a different different
piece and of course since we talked about the taillights this of course is
at 335 but the taillights are sleeker and notice they're kind of a skinnier
type of taillight on here as well here you've got the dual exhaust dual exhaust
on this guy as well so it's a very very pretty car now this one here happens to
have some junk in the trunk this guy here's got some spare tires
looks like some winter rubber in the back of the seat here so I can't show
you that in this case the downside with this coupe here that we're looking at is
yes it's prettier yes its overall a much more attractive car and this one's
actually got better upscale you know finishing versus the other sedan that
being said you can do that as well with the sedans you can find a better
equipped sedan but this one actually only has two seats in the back and I
can't show you that because of the tires in the back but the coupes only have two
seats as well this car only has two wheel drive rear wheel drive only I've
only got essentially the rear wheels drive in this car so less practical for
winter time less practical as well with the back seats because if you have kids
like I do then this is going to be a little bit more of a compromise of
course this is really more of a sports car than the sedan and so we look around
you'll notice that a traditional grille pretty standard fare there but overall
underneath is what really matters and that's why I'm looking at buying the 335
even though it's the most unreliable 3 Series it's because the tune ability of
the engine that's under that hood so let's maybe take a look and see have a
quick look so let's pop the hood of this sedan here
I'm gonna do the old that and there is the infamous n54 engine that we have
under the hood of this sedan now while it looks pretty stealthy this car is
extremely powerful and extremely tunable now they come standard with a 300
horsepower and 300 pound feet of torque unlike this very easy to access
that's BMWs always got that sort of stuff figured out now I'm down in there
there's some you know changing the serpentine belt can be a challenge and
some of the other things in here can be a challenge we all know that these cars
are notorious through high pressure fuel pumps are known to go injectors are
known to go this is of course a straight-6 so there's six injectors they
are known to fail as well you've got leaks from that valve cover
gaskets and look isn't this funny this everything looks very kind of moist in
here and so this is pretty typical to find wet top end on these cars not
uncommon at all of course turbos can go he's got cars also have the occasional
wastegate rattle coolant issues you've got leaks now the rad and everything is
tucked in behind here and there's your fan of course your rad is tucked down in
there neatly but of course that can be an issue as well as the water pump the
water pumps are also notorious for these things and that's going to be something
you can almost guarantee you'll be changing at some point so that is the N
for engine now the plus side now why would you buy an end 54 like this over
the end 55 which is the 2011 and newer why would you because these ones so far
have more tune ability and they definitely have
of in after-market support the end 55s are getting there but they're not quite
there yet so these are actually made to modify their their a better car for
tuning if you want to make the car go fast this is the engine that you want to
have the n54 this coupe this also has the m54
again more tunable then you get in the in the end 55 like the 2011 and newer
but again these cars are made to go fast and they are fun now the downside to
both of these particular cars is they're both automatics the downside here is
this car is actually an automatic I really want the manual gearbox this car
super clean otherwise holding up very well I'm not sure what the mileage is on
this car but again the fact that this is an auto I'm probably not even gonna
bother the salespeople about this because it's not really what I'm looking
for as well you've got that fancy the latest I drive in here pretty routine
stock steering wheel small and beefy and pretty typical for the BMW you'll notice
the wear and tear as well I've seen that on my x5 as well as m5 pretty standard
issues with these cars and that we're on that that material there so then the
question is again I know you've probably asked again and again if it's so
unreliable which it is why would you buy this car well mainly for the fact that I
want to go fast now that being said it is one of the most unreliable 3-series
BMW is available but so is an m3 of many of the generations and I've considered
shopping for one of them as well I'm really interested in possibly picking up
in m3 particularly the e90 series because I'm actually thinking about
considering strapping an ESS supercharger to an e 90 and make that
thing go really really fast so we'll see about that
but for now I'm looking at the 335 not because it's unreliable but because it's
tunable and the the problem here is these two
cars are automatic and for me I like driving a stick see why not remove one
more point of possible failure manual transmissions are generally inherently
more reliable while clutches do burn out it's generally not as big an issue as if
you have an automatic that burns out it's a much bigger repair so anyway I
would typically go with the manual and neither of these are manual
transmissions and therefore I think I'm gonna skip these two so I'm gonna keep
on looking so I really hope you enjoyed the video guys I just want to give you a
summary of some of the key differences between the coupes and the sedans and a
few of the different variations and why I would buy this car this in fact is the
car I'm starting to shop for the 335 with a manual gearbox and probably the
xDrive that's the car that I'm likely going to wind up with if I find the
right car so stick with me on the search everybody I want to share with you the
experiences along the way as I shop for these cars unfortunately these are not
the cars that I'm looking for here but we'll get to that so hope you everybody
liked the video you make sure you give me a thumbs up like subscribe and we'll
talk to you real soon thanks again guys buh-bye

Moving for £16.2m rated ace would give Arsenal an instant Mkhitaryan upgrade | Arsenal FC - Duration: 2:21.One player that undoubtedly has been below par is Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenian winger has enjoyed moments of brilliance, but much like his time at Man
Utd, he's often fallen short more often than not.
