In today's tutorial I'm going to explain why you should use two screens for white

base and a white top print coming up hey welcome back everybody if you're new to

the channel be sure to subscribe hit the bell icons that way you get

notifications next time we upload our next video so you'll have to bear with

me a little bit on this video this is actually a tutorial that I was creating

two years ago and the tutorial that I did record is still valid to this day

and what it's about is using an under base screen and a top screen really

truly you kind of use this method when you are doing the three color print

looks like two colors but on a color shirt you're going to use a white

underbase your color print and then your wife you can print your white underbase

flash it and then do your color and your white top wet-on-wet and it speeds

things up have you ever found yourself printing a shirt printing flashing

printing and flashing that white again and the white happens to stick to your

screen sticks to the bottom the reason is is because that white base is

starting to build up so thick and when you go to print on top of that thick

film that is your under base that you're also trying to print as your white it's

thick it has a harder time flashing and when you go to print your color on top

of that it sticks to the bottom of the screen so this is a solution to help

keep that from happening Matt with my key designs here and I just

want to show you this little project that I'm working on and the reason why I

show you it looks pretty simple this is house design but what I wanted to show

you guys is how bright this white is and the fact that I'm using a white

underbase so we got three screens to do this we had a white underbase and then

we've got a red or our will cross out there or whatever you want to call it

and then a white highlight screen and these are all 200 230 mesh screens of

glaze these are all 200 I used to go about doing something like this with

just printing a under base twice and probably something like a 110 I've

switched here in the past few months to doing things this way the reason for

that is just because you don't build up a stick of layer of paint you still have

a really bright white as you can see here that's pretty bright and some other

problems that using a 110 and print flash printing and then doing your color

on top of all that is it can lead to the color eventually washing out it's harder

to be consistent with your tears as far as making sure the ink has completely

cured all the way through and this also saves a little bit of money on these

screen printers in because you're not taking on a bunch of ink it gives a

little bit softer fulfil so anyways I just want to share that

little tip with you this is a two-color job but technically it's a three and I

would recommend doing it that way to prevent any problems with it washing out

or or anything along those lines thanks for tuning in guys I really do

appreciate it be sure to subscribe give this video like leave a comment share a

contents that way you can help us grow this channel so we can provide more

useful tutorials such as this one also don't forget that we are an official rep

for cast bit productions so use our promo code Mikey designs you'll get $5

Top 10 Untold Truths Of Not Showering For A Year - Duration: 11:38.

For some reason, one of the top topics, nay questions, that has been floating around the

internet as of late is what would happen if you stopped showering for an entire year.

While many YouTube personalities jump on opportunities to crush the latest challenge, no one jumped

on this question even if it would be a lot easier than mailing oneself across the Atlantic

(We're using the word 'mailing' loosely here).

So here are the Top 10 things that'd happen if you stopped showering for a year.

Prepare to get gross!

Up First, the Obvious, You'd Smell

The first thing that I'm sure you, and those around you, would notice if you stopped bathing,

is that you'd smell really bad.

First off, when you stop bathing you'd acquire a ton of bacteria on the top of your skin

that when mixed with your sweat, gives off an odor.

Beyond that, there are different types of sweat that your body produces which is why

your armpits tend to smell a lot faster than other parts of your body (luckily, otherwise

your entire body would just reek whenever you sweated even a little).

The sweat in your armpits actually comes from different glands than the sweat on the rest

of your body.

These glands are called eccrine glands.

Eccrine glands tend to lurk in areas that have hair, like your armpits and... you know…

other regions, whereas apocrine glands, tend to be everywhere else.

Eccrine glands produce a thicker, waxier sweat (similar to what creates earwax in your ears)

and when you mix that with the bacteria that chills in your pits (which is different from

the bacteria elsewhere on your body as well), let's just say, long story short, it's a bad

mix.

So, when you're not showering that bacteria has more room to grow, more sweat (wet or

dry) to mix with and just more dead skin cells to munch on.

That's a terrible combination and would most likely lead to all sorts of skin problems.

Hope you're not too grossed out yet to hit that subscribe button and click that bell

to join our notification squad.

You'd Most Likely End up with Brown Clumps on your Skin

As the first entry in this video showed, one of the most important aspects of bathing is

that it removes dead skin cells, bacteria, and dried sweat and/or oil from the body.

