Waching daily Jun 27 2018

These are just nice bonuses.

We drink booze.

But not always.

But we really want to.

This is a job that requires knowledge in many areas,

meaning I need to be good at management, marketing, finance

and also understand the games the rosters play.

So there is no answer as to what you need to study or which university or college you should choose,

there's no place you could just go and become a CEO,

you just need to develop in many different directions

and try to understand all the details.

I wish.

Nope.

Unfortunately, I'm not.

- Who is then? - Someone further up the food chain.

I wish I was sometimes.

But actually my decision is just the result of a collaborative effort.

if I were to kick the players,

or whoever I wanted to kick,

then it would be very difficult for the team

to feel as a team in the first place,

a team is five or six people,

if there's a coach and seven, if there's an analyst,

and they need to decide it between them,

because they know all these details better,

and for me to be able to make decisions about kicking someone,

I'd have to be there with them during practice all the time and listen to everything,

which would take about 10 hours per day,

and I wouldn't be able to do anything else as there definitely wouldn't be enough time for all of that.

There are other ways.

But it's better when a person knows and understands and learns what he likes,

and in general here, in esports,

it's very important that a person be into what they are doing,

enthusiasm,

that they like it,

I think it's not only about esports but about everything in general,

because if someone doesn't like what they are doing,

they burn out sooner or later,

and both efficiency of this work

and their career progression

get worse and harder to achieve.

- How can one join our organization?

You can email me at kucherov.aleksey@hellraisers.pro

And then we'll see.

I rage sometimes,

they rage themselves too,

but I calm down and understand that I could've been wrong sometimes.

Let's not talk about it.

Well, actually, I used to have..

about half a year ago or more,

I played on FACEIT,

I had a seven or even an eight,

but it was like two-three games per week.

But now I simply have no time to game,

especially considering I'm also an analyst at Starladder, with petr1k.

and it all makes it very difficult to just make time to play, although I really want to.

You need to work on yourself a lot,

and I think it's not only about quantity but also quality,

you need to analyze your mistakes and think about all of that,

you shouldn't just play, you should think how to get better,

you should watch pro teams play to see what they do to be professionals and achieve good results.

And then maybe you'll make it to some organization,

or a team.

It's gradual progress, you know.

You can't just start playing and make it to HellRaisers right away,

you need to make it through many stages,

make a team, be the best on it,

then switch to a team that's even better,

and this is how you gradually progress.

No, there's no such thing,

we talk to each other when there are some global matters to discuss

or if there are some questions you need to check with a colleague,

but there's no some secret chat.

- How do reshuffles happen then?

- Do you just call and say "hello"?

Yeah, sometimes this is how it is.

"Hello, I want your player. How much will this be?"

Whenever possible.

The players practice for 10 hours per day,

I also work 10 hours per day,

and our schedules usually don't coincide.

So, there isn't much time to spend together,

but even considering that the schedule of tournaments is getting even more tight,

but whenever it's possible we spend some time together,

we try to maintain not only business relations but also friendly ones.

- How do you spend time together?

We drink booze.

Yeah.

But not always.

I think this сan help.

This can definitely help

because staff changes become more efficient,

and it gets easier to find a replacement,

this is really a good thing if you understand the games,

for example, if (theoretically) I need to find a team for League of Legends,

then it is harder for me to make a decision by myself,

I'll need to get opinions of 5-10 people who know this discipline much better than I do.

If it's about CS:GO though,

then in most cases I can make some good and efficient decisions,

and then talk to the coach and the IGL

and come to a general consensus.

So, it's much better if you understand it all.

Word on the Road: Episode 8 | What's your best advice for Rookies? - Duration: 2:36.

Get with someone that knows the business,

that has the experience in the business because anybody could drive a truck.

But being a truck driver is something totally different.

Real life.

- You name it, I've seen it. - I don't want to say what I want to say.

I won't mention their names.

Real stories.

- Oh, wow. - That's not good.

I don't know what the heck I was thinking.

Real truckers.

- You're scared outta your pants. - I don't know.

This is "Word on the Road," presented by Progressive Commercial.

In this episode, we're asking drivers...

Take advice from the old-- the old guys who've been here 30 and 40 years.

