Hello! In this video I'm gonna share seven tips with you to make life on

board a boat with a baby easier.Emma and Rossella and are currently in the

V birth and Emma is gonna get some sleep so it's just me but don't worry you'll see

Rossella and Emma throughout this video. We have spent the last couple of months

living on board with Emma. First of all on the hard during a refit - that was hard

work - and then now on the water continuing the refit so we've learned a

few things over that period of time and we thought we'd share these tips with

you to help people out.

Tip number one is a baby seat. When we first arrived here Emma couldn't sit

down unsupported on her own but she could sit in her seat and because of

that, we were able to put her in a seat and leave her for a little bit of time

unattended, which freed us up to do other things around the boat.

Not long after we'd been on the boat Emma learned to sit up on her own

unsupported, but in order to do that we needed to have somewhere safe for her to

be, so to meet that need I made her a play area. You can also lie

on your front and you might start crawling in here. Yipee, crawling!

Number three is an inflatable bath. This is really useful of course it can be

deflated and stowed away in a very small space but when it's blown up it's a

really comfortable bath it's very comfortable for Emma to be in she

doesn't need supporting with our hands or anything in there she can't bang

herself against anything because it's soft obviously the edges connected to

that is a pull-out shower. First of all we had to fill the inflatable bath using

containers but then afterwards I fitted a pull-out shower and that means that we

can fill it straight from the tap.

Number four is a washing machine we bought a small washing machine marketed

at caravans and it's been absolutely fantastic. We've used it tons on board

anybody with a baby will know how much washing they create and that has been a

real godsend.Iit was cheap too and it's quite lightweight so it can be moved

around and stowed away quite easily.

Number five: A DVD player. We didn't fit this it was

already on the boat when we bought it but it's been amazing if you need just

10 or 15 minutes of respite to do something together ie Rossella and I if we needed

to do something together it's great to be able to put a DVD on also with Emma

because I'm from the UK and Rossella, my wife, is from Italy so we're teaching

Emma to be bilingual. I always speak English and Rossella always speaks

Italian and the DVD can be switched between the two languages so basically

we would do that we'd put it on once in English and once in Italian so Emma

can continue to learn the two languages even without us teaching her.

..but a DVD player just gives you that 10 or 15 minutes if you've got something

going on perhaps you need to anchor or do something you can put baby in the play

area with the DVD and that frees you up to do something else.

Number six is a potty. We bought a very cheap potty it was the smallest one we

could find it was actually from poundshop so it cost one pound and we've been

giving E|mma the opportunity to go to the toilet as much as possible which has

been brilliant. In all honesty I started to take Emma to the toilet when she was

six days old so this isn't a new thing her going to the toilet, but having a

potty on the boat just makes it really really easy Emma loves the independence to

go into the toilet you can tell after she's been she's very happy with herself

she's very content she's proud of herself and it makes things easier for

us because in the last six weeks Emma has only been to the toilet - I'm not

talking about liquids here - but other than that she's only been to the toilet

once in her nappy all the rest of the time she's gone in her potty and that

makes it a lot easier for us you're not cleaning up a potty is very easy much

easier than cleaning a dirty baby so it just makes sense and as I say you can

see that Emma is very very content about that.

Number seven is breastfeeding. Now, this is very personal thing but we're just

sharing our experience. We have used bottles after Emma was released from

hospital there was a period where we were feeding her with bottles in

addition to breastfeeding so we have experience of how much more convenient

breastfeeding is compared to bottles and sterilizing and all the other things

that you have to do to stay on top of that. We haven't had to think about any

of that when we've been on the boat because Emma has been breastfed

from Rossella. She's now eating solid foods - but she's

continuing to be breastfed and it just makes life super super easy

also for traveling getting on a flight or something it's just a lot less to

think about and it really is super super convenient of course it's good for baby too

- having said that we know how difficult it is

Rossella especially knows how difficult it is the the early periods of starting

to breastfeed it really is not easy at all and it's very very easy to see how

many people would stop because it's so difficult but if you persevere... I'm sorry