That's something that isn't going to bode well for the Gunners long-term, as consistency
is crucial to maintaining any sort of sustained success.
Naturally, then, Arsenal would be foolish not to consider an upgrade in this area of
the pitch, and one attacker that has looked good in Europe as of late is Bertrand Traore,
who was brought to England by Chelsea prior to his switch to current side Lyon.
He's currently rated at £16.2 million by Transfer Markt.
If anything, Traore has been one of the most successful of Chelsea's loanees, having
earned a place in the Lyon first team alongside some of Europe's brightest talents, like
Nabil Fekir and Memphis Depay.
An attacking midfielder by trade, he's able to play across the attack, though is perhaps
best used on the right-hand side.
There, he's able to cut in and cause damage when he's close to goal, with a number of
Arjen Robben-esque goals bagged by the Burkina Faso man already in his career.
Furthermore, with excellent energy, pace and technique, there is far more than just one
string to his bow.
Just as capable passing the ball as he is receiving it and driving towards goal, he's
able to make a real nuisance of himself in the attack.
At just 23-years-old, he's only getting better, too, and that bodes well for the long-term
dynasty that Unai Emery is attempting to build at the Emirates.
He's not the complete player, but Mkhitaryan simply isn't doing the business so far this
term, and with Mesut Ozil best used through the middle, bringing in a more naturally right-sided
player makes perfect sense.

Sarah Ferguson poised for Royal Wedding return: Who is the Duchess of York? - Duration: 3:32.Sarah, Duchess of York is the archetypal mother of the bride, a larger-than-life character prone to controversy, outspoken and fiercely loyal to her family
Dubbed Fergie by the media, the duchess, 58, has experienced the ups and downs of life in the limelight - from a fairytale royal wedding to her infamous "toe-sucking" scandal and Oprah Winfrey show confessional
The duchess reportedly has a strained relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh, who she claimed in a tabloid interview once labelled her "odd and pointless"
And she has found herself on the fringes of royal life, finding it "difficult" to cope with being left off the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding guest list, and allocated a seat far from her family and senior royals when invited to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's nuptials
But she will be playing a starring role for the wedding of her daughter Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank on October 12 in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle
Sarah Ferguson was born on October 15 1959 to Major Ron Ferguson and Susan Barrantes and can trace her ancestry back to royalty
A young Sarah grew up around royalty as her father played polo with the Duke of Edinburgh and was polo manager for the Prince of Wales
It is said romance blossomed between the boisterous redhead and the Duke of York in the mid-1980s thanks to scheming by an unlikely matchmaker - Diana, Princess of Wales
The couple wed in 1986 and had two daughters, Princess Beatrice born in 1988 and Princess Eugenie two years later
Royal life with its protocols and procedures stifled the boisterous duchess and the long periods that her husband Andrew spent away with the Royal Navy did not help their marriage
The pair split in 1992 and that year the infamous photograph showing American John Bryan kissing her feet was published by a tabloid newspaper
The duke and duchess divorced four years later but the break-up was amicable and they both played important roles in the lives of their daughters
In the years that followed, Sarah was said to have struggled with money problems
She turned her finances around by working in America, including acting as a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers for 10 years from 1997 and writing a series of children's books and self-help and lifestyle guides
But in 2010 she was caught up in the cash-for-access scandal, offering to sell an introduction to her ex-husband for £500,000 to an undercover reporter posing as a businessman
After the scandal broke, Sarah was interviewed by US chat show queen Winfrey and said about Andrew: "We are divorced and I don't want to keep being this burden on him
" But the couple have remained close and are said to still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park
Speaking ahead of the wedding to the BBC's The One Show, the duchess said about the planning for the event: "Jack and Eugenie are very contemporary, they are very inclusive, and they are all about love, and they want this wedding to be about that - to include everybody and to really absorb the love they have for each other with everybody else
"
