Bryston SP4 Surround Processor for Home Theaters Explained by Moon-Audio.com - Duration: 12:02.
hey this is Drew with Moon Audio and we're really excited today to have gary dayton
from bryston and we're here to talk about a fantastic new pre-pro processor
for your home theater the SP 4 I've been waiting a long time for a new processor
that really had the configurations that I needed from my home theater I'm still
using the Denon upa-1c HDI it's a honker big massive chassis a little bit
taller than the sp4 weighs a million pounds and it's the only processor at
the time that had at least two but actually has three subwoofer outputs so
that I can really get a good configuration on my home theater in the
way I want it to sound the bad news about it is it's dated it doesn't have
Dolby Atmos and you know I need to get with new technology so finally somebody
has come out with something very special and I'm very excited about to replace
out with and we're gonna be selling it at Moon Audio starting when starting at
the end of the month into the month and what month is this
this is May so Gary's going to tell us a little bit about the functionality then
we're going to turn it around and look at more of the technical inputs and
outputs and all the crazy things you can do with it so tell us about it Carrie
alright so Bryson is very pleased to introduce the new SP 4 this is a fully
functional surround sound immersive surround sound processor for high-end
home theaters the unit features 16 fully configurable outputs a seven by two HDMI
switch you can take seven HDMI ends to HDMI outs it supports the full range of
dolby digital DTS at most DTS X and even or 3d surround codecs you can mix legacy
sources to take full advantage of your immersive surround loudspeaker layout it
can also process to channel sources in either their native mode or a nut mix it
doubles as not only a very high quality surround processor but also an extremely
good quality to channel preamp as well one of the nice things about the SP 4 is
that not everybody has 16 channel layout and
home theater but any unused channels can be routed to either a second zone or you
can build a special headphone out zone using the sphere audio codec to get
surround virtualization and you're in your headphone unit or you can route
your sources to distribute audio systems throughout the home regardless of how
you use the sp4 there's always a way to take full advantage of all 16 outputs on
the back plus the down mix channels to build your entire home entertainment
system around this unit so we'll take a look at the back part of the SP 4 where
there's just a plethora of inputs and outputs and and first we're going to
talk about the video aspect yeah so the the SP 4 has a full suite of inputs and
outputs that are fully configurable so regardless of how your theater is
configured you can find a way to use the SP 4 in a very intuitive and a high
performance way taking a look first at the HDMI inputs we have seven inputs and
two outputs this HDMI switch can accept a wide variety of formats it can process
at up to 600 megahertz so you get full HD are 4k for the inputs out of the box
run at hdcp 2.2 HDMI 2.0 speeds the other three can be enabled to run the
that speed as well through software and then the two outputs let you configure
two different monitors these are in parallel so maybe you want to have one
go to a projector and another go to a television but this is a this is a
modern software upgradeable HDMI sleeve so that has new additions of HDMI come
out we should be able to issue firmware updates to keep your SP for current for
quite a long time and essentially it's all passed through so you don't have to
worry about any issues with formats not being taken care of this so you can do
your 3d or 4k whatever it's going to pass through and whatever your blu-ray
DVD Xbox etc is doing it's going to push it through no matter what
and a great other feature with the dual outputs as you can do
picture and picture with your projector so you can watch two sports games at
once so that's very nice so tell us about the the audio outputs that's going
to go to all of our amplifiers so take note first of the fact that of these 16
channel outputs not a single one is labeled for a specific speaker location
they're simply labeled 1 through 16 instead of left front right front Center
etc that's because each one of these fully balanced analog outputs is
configurable to any loudspeaker location in your theater or in another zone in
addition to the 16 balanced outputs we have a pair of dedicated down mix
outputs so these down mix outputs will always process 2.0 down mix of whatever
surround program you're running and you can assign those to either run to the
distributed audio system in your home or you might decide to add the optional
Sphere audio license which is an incredibly believable headphone
virtualizer forced surround maybe you're down mix and headphone system is often 2
bedrooms so you can start the movie in your cinema finish up in the bedroom
with a bryceton BHA one and a headphone ready very nice very nice and what I'm
really excited as I alluded to earlier is now I can go from 3 subwoofers before
individually configured subwoofers in my home theater which I've wanted to do for