Rossella isn't here for this section of video but I'm sure she would tell you

stick with it it gets very easy after a while and your life is so much easier

afterwards so that would be our tip number seven. There we are then we need

to leave the boat now we're going back on land to meet our other commitments we

need to make some money for example so we hope you enjoyed this video we hope

you found it useful if you did give it a thumbs up. We are making videos like this

to try and help people like you so if you found this useful then please

consider going to our patreon page you can give one dollar per month and that

will help us to make more useful videos for you. We'll put links to some of the

products that were mentioned in the description of the video if you've got

any tips of your own for making life on board with a baby any easier and please

leave a comment below and help other people out and if you haven't done

already subscribe to our channel for more videos okay that's it for now thank

you for watching and we'll see you soon ciao

A Sunless Life For Me | Sunless Sea | 1 - Duration: 47:58.

Hey, you ready? I

know we've been planning this for like

7 months now, but we're finally here. We're finally playing games together

so this is Sunless Sea by Failbetter games and

I decided what better game to start this out with then the sister game of Fallen London, which is something I play

entirely too much,

and,

I don't know how to play this so

This is gonna go horrible

This is gonna go ho-ri-ble

Sure, I, hm.

If your hull reaches 0, your ship will sink I should hope it would, I

I would hope it would

I'm so excited. I really love the

The atmosphere and the aesthetic of most of Failbetter Games' stuff

um

Yeah, it's good it's

Victorian-esque, which is always a soft spot for me. Don't know why

but also boats and the terrifying terrifying ocean and

How long is this going to load for?

uh

And I've--okay, so I've been playing Fallen London for

years

And I'm not far at all

I am barely anywhere because I hear people talking about places like the Khanate and I have

No idea where that is. I don't, huagh.

mean I know where it is from this game from what little I remember of playing this game from like last year, but

eeeh

Also

Lots of reading which is a positive for me. I don't know if it's a positive for you but like

ah

Captain's making

Three decades ago in the reign of Victoria London was stolen by bats. Now it lies a mile below the surface

It was a--it was dreadfully inconvenient for everyone

But it opened a vast bleak ocean to you. Welcome to the Unterzee

Choose a past I shall choose a past

Decide who you were and what you want to be.

I am now in a lot--a ble ble bleuh. I'm in a room above the ble

Blind Helmsman ha

There we go. Ooh

yes a

street urchin, a poet, a veteran of the Campaign of '68

an ordained priest, or a natural philosopher

Okay hearts, mirrors, iron, pages, veils

Now in in non stealth games I tend to go the stealth route and then in stealth games I tend to

Mess everything up but

Trickery and knowledge. That's calling out to me, but direct damage

Hm.

Hmm.

Detection and perception

But direct damage

That'll, that'll probably help me survive better. Okay, you fought in the invasion of Hell!

Oh.

London's armies lost

You survived your loots and your pension have brought you--have bought you a command

Alright stern and exacting, they will not trifle with you. You promised a job to your acquaintance, the shady cook

He'll do until you find someone less disgusting

oh my gosh

You were a weary soldier, now your're a Zee captain. Welcome to the world! Echos, iron, shady cook

Someone is looking for passage

Choose an ambition. What does meaning mean to you? Your father's...

bones

Damn. Immortality!

But everyone's already semi immortal

Everyone's already semi immortal you can't die in Fallen London.

Although, you can fall apart enough that people stop wanting to look at you, but you can't really die and

Until you go back to the surface in which case you immediately keel over. It's a whole thing. It's great

Fulfilment: Gather a hundred tales. Learn all you can of the Zee. Write a masterpiece. Retire.

That's a good plan. Wealth, a private Kingdom--Ooh, a private Kingdom. I want that. I want it

A utopia perhaps. Perhaps. Oh I want it

But I also want, it--well, I, I don't want immortality

We, we're getting deep

Here in our first gaming session, but I don't want immortality. I want eternal youth

With an escape clause, 'cause eventually I'm gonna get tired.

let's see

A family, perhaps, aw that sounds nice. That actually sounds really nice. Wealth

Wealth. Yes.

