Saul Martinez spent six days

at a border patrol detention center in 2014,

after a month-long trek from El Salvador.

He was part of the surge of children

who arrived at the southern border alone,

mostly from Central America.

And back then, like now, the government wrestled

with how to handle thousands of children caught up

in the immigration system.

"We now have an actual humanitarian crisis on the border

that only underscores the need to drop the politics

and fix our immigration system once and for all."

Images like these led to public outcry

on the treatment of vulnerable children.

But he did tell his story when he testified

before members of Congress.

The panel wanted to hear why he had come.

He wanted to tell them what had happened

once he arrived.

He remembers the rooms being filled

with children and mothers waiting

for their names to be called.

After six days, he was flown to a shelter in Miami,

run by a separate government agency.

He says it was very comfortable.

And on Mother's Day, he was finally reunited

with his mother.

Four years later, Saul has a green card,

a job and one year left of high school.

And there is a new crisis unfolding

at the southern border.

But for kids like Saul, it feels like history is repeating itself.

mean that to me is like a dead giveaway I'm not sure why it took so long for

this video to surface maybe I'm just behind and other people saw it first but

character also the Instagram accounts underscore Taytay underscore Swift

posted this photo a few days ago I'm not exactly sure where this photo came from

but here's what it says there were warnings on the stadium

indicating that this concert was being recorded for audiovisual purposes

possibly for a music video or tour documentary for the second time and not

only that's yesterday the Instagram account swiftest --ax posted some photos

showing that they are currently filming inside of Taylor Swift's New York City

apartment here's the photo proof of her entire street being filled with trailers

and filming equipment this is all very exciting stuff people we all know how

amazing the 1989 World Tour live documentary was that was just an

incredible documentary that made so many people around the world jealous if they

didn't go the 1989 World Tour myself included and since this reputation

stadium tour has been so record-breaking and one-of-a-kind and absolutely

flawless it only makes sense that Taylor Swift would want to document this entire

tour as well I wonder what they're filming inside of her apartment I'm sure

that she has built music studios and recording areas in there I wonderful see

like I'm actually sure of it that we'll see a little interview with Joe because

the entire album is inspired by Joe and so maybe that's how they're going to

persuade people to purchase it or to join Apple music or Direct TV now you

know that she's always partnering with those types of companies in order for

people to view the video so I'm just stoked to see what it's all about

another clue for me recently that kind of made me like start to do this

research was when the Taylor Swift YouTube channel released a very high

quality video of her special guest performance in London on 6 22 hopefully

you all know this by now that Taylor Swift sat down at the piano for what was

supposed to be her solo song moments where she performs her mash-up of New

Year's Day and long live she began to sing the song Angels by Robbie Williams

now this a hugely iconic song in the UK in the US

and other parts of the world as well but especially for the UK this is one of the

most popular songs of all time well after she's saying the first like

two lines guess who shot up from the stage none other than Robbie Williams

himself she's been getting back on the special guest train just a little bit

obviously not as much as 1989 but I think that it's been a really good

balance so far she also brought out Niall Horan in London as well which is

amazing absolutely love him you know it's interesting I was thinking about I

wonder if they wanted to get a few tour dates down under their belt before they

started recording um I didn't remember seeing any type of huge camera crew at

the Rose Bowl God now that I think about it I mean think about that footage you

know the huge screen in the background that we see the close-up of Taylor Swift

and her team on I mean they're really there were some huge camera cranes there

god I like totally forgot about that until just now

so that'd be very interesting if every single show was recorded I feel like god

I'm going back on everything that I just said to you I feel like they probably

would record every single show in case there was something absolutely amazing

and different that happened at one of the particular shows that they want to

showcase in the documentary Oh Manon comment down below and let me know if

you remember any huge camera crews at your show because that's just oh that's

so exciting you guys we're all part of it we're a part of reputation tour not

only for the one two three let's go part but for every other part of it and for

being a part of this tour documentary that's going to be so very exciting ooh

I can't wait for that I wish like all the Swifties around the world can like

that's just so cool I'm very excited to see when they'll announce it um it's

also been highly speculated that a new music video is coming out I've been

hearing a tons of rumors about getaway car being the next music video and I

also been hearing a fair share not a ton but a fair share of rumors about I did

something bad being the next music video I don't know you tell me what you think

The Latin culture, there are a lot of positive things,

in the Columbian culture.

And I think that that stereotype is changing a lot

because we're taking the Colombian and the Latin flag

around the world with art, with soccer,

with a lot of sports.

So I would say that that stereotype is fake, is wrong.

But LOL, joke was on us, because apparently, they weren't dating and were strictly *just friends*.

And then we've been seeing Baldwin acting ~flirty~ with pal Justin Bieber, yet offering no real concrete confirmation as to whether or not the two of them were becoming an item.

You're killing us, Hailey! We don't know what to believe! But now, Hailey Baldwin deleted Shawn Mendes photos from her Instagram, sparking many fans to wonder whether this is confirmation that they were at one point an item — and whether or not Justin Bieber was the driving force behind clearing away photos of Shawn Mendes or not.