When that combination of skin by-products is left to fester, it creates all sorts of

problems one of which is that it becomes a magnet for dirt and grime.

This combination would also either cause the skin to become dry or oily, depending on the

person, as the skins natural cycle would essentially be broken as the dead skin isn't removed by

soap and water.

That means that the skin can be infected with fungus and yeast on top of the bacteria we've

already discussed, which can actually lead to clusters of warts.

Beyond that, the areas of the body where oil gathers most, like your armpits, behind your

ears, or under your breasts if you're a woman (or robust man), would have a high risk for

basically turning brown as dirt and pollutants continually mixed with the bodies natural

oils and sweat.

Basically, you'd turn into a toad person, only you would most likely give some warts

if they touched you unlike the urban legend about gaining warts from toads.

If You Got a Cut, You'd Be in Trouble

There's a reason that so many people died from infections before antibiotics including

antibiotic soap, and other things like astringents were discovered, and that's because bacteria

is everywhere even if you bathe multiple times a day.

That's why children are always taught to clean their cuts and scrapes, as you can pick up

bacteria or even viruses in the simplest of cuts and abrasions.

Multiply that risk hundred or thousand-fold if you've not been showering, as your body

would be a walking petri dish that was almost aggressively and exponentially increasing

the amount of bacteria that grew on your skin.

Don't just take it from us, a member of the American Association of Dermatology said:

"While infection may not be a concern, in the beginning, carrying a large load of bacteria

on the skin can pose a problem if the skin barrier were to become compromised in some

way, i.e. through a cut or scrape".

Youch.

Your Scalp Would Drive You CRAZY

As we've seen, the longer you go without showering the more things like oils would accumulate

on your body.

One of the places where they'd really both accumulate and cause problems would be on

your scalp.

Beyond that, showering and using shampoo help remove dead skin (and hair) from your scalp,

meaning that if you stopped showering and shampooing you'd be creating a perfect store

of oil and dead skin on your scalp.

That means that your scalp would not only itch, but begin to burn as well.

Beyond that, your hair would begin to become matted together, creating involuntary dreadlocks

that'd smell terrible and would most likely break off after a while as your scalps ecosystem

goes haywire and becomes dry in some areas.

If you learn nothing else from this video, just remember that your body is basically

an ecosystem and bathing is an important part of the process that keeps things on an even

keel.

While we're the only animals that have to jump in the water to bathe (which is a lot

better than the alternative of using our tongues), it's clearly part of how we evolved and is

something that everyone should do regularly in order to keep their exterior healthy.

That Having Been Said…

We understand that this topic may make you want to run to the nearest bathroom and start

the faucet, we really do, but at the same time there are always two ends to a spectrum

and while bathing is clearly an important part of skin, hair (and nose) health, it's

not something you want to overdo.

In fact, in terms of health, you needn't shower every single day.

Americans, or at least American men, tend to shower every single day with many showering

more than once a day and that really doesn't have any positive effect in terms of skin

and hair health when compared to people who shower every two, three or four days.

Showering daily is thought to be for aesthetics only, and really the only reason you should

bath often is if you have a compromised immune system, as you want to remove as much bacteria

from the skin in that situation as possible.

So, as long as you're not someone who sweats profusely or that has really oily hair, there's

really no reason to start or end your day with a shower or bath.

That is, of course, unless you use that time to prepare for the day or to unwind, which

adds another level to bathing that, frankly, we don't have the time to get into here (we're

too busy showering 15 times a day).

You Would Time Travel

Depending on how your skin works, regardless of your age, you'd most likely start breaking

out in acne on your face and other parts of your body where sweat accumulates.

Your body creates something called sebum, which builds up mostly on your face and clogs

pores and inflames hair follicles.

That means that you'd basically be living that recurring nightmare where the acne that

you had during Middle School returned.

So, you'd basically be traveling back in time, at least in one respect, but this time things

could get a lot worse as if or when your pimples are popped or break open you'd be at a really

high risk of developing a secondary infection.

That's what happens when people who are bed-ridden end up with bed sores, as their bodies basically

accumulate sweat at the pressure points where their bodies touch the bed.

They develop sores that fester and get so bad that they can become life-threatening

and because you're not washing your body those zits would basically just get worse and worse

until you died from them.

At least you'd go out doing what you love... sticking it to the soap companies I guess.

Then There's your Nether-Regions

Ever hear of Intertrigo?