You know how it is to be poor. Now, you want a mansion,

servants, fine clothes, a family, perhaps

Beyond The Dreams: the unterzee is full of riches. Death and darkness, too

But it's worth the gamble. To win, gather a substantial retirement fund, upgrade your lodgings to a mansion, and retire. Ok

That's doable. That's perfectly doable

Probably

Captain, captain! An ireggugh

Irregularity with the harbormaster's office. They wish to know what term of address do you prefer ashore?

ah du dah du duh

my lord, ho ho

Sir, sir, it is good sir. It is

last piece of advice

Explore, take chances. This captain will probably die

The Zee is hungry but each captain passes on lessons to the next. Oh

Oh, that's good, I forgot about that. I forgot that you're supposed to die

That sounds so bad. Oh I get to choose my icon. Oh boy, no, those are, those are girls

um, bum bum bum bum, bum, ba da ba da ba da ba.

yeah, I'm walking ashore in a deep-sea diving outfit that

That looks like Loki from Thor 2011

haha

Shady, tomb colonist

That that's about accurate

Huh, and now a name

With that hair you're a Gerard

woop

Oh

Oh boy, um, it says to talk to my chef. So I'm gonna talk to my chef.

Your officers. Oh boy. Left click, hhlfl boy

I've got a mascot!

cool

A comatose ferret. I thought it was a bat. I thought that was a bat.

Ah

Mostly it's immobile, occasionally its feral. He can render supplies edible if not palatable

Right-click to speak speak to hello

Oh

"Whatcheront?" he might say more but a coughing fit takes him eventually

He straightens up and wipes his mouth slowly with his forearm

Oh, what what do you want from life?

hmm?

"Fwrerr." He looks you directly in the eyes

"Seolly." He repeats it more slowly. "Sea of Lilies." He licks his lips very slowly

Eventually, you have to look away. The sea of lilies is somewhere in the east central unterzee.

UNTERZEE. Ok East Central, okay

This is West weird West currently

Great thanks. Oh

I don't know what to do. Haha

Zubmariner tutorial? we don't have a submarine read the morning papers

Probably a good idea

Rest

To reduce your terror. What ooh

purchase an elegant townhouse

Retire oh

Oh

oh

Okay, um

Read the morning papers

It's always good to stay up on the times the Unexpurgiated

Gazette the Mzee--the magazine formerly known as the London magazine the spiteful

trumpeter news

News from home the echo Bazaar the enigmatic marketplace has increased its tax on love stories

The traitor Empress has forbidden singing in the street outside of her palace the anarchists of the calendar council have inexplicably

Dynamited a drinking fountain the ministry of public decency has located and destroyed a nest of gallblighter wasps

Thanks?

Thanks

I don't know what I'm doing

I don't know what I'm doing ha advice

Explore

Ok

Good enough, ok

London

Why do I need ooh?

They'll pay for information from Zee captain's find out what and how that sounds good

The Admiralty's

Picket fleets and intelligence networks are long gone. the survey office pays Zee captains a small sum for recent information

Go to ports, gather port reports and trade them in here

sweet sweet sweet sweet

That is cool

anything in particular

If we can be assured of your discretion

This port what ports Gaider's Mourn in the Corsair's Forest, oh

Oh boy

Uh-huh. Do I have an appointment? Eh, no.

Survey three ports and ok. Ok, leave I guess out into the foggy streets. Turn your collar up

Sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet hire on more crew. Do I need more crew? I have eight crew. I think I'm good.

I think I'm good, 'cause crew takes

supplies

I'm

Sorry that this is not faster, but I need to reacquaint myself

Drydock, not necessary, offer passage to a tomb colonist

Sure

An emigrant will pay to be taken north to Venderbight

oddly difficult to die in Fallen London

But when a Londoner is too tatty and wretched to live they wrap themselves in bandages and take ship for the tomb colonies

Your crew cart... your crew cart these ones aboard in padded coffins. They'll sleep there until the journey is done

Sweet I can do that. I can do that immediately

Adopti a Blemmingam... Blemmigan

Gallivanter. What?

What? Oh god, I have it now, okay, euh

A Blemmigan sits...

A Blemmigan

Sits atop a splintered crate clicking and whistling at captains as they come near. A polite bow. You extend your hand and the blemmigan leaps

On its tendrils entwine with your fingers and it chitters quietly. It meets your gaze and

bobs its dome in greeting. It's very small. Is it old enough for naval service?

you're pretty sure its moustache has been drawn on in pen in an attempt to look older as

You approach your ships gangplank the creature flutes and vibrates with apparent happiness

The bosun winces as you bring it aboard. It's a mushroom?

