Both Eminem and Yahoo Finance Embrace Bitcoin in Wins for Crypto Adoption | Hodler's Digest - Duration: 7:20.

Like fiddy's front tooth the crypto market was mostly green this week, Bitcoin went above

$7k for the first time in 20 days, despite all the FUD coming from China and the rejection of 9 Bitcoin ETFs

The good news is that the kids, who no longer like 50 cent but this guy, are much more likely

to HODL than the general population.

A survey carried out by Coinbase shows that 18% of U.S students respondents either are

currently hodling or used to-- that's two times more than the average american surveyed.

17% of students surveyed said they were crypto-literate, while only 9% of the general population said

they knew anything about crypto or blockchain.

This survey is particularly hopeful as it shows that while the older generation may

believe the FUD, the younger one will be Bitcoin believers

The bad news,

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said recently that mass adoption would take some time, also

this guy.

This week, Yahoo Finance supports crypto, the wolf of FUDstreet, Joseph Lubin doubts

Tether price manipulation, and North Korea is getting into Blockchain.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's your weekly HODlers' Digest

We're filming here in San Francisco right next to the Palace of the Fine Arts

Who-hoo!

Yahoo finance users and HODLers have a reason to celebrate, but might be advised not use

their email account.

You can now buy and sell Crypto on Yahoo Finance (only on the IOS app for now).

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin are now integrated on its platform.

And, Statistics are available for other cryptos, like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, and EOS,

but they currently do not have buy and sell options.

This development has been welcomed enthusiastically:

In April this year, Yahoo Japan confirmed plans to buy 40% of BitARG Exchange Tokyo

and send executives to set up the exchange, set to launch in 2019.

But be careful out there guys, it was recently reported that Yahoo has been scanning people's

emails for data to sell to advertisers-- but if you still have a Yahoo mail account in

2018 surely it's Youhoo that is to blame, no?

Former fraudster, money launderer and penny stock trader Jordan Belfort thinks there are

a lot of scams around Bitcoin, and doesn't think the SEC will get involved with Bitcoin

"The central banks don't want it, they've worked so hard to stop money Laundering, there

is just no way."

World governments don't want it either.

In terms of regulatory problems, Belfort believes we've only seen the tip of the Iceberg.

He highlighted Tether as a particular problem, but he doesn't believe Bitcoin itself is

a scam

According to the Wolf, 95% are legit, but it's the 5% that are criminals that will

take the whole thing down.

The Wolf of Wallstreet 2: welcome to FUDstreet,

Coming soon to theaters near you.

Be sure to subscribe to one of our favorite crypto YouTube channels

Hackdroid Crypto!

Similar to Cointelegraph, their channel covers blockchain startup reviews, token project overviews, mining,

and crypto news!

Ethereum co-founder and all around crypto wizard, Joseph Lubin doubts manipulation accusations

against Tether, a rare voice of dissent, it must be said, in an industry that appears

to believe the worst of the stablecoin.

After the publication of a study by the University of Texas in June, Tether fell under suspicion

for Bitcoin price manipulation in 2017.

The paper claims "purchases with Tether are timed following

market downturns and result in sizable increases in Bitcoin prices."

But Lubin is unconvinced of manipulation accusations against the token.

He said that "based on our analysis, we do believe that [Tether] are backed 1:1 by

U.S. dollars in bank accounts" Although he added that it is "still not

100% solid in terms of a story, from my perspective."

In June, a law firm did an unofficial audit of Tether's accounts where it was discovered

that Tether could back each token 1:1 with U.S. dollars.

But the firm noted that it is, "not an accounting firm and did not perform the above review

and confirmations using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles."

Is Lubin right about Tether?

Or do you believe the accusations regarding price manipulation?

Let us know in the comments.

Mt. Gox is not an actual mountain, and yet for those burned by the hack, it certainly

felt like they climbed one attempting to recoup their investments.

Well, now it seems they might have reached the summit.

Mt Gox can now file rehabilitation claims, so it is likely most of the 24,000 victims

will eventually get their funds back and even see returns on their 4 year long forced/unintentional

hodl.

It is all thanks to a group of Mt. Gox creditors who successfully mounted an effort to pull

the exchange out of bankruptcy proceedings and into civil rehabilitation.

While some of the defrauded customers can still keep pressing for criminal charges against

former CEO Mark Karpeles, the bankruptcy estate funds are now managed by an independent trustee,

who will oversee the civil reimbursement process.

Now to the strangest nation on god's green earth: North Korea!

According to a report from South Korea's state-run , North Korea has attempted to mine

Bitcoin.