Let's hope that you haven't, as it's just awful.

It's a type of inflammatory rash, or dermatitis, that occurs on the skin in areas that have

a large build up of sweat, urine and/or feces.

So, if you're not showering for a year, regardless of how good you wipe, you'd end up with a

yeast infection if you're lucky and a terrible case of Intertrigo if you're human.

While you can also develop Intertrigo between your fingers, toes and in your armpits, the

trifecta of disgustingness that creates the most terrible forms of Intertrigo obviously

occurs where the sun doesn't shine.

What's even worse is that most treatments for Intertrigo involve washing and drying

the area (before applying medication and then powder to keep the area dry), that's something

that wouldn't be possible if you weren't bathing, so you'd really be at risk of a terribly painful

infection that would just get worse and worse and worse.

Beyond that, even if you were lucky enough to dodge Intertrigo you'd just be horribly

uncomfortable all the time.

Toe Jam and You

You'd be doing a lot of toe touching if you stopped showering for a year as your toes

would be driving you absolutely insane.

There's a reason that people talk about "Toe Jam" and why those commercials exist where

a crappy CGI Monster is attacking some white guys toes, it's because there's a type of

fungus that loves to attack your toes and that is kept at bay by bathing with soap.

When you're not doing that, the fungus can grow unabated as would the dead skin between

the toes, creating crusty chunks of skin surrounded by fungus.

While that'd be horribly painful and itchy, what's worse is that that same fungus loves

to hang out in your groin as well (something that CGI monster never tells you), that means

that if your feet rub against your underwear while you're putting them on (which they most

likely will), you're most definitely going to end up with that same fungus going to town

on your nether-regions.

Talk about a case of the Mondays!

The Effects Would Linger

OK.

Let's say that you actually went an entire year without bathing for some reason.

Perhaps you were stranded on a landlocked mountaintop, maybe you, I don't know, gave

into an internet trend, either way, you'd think that you'd be fine if you just hopped

into the world's longest and most painful shower.

It turns out that that wouldn't be the case, as I'm sure you've surmised.

There are dermatologists who have experience with this sort of thing and they say that

in their patients that haven't washed a certain area of their body for months at a time that

it takes days or even weeks or months for that skin to return to a normal state.

When you add all of the possible diseases and fungal infections to the list (and warts,

to boot), there's a chance that you'd never return to normal (if normal is defined as

how you were before you decided to not shower for a year!).

With things like Intertrigo and Toe Jam in your junk going unabated for weeks to months,

there's a decent chance that you'd have some scarring and even loss of skin in some areas.

That's not to mention the final entry in this list video which is impossible to return from,

that is unless you're part of the Illuminati…

You Could Die

This entry is short and sweet as this entire video basically leads up to this point.

If you really couldn't wash yourself and that landlocked island was somewhere that didn't

get rain, there's a good chance that you'd develop a skin infection or multiple skin

infections that could just get worse and worse, which could lead to gangrene or sepsis, both

of which could kill you.

Beyond that, people contract things like MRSA and flesh-eating bacteria from open wounds

and so there's always the chance that you'd pick up one of those darlings when you're

walking around with open skin wounds all over your face, body and special places.

So the next time your roommate complains that you used all the hot water just let them know

that that shower time is a matter of life and death.

While this may sound hyperbolic, just go a week without a shower and test the theory,

you'll begin to notice the beginning of most things on this list, which means you'd be

playing Russian Roulette with not bathing, although it does mean that if someone calls

you out for having B.O. you can laugh it off knowing that you're just living the thug

life.

Just make sure your feet don't hit your underwear when you're not changing them.

Feeling like you need a good scrub after that?

Well use your lufa to swipe at that subscribe button and hit that notification bell.

And don't go anywhere, check out some of our other you know "less gross" videos.