Because, ya know, jealousy.

Just to set the record straight, Hailey Baldwin and Shawn Mendes have both spoken publicly about the status of their relationship — which is the fact that there wasn't ever one.

In an interview with the United Kingdom's Sunday Times, Baldwin spoke candidly about her relationship with Mendes, and confirmed that, despite how "lovely" Mendes is, the pair were not dating.

She said:.

We hang out and he's super-lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman.

But I am single.

The dating pool is small.

It's rare to find somebody that has the same ideas and morals as me.

I have found people like that before, though, which is refreshing.

And, in an interview with E! News, Mendes candidly talked about his experience at the Met Gala with Baldwin , but confirmed that he is very much a single man.

WHY INDIA IS BUYING RUSSIAN S 400 INSTEAD OF AMERICA'S PATRIOT PAC 3 ? - Duration: 6:59.

India has been in the market for acquiring a long-range air defense system.

The idea was to have Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) near the border to counter Pakistani

and Chinese aircraft and cruise missiles.

According to reports, India has decided to acquire 5 regiments of Russian-made S-400

Triumf advanced Air Defense Systems and the price has now been finalized.

Currently, Indian and Russian side are working to prevent American sanctions on India under

Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) for buying Russian

weapons platform.

CAATSA has been deployed against Russia by the U.S in August 2017 for probable interference

in the 2016 presidential election process.

of U.S sanctions instead of AMERICA'S PATRIOT PAC 3

Let's get started.

The American Patriot Missile System is manufactured by Raytheon.

It entered service in1981.

Patriot systems have been sold to many countries like the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Japan,

Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait to name a few.

Russia's S 400 is designed by Almaz Central Design Bureau as an upgrade of the S-300 family.

It entered into service in 2007.

The system has been sold to China, and Turkey is also negotiating a deal apart from India's

commitment to acquire it.

The radar is the eye of an air defense system and is used to detect and track targets.

The AN/MPQ-65 Radar in Patriot Pac 3 is a passive electronically scanned array radar.

It is equipped with IFF (Identification friend or foe) and electronic counter-countermeasure

to resist jamming.

The radar has a range of around 160 km.

S 400 uses multiple radars depending on threat perception.

The primary one is either the 91N6E Big Bird Acquisition and Battle Management Radar or

92N6E Grave Stone Multimode Engagement Radar These have a range of around 600 km.

The main radar is complimented by target acquisition radars like 67N6 Gamma De and 9N6 Protivnik

Ge radars in L band, Nebo SVU in the Very High-Frequency band and Nebo m & Zebu M in

multiband.

Nebo SVU & Zebu M have claimed capability against stealth aircraft.

The S 400 is equipped with radar having significantly more reach than Patriot and has greater versatility.

This means when India has the system installed in the border region it can even monitor the

rivals airspace to an extent, giving it a tactical advantage.

Patriot Pac 3 introduced the new MIM-104F missile, which is also referred to as the

PAC-3 missile.

It has reduced size compared to previous Patriot missiles and is more maneuverable.

The missile uses hit to kill strategy though it has small high fragmentation warhead to

enhance the kill probability.

For aerial targets, like aircraft & drones, Patriot MIM-104F missile has engagement range

of 160 km whereas for ballistic missile it has a range of about 30 km.

S 400 deploys multiple missiles to cover its full strike envelope.

1. Very-long-range 40N6 (400 km)

2. Long-range 48N6 (250 km)

3. Medium-range 9M96E2 (120 km)

4. Short-range 9M96E (40 km)

For aerial targets like aircraft & drones, S 400 missile has maximum engagement range

of 400 km whereas for ballistic missile it has a range of about 60 km.

S 400 provides better long-range interception capability and hence its kill zone will be

much bigger.

The maximum speed of targets for successful elimination is up to Mach 6.5 or 2,200 m/sec

for Patriot and Mach 14 or 4,800 m/sec for S 400.

So, S 400 can take down targets that the Patriot cannot handle.

This is very important as Chas has made some progress in hypersonic missile technology.

The deployment time for Patriot is 30 min whereas its 5 min for S 400.

This means military commanders will find S 400 to more agile.

The launch angle of Patriot's missile is 38 degree whereas for S 400 its 90 degrees.

The vertical launch enables missiles of S 400 to have seamless 360-degree target envelop.

As evident, S 400 has advantages in some critical operational parameters making it a more potent system.

Major defense deals are often finalized based not only on the technical specification of

the platform but also taking in consideration of geopolitical situations.

Many times weapons with better capability lose out because a country may prefer to have

a weapon of slightly lesser quality if it is being delivered by a preferred nation.

Preference comes from many aspects like if the two nations have defense pacts, past experiences,

and alignment of interests.

In India's case, Russia has been a long-term ally and relation with America has been getting

stronger in the last few years.

India has defense ties with both nations.

Keeping in view, India has no real incentive at the geopolitical level to go with either

Russia or America, the decision has been purely on the basis of technical capabilities.

