RACE IS ON Norwich and Sheff Utd keep up promotion charges as they thump Bolton and Reading - Duration: 4:41.

NORWICH CITY returned to winning ways and got their Championship title hopes back on track with a thumping win at Bolton

The Canaries needed just eight minutes to get off the mark against the relegation-threatened Trotters courtesy of top scorer Teemu Pukki

The goalscorer returned the favour to the man who assisted him as Marco Stiepermann latched on to his throughball to double the advantage quarter of an hour later

Moments later it was three as Emiliano Buendia finished after being teed-up by Remi Matthews

The goal blitz continued after the break as Pukki grabbed his second to keep Norwich flying high in top spot with his 23rd of the season

Hot on their heels are Sheffield United, who got off to a fast start themselves against Reading as they also notched up a 4-0 victory

Just 38 seconds were on the clock when Kieron Freeman broke the deadlock at Brammall Lane

A mix-up in the Royals defence was then pounced on by Gary Madine to make it two on 15 minutes before the on-loan Cardiff man made it three on the stroke of half time

WHAT A HARV-UP Championship clubs want EFL chief Harvey out as anger grows over £595million Sky TV deal  And things continued to get worse for the visitors following the restart as when John Fleck made it four

Those results mean Norwich end the day two points ahead of second-placed Sheffield United, who are above Leeds on goal difference, although the Yorkshiremen have a game in hand

Aston Villa's chances of mounting a late charge for a top six spot were severely dented with a derby defeat at home to West Brom

The Baggies are just four points behind Sheff Utd and Leeds after Hal Robson-Kanu and Jay Rodriguez sealed local bragging rights in a 2-0 triumph

Bottom club Ipswich looked dead and buried but grabbed a point in stoppage time thanks to Will Keane against Stoke, who had led 1-0 through James McClean

Rotherham's survival hopes were hit hard when Sheffield Wednesday's Dominic Iorfa struck an equaliser in the tenth minute of injury, with Fernando Forestieri then sent-off for jumping in to the crowd to celebrate

The Millers fell behind to the Owls striker's first half opener but instantly drew level through Jon Taylor

Richie Towell then looked to have secured them three vital points before the late drama kept them trapped in the relegation zone due to a worse goal difference than difference

Meanwhile Preston and Nottingham Forest's play-off hopes were both dented as the duo fought-out a goalless draw

Man Utd news: United star reveals what Solskjaer is REALLY like - he's got a 'nasty side' - Duration: 3:29.

Interim Manchester United manager Solskjaer is on the verge of getting the job full-time after leading the club to 10 wins in his first 12 games in charge

The Norwegian's positive approach has come in for praise after their struggles under former boss Jose Mourinho

And Smalling says he has been a pleasure to work for as he lifted the lid on what life is like under the former Red Devils striker

"I think he has got that sort of nasty side," he told the club's official website

"I think every manager has that, the so-called hairdryer treatment when things need a little turnaround

"A manager has to have all different sides covered. He's a joy to play under and he's great

" United are preparing to go to Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday night and Smalling, who won the trophy as a United player in 2016, says they are desperate to win it again

They have not won at Stamford Bridge since a thrilling 3-2 victory back in October 2012 in a game that saw Branislav Ivanovic and Fernando Torres sent off for the hosts

"This year, we're making sure we get a trophy and, on Monday, we'll be going all for it," Smalling added

"The record at Chelsea, you're right, we've not had too many good results there but I thought, earlier in the season, we were so close to winning until the last dying seconds

"In general, we played quite well there, so let's kick on and improve on that performance

"The fact it's Monday night as well means it's got the whole world watching. "They'll be looking to improve on last weekend's result [a 6-0 defeat by Manchester City], as we will [after their 20 loss to Paris Saint-Germain], so it's a big game all around

" United go into the game weight a depleted squad as both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are ruled out because of injury

Solskjaer has urged Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to step up in their absence and revealed he might call on youngsters Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes and Tahith Chiong who have been trying with the first team in the build-up to the clash