It's important to know that your family each one of you in this room your family

needs to come before the clients and your colleagues first

now that might be bucking the status quo and I might get in trouble for saying

that but your family is your bedrock whoever you love whoever you care about

your mother your sister the people that depend on you

that's your bedrock that's your foundation that helps drive you to be

successful with other families because you know how they say on the airplane I

was just thinking about that today when they said make sure you put your oxygen

mask on before you help someone else you don't just look at your employees that

report to you and your technicians don't just look at them as though what they

can produce for you as a tech look at them as people and look at them as and

ask questions of them ask about their kids ask about their their family

because that's the stuff that will result in building a relationship you

know don't get too personal with them if they don't want to speak about it but

realize how important the family is as a first secondly rooting all your

decisions in behavioral science and I can tell you this the goal setting

self-monitoring feedback and pay for performance it can it's it can drive

everything that you do we'll get into the details you got to realize that

you're now in a situation and everyone probably in this room where you're where

you're moving from labor to leadership so the impact that you have on the

learners is directly proportionate to how great of a leader you can be it's

not about the number of hours that you can pound the pavement

it's about your efficacy as a leader so it's important to relate everything

back to behavioral science now the third big principle that and value at least

for our company that I've seen century it care about too is helping people find

their niche and their purpose because I don't know about you guys but you moving

from labor to leadership there's going to be really difficult times that you're

gonna face day to day and one of the ways that you can accomplish these big

tasks that you're faced with every single day are by reminding yourself of

why so I don't have that in the behave Raunak literature today I'm gonna let

you know what's based on behavior around literature

and what's based on 28 years of my experience and studying other successful

organizations I'll separate that out and I'll let you know but it's gonna be

important to know your why you do what we do because don't get too caught up

with the number of hours billed don't get too caught up with you know your

facebook posts don't get too caught up with things that are on and get caught

up with your why for why you're doing it because the most difficult times in your

life you're gonna find that you're gonna get through it by reminding yourself of

why you're doing it I think Nietzsche had a quote a nation philosopher he who

has a reason why can withstand any how so you can deal with anything if you

just keep going back to why

What Eating Chia Seeds Is Good For? 5 Chia Seeds Benefits - Duration: 3:02.

Anyone who sees a handful of chia seeds might not imagine that they were once used as currency.

For centuries they were fundamental for the survival of civilizations like the Aztecs

and Mayans.

They even used them to pay their taxes.

Nowadays we know that these small, dark, white, or gray seeds are a super food.

They're a great source of protein and contain all of the essential amino acids, proteins,

vitamins and minerals, as well as all soluble and insoluble fiber.

If you still haven't gotten into the habit of eating chia seeds, we're going to give

you five reasons that might change your mind:

They're a natural source of antioxidants Have you ever heard of free radicals?

They're unstable molecules released by our body that can be toxic in large quantities.

Antioxidants are responsible for fighting the free radicals that cause heart diseases,

several different types of cancer, and early aging.

Chia, since it's rich in natural antioxidants, actually neutralizes these molecules, helping

to keep our heart, skin, hair, and nails healthy.

They help you lose weight Chia seeds have become very popular throughout

the last couple of years due to their use in diets.

It actually works too, because the seeds can help you feel full for longer since they swell

up as soon as they touch water, filling up your stomach.

Furthermore, certain studies have shown that eating chia regularly can help fight love

handles and muffin tops.

They help control diabetes Chia seeds are great for anyone to suffers

from diabetes or anyone who wants to prevent this disease.

When they're consumed together with carbohydrates, they slow down the rate at which the carbohydrates

are absorbed.

This helps the sugar in our blood to be released slower so our pancreas can produce enough

insulin.

They help our teeth and bones Most people who eat chia regularly believe

that it can help you be more stronger and more resistant.

And although this is true, it's really more for our bones and teeth.

This is because chia seeds have such high amounts of calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc,

minerals that are very important for the health of our bones and teeth.

They are great for our heart Chia seeds are rich in fatty acids like omega-3,

making them great for our heart.

These fatty acids protect us against abnormal heart rhythms, reduce our blood pressure and

heart rate, and improve our vein health.

They can also decrease our triglycerides which are also harmful to our heart.

Since our body can't produce its own omega-3, it's easy to see how important chia seeds

can be for health.

What about you?

Do you eat chia regularly?

Andy Reid Downplays the Idea of Trading for Earl Thomas | Heavy.com - Duration: 4:16.

Andy Reid Downplays the Idea of Trading for Earl Thomas | Heavy.com

The Kanas City Chiefs aren't quite ready to make a deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

As Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas remains unhappy with his current contract situation, the team has been doing all they can to make the veteran safety satisfied.

Even if that includes entertaining trade offers to ship him off to another team.

It's not like the Seahawks are trying to get rid of Earl Thomas.

But his latest antics have made it very tough to keep him on board for the entire 2018 season.

So, as the Seahawks hosted the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday, there were rumors of a potential meeting going down involving trade discussions for Thomas.