It's a mushroom

is that that whoa

I can talk to it I can entertain it

Oh

Wait, hold on that is kind of cute

only kind of

Shelf in your cabin built in nests from loose journal pages, the engineer's scarf and a possibly pilfered map

you can see the

Indentation of a porthole on the rim of its cap, it must been pressing its face to the windows again is it bored?

I'll entertain you. A ticklish thing. Oh that's adorable

Oh, that's cute. The blemmigan flails and squirms as you tickle it

Its high-pitched warble is almost certainly giggling, when you stop to check that you're not actually hurting it

It wraps its tendrils around your fingers and pulls your hand back. Apparently, it's enjoying it itself. That's

so cute

a passenger, okay, to Venderbight

Okay

Sure why not? I don't know where Venderbight is, but sure

Um, she embraces you, "I'd kiss you, but my beloved is prone to jealousy

We were parted but the ancient captains at Venderbight will know where she is."

Aw

See lesbians, yes

Okay, um

Let's see, shipyard? No. No--ooooh

That is worse than my current ship

That is not worse than my current ship

It is just questionable

Possibly there's a reason you might want to set to zee in a boat the size of a dining room table. Possibly.

Hmm. Let's see. That's the same.

Ooh

Two thousand echoes for a lampad-class cutter

cramped and fragile, but remarkably nippy

Maybe not

3,000 echoes, small Swift and formidable like a very angry vole

What?

Okay, um

Here you can buy fuel, supplies, ship equipment, and trade goods. Shops are displayed on the left click on one to see its wares

Thanks

Do I need a flare? To reveal your enemies, eh.

I went with iron, I'm gonna have to fight

Exploration and stories are much more profitable

We're gonna trade

Right there

That's a boat that's just chillin out there for no reason, and I'm going to ignore it

Bat of the--Oh God discovering things

Hunters Keep! Sure!

Hoo.

Hooh.

After a short time at Zee a lamp icon will appear above the log book. It means that opportunities await you at the next port

cool, we're gonna, we're gonna

Dock at Hunter's Keep, I'm gonna hide that so I can actually see, we're gonna go slightly faster

We don't need those

I am aware. Thanks

Oh no, we're super spooked.

And we are going to

Port

yes, okay a hump of dark rocks sway--swa

swathed?

swathed

In mist like a hundred other unterzee islands

But here's a grand house. Windows glow, lawns

impossibly green and lush under the false starlight, raked gravel paths. You stand on the dock as the zee

nudges the ship's sides. An unexpectedly warm breeze carries the faintest trace of lavender

Wow

Spy on the house, maybe not

reconnoiter the island

Plunging cliffs, soft green lawns, a well tucked away in a fold of the grounds. Anything else?

That will give me a port report

Sweet. Ships rarely come here. Nothing changes even the weather

The house is the heart of the Isle the house and the sisters

But the Admiralty may be happy to know that nothing's changed at least

Walk the gardens

Sure. The lawns are neatly trimmed

Nothing comes to Menace you there is a pointed cough from the shadow of a potting shed an angular woman in a maid's uniform,

her eyes a peculiar

sulfurous yellow, advances

Frowning she indicates the house turns on her heel and leaves. That's interesting

Lets us go to the house knock and enter a maid with smoldering topaz eyes

Shows you into the parlor where three young women

Wait. "A visitor!" the youngest cries. The next youngest chuckles. The eldest sighs.

"Do excuse the indecorum," she says. "Visitors are rare."

"You are very welcome. I am Cynthia. The noisy one is Phoebe. The cheerful one is Lucy.

You're in good time for lunch. Will you join us?" A zailor is praying?

Ooh.

I don't know what that means. Um

Cynthia Lucy Phoebe News

News um, they could be tempted out of their lair by the smell of new stories

But it's locked

Oh, 'cause I don't have that, okay, um, Cynthia Lucy or Phoebe

Occasionally dramatic, that. Mm-hmm

Cynthia grasps your arm and whispers to you, her eyes are wide and blue, her hair is wild and tangled, bet--bats

might nest in it

it seems to you that you are sitting on a hillside above a wide blue lake listening to a story of

Murder, an axe, a net, blood on scented water, "another chop?" Cynthia asks, "you've barely touched your food

Here I'll have the maid wrap something up for you. You can't be hungry. It's not safe to be hungry."