They will teach you stuff that the school won't teach you.

I would say...

follow the DOT rules.

And go off your own instinct.

Always watch your tandems.

Your mirrors are there for a reason. Use them.

You have to have that idea, that mind frame,

for you to be safe and successful out here on these streets.

Nothing comes easy. Nothing's simple out there.

Get a radio. Get a CB.

Everybody told me, "You don't need a CB anymore,"

but I bought one of them little $150 deals.

It has saved me...

In the time it saved me from sitting in traffic, it's paid itself off already.

Check your vehicle out every chance you get.

And just watch for young people,

people just not aware of what they're doing.

When you get started, it takes time, and you have to be patient.

The best thing when you're training, learn the map.

You learn that map, then you can't go wrong.

Keep going and keep pushing, and things'll smooth out as you go.

You learn as you go.

Well, I always tell most of the younger guys

that you can come out here and make money, it's easy,

that-- always get with a company that's gonna train you.

Get with somebody that knows the business, that you trust,

that will steer you the right way, especially purchasing your first truck.

I got my experience from an old timer. He showed me some tricks.

If you're afraid of driving mountains, drive it at night.

Because you won't see the drop off.

Get with a good company, and enjoy trucking.

Live for it, like I do, and it'll be just fine.

We'll see you on our next haul, truckers.

Budgeting For Beginners (BUDGETING 101) - Duration: 6:50.

Struggling with finances and being on a vicious cycle can be extremely stressful.

The main reason why this happens is because people don't budget.

But on this video, you'll learn how to budget successfully and start today.

Make sure you stay tuned till the end because I'm going to give you the most important thing

you need to know about budgeting.

For the best advice on side hustles, budgeting, and more, be sure to subscribe to my channel,

and hit the bell to be notified when I post a new video every Wednesday.

Not having the finances to do what you want can take a toll on you.

Trust me, I know.

But with these budgeting tips, I was able to pay off my car, pay off my credit cards,

and also save money to move cross-country.

Here are the five things you need to know about budgeting.

The first thing you need to know is what budgeting actually means.

Well, let me break it down to you nice and easy.

Budgeting is when you decide you want to spend less than what you make each month.

The benefits of budgeting is that you're way more organized.

This is especially awesome when tax season comes around.

You just basically have to submit your paperwork because you've already done the hard work

of listing everything for your tax attorney or tax person.

You also pay off your debt faster, and you can also invest in your future.

If you want to open up a business, invest in your education, or even start building

your retirement fund, you'll be able to do that with no stress.

This is something I wish I would have known as a kid because growing up, the budgeting

doesn't seem like the cool to learn how to do.

But, little do you know that it's going to basically affect you for the rest of your

life if you have bad habits with spending money and not saving it for emergencies, learning

how to build your credit, and things of that sort.

Which brings me to my next point.

Out of curiosity, did your parents teach you how to budget?

If so, just comment, "Yes" or, "No" below.

The second thing you need to know is why budgeting is important.

The reason why budgeting is so important is because it helps you take control of your

finances.

Let's face it, prices on everything, from food to housing, to college tuition, is rising

all the time, which leaves you with very little room to be careless with your money.

To get started, the first thing you have to do is write down your monthly income after

taxes, and also jot down your monthly expenses.

If you don't usually keep receipts, you can just go back to your bank statement, or you

can just write a rough estimate because it's just going to be for that first month.

Now, moving forward, you're going to be more aware of what you spend so you can always

adjust that later on.

You can use a notebook, Excel sheets, Google sheets, or a budget planner to do this.

The third thing you need to know about budgeting is how to break down your expenses.

I know that I had mentioned that you have to write your monthly expenses.

But when you do write them down, I suggest that you do it in this form because it's going

to be a lot easier for you every month.

I break down my expenses in two categories.

The first is fixed expenses.

This is rent, phone bill, anything that is going to be due on a consistent monthly basis.

The other category that I put them in is variable expenses.

Variable expenses are expenses where the amount usually changes every single month, so like

grocery shopping, gas, clothes shopping, going to the movies, restaurants.

It's going to sting just a little bit, but I promise it's going to worth your time, totally

your time.

