- In the 1970s, genocide was committed

against millions of Cambodians.

And though they've spent decades working to rebuild their society,

one in five Cambodians live on less than two dollars a day.

where traffickers take advantage and force

Chanmoni was in her early teens when she

was approached by a Thai couple

offering to hire her as their nanny.

She agreed and was taken across the border

where she was raped and then trafficked.

Eventually she was able to escape and contact

local authorities who brought her to Hope for Justice.

is the Lighthouse Assessment Center where,

you know, within minutes a newly rescued girl

can come to find immediate safety, immediate protection,

and in an environment where they can just start to breathe.

We provide support and treatment,

we help them to become themselves again.]

- We're looking at, okay, what can we do to

best advocate for this girl on the aftercare side?

That's kind of a natural segue for us,

and to our other program which is the Dream Home,

which is a longer-term residential program for survivors

that need a semi-permanent space to receive

professional therapeutic care, but also a positive,

nurturing environment so that they can start

to look at their future as something positive.

- The Young Living Foundation with Hope for Justice

is not just changing their life,

but it's changing future generations.

[Chanmoni can now help herself, as well as other children.

And she is trying to be a good role model for the children.]

Chanmoni's hard work, combined with the dedicated help

from the staff at the Dream Home and Shine School

earned her a full scholarship to university.

There she studies to be able to help others

in the same way that she's been helped.

I was a bit awkward for mum in the beginning interacting with the girls and

having this quality time but she's let her down she should enjoying herself and

I'm pressed with the effort that she's made today I actually felt I was giving

part of myself to them and they I think noticed the difference

it wasn't like oh she's just doing it she's actually doing it because she

wants to do it and she's enjoying it and I did enjoy it and it was good quality

time

What Darth Maul's Appearance In Solo Means For Star Wars - Duration: 5:11.

Solo: A Star Wars Story was pitched to audiences as a look into the early life and times of

Han Solo.

But Star Wars fans got a lot more of the history from the world around Han than they might

have been expecting, and nothing was more unexpected than the return of Darth Maul.

While Maul's appearance didn't have much of an effect on Solo's story, it suggests huge

implications for the way the Star Wars saga will unfold down the line.

Let's break down what Darth Maul's appearance in Solo means for the future of Star Wars.

Criminal circle

The most direct plot consequence of Darth Maul's return has everything to do with his

new day job: Running a criminal enterprise.

In Solo, Maul is the shadowy leader of the crime syndicate Crimson Dawn, with Dryden

Vos and Qi'ra near the top of the organization's hierarchy.

Other than Crimson Dawn, the galaxy plays host to groups like the Mandalorian Death

Watch, the Hutt Clan, and the Pyke Syndicate, with the Pykes facilitating the smuggling

of spice out of Kessel.

The other two organizations have ties to very familiar Star Wars characters, the Mandalorian

Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt, both of whom eventually end up having dealings with Han

Solo.

Considering that a Boba Fett movie is in the making and a Jabba appearance is clearly set

up by the end of Solo, the intersecting crime syndicates appear to be an ideal way to connect

the different Star Wars stories back into a larger world, with an underground criminal

web pulling the sprawl together.

Everything is connected

For fans who only watched the movies, Darth Maul has long been out of the picture.

Obi-Wan Kenobi cut him in half, and then both pieces of him fell into the unknown depths

of Naboo.

But as his appearance in Solo indicates, the movies aren't all that matters anymore.

While tons of Star Wars lore outside of the main series of films was jettisoned after

Disney purchased Lucasfilm, Darth Maul remained in the animated, canonical Clone Wars.

He survived his thrashing at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi thanks to the force of the

Dark Side.

Maul ended up being transported to a trash planet, where he passed the time by constructing

himself a set of robot spider legs.

Maul went on to become a pivotal character in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated

TV series, as well as its follow-up, Star Wars: Rebels.