I have--

Great, you spooked us, but we've got things and we have more supplies

Great lost 40 hunger bless you

Iron, remains unchanged, salt? What? You now have the gods of the zee, Salt's

attention

It's watching you if it even exists

Ooh

Ooohohoho

News ha ha

Knock and wait. You asked the sulfur-eyed maid to carry a few hints of your news to the sisters. Oddly enough she comes back

With a message that their headaches are cured and you're invited to lunch

Great. How about you Lucy?

how about you

A daft tale, ah I've lost my terror, great

Lucy leans over and whispers to you confidentially. A complex story about a butler, a pig, and an

Inheritance. You don't follow all the details of the plot

But somehow the pig ends up in an attic and the butler in a vicar's bed

Hmm. Candles flicker, dishes enter and leave, and the wind butts gently at the window panes. By the time the plum pudding arrives

you're as cheerful as you've been in months

And now we have Stone's attention. It's very far away, but perhaps it's watching you

Okay, we're gonna... no shops, obviously. Let us depart!

Yes, depart!

We can we can go fast I don't think going fast is going to eat up my fuel faster

I mean the lamp definitely is

Oh no, we're so spooked

Terror

When you see green running lights on the ship

You're the--in the dark, and your crew's terror will increase. Watch the pips on the terror indicator it ra--

Increases faster when you're far from land, don't let it reach a hundred

Oof

All I know is that

The tomb colonies are north. Prickfinger Wastes.

Your prow light can be turned on and off

Great

There are no islands. That's a boat that I'm going to ignore

Those are the tomb colonies. No go away go away

don't

Don't don't I do not want to fight

Ha ha click on the chart icon what chart icon?

To view your discoveries so far. I don't know what the chart icon means. I don't know what that means

Aha, you receive fragments when you discover new places

Acquire enough of them and you'll gain a secret

Great

There're things happening

Is this my chart? This is my chart, ok. It's right there! Wow!

It's always a bit overwhelming to start up a new game but

One last fight

Your passenger has been drinking. "Ahoy," she chortles. "Defend yourself"

She launches a tipsy assault. Your crew. hang back chuckling. Thanks crew.

A hundred percent chance of success

Great

let's do that

An effortless defense: tomb colonists have a lifetime of bitter experience

Some of them are the deadliest combatants under the earth possibly

This one is, when she hasn't drunk quite so much rum, you'll never know.

She salutes you laughing after you disarmed her. "Good fight." She opines

Opins, opines? ah. Then she staggers backward and falls over the side

You never do find what happened to her. But at least you have her rather magnificent cavalry saber and her belongings

nice

You brought a tomb colonists to Venderbight and defeated them in an unexpected duel

cool, um

Have one outlandish artifact, gained an iron

Got supplies! That, that's good. That's very good. That's very very good

Great

Do I still have to... nope

Do I still have that

Passenger?

I don't know. I have no idea

Uh

I think uh, yeah

But where did they need to go?

But but where did they need to go? I think they needed to go to Venderbight. Oops.

Wow

Wow.

Gather gossip, oof

On deck you can hear the sound that a thousand bandaged dead make as they shuffle and cough

It's something like the world's most restless concert audience or the world's most plague-ridden cathedral

Great

Dreams of a lady. When did I get dreams of a lady? Find ancient captains to speak to the unsettled salvager?

Sure

terrible bad luck

an assortment of decrepit sea captains gathers around her compelled by tradition, honor, or boredom

she picks her nails and

Closes her eyes when at last she speaks. "I want to find lady black"

The captains that can run do, the rest shuffle way as swiftly as they're able. Only one remains behind

"How long were you down there?" He asks "20 minutes," she replies

The captain puts his hand on her shoulder

"Seek the House of the Keel in Polythreme," he says, "but if you can forget her, do. It's possible."

He embraces her and departs

what?

What? What?

Huh

Visit the first curator. Witness the curators end.