Because now you're going to get to take control over your money.

How cool is that?

Sorry, I got a little too excited.

Now, it's your turn.

If you can please comment below and tell me, when did you realize you needed to start budgeting?

The fourth thing that you must know about budgeting is that you must monitor your spending.

Let me give you an example so that you can understand when you're overspending.

All right.

Let's say that your monthly income is $3500, but your expenses are $3000 a month.

That means you're not overspending.

You have an excess of $500 that you can either pay off your bills with or put in a savings

account, right?

If your monthly income is $3500 but your expenses are $4000, then that means you're overspending

by $500, and you need to take a look at your budget to either adjust it or cut a few things

off that you may not deem very necessary and you can live without.

Now that you've written down your monthly income, you've written down your expenses,

and now you know whether you're overspending or underspending, now it's time for you to

decide how much you want to save per month.

This is going to be something that's very important because it's going to decide your

monthly budget.

Let me give you an example.

For me, what I did was automatically deposit 30% of my paycheck into my savings account.

The reason why I did it so aggressively is because I had a timeframe and I knew that

I wanted to move to Los Angeles.

What did that mean for me?

No more partying, no more going to the movies, no more eating out at least for a while.

But it felt so good when I met my goal and I was able to move cross-country and not depend

on anyone financially to do so.

With that said, most people, what they do is they start with 5-10% and putting that

away in their savings account.

It really is up to you, like what your goals are, what your timeframe is.

Ready to hear the most important thing you need to know about budgeting?

The most important thing you need to know about budgeting is that you have to make a

budget every single month.

You cannot rely on doing it once and assuming that that's going to be your budget for the

rest of the year.

There are so many things that can happen along the way.

Maybe you are done paying a credit card bill and now you can adjust your budget to maybe

save up more money, or maybe you just want to buy something that you didn't have the

opportunity to do so because you were busy paying off that credit card first.

There are so many variables to it.

If you really want to succeed at budgeting, then you have to, have to, have to, I don't

know if I emphasize this enough, you have to make sure that you budget every single

month.

It's also going to make sure that you're set up to succeed and make sure that everything

is running smoothly.

I think that the first month is always the hardest because your guesstimating what your

expenses are since you didn't previously save your receipts and didn't really have a lot

of numbers to go by.

But, as you move along, it's going to be so much easier for you.

Just give yourself some time and check with yourself every once in a while, and really

think, "Do I really need to go out to this restaurant today?"

Now you know exactly why budgeting is important and how to get started.

If you also want to learn how to make more money fast so you can add to your savings

account, then go check out my last video, where I talk about easy side hustles.

If you like this video, please let me know by liking it below, subscribe, and share it

with your friends, and comment with the word, "Ready" if you are ready to take control of

your money.

Thanks again.

AC Milan: Italian giants banned from European football for one season - Duration: 4:46.

AC Milan: Italian giants banned from European football for one season

Italian giants AC Milan have been banned from European football for one year for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations. Milan had qualified for the group stages of this season's Europa League after finishing sixth in Serie A.

Uefa said the club, which spent £200m on transfers last summer after a takeover, breached rules around requirements for clubs to break even. The decision could be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Before the verdict, Milan released a video on Twitter saying they expected "fairness, rulings based on facts and equal rules for all" from Uefa.

The statement said the club are "ready to pay for the errors made in the past" and "have the utmost respect for the rules, but we expect equality". Why did Milan face sanctions?.

The Italian club was owned by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi from 1986 until it was sold to a Chinese consortium for 740m euros (£648m) in April 2017.

The club then went on a £200m spending spree in the summer, bringing in Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus for £35.1m and Andre Silva from FC Porto for £33.6m.

It was the first time since 2002 the club had broken the £30m barrier for a player.

Uefa referred the case to its adjudicatory body to make a ruling as it said there "remained uncertainties" following an investigation into the Serie A club's financial affairs.

The "uncertainties" were said to relate to the refinancing of a loan due to be paid back in October 2018.

Uefa's financial fair play rules were brought in to stop clubs running up huge debts, and they can be punished if they spend more money than they earn.