On Lingard and Martial, he said: "I think they will be out for two to three weeks

"Then you're looking at it being Mason Greenwood's time to step in and he's out for a couple of weeks

That's the way sometimes the luck goes. "Anthony and Jesse have done really well for us with their attributes and pace

"Now it's a chance for anyone who plays. Romelu and Alexis can show what they can do

" "We've got other forward options but Angel and Chongy been training with us all week so there's a big chance they will be involved

"

When it comes to building an error-proof wardrobe of everyday essentials, we can't help but recommend that shoppers err on side of basic Any fashion lover will agree that a strong closet is filled with a handful of options that can be styled five days in a row, but five different ways Sure they're called basic, but let's be blunt, they're anything but Who said basic had to be boring? Not Us!  We've found the most versatile staple for work, play and everything in between: a button-up shirt    The Solid City Shirt by is an effortlessly chic button-up and the intersection where professional polish meets silky-smooth Shoppers can expect the city shirt to be the ultimate wear to work staple that is simple yet sophisticated from 9-5 but just as clean and cool for after work Now let's be honest, how many shirts can do all of that, all at once? Not many  The reason this city shirt is so endlessly chic and versatile? The design that pays homage to classic tailoring The city shirt is detailed with a point collar and button front It instantly makes us think of our father's tried-but-true work shirts The long convertible sleeves include roll-tabs, button cuffs, as well as a flap chest pocket So simple, yet sophisticated!  We can't help but already love all this shirt has to offer, but above all, we can't help but love the fact it is semi-sheer It truly just continues to pull back its layers and layers of endless versatility It not only checks all of the boxes in terms of the traditional button-up but goes above and beyond with this added extra  The ever-so-sheer fabric adds a feminine and delicate detail, which differentiates itself from the other traditional shirts  Instead, the sheer material gives a light airy look for all of the different color options available It's just enough, without being too much    The only thing we love more than how endlessly chic the city shirt is? The four shades which include Midnight Rust (a dark rustic red shade), Misty Lilac (a bright lilac-purple hue), Pitch Black and Soft Ivory (a subtle off-white/beige shade) These options make styling the city shirt as easy breezy as this is to wear  We can't help but automatically be drawn to the anything but basic black shade for obvious reasons Shoppers looking to loosen their buttons (no pun intended) will absolutely love styling this piece Automatically we can't help but state the obvious of how fabulous this would be paired with a leather miniskirt and thigh-high boots for an edgy look!  Not so daring? No problem! Shoppers looking for a more conventional or conservative approach with the city shirt can gravitate toward the misty lilac and/or soft ivory hue Either shade will pair perfectly with a pair of medium-to-dark wash denim and a pair of heeled booties For colder weather, we can't help but recommend pairing a cozy cardigan or a tailored jacket! Not feeling the denim? Feel free to pair the city shirt with a pair of leggings and a low-heel mule Perfect for the everyday commuter!  Lastly, for those shoppers looking for a more cozy option that doesn't sacrifice style, we can't help but think of how magnificent the Midnight Rust shade would look tucked into some high-waisted, cutoff denim shorts It is the perfect option for fall, spring or even summer months! Depending on the weather outside, we can't help but recommend adding either a bootie or strappy sandal For an edgier look? Pair with a leather jacket and a thick buckle belt Looking to make it more subtle and sweet? Opt for a floor-length duster cardigan Amazing!  We're not the only ones in love with this shirt either Nearly 100 reviewers cannot (and will not!) stop raving just how fabulous this shirt is Many reviewers are in agreement it is the perfect transitional piece to go from work to dinner in Others cannot stop complimenting how comfortable and chic it is with many noting how it is by far the sleekest button-up they've ever purchased  We just can't help but love how much they love the city shirt!

Kady McDermott is 'dropped by ANOTHER clothing brand' - Duration: 8:44.