According to a local news outlet, the mining attempt – which was reportedly conducted

on a "on a small scale" between May and July 2017 – seems to have been unsuccessful.

KDB's research team also reported that North Korean tech firm Chosun Expo is allegedly

now in the process of developing a BTC crypto exchange, without any further details provided.

There were also reports this week that North Korea plans to host an international 2 day

conference on blockchain and crypto in Pyongyang this October.

Apparently, it will bring together experts from around the world and North Korean business

officials, you know the guys who run all those great businesses in perhaps the most heavily

sanctioned sovereign state in the universe.

Well, Kim, we have our Blockshow in Singapore coming up in November, so October might be

a little busy for us.

Our prediction for keynote speaker in Pyongyang: John Mcafee, the man who just doesn't give

a (beep).

Like if you think the children are

the future. Like subscribe and HODL if you think that

they should have a better taste in rappers, like Eminem; who actually referenced

Bitcoin on his latest album: Kamikaze, with the lyrics: "Remember everybody used to bite

Nickel, now everybody doing bitcoin."

Author Says Mike Pence Waiting For God To Remove Trump So He Can Rule - Duration: 5:02.

This week, CNN aired an interview with Trump biographer, Michael d'Antonio, who actually

has a new book coming out about Mike Pence ... One of the first books about the man,

a guy we really don't know too much about.

But d'Antonio says that he understands Mike Pence, and that he knows what truly motivates

this guy, and why he's able, more importantly, to justify his Christian beliefs while working

for one of the most inept and corrupt presidents of our lifetimes.

So take a look at this clip where d'Antonio explains how Pence justifies his phony Christianity

based against Trump's morals.

Here it is.

There's a quote here I want to read to you.

"The Vice President actually believed he could bring Trump to Jesus, and like Jesus, he was

willing to do whatever was necessary to help save Trump's soul."

That's true.

Within the faith that Mike Pence subscribes to, there's this idea that anything is permissible

in pursuit of a higher goal.

So the higher goal would be bringing Donald Trump to Christ.

Anything that goes on in order to do that, including Mike Pence abandoning many of his

principles.

He was always against religious tests for entry to the United States until President

Trump said we're going to do it.

It's not in Mike Pence's heart to put kids in cages, and separate from their families,

but Trump did it, so Pence is for it.

You can go down the list.

Roy Moore.

There are so many things that he hasn't spoken up on.

The President's own personal family.

Yes.

To imagine Mike Pence with this grabber guy as his running mate, running for president,

is almost mind-boggling.

And yet he keeps his mouth shut.

You look at him standing behind the President at various events.

Expressionless doesn't really capture it.

You can't tell what he thinks ever.

Now, for hardcore believers in Christianity, that is actually true.

That is something that is a part of the doctrine.

If you're trying to save somebody's soul, allegedly, whatever you do in that pursuit

is okay, even if it goes against your own morals, and so that's how Mike Pence tries

to say, "Well, yeah.

This guy has affairs.

He's corrupt.

He's done a lot of things that are probably illegal, but because I'm trying to save his

soul, it's okay for me to stand by him, and defend him."

But that was just a small part of it.

That was part of the interview they talked about.

The bigger part is the fact that d'Antonio mentions that Mike Pence is actually hoping

and thinking that God is somehow going to remove Donald Trump from office so that Mike

Pence will become president.

Mike Pence believes it is his divine right to eventually become the President of the

United States.

He believed back in high school, according to this new book by d'Antonio, that God had

chosen him to be President of the United States.

And now that he is Vice President, he knows ... He believes firmly that all of this corruption

is sent from God to remove Trump to make Mike Pence the president.

Now, I know we've talked a lot about impeachment, and I have said plenty of times that Pence

would be 99.9% just as bad as Donald Trump, but hearing this is actually pretty scary.

I still think I would prefer a President Pence over a President Trump, but there's only one

reason for that at this point.

Obviously, we would see no change in policy whatsoever, and in fact, with Pence, we might

see even more ... Might!

We would see even more anti-LGBTQ legislation.

We would see more anti-women legislation.

We would see more anti-minority legislation.

Holy wars, potentially, overseas against other religions.

Yeah, it would be really, really, really bad.

But Pence is beatable.

If Pence were the nominee in 2020, he is beatable.

He is beatable by damn near any Democrat out there.

Trump isn't.

Trump is a very tough candidate to beat because he is so crazy, and because you don't know

what he's going to do, or what he's going to say.

And the fact that people in this country for some reason seem to believe everything he

says.

Hard to beat a guy who can make up something on the spot and everybody just believes it's

true, and that you're the liar now.