Sanctions for breaching the rules range from warnings and reprimands to points deductions and transfer embargoes. What did the club say?. Milan said the 2017 summer spending spree "renovated the squad, putting together the youngest side in Serie A".

"We invested more than 200m euros to open a new cycle," the statement added. "One year later, the value of the investment is unchanged and the market value of the squad is the third in Serie A.".

The club says the first team's salaries are below 60% of revenues "thanks to investments mainly targeted on young players with a view to the future".

Milan also say the club are on course to meet the targets set in their business plan presented to Uefa, have made investments in the training ground, will field a women's team next season, have adhered to B-team initiatives and will participate in the next Lega Pro season with their Under-21 side.

"We immediately focused to ensure greater efficiency to our organisation, to manage the club in an upstanding, transparent and responsible way," the statement said.

"We lowered the operating costs by 6m euros. Our majority shareholder increased the capital over the course of a year by 88m euros (not loans), raising the value of the club's assets.

The club is actually aiming for a more stable and thriving asset. "All of these facts are inspired by a single mantra: working for the future of Milan, a valuable asset to the world of football.

Trump Refuses To Take The Blame For Destroying American Businesses - Duration: 4:12.

As Donald Trump's trade wars continue to destroy businesses here in the United States, he wants

to make one thing absolutely clear to the American public, none of this is his fault

whatsoever.

That's right.

The president who wants to take credit for riding his economic coattails of Obama, and

wants us to say that every good economic things that happens is because of him, refuses to

take the blame for all of the bad things that are starting to pop up all over the US economy.

This week, it was Harley Davidson.

They announced that due to the tariffs, the retaliatory tariffs that have been put in

place by other countries as a result of Donald Trump's tariffs on those countries.

That they're going to have to move some of their production overseas.

They're going to lay off American workers, they're going to move some factory production

so that they can get around all of these horrible tariffs that are in place because of Donald

Trump's policies.

So, Trump lashed out at Harley Davidson on Twitter.

He said, their employees and customers are already very angry at them, if they move,

watch, it will be the beginning of the end.

They surrendered, they quit, the aura will be gone, and they will be taxed like never

before.

Now, to me, it sounds like the president is using his official capacity as the political

leader of this country to intimidate and harass and threaten a private business.

Now, last time I checked, that's actually illegal.

But of course, as we've seen with every single thing Trump has done, nobody's ever going

to hold them accountable.

Nobody's going to file an ethics complaint against them for this, but just remember that

when you see these things that yes, this is technically illegal for the President to do

it.

But at this point, that's the least of our concerns.

What we do have to worry about are the businesses that are closing their doors and laying off

American workers because they can't afford to keep operating due to Donald Trump's trade

war.

Harley Davidson is not the first one this week.

We already heard about the story of the nail manufacturing company, the largest in the

United States that's already laid off 500 people.

And now the president of that company is worried that he's going to have to shut his doors

completely because they simply can't afford to operate due to Donald Trump's trade wars.

Yet, here Trump is on Twitter threatening these companies and saying that, "It's not

my fault.

You got to wait it out.

Be patient.

Yeah, things are going to suck for quite a while, but eventually they'll get better."

That's not how this works Donald.

You're playing a game that you don't understand.

Nobody ever emerges as the winner of a trade war.

It eventually comes down to everybody having to sit down and make a ton of concessions

in order to get it to stop.

And that is not something that Donald Trump is willing to do.

And because of that, this is going to last, this is going to get worse, and let's remember,

this has been what, about a month now that these terrorists have been going on.

And we've lost well over $1 billion worth of economic activity in the United States.

Businesses are closing their doors, hundreds of people, if not thousands at this point,

have already lost their jobs in one month.

Can you imagine how bad things will be by the end of the summer if he doesn't stop this.

In all of it, every single piece of it is 100% his fault.

You can't even argue that this is a Republican thing, no, this is a Donald Trump thing.

He is doing this on his own, unilaterally.

I guess you could blame Republicans a little bit because they refused to vote on the democratic

legislation that would have stopped Trump from doing this.

But at the end of the day, he is the one that made these decisions.

He is the one who is destroying these businesses, and he is the one who doesn't want to accept

any of the blame for wrecking the US economy.