The Cowboys aren't the only team inquiring about Thomas, though.

Just as the news came out that the Cowboys front office planned to discuss a potential deal with the Seahawks, the Kansas City Chiefs got thrown into the rumors as well.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen broke the news via Twitter on Sunday that the Chiefs have emerged as another potential trade partner to acquire Thomas.

While the Cowboys have been the only team that has been fully committed to making multiple offers for the safety, the idea of the Chiefs making a move for him make just as much sense, if not more.

Unfortunately, the Chiefs just aren't there yet, according to their head coach, Andy Reid.

"We're Just Not There Yet".

When Andy Reid was asked about the potential trade rumors, he wasn't hesitant to state that the Chiefs aren't ready to spend big on the superstar safety at this time.

Here's what he had to say on Monday, according to the Chiefs media.

"Right now we don't have anything and that's not where we're at," Reid told reporters Monday, via the Chiefs official website.

"I know the rumor is out there, but that's not where we're at.".

The Chiefs started the 2018 season on fire.

As they remain undefeated with all eyes on their second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes, others tend to forget that the team has struggled elsewhere.

In order to make a deep playoff run in the NFL, a team must be fully equipped with depth and weapons all around.

While the Chiefs are talented, they could use some extra muscle on the back end of their secondary.

Hence the reason why Thomas has become a potential target for the team.

The only issue is that Thomas is not going to come cheap.

The Cowboys final offer involved a second-round pick, which can be quite hefty considering that Thomas will have to be paid off with an expensive contract sooner than later.

The early round pick wasn't enough for the Seahawks to agree to a deal so the Chiefs might be a lot more hesitant in inquiring for the safety.

For the past decade hand modeling has been my full time job.

It really is funny work.

I'm Adele Uddo and I am a parts model.

Parts modeling is short for body parts modeling so I mainly do hands but I've done lips, legs,

I am generally known as a high-end hand -- Dior and Christian Louboutin.

Most parts models have a side gig.

There's just a handful of us, so to speak, that do it full time.

It's sort of a you know underground-ish subculture of modeling.

It's something that I sort of fell into.

I certainly didn't plan for a career in parts.

I had been told a few times, mainly by my grandmother, that I had nice hands

so I went on a casting once and ended up booking this big job, and thought,

you know, maybe my grandmother is onto something.

What they typically look for is like, the shape of the hand: Long fingers, thin wrists, great skin tone is crucial.

If you look good cropped, you've got a career.

I love parts modeling in that I can be, like, viewed by millions of people and still remain private

and anonymous.

For many years I felt almost ashamed to be a parts model and I think it was ultimately because

I was raised by this hippie feminist mother and her friends.

I felt like I was somehow betraying them by becoming this objectified body parts model.

There was this girly part of me that just wanted to express myself and wear lipstick

and somehow I felt guilty when I did that.

I really love what I do, and I'm grateful for what I've been able to do.

Sometimes I judge myself for not being deep enough, you know, I've wanted to contribute

more to society than nice nail beds.

I'm not too precious with my parts.

I have learned to take pride in my work and to take it more seriously than I used to.

But I also want to have a life and use my hands.

I garden, I hike, I swim, I dance.

I would say that when your body becomes sort of an object it's harder in some ways to inhabit it.

Because my body parts are literally under a microscope, a macro lens -- and everything

shows -- I think I scrutinize myself more than actually I have felt scrutinized by the industry.

I admit to obsessively moisturising.

Probably...

Five-ish to 15 times-ish

a day.

So every year I'm going through at least a gallon of lotion.

I created a lotion actually, Essentiel by Adele.

Sort of out of necessity because I had to keep my skin in shape for these macro close-up

photographs where it's literally down to the cuticle.

So I ultimately wanted, like, a premium face lotion I could afford to put all over my body.

I don't believe you need

a bazillion bottles in your bathroom, I believe it can be a lot more simple and more effective.

It's not that difficult. It ultimately comes down to ingredients.

I don't really consider myself a great cook but I can cook a good lotion.

I don't think you can really miss that there's sort of an inherent absurdity to what I do.

I'm always surprised at how natural the hands look when I'm hand doubling for someone because

it's such an unnatural process.

I'm, you know, underneath someone's arm pit like trying to gracefully put my hand on the side of their face.

Parts modelling is what I do, it's not really who I am.