While those shows have been canonical as far as Disney is concerned, few characters who

have spent so much time on the small screen have returned to the big one, until now.

The fact that Maul's story is now being folded back into the movies has huge implications

for the rest of the Star Wars canon.

Suddenly, all the characters from Disney's Expanded Universe feel like fair game to get

called up to the movies' major leagues, and that's never really been a possibility before.

Versus Obi-Wan

Maul's appearance in Solo won't necessarily be explored in a Solo sequel.

After all, Han Solo and Darth Maul aren't known for their dealings together.

Maul's real nemesis, of course, is the man who chopped him up in the first place, Obi-Wan

Kenobi.

Maul's quest for vengeance against the self-exiled Jedi dominated his story in Star Wars: Rebels,

which canonically takes place several years after the events of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

That quest for revenge comes to fruition in the Star Wars: Rebels episode "Twin Suns,"

with Maul finally tracking down Obi-Wan on Tatooine.

Their duel doesn't end well for Maul, with Obi-Wan dispatching him almost effortlessly.

But even though we know where Maul's story ends up, there's still a lot of story left

to tell, with years' worth of gaps to fill.

With a potential Obi-Wan movie on the horizon, could Maul's story continue in that film?

Rumors indicate that the Obi-Wan movie is currently in pre-production, scheduled to

be filmed after Episode 9 wraps.

It's all subject to change, but it feels compelling.

Crime lord or not, Maul doesn't really belong in a Solo sequel, not as much as Jabba and

his people, or the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

But an Obi-Wan movie is a perfect fit, and may be where we can expect Maul's story to

properly pick up next.

Magical new worlds

At the conclusion of Solo, Maul summons Qi'ra to come and meet with him on his home planet

of Dathomir, a world previously unseen on the big screen.

Dathomir has played host to a number of malevolent Force users, not Jedi, not Sith, but something

in between.

Along with his brother Savage Opress, Maul was raised on the planet by a society called

the Nightsisters, Force-sensitive witches who used Dathomir's strange energies to wield

potent magic.

The existence of wizardry on the fringes of the Force is an aspect of Star Wars that's

remained relatively unexplored in the movies, where any mystic character has typically been

either a Jedi or a Sith.

But in the Expanded Universe, the Force is more like a spectrum.

For one thing, there's the existence of Gray Jedi who draw from both the light and dark

sides of the Force.

Additionally, the Force-sensitive Chirrut in Rogue One also broadened our understanding

of how the Force manifests.

Maul's story could further that developing understanding in the movies.

His home world would be a perfect venue for expanding Star Wars' presentation of the mystical,

adding some mystery back to the Force by demonstrating that it's not always as simple as a light

side and a dark.

And one of the updates we would need... would be another MvM-update.

Ok! First things first!

Everything here is MY opinion.

Some other gay can say:

"But a Heavy, Medic and Spy Update would be way better!"

or

"But Valve needs to remove the pyro!"

And that's okay, I respect that.

Um...Ugh... Well not the last one. Because everyone who has that opinion seriously is just no longer a sane human being anymore... no sorry...

*cough* Well... But I -as someone who loves MvM and plays it regulary- ...this has priority in some point.

Well... Let's get to said point. (So many "Well"'s D:)

I got so bored one day.... So I thought:

Like Engie, Demo, Medic and fuck me who else...

And those who are not good enough to compete with the Meta

We will start with the class specific upgrades and things that should be added

beginning with the king of douche-baggery... The Scout.

So... i would add the upgrade to add a bonus jump on the atomizer.

The upgrade can be bought 3 times in total and costs 100 Credits each time.

So... In the end... Scout...

could have 4 extra jumps.

Yeah... okay...

Go ahead and cry.

For Pyro I would add for the Thermal Thruster a +1 available jetpack-jump-thingie (whatever it's called)

The upgrade can be bought 2 times and costs 150 Credits each.