Kady McDermott is 'dropped by ANOTHER clothing brand' after calling Maria Fowler's daughter, two, 'vile'

A source close to the brand told the publication that, 'Gym King did not support or condone the activities that are being currently published.

The insider added that 'all association with Kady would be removed with immediate effect. ' MailOnline have contacted Gym King and Kady McDermott's reps for comment.

The report comes as bosses at Missy Empire took to Instagram hours after her spat with Maria to announce that the 23-year-old, who locked horns with the glamour model over their respective interior design pages, had been dropped.

The following day Kady took to Instagram to share a public apology in which she revealed she had faced horrific reaction from trolls, who had wished cancer on her, expressed wishes for her unborn child to die and urged her to commit suicide.

Kady and Maria first came to blows when the starlet launched her new page on Instagram which is designed to document the renovations she is undertaking with her beau as she described the page as: 'Renovating a bungalow into a 4 bed house'.

Maria has had her own page called Project In A Village, which many people pointed out is very similar to Our Village Home - leading to the row between the duo.

Kicking off the public argument, Maria, who shot to fame on the first series of the ITVBe show in 2010 before departing the following year, took to her Instagram stories to confirm she was aware of the existence of the page.

It seems Maria then privately approached Kady, as she messaged her on Instagram to settle things, during which she shared a back and forth which ended in a crescendo when Kady penned: 'Your daughter is vile'.

After the announcement, Kady responded the following day, writing: 'I'm only human and naturally I make mistakes on temporary based emotions and being in the public eye unfortunately every single one of my mistakes gets put out there to the world.

'Forever getting judged for every step I take/do in life takes its toll. I privately messaged Maria yesterday my apology but as it's everywhere I will do a public one too.

I am deeply sorry to Maria, her partner and of course gorgeous Evie. 'I did not mean what I said.

I was massively upset Maria's comments to me that made me feel SO upset beyond words and a degrade to my character I then wanted to hurt her where it hurt too so I reacted irrationally and badly.

I instantly regretted and deleted the comment straight away but sadly the damage was already done. I am reactive at times but I am not evil or a bad person.

I am 23, still have a lot to learn in life with how to control situations better.

'I forever learning and continuing to control stations better. I am forever learning and continuing to grow as a person and will not let my mistakes define me but just give me the space to grow into a better woman.

P.S. abuse my appearance personality of it makes you all better but please stop with the "go hang yourself" comments and "I hope you get cancer" and "I hope your future children die in your arms" comments..

Behind this Instagram profile I am a real human too with emotions and there's only so much I can take without it having long term effect on myself friends, boyfriend and family.

Maria then took to Instagram to reveal she had accepted Kady's apology as she penned: 'I have rang Kady this morning and she has apologised.

'I have seen the things that people are saying to her and despite the fact that her comment about Evie was totally wrong and initially I didn't want to contact her I felt like I needed to make sure she's not at harm.

'I've suggested she just keep her head down and lets this blow over. I don't want somethingstupid to happen to a young girl because of the Internet so if I can ask people tdsespite your frustrations to stop inboxing her now.

I appreciate all your support and nice messages over what happens. But as humans we have a moral duty to make sure each other are ok.'.

The previous day, Kady's representatives said in a statement: 'The comment was made in the heat of the moment after she was being verbally name called by Maria.

She deleted the comment within a second and as soon as she said it instantly regretted it and apologised to Maria.

'There is no excuse for that comment at all, she is deeply sorry and did not mean it. It was a comment in a second of anger.'.

Shortly after releasing her statement, Kady then shared a host of snaps from her past work at an animal sanctuary - seemingly shirking the comments. Despite Kady's words, Maria insisted she had not apologised and was sharing the images as a ploy.

She wrote: 'For the record Kady hasn't apologised as I won't accept an apology, no one calls my little girl vile and then gets to apologise and me to remove my posts via her agent.

'Posting "me me me" pics of animal charity work to distract from that fact that this morning you abused a 2 year old with vile language. So vain and transparent'.