It's part of who I am, and I've learned to appreciate it.

But yeah, I don't take it all so seriously.

Now I realize we can be many things, many parts

we can have even conflicting parts of ourselves; I can be superficial and deep, you know, it's not an either or.

2018 Omaha Go Red For Women Survivor: Sarah Weiss - Duration: 7:44.

(dramatic music)

(splashing water)

- From the day she was born, she had this innate

ability to care for other people and look out

for other people.

(rushing water)

- She's very perceptive of other people

and, you know, what would make other people have fun.

(rushing water)

(splashing water)

- She doesn't wanna just like sit around

and watch TV all day.

She'd rather go outside, ride her bike,

jump on the trampoline.

- She's loving and she helps people out

when people feel sad.

(dramatic music)

- I like helping people and I like

making people laugh and make them happy.

- We have three kids.

Sarah is our oldest daughter.

She's 12 years old.

She was born on Christmas Day,

so it was our first Christmas gift.

Sarah was active in summer swimming

and she loved dance, and was always dancing

and in dance classes, and she had taken up golf,

and really was just a really healthy, normal kid.

- We start the day just like we started any other.

We got up, we went to work, the kids went to swim practice.

You wouldn't have ever had a thought that,

you know, the day would go the way that it did.

- [Sarah] And I swam for about 15 minutes,

and then I started to get a really,

really bad headache, so I was like,

"I gotta get to the other end and tell my swim coach."

And by the time I was at the other end

of the pool, I couldn't feel my right side of my body.

- Out of nowhere, Sarah's swim coach just goes,

says it like pretty quickly, "Sarah's having a stroke."

And all you could hear was, like, weird words

that she was saying, so it was kinda like gibberish.

- I was in a meeting and got a phone call.

Our babysitter needed to talk to me,

that there was an emergency.

She said, "I don't know what's going on,

"but the lifeguard said Sarah's having a stroke."

And I was like, I mean, you know, how does that happen?

You could tell by the sound of her voice

that it was serious.

- The last thing you expect is somebody to say

that your kid's having a stroke.

She goes into this MRI, she's not talking to us.

We don't know what's going on.

- And then the neurologist came into the room

and said, "Sarah is having a stroke."

You know, I've heard the word stroke a lot

obviously in my life, like, I feel like I kind

of know what that means, but on the other hand,

like, have no idea what that means.

It's not a word that I would've thought

that I needed to understand.

So,

it was overwhelming.

(sniffling)

I just remember thinking, like, if she falls

asleep what if she never wakes back up?

The doctors at that point said, you know,

"Our number one goal would be able to get Sarah

"to talk to us again, and then, if she can talk

to us again, it'd be great if she could walk again."

Pretty heavy stuff to hear, you know, when you

just thought, like, gosh, four hours ago

I thought I had a perfectly healthy 12-year old girl.

Sarah's diagnosis ended up being, it's called

focal cerebral arteriopathy.

The arteries in her brain are pinched and tight,

and don't let the blood flow through like it should.

And they said that she was at a 50% chance

of having another stroke.

"A higher percentage than we had hoped," they would say.

Her first challenges were with speech,

so she really had lost a lot of her ability

to read and communicate.

Her stroke occurred in the area of her brain

that is communication, so the doctors

described it to us like, "Sarah had 12 years

"of information in filing cabinets,

"and someone went in and dumped 'em all out."

So all that information was still there

but she just couldn't find it to communicate with us.

So her first challenge was putting

those shelves back together and getting her

reading and communication skills back.

- Yeah, it wasn't easy.

- Okay, ready?

Jumping jacks.

(clapping)

Let's see if using.

- Yeah.

- Are they?

- She has continued weakness on her right side,

and at first we didn't know what to do with that.

She is, has been right, or was right-handed for 12 years.

We decided that just for her own well-being

let's try and make her a leftie, and see if she

could become left-handed.

- Wow, yeah. - That's good.

- [Kim] You take for granted like

picking up a coin, and she'll sit there

and do it, and it might take her 10 minutes

to pick up one penny.

- You know, there was a period where you're like,

"I don't know if she's ever gonna even want

"to get back in a pool," but she just does.

- Having such a high chance of recurrence,

you want her to go to school and be with her

friends and not have to worry all the time

about, well, you have to stay with me

'cause, you know, what if you have another

stroke and I'm the only one who knows what to do

if you would have another stroke.