Anthony Joshua is "afraid" to fight Deontay Wilder, says fellow heavyweight Tyson Fury, but he thinks the bout will happen at some stage.

Britain's Joshua has been ordered by the WBA to face Russia's Alexander Povetkin, delaying a potential unification fight with American Wilder. The WBC champion called Joshua - who also holds the IBF and WBO belts - and his promoter Eddie Hearn "cowards".

"Wilder is all wrong for Joshua and Eddie Hearn knows that," said Fury. Any bout between Joshua, 28, and Wilder, 32, would see the winner become the first man in history to hold all four heavyweight world titles.

Hearn has previously said there was always the risk of either the WBA, IBF or WBO forcing Joshua to face one of their mandatory challengers.

He also claims to have sent a contract to Wilder's team last week and on Tuesday said his fighter was "frustrated" over delays in agreeing a deal with Wilder.

Former world heavyweight champion Fury, who held the IBF, WBA and WBO titles, made his comeback after a 32-month absence earlier this month. The 29-year-old Briton will fight again on 18 August and says he is "preparing" to face Joshua and Wilder.

"Hearn wants Joshua to get a few more fights in before he gets chinned by Wilder," Fury said in a post on Instagram.

"I think it will happen, but Joshua will have to have a couple of more fights to make a few quid while he can and then he will do the fight.

was inspired to write "This Is (Not) L.A."

because, until I moved here in 1998,

I thought Los Angeles was all of the cliches that a lot of people believe. I grew up in Northern

California, and at least in the 1970s and '80s the thinking about Southern California

was that Southern Californians were silly and materialistic and dumb, and then I moved to New York City,

which, after the bay area, is the place that seems to have the biggest problem with Los Angeles and

we thought ourselves

infinitely superior to the second biggest city in the U.S.

When I had the opportunity to start visiting a different Los Angeles —when my some of my friends lived here in my 20s— and

I started to get to know some Hollywood historians, Los Angeles Urbanists.

I edited a book on Los Angeles urbanism. I started to see a really different kind of Los Angeles: this

incredibly vibrant, dynamic,

driven, ambitious

place that was filled with smart people

doing great things, and all kinds of industries —not just entertainment.

In fact, entertainment is a pretty small portion of the overall Los Angeles economy, not to mention that it's

surrounded by natural beauty —

far more accessible in a lot of ways than the Bay Area, and very much more accessible than

natural beauty from New York City. The mountains — right here to hike within, you know,

20 to 30 minutes; the ocean, the beaches,

Griffith Park.

"This Is (Not) L.A." is divided into 18 myths that we debunk about Los Angeles,

and there are also eight spotlights,

that we focused on specific topics.

When I was researching this book, and working with my co-author Kate Sullivan,

there were a lot of things that we came across that —even though we fancied ourselves real

aficionados of Los Angeles—that we didn't know before researching the book. It is kind of an insider's city:

you don't walk out your door and experience the city like you do in cities along the European model—

like New York, like San Francisco — where things feel more dense and happening and the buildings are exactly where you expect them to be.

Instead, with Los Angeles, you kind of need to know your way around to find these amazing

pockets and places of interest and to meet a diversity of people who are doing all kinds of different things.

The problem extends far beyond beer: Carbon dioxide (CO2) is also used in soda and meat production, as well as food packaging, cooling and storage. While it might sound strange, the carbon dioxide shortage has its roots in the fertilizer industry.

The carbon dioxide that makes beer and soda fizzy is a byproduct of ammonia produced for use in fertilizer. Several major ammonia plants in Europe have closed for maintenance, leading to a shortage of carbon dioxide.

Coca Cola (KO) European Partners, which handles bottling for the soda company in Europe, said the shortage has forced it to pause some production lines for short periods of time. However, it said that supplies to customers have not been reduced.

Carbon dioxide is often used to stun animals like chickens and pigs before slaughter. Some producers have been forced to use alternative methods, such as electrical stunning. But they warn that the emergency methods are not sustainable over the long term.

"If birds cannot be stunned, then they cannot be slaughtered. an inability to slaughter would mean birds remaining on the farm, [where] their welfare would have to be carefully managed," said Shraddha Kaul, the public affairs manager at British Poultry Council.

"Further impact may be on hatching of chicks with no farms to go to," she added. Pumping carbon dioxide into food packaging can help keep items fresh for longer and slow the growth of bacteria.

Kaul said some meat producers have chosen to use their limited carbon dioxide supplies for stunning, and not packaging. Packaging without carbon dioxide reduces the shelf life of meat by at least a day. Carbon dioxide is also used to package salads.

When pressurized or frozen, carbon dioxide becomes solid. The resulting substance is commonly known as "dry ice.".

Dry ice is often used in food transportation because it changes directly from a solid to a gas when the pressure drops or temperature rises, leaving no residue liquid.

UK online supermarket Ocado (OCDGF) has warned customers that the carbon dioxide shortage is "limiting its ability to deliver frozen food.