I think there will never ever be a point in time

where the Gas Passer will not be

the number one choice for pyro in Mvm; just because...

it's ridiculously good...

But i think: At least adding something for the Thermal Thruster to maybe

make it a viable option for some other playstyles

would be... preferable

Talkin' about the Gas Passer being the number one choice!

There should be a "Slow Down"-Upgrade for it!

For 200 Credits...

Maybe 400 if it's too strong.

And now something many people may think is useless

but I think that would be funny as hell to see

An upgrade for all flamethrowers:

"Increase length and width of the fire."

Length and Width would increase both in one upgrade at the same time

and the upgrade could be bought 2 times for 200 Credits each time.

Length and width would increase about 40% per upgrade

And for the underused flare-guns:

I would say make it able to increase the slpash radius.

No seriously. Imagine a Scorch-Shot-Pyro shooting at a group of enemies

and the radius for the fire to spread

would be as wide as half of this way

on this MvM Map (As I said it "WhemVieWhem Wap")

Which name is so irrelevant to me

The upgrade could be bought 2 times for 150 credits each.

The next up is the drunken, black, scottish cyclops... the nigger demoman.

to have +1 in disposal.

So.. you can carry... two of those items...now at once...

Wearing two Razorbacks at the same time sounds kinda odd... whatever!

The upgrade can be purchased one time for 400 Credits.

The Huntsman should also have the upgrade to

have his arrows always on fire for 250 credits.

Another appreciated -at least by me- upgrade for the Huntsman

would be the fact that headshots would cause an explosive headshot.

And now: My most used Sniper Melee:

should get the upgrade "Increase Bleeding Damage about 20%"

and "Increase Bleeding Duration" about 20%

Both upgrades could be bought three times for 150 Credits each upgrade.

The Sphee should have (like the Sniper with his Jarate and *maybe* his Razorback)

the ability to carry more sappers.

So... I suggest the ugrade: "+1 Sapper"

Upgradable 3 times for 100 Credits each.

A-And Valve explain it to me: Why the heck has Spy no upgrades for his watches?

W-Why?! I don't get it? Volvo pls fix?

I suggest adding the upgrades:

33% percent longer cloak duration

which is upgradable 3 times

for 150 Credits each.

+15% damage resistance against explosion, fire or bullet damage while cloaked

Upgradable 3 times on the different resistances for 200 credits each upgrade.

And yes, I can see the problem here that you can get above 100% with the other resistances ..umm...

(I didn't understand it myself to be honest)

10% of the damage received while cloaked will be transformed into health

I have no idea!

Or... you just get no damage while cloaked.

And of course there should be a faster recharge-upgrade! So:

33% faster recharge can be upgraded 3 times for 100 credits each

And because I hate the nerfs on the dead ringer that you can't pick up ammo anymore:

At this point: Fuck you, Valve.

There should be an upgrade for the Dead Ringer that you can recharge it with dispensers and ammo-apcks for 300 credits

And for the Spycicle ( The thing that I would rename into "The IceDick")

Should have the upgrade to decrease it's recharge time about 50% for 300 credits

The Spy himself should get a radius for the money-collectin'-stuff as big as the Scout's.

Just to make Spy more of a competition to Scout.

And last-but-not-least for the first episode:

The All-Class-Upgrades.

Those might be the upgrades people will think are the most useless and dumb ones...

But I would like to have them in the game just for the purpose to support different playstyles.

No really. Fuck the MvM Meta. FUCK HER DEEP, DAD!

So, Lets do it ... F A S T.

An upgrade to class: "Increase health about 30HP"

Able to be upgraded 4 times for 200 Credits each

An Upgrade for +20% ammo-regeneration every 10 seconds.

This includes all weapons except the engineers metal supply and Spys cloak watches and sappers.

You will be able to upgrade it 3 times for 250 credits each.

So in the end you would get 60% ammo back every 10 seconds.

For the Power-Up-Canteens:

Add a Power-Up-Canteen named "Powerplay".