Following her impassioned message, Maria then told MailOnline: It disappointing to see somebody who has openly spoken about trolling making derogatory comments about my two year old daughter.

'What happens between adults is one thing. I don't condone abuse against children in any form.'. Maria put on a furious display as she wrote on Instagram: 'When you truly have something worth living for, that's when life begins.

'There is no love like the love for your little one(s). Say what you like to me but don't come at my daughter or I will come at you she is the most innocent gentle little soul I have ever met.

'She has more decorum than half the people I've met off reality tv who's only focus in life is pouting and pretending they're rich and flashing fake designer bags about on IG. Its all an illusion.

(not all of you off tv btw)'.

Maria's partner and Evie's dad Kelvin Batey wrote: 'No matter how many followers Evie has in the future, how much money she has or if she's ever considered famous I'd be so ashamed if she ever called any child vile.

'Kady McDermott if your dad reads what you wrote about my daughter I'm sure he'd be ashamed of you. Your vile pea head'.

New video Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper power A Star Is Born update Los Angeles Times

New on Blu ray

A Star Is Born Warner Bros. DVD, dollar 28.98; Blu ray, dollar 35.99; 4K, dollar 44.95; also available on VOD

The venerable backstage showbiz melodrama A Star Is Born gets an unexpectedly sterling update, anchored by Lady Gaga. The Oscar nominated pop diva brings an earthy presence and a booming voice to the role of Ally, an overlooked amateur singer who gets a career boost from a roots rocker in decline. But the biggest revelation here is Bradley Cooper: astonishingly great as the substance abusing singer songwriter who discovers Ally, and equally amazing as the films co writer and director. Cooper makes strong choices on both sides of the camera, favoring grit and spontaneity over schmaltz. Though the pair are coming off a for best pop duo/group for the song Shallow, the Oscar heat around A Star Is Born cooled after the movie dominated the fall festival season; nevertheless, like the earlier takes on this story, this ones an era defining classic.

Special features: Featurettes, music videos and outtakes.

2019 Oscar Nominated Short Films available Tuesday

It used to be that the Academy Awards shorts categories were the hardest for the average movie buff to judge. But over the past few years the live action, animated and documentary short subjects have been made more widely available via packages that either screen at local art house cinemas or are streamable via various digital retailers. This years batch includes a mini doc about a 1939 New York Nazi rally and one about the people who help facilitate end of life decisions, as well as live action shorts about child murder and racism and on a much lighter note a cartoon about talking animals in a psychotherapy group, and one about a kid dreaming of becoming an astronaut. Watch them all this week to be the savviest competitor in your Oscar pool.

TV set of the week

Damages: The Complete Series Mill Creek DVD, dollar 79.98; Blu ray, dollar 99.99

The legal drama Damages was a minor sensation throughout its five season run, winning Emmys and giving actors like Ted Danson, Martin Short, John Goodman and William Hurt a chance to show different sides of their well known screen personas. The show hasnt been discussed as much since it went off the air in 2012 because theres always something newer and buzzier on TV. But thanks to Glenn Close and Rose Byrnes feisty lead performances and a complicated narrative structure Damages was one of the more ambitious cable series of its era, and one that deserves to be talked about more as one of the rare antihero driven crime stories primarily about women.

Special features: None.

From the archives

Backbeat Shout Select Blu ray, dollar 22.97

Stephen Dorff is currently making the most of one of his best roles in years as one of the leads in the third season of HBOs True Detective. That makes this a good time to look back at one of Dorffs breakthrough parts, playing the Beatles ill fated original bassist Stu Sutcliffe in the rock n roll biopic Backbeat. Ian Hart plays John Lennon, while Sheryl Lee is the bohemian photographer Astrid Kirchherr, who lured Sutcliffe away from music and toward the visual arts. The movies at once a look back at a legendary bands origins and a reminder that even rock gods were once just young men, trying to find themselves.

Special features: A commentary track, deleted scenes and featurettes.
