Doctor: Come in and have a seat please.

Doctor: Hello,I'm a doctor Siwakorn and what's your name ?

Patient: I'm Putthaporn Jaruvadeerattana you can call me bright.

Doctor: Nice to meet you. How old are you?

Patient: I'm 19 years old.

Doctor: How can I help you today?

Patient: I have difficulty falling asleep and staying sleep for 2 months. I am unable to fall sleep until at least an hour after going to bed.

Doctor: Ok. So, you've been having insomnia for 2 months. Have you ever had this kind of symptoms?

Patient: No, I had no previous sleep problem.

Doctor: Then you sleep. Do you wake up in the middle of the night?

Patient: yes I do. I wake up in the middle of the night about 2-3 times a night and if I wake up it'll take me about 30 minutes to fall asleep again.

Patient: Doctor: Okay, now your problem is the insomnia and waking up in the middle of the night. Have you used drugs to solve this problem? Such a sleeping pill.

Patient: Some times. I used drug to solve the problem.

Doctor: Do you have any other symptoms such as Headache, trouble breathing or stomachache.

Patient: I have a headache and I'm also sleepy during the day.

Doctor: What do you worry about or can you think of any events that affect you mentally.

Patient: My sister died 2 months ago. It makes me very sad.

Doctor: I'm sorry about that. Stress can also contribute to insomnia. And do you drink any coffee or alcohol drink before your bedtime?

Patient: 2-3 cups of coffee a day. But I don't drink alcohol.

Doctor: OK. Your problem is probably caused by stress and eating habits. I advise you to reduce these drinks. It causes you to difficulty fall asleep.

Doctor: I have some behavioral techniques to help you easily fall asleep. Diaphragmatic breathing slow, Deep breathing,

Muscle relaxation and also if you wake in the middle of the night you should stay still that can help you to sleep again.

I give you this is basic sleep hygiene. Some of the main ones you know are avoiding heavy meals before bedtime, turning down yourself down slowly during the two hours,

doing some relaxing things, listening to soft music and maybe turning your TV off. Just like this, it helps you to sleep better.