Oh man okay. Gossip

Thanks

Remarkably hard to die

They don't give up their ties to home or their politics. You gather a Hall of complex Clues enough to keep your contacts in London

Interested great great great great

Explore Venderbight, I guess. Here, they favor candlelight over Gaslight. The shadows are swagged like cobwebs

The tomb colonists stand still enough to be mistaken for sculpture until they laugh or cough. One in three

One building in three seems abandoned

Sure

A raggedy fellow. "I am a good Zeeman. I'm yours. If you'll have me. Will you have me? I'm hungry. I'll work hard"

He seems likely enough if a little ragged and sorrowful

Take him with you leave him here

Well

Unlocked with crew no more than nine for both of them

I think even if I try to leave him here, he's just gonna sneak on

so

Mmm-hmm. Let's go

Let's go, buddy boo

"You won't be sorry. I'll work double watches, ask anyone, they'll tell you I have a good name"

Yes. Yes, eventually you get him to stop talking

His enthusiasm is promising if a little pitiable. There may be further effects from this decision

Cool

cool, cool

This is the Zailor who came begging to you for a berth

He's done good work this one, but he's keeping a little shrine to the Salt,

the nameless god of the horizon, at the back of the hold

Sure

Sure. Sure

Sure, a certain matter has become clear.

Oh, boy

You let him keep a salt circle and it's chalked arrow. That night as you stand on the foredeck a soft breeze

comes out of the east

the Salt's direction, tousles your hair

passes

I now have his attention

That's

Probably gonna be horrible. That's probably gonna be horrible. Um even tomb colonists dissolve in the end oh,

That sounds like a bad way to die

Um, "no more light," listen to a whispered request, ask about the grand sanatorium, accept the Commission

Depart for now. No more light the curator is afraid of moths

Larger than a child

soft buzz of beES?

BeEs?

BEES.

No, no, no, no, no, I'm not talking to anyone

Who

Sell for 23 didn't I buy it for 25?

I feel like I bought it for 25

I really feel like I bought it for 25

Uh, where am I going what am I doing?

Ah

What am I doing

Where am I going?

Oh jeez

Uh

Let's see, mirrors three, pages two, yeah, sure, uh-huh. Sorry, comatose ferret. What am I doing?

What am I doing? Ooh, Leucothia-class steam-yacht

Ooh.

Ooh!

I need a deed. I don't have a deed. Um

I forgot how big this map is. Okay. Um

I could have parked there? I could have parked? There?

I could have

Well now I have to go there just to see if that's correct

Now I have to see whether that is

accurate

This is gonna take a while, oh this is so slow

I need

less crew I need

more fuel

I need to not go this way because there's a ship there

I'm not fighting you go the fuck away go the fuck away shit

Damn it

The red arc shows the range of a deck gun

Great, lights on

Pirate steam-pinnace

Boom

Wrong way

Did it!

Aw yeah

Aw yeah. The ship is yours, what will you do with her? She's a vile old vessel, and these zees aren't safe

Take what you can and move on. Lean pickings, damn

These pinnacles don't sail far from their hidden harbors, but there's something at the back of the hold

box full of mysteries, ha, a bolt of fabric, nice

Spider silk. You can find spider silk in London

Of course

There are troubles with the sorrow spiders inf- infestation like anywhere in the Neath, but for the real quality

You need to go east to the Khanate or the fang-bristling vassnest-

Fastness of surf- savior's rocks.

Ooh.

Soft as silence

Nice that was not horrible that was not horrible

That, that was not horrible and I am surprised

Okay low Barnet, is that where I need to be yes it is

Show me show me where I can

Oh, that's a, that's a. Okay, that must be a, wait.

If I have something to do then I can talk to the sisters again that must be a submarine thing

And turn, and dock. Cool.

Phoebe

How, how- what are you going to do for me?

Phoebe has a story to tell of two lovers parted by water, of a raven that carried messages, of a fragment of the moon

She beats time on the table as she speaks as if to a song only she can hear. The effect is hypnotic

Your attention drifts out through the skylights of the dining room to the false stars glittering on the roof of the cavern

You drift like a puff ball spore the Unterzee simmers below islands lie

Like mineral specimens on black velvet, ships bob like wood chips between the islands

Vast spined things pulse in the depths, there is a scent like the scent before a storm

"The storm came," says Phoebe quietly. "Everything changed."