Which adds the following effects to user for 8 seconds:

Invulnerability, all banner effects for you and your surrounding team-mates up to a radius of 400hU

with an abaitment of 2 seconds.

K R I T Z S

The Quick-Fix-Über and healing for you and your surrounding team-mates up to a radius of 200hU

And you will only be able to have one in disposal, and it costs

400 credits. If it's too strong... Let's say 800 credits.

So... Phew...

Those were the additions i would like to be implemented.

3 Hardest Game for 49ers (2018 Predictions) - Duration: 7:12.

Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers as always.

Doing another Top 3 video. This time, covering the "hardest games"

for the 49ers in 2018. So, these are games in my opinion that when they come to

that week, it's going to be a very intense game and it's going to be very close. So,

that's pretty much what I mean by hard. Not really in terms of are they going to be

impossible to win. I believe the 49ers have a chance to beat every single team on

this schedule this year. Also, want to give a shout-out to Booty Bandit

for giving me to suggestion (nice name by the way) for this three difficult wins

that I think is going to happen for the 49ers. Before I get the video started,

Monday Night Football. Now, pretty much the biggest reason why this game is

going to be hard is because of Aaron Rodgers. That's all I can say. One of the

great quarterbacks in the NFL right now. Top quarterback along with Tom Brady.

That's what everyone pretty much says on the quarterback echelon right now is

that Aaron Rodgers is one of the top quarterbacks if not the number one

quarterback in the NFL. I have to agree with that. When Aaron

Rodgers is on the Packers, they always have a chance to win no matter what and

they figured out last year that when he got hurt, they had no chance because

Brett Hundley did not really do a good job

backing up for Aaron Rodgers, which is kind of surprising because he's been in

the system for a couple of years now, but hey. He's not Aaron Rodgers. So, whatever.

They also got DeShone Kizer from the Cleveland Browns. Other people they got

was Jimmy Graham. That should be an interesting dynamic between him and

Rodgers. Maybe it's going to be a better system for him in Green Bay than it wasn't

Seattle for the past couple years because didn't really work out in

Seattle. Muhammad Wilkerson, the defensive line is with the Packers as well. So, that

should be interesting. Josh Jackson, the rookie cornerback. He's with the Packers.

We'll see if he can do a good job. I kind of talked about him before the

draft started. Maybe the 49ers were thinking about taking them, but they

ended up not taking him at all. We'll see what he could do in Green Bay. Good luck

to him. Really, the biggest reason is because of Aaron Rodgers and it's at

Lambeau Field. That should be very fun to watch. I don't know if the

49ers are acclimated to cold weather by the time this game happens,

but it should be pretty cold by then. If it's not, then I'm an idiot.

But anyways, Green Bay Packers? Talented team somewhat, but the biggest reason is Aaron Rodgers.

Coming in at number 2, I have the Minnesota Vikings, week 1. The

first game of the season at Minnesota. This should be a fun one. I don't know if

it's going to be like a tough, tough game. It's kind of hard to decide if it is, but

it's going to be a very close one just like the Packers game and the number one

thing that I will be mentioning in a little bit. The Vikings, they're a pretty

damn good team. Kirk Cousins as we all know. I mean, I'm pretty much going to regurgitate

everything I said for the games that I was excited for in 2018. Cousins

is there. They had some great additions to the team this year. Also, the defense

is pretty stout. Can't really say anything else. It's really Garoppolo versus

the defense. I want to see how Garoppolo can do in his first game of 2018. Can he

keep this momentum up, beating a very good Minnesota Vikings team? This is

pretty much a pivotal game for the 49ers I would say. If they lose this game, it

won't be a heart crushing season or whatever, but winning this game will

definitely, definitely help even more if they can do that. Really excited for this game.

Want to see Jimmy Garoppolo versus this tough defense and I want to see the

49ers defense led by Solomon Thomas, maybe Reuben Foster, I'm not sure.