The American Heart and Stroke Association

was really helpful.

They have their FAST campaign that's easy

for everyone to understand.

- Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty,

Time to call 911.

- It's important to us that people really

know that, and she can go out and we can feel

comfortable that there's enough people out there

wherever she is that they understand a stroke

and know what to look for.

- I thought I was really healthy and I thought

that I would never have to worry about something like that.

It could happen to anybody, so, like,

I feel like pretty much everybody should know

how to spot one.

- What I've learned is any day something

can happen, and you just don't know.

- I think that you get up everyday and you let

the business of life, and you let things,

you know, cloud your perspective about what's important.

We've been given more time with her.

As time goes by, the chance of recurrence goes down.

Let's just take the blessing that we got

and make sure that we have fun in the moment.

- I've learned never take anything for granted

because once it's taken away,

then you,

like, realize how hard it is.

- Sarah's bravery this year has really been

something that I have admired.

She's doing great thanks to a lot of her own hard work.

- I really wanna work in a hospital and be like

a nurse or a speech therapist, so I want

to do that with my more time, and I also just

want to enjoy life, like, play with friends

and go to the pool and do stuff like that.

Raiders' Jon Gruden Blames Khalil Mack Trade for Winless Start | Heavy.com - Duration: 3:26.

Raiders' Jon Gruden Blames Khalil Mack Trade for Winless Start | Heavy.com

Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden made a head-scratching comment on Khalil Mack.

It seems that each time Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden talks about Khalil Mack in any form or fashion, it just makes things worse.

The proof of that again came on Monday, when Gruden answered a question from reporters.

Without being pointed directly at the Mack deal, Oakland's coach still brought it up.

The Raiders are 0-3 currently and have blown fourth-quarter leads in each of the past two games.

Their struggles in the final frame have been well-documented, and it's hard to argue that the Mack trade has anything to do with that specific topic.

Gruden's Previous Comments on Mack, Raiders.

This isn't the first time we've heard Gruden sound off on the Mack trade, and in some capacity, it seems as though he's throwing the front office under the bus a bit.

After the trade happened originally and it came to light the Raiders had sent a second-round pick to the Chicago Bears, the coach was quick to point out that it wasn't his call, as ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed.

Gruden also previously stated that Mack "obviously" didn't want to play for the Raiders during an interview with ESPN.

There seems to be some sort of disconnect between Gruden and the front office, including general manager Reggie McKenzie potentially.

Ahead of the Week 3 loss to the Miami Dolphins, NFL.

com's Ian Rapoport revealed there was a "divide" in the organization.

But the manner in which he evaluates personnel — and the people who have his ear — has led to a disconnect in a Raiders building filled with people still trying to adjust to a new way of life.

According to sources, Gruden essentially has his own staff that helps him judge talent and make decisions — most notably confidant and Director of Football Research Dave Razzano — along with a slew of interns and assistants.

Gruden had his own draft board and has his own pro board, separate from those used by others in the organization.

Following the game, the Raiders coach addressed the media and made an eye-opening comment about "stories behind the scenes," per The Athletic's John Middlekauff.

It's tough to gauge exactly what's going on in Oakland currently, but there seems to be some issue the public doesn't know about.

Live Jaguar project for business students - Duration: 1:45.

It's the first day of our marketing module on the course so I think we're

going to be looking at the car and looking at new market opportunities for it so

it's cool to see the real car here and get a bit of a feel for the project.

This is a real life scenario, electric cars are obviously a growing market. It's

an exciting thing to be working on and it's real life, we'll be able to watch

the development after we've done our projects. We're looking at the potential

market demand for electric vehicles in the UK. It's fantastic to have it here, it's a

lovely vehicle and obviously Jaguar is one of the the forefront of the automotive

industry in the UK. The students are studying marketing management and as

part of the course they have to undertake a case study in developing a

particular marketing plan and the idea of collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover and

looking at the market for electric cars and also in particular the Jaguar IPACE

is to give it some context so the students can look at a new market and a

new vehicle and look at some new sectors that maybe Jaguar hasn't even thought of

themselves as potential lucrative marketing sectors for them. The benefits

for the student are that this does add context, it adds reality, it's

contemporary, it's current and they usually get a huge thrill out of working

with a collaborating company and learning through that experience and

also being able to demonstrate to their own employers and future employers what

work they have done whilst here at the University.
