When Resident Evil 2 Remake was announced at E3, the trailer featured a silhouette of
what appeared to be a little zombie girl.
A new trailer gives us small confirmation of this mysterious figure, and…dang…we
still have a lot of questions.
So who is this kid, what is she doing here
"Who Are You, What are you doing here"
and will there be others like her in the new Resident Evil 2 REEEMAKKKEEE
The first thing you probably thought when seeing this picture is
"I thought you were another one of those zombies"
However, let's take a closer look at the freeze frame.
Notice the duality of their facial features.
One side has what appears to be a scary dead eye with more bruising and cuts and the other
side looks more like a normal face, with reflections causing the hair to appear whiter & purer.
If we mirror the face, we get 2 very different looking girls, one looks like a normal girl,
the other, like a demonic zombie.
So what is happening here?
The easy answer is this girl is 100% a zombie.
But RE2's director may want to focus on the emotional side of zombie transformation,
and the battle of good vs evil that goes on inside.
In that case, the kid could be infected but not yet a full zombie.
The time from bite to zombie might be a long and arduous one.
This would lead to more emotionally deep moments, not just with this little kid, but with Marvin
who is turning into a zombie, and Leon & Claire who may have to deal with their friend in
a not so fun way.
If she isn't turning, she could just be a half-zombie or other type of creature.
Perhaps a genetic deficiency does not fully allow the Virus to take over?
This could lead to a half friend, half enemy conflicted character and some interesting
outcomes.
She could even be an Umbrella experiment gone wrong.
A precursor to Evie from RE7?
If she is a rejected BOW hybrid or escaped during Hunk's infiltration, she might help
Leon or Claire as revenge.
If she is a rejected or escaped BOW hybrid, she may end up being a help to Leon or Claire
for revenge.
If not, perhaps they will have to take her on as an enemy or in boss form.
And who is this kid?
Is it Sherry's classmate?
Irons granddaughter?
Kendo's daughter?
What is her connection to the original game or is she the new Lisa Trevor?
In One of our previous videos we showed you several pieces of evidence that point to a
new school area being in RE2make.
If that turns out to be the case, this character could be an infected student who runs into
the school forcing Leon or Claire to enter in an attempt to save her.
Or it could be a Sherry only no weapon portion of the game.
Which leads us back to the questions.
Will there be other zombie kids.
Will they be enemies?
Will we fight them?
Right now all we can do is speculate, and hope to learn a little bit more about this
zombie looking kid, who she is and what her appearance means, in Resident Evil 2 Reeemakkke.