Mike Pence can't do that.

Mike Pence has no charisma.

Mike Pence would be defeated handily in 2020.

Trump wouldn't, and that is why I still, even knowing this scary information about Pence,

I would prefer him as our temporary president than having Donald Trump as our president

for another six-and-a-half years.

How To Wash And Care For Your Synthetic Wigs To Help Them Keep Their Beauty - Duration: 5:45.

Hi ladies it's Lee at Woman In Disguise

and today we are going to talk about how

we care for our synthetic wigs and it's

just some real basics first, because one

of the questions I get asked a lot is

how often should I wash it, and so the

rule of you know rules that we apply to

our own hair we can apply to the wig. So

first of all, we don't want to wash it

after every wear. We want to think about

when it looks and feels like it needs to

be washed versus saying, "hey I wore it

I'm gonna wash it". Because washing just

like washing our own hair can help dry

it out and reduce the beautiful look of

the hair and also longevity of the hair.

So my rule of thumb is that I tend to

think about washing it every five to six

wears with the caveat depending on what

activities I did with my hair. So if I'm

wearing her too out for you know a few

hours to go to business meetings it's

primarily internal settings, maybe the

wine night, happy hour with the girls, I'm

going every five to six wears. I might

change that up if I use some of my wig

specific hairspray. It might need it more

often. Now if I wear her out dancing and

I'm up, out there, and I'm starting to

sweat a little, and really you know

really become active in the week I will

probably choose to wash her, and get her

her cleaned up right away, but again kind

of use that rule of thumb, but like with

your own hair, go with look and feel. The

second thing is you want to use products

that are specifically designed for your

synthetic wig like the beautiful shampoo

and conditioner that we offer through

Woman In Disguise. It's just really

important that you make sure that you're

not using the wrong product that can

actually strip strip the fibers, make

them not look as nice, take away some of

the nice flow of the hair, and so have to

use products that are designed

specifically for your wig. So once those

are out, it's easy sailing. You're

gonna

wish that every part of your beauty

routine was as simple as it is caring

for your synthetic wig. So I'm gonna take

her off, and we'll go in and we'll put

her through the steps of how you wash

her. First what you want to do is, and

I just use my bathroom sink, fill my sink

with lukewarm water. Don't use hot water,

and then I'm gonna add just a few drops

of shampoo and again this product lasts

such a long time, and our shampoo

smells so good. It's just such a nice

easy way to clean her, you put that

shampoo in, we're gonna swish that water

around a little bit, and then let's just

place her in there and you'll notice

what I'm doing is I'm just moving her

around a little bit getting her fully

wet and allowing that soap to do its job.

What I don't need to do is rub her, start

to rub the hair around, what I do is kind

of have a hands-off approach now and let

her soak for about two to three minutes.

Once you're done letting her soak and

just enjoy this nice lukewarm bath we'll

rinse her with lukewarm water, and then

we're gonna repeat those same steps

filling up the sink but we're gonna add

conditioner this time and allow her to

soak and be conditioned for that two to

three minutes. Now once we're done

waiting for that conditioner time again

we take the lukewarm water and we do a

nice easy rinse of her, and then you can

see I have my towel set up and I just

like to use a regular bath towel where I

can actually set her in there and I'm

just gonna fold the towel over and do a

nice firm press. Really important here is

that we don't want to do anything that

rub the fibers together because again

that's what makes it look frizzy and it

reduces wear of the wig because that's

hard on the fiber, so we're just pressing

down. And now once I pressed it

down, I've kind of got out, worked the excess

water out, I'm gonna set her on her wig

stand, and another rule of thumb don't

use your mannequin heads to actually dry

your wig. Two main reasons. First of all a

wig stand allows air to flow through so

it's much faster drying, and second a

wig stand is not going to have the same

effect as a mannequin head in terms of

having the wig shape, or you know and

kind of adopt the shape of the mannequin

head especially when it's wet. So you

want to use an actual wig stand. I

usually set it on a towel because you

will still have some dripping happening

during that drying process. So once you

put her on her wig stand what you want

to do is use your fingers when your wig

is wet, please don't use combs, brushes,

anything, just use your fingers again it

really preserves the health and life of

the fiber of the hair and you do some

shaping and styling and you let her dry.

Now here we are she's all dry she's

ready to go. I do a little shake just to

kind of shake it out and then you can

put her back on and start the styling,

and there you go it's that easy to wash

and care for your synthetic wig. So I

hope you found this helpful, please

send in ideas questions you have, we'd

love to answer all of them, thank you.