Fred Warner, all those guys. See them face against Kirk Cousins' offense. That should

be pretty interesting. They have some very good targets. Excited to see

this game. It's going to be a very intense one I would say. It's going to be a

pretty damn close one. So, Minnesota Vikings? Tough team because of the

defense and also, our defense might be a little bit challenged the first week of

the season. Maybe, they're trying to get acclimated still to playing in the

regular season in real games. Going to keep it like that. Minnesota Vikings, tough

team. Before it gets to number one hardest team to play in 2018 for the

49ers, want to do an honorable mention real quick. I'm going to mention the LA

Chargers, week four. You're wondering. why are you putting the LA Chargers? They're

really not that good. Well, I guess you don't watch any football because the

Chargers are a pretty damn good team. They started really slow last year. I think

they started 0-4 and they had a lot of winning streak. Ended up going 9-7

and barely missing the playoffs, which is kind of disappointing because

they were a better team than the Chiefs in my opinion, but hey. What can you do

right? This defense just like the Vikings. This is a very good defense led by Joey

Bosa, which I was completely wrong about. I thought he was going to be a flop in the

NFL, but he's one of the best defensive lineman's in the NFL. Also,

Melvin Ingram is there, Casey Hayward. Like, this team is really loaded and not

just on defense, on offense as well. Philip Rivers is still a pretty damn

good quarterback, even up there in age. I'm excited to see this game as well. I

think this is going to be one of the dark horse games for the 49ers this

year. I'm surprised not a lot of people are talking about this game. They

should be because this should be a fun one in Los Angeles. I wish I could go to

that game, but I won't be in LA that time. Should be a tough one. Should be a

close one. Hopefully, the 49ers can eke out a win against this very good

Chargers team. We'll see if they can do that. So yeah. Los Angeles Chargers, should

be a good one. Coming in at number one as the hardest game for the 49ers in 2018

in my opinion is the LA Rams. I think everyone pretty much saw this.

It's not even because it's the LA Rams. It's because they're in our division.

If the Rams were not in our division, I would not put them at number one. I'd

probably put them at number three or even an honorable mention. Since they're

in our division, we have to play them twice a year. They are my number one squad and

if they (49ers) want to get past the NFC West, they have to beat this team. This is

really pivotal. They're going to be playing them in week seven on NBC at home. This

is a really fun one. This is going to be right after the Packers game. So, they got

really two tough prime time games. Hopefully, they can eke out wins in both of them.

I'm excited to see this game. I'm pretty sure you guys are excited to see this

game as well. It's more the week seven game that I'm really worried about

more than the week 17 because it's week 17. It's really far away.

Week seven, should be intense one. Sunday Night Lights, should be fun. Got Jared

Goff, Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks now. So much targets on offense. Defense, we all

know Wade Phillips 3-4 defense with Aaron Donald and company. They are

looking loaded right now. Also the cornerbacks, wow. They got Aqib Talib

and Marcus Peters. Like that's freaking ridiculous on paper.

Maybe it might not work out. Hopefully, it doesn't work out, but I think it's going to

work out because Wade Phillips is a pretty damn good coach. Talib has

worked under him when they won the Super Bowl in Denver a couple of years ago.

So, yeah really. A loaded team. Excited to see what this game takes us to. Garoppolo vs. Jared Goff.

It was very close last year, even with Brian Hoyer as the quarterback,

but that was a very young Rams team. This Rams team is even more experienced. This

is the most anticipated game and I think this is going to be the most difficult game

for the 49ers just because they know each other well pretty much. Shanahan

vs. McVay. I mean, I can go on and on with the matchups for this game between

these two awesome teams. You know, I kind of have some love for Los Angeles

because I used to live in that area as well near Anaheim. I know they don't

play in Anaheim, but they used to play there back of the day. Going to keep it like

that you guys. Putting the Rams at number one because of a division rival. Should