Somewhere in there you finished the last course. The scowling maid

reluctantly serves cheese and Bath Oliver biscuits

A memory of distance shores. Ah

You are acquainted with the sisters, but something has changed

Got supplies lost hunger lost terror

Fragments are the same and now we have Storm's attention. An ancient anger knows you. I don't like that.

I don't like that

I don't like that

I don't, I don't like that

That sounds bad, but let's just

scuttle off to London

and we'll see what we can do with our

like, two echos that we still have

Right after we run over a buoy

I real- when, when the music is there. It's really good

Like, I'm personally very music minded

[Music fades in]

Ah, there it is, it's so good!

And, like, it changes based on where you are and it's good

You, you would think I would have better adjectives, but I don't

Oh boy, we've got things. Why do we have a little gift, and why does he have a shiv? That sounds like the worst possible thing?

Exchange oh

I bought it for 21. I should have sold it for 23. I would have gained two

I would have gained

two

echoes

Unless that changed, did it change? I feel like that changed I might be wrong

But I'm selling that. A crate of human souls

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Okay stories stories stories

"A fine evening to you, captain

My, what you might call, mentor

is very fond of adventurous zee captains and he would like to offer you what you might call a

dispensation

On account of he is so fond of Zee captains"

Behind the blind bruiser on the dock stands a dray piled high with food and supplies

Accept the dispensation: do make sure you have 15 points of space in the hold.

That's

Okay

Or come back later. It would be embarrassing to have to leave it on the dock

inquire further

refuse

hmm

Hmm. Hmm. Who is this

patron? An airy wave. "He runs a very fine and very liberal establishment

Just across the river

what is much patronized by zailors and by men of wit and vinegar

an public house, and there is no obligation to speak of, my

patron would hope only that you might remember him kindly and I suppose that if the opportunity should arise

For you to return his kindness then I do not imagine he would refuse your offer."

This sounds like a horrible idea, let's do it. Yeah.

Oh boy I got food and supplies, yes

Suspicion though. Hmm. That's bad. "Well my patron hopes that you find these little gifts to your liking and he expects that perhaps one day

You might choose to call on him in the Medusa's head

Should that day come?

We will make you very welcome and give you any safe conduct what you might require. Good evening to you."

This is bad, that was a mistake, but let's read the morning papers, whoo!

Great

I have a study? I do not have a study. Um

Rest? But that requires money. Oh boy

Visit the admiralty, visit the, ooh visit the, visit the university. Oh boy visit the university Wow

Admiralty Survey office. Yes, okay

They will pay for information from zee captains, sweet

Pickett fleets and intelligence networks. I. Why did I say sweet? I already knew this. Um

Hunters keep. There you go

I have a favor now great. And I've got fuel

Yes

Ha ha, um Venderbight, what have the nearly dead been up to then

Echoes I can use that, I can use that to sleep

Leave

Continue, visit the University

Mm-hmm. Why not. Esoteric lore?

Oh gosh, there's so many things to do. Um

gained a page? Pages? Oh

Find secrets. Oh, yes. This is quite a tasty one.

Great great great great. Uh, mercurial to say the least. Um, razor-sharp enthusiasm

Do I want to give you these things?

Oh I do want to give you these things. You will buy these things, please take

For ten echoes?

Really?

Really

Really?

Really?

Really? Okay, that's a hundred echoes. Ah

We have something like that but not very like that

Interesting. I have some ideas about suitable fees. Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice

Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice

Okay, um carouse. Carouse? Carouse: you might run into trouble or romance

That's ten echoes, and I don't have a child

Okay

Sure, Carouse.

Lowers terror though, it lowers terror

New recruit oh

um

Oh, I don't, no I can't okay

Lodgings, sleep.

And we'll see how much that reduces. One!

This is gonna be race against terror, great, um heal a wound, I didn't have a wound, but I do have a restful night now

Great the rats keep you awake of nights with their muttering and skirmishing, but the bed is warm and the door has a lock

Great

We sh- we should probably leave this here before we set out again

did not do much but

Good game. Good game. Good game. We should keep playing this we should um

We should definitely keep playing this

Yeah, yeah, I'll see you tomorrow yeah
