What is REACT™? - Duration: 4:03.

Hello.

Today we'd like to introduce our REACT™ wizard.

The REACT™ wizard is available with SHOEBOX Audiometry Version 5.0, and beyond.

REACT™ stands for Response and Environment Adaptive Control Technology.

It runs continuously in the background with both our automated and assisted audiometry modes.

It is continuously monitoring for

situations that may impact your test results.

It's important to note, that you are able to configure your settings for this wizard.

In order to do so,

you can go into your settings screen prior to testing and select one of three options for notifications for the wizard.

The first option, is to be notified real-time during the test.

The second option, is to be notified at the end of the test.

And the third option, is to shut off notifications entirely.

The types of things that it's monitoring for

include, patient response consistency.

Because with hearing testing we are often testing at very soft levels,

it can sometimes be hard to isolate a threshold.

When the REACT™ wizard prompts for response consistency,

one action could be to remove the headphones from your patient and reinstruct.

This is something that can be especially helpful at the beginning of the test, when the patient is new to the task at hand.

Another aspect that it monitors is

results consistency, as opposed to response consistency.

And so, if the pattern of the audiogram

seems, A - typical, the REACT™ wizard may come up and prompt you, to notify you of this.

Lastly, environmental noise.

The technical term for the levels that are prescribed by various standards organizations, is known as MPANL.

Which stands for maximum permissible ambient noise level. In your settings

once again, you can pre configure the set of MPANLs you would like to use for your testing environment.

Going from less permissible, to more permissible - depending on your use case.

The options presented to you with the REACT™ wizard are fourfold.

Firstly, you can choose to retest that particular frequency.

Secondly, you can choose to skip that frequency.

Third, you can at that point change over to Assisted Mode.

Assisted Mode is a tester operated, yet still fully automated Hughson-Westlake bracketing technique to find threshold.

At this point I would like to refer you over to our YouTube channel where you can find another two-minute video

that goes into more detail for Assisted Mode.

Lastly, you can choose to end your test.

If you were to choose that option,

your data to that point will be saved on the audiogram.

Should you wish to retest the patient at a further date, you would create a new test.

 He also has another daughter Ella from a previous relationship.  Who is Jamie Vardy?  Jamie Vardy was born in Sheffield on January 11, 1987

  His footballing career began with the Stockbridge Park Steels youth team at the age of 16, after he was released by Sheffield Wednesday

  He played on the reserve team before making it into the first team, with his debut under manager Gary Marrow in 2007

He also worked as a technician making medical splints who playing non-league football

 In 2009, he spent a week on trial with Crewe Alexandra but a permanent move did not happen and he also turned down a short-term contract with Rotherham United

Vardy was signed by Halifax Town FC for £15,000 in 2010 and made his debut in a home match against Buxton, where he scored the winning goal in a 2-1 match