a very long time yeah everybody knows that LFE base is mono base but with the
bryceton SP 4 you can configure as many of these outputs to process subwoofers
as you'd like even though the signal is mono going into each sub every sub can
have its own level and EQ curve applied and so I'm assuming we can do DSP
correction for every speaker individually every speaker individually
yeah every channel has its own 10 band parametric equalizer and so taking care
of that boom in the room the unwanted anomalies that are happening from your
subwoofer if you've only got one LFE output you're really somewhat screwed so
now I can configure each one based on its location and the geometry of the
room to take care of too much boom and get it tighter and more controlled yeah
speaking of subwoofers you can also integrate those subs with the main
speakers through a very intelligent crossover system naturally you can set
the crossover point between the sub and the main speaker and in each one of
these channel occasions but you can also set separate crossover points
and slopes for the high pass and low pass in addition to delay so you can
always make sure you've got excellent phase addition and very linear response
to through the subwoofers and then I see we've got some RCA outputs and inputs
can you go over those for us right so in addition to the HDMI switch we also
offer legacy sources we have three Toslink and three coaxial digital inputs
as well as eight RCA inputs so looking first at the digital inputs this is a
great way to support legacy sources maybe a DVD player maybe a CD player
music server etc you these spin if receivers will take up to 192 24 digital
audio the RCA input is particularly configurable this in software can be
configured to support either 7.1 Audio maybe through an OPA or Universal disc
player if you want to listen to multi-channel audio discs and surround
or they can be configured as four pairs for stereo input pairs it also be
convenient for your older si CD players that had the multiple music audio format
outputs so that would be good for that and then if you could tell us about the
control connectors as well yeah this is where the SP 4 really shines there's a
lot of very difficult to use at most processors on the market that almost
require an advanced degree to set up and use
but barrestins SP 4 has really put quite a bit of focus on user interface and for
setup and control this means operating the SP floor through a dedicated
bryceton web interface or through an iOS app so when your SP 4 is connected to
your local network through Ethernet 100 megabits per second Ethernet connection
you can log into this from your iPad computer or mobile phone etc and go
through a series of very intuitive menus to do a setup process within that setup
process you can connect a microphone such as our our optional model here to
do automatic room calibration or take measurements you can also configure
trigger outputs so that based on what source you're listening to or what
profile you have currently enabled different products in your home theater
rack are turned on and off so using the SP 4 has the control up for your
makes an awful lot of sense based on some areas and profiles you set up you
can always have just the right gear on or off and perfectly configured and then
I see that we've got a couple of panels I guess for upgrades in the future what
do you think are some potential options for those right yeah for a processor of
this scale in this price it's very important that it stays current in your
home theater for a very long time we have two separate slots that will accept
upgrade modules right out of the gate we offer a 16 channel RCA output that can
be inserted into this slot here this will give you the opportunities to
either run 16 extra channels in your existing theater if you have a
particularly large room or you can assign these channels separately to feed
other zones other possibilities for modules in the future include a full
bypass analog section which would duplicate the precision of Bryson's
analog preamplifiers we may also do a dark section that
includes USB and spit of input but really the possibilities are endless the
digital audio and DSP engine that's built into the SP 4 has lots of extra
Headroom so that as customers come to us with specific requests we can consider
new features in the future so tell me a little bit about all the calibration
software and kits and whatnot what are the different options that customers
might want together yeah so there are several different options the SP 4 can
be configured automatically with a dirac live system with the optional direct
live kid you can place a microphone in the
theater let the SP 4 run a full suite of measurements you know with your your
laptop in the microphone and automatically program the SP 4 to have
flat response in your room you can save that calibration as a profile and make
modifications to the profile or duplicate the profile for different
listening scenarios if you choose not to purchase the dirac Live kit you can also
manually go in measure each channels response you can build groups to measure
the response of speakers and subwoofers put together and configure just the
right EQ on a per channel basis using your ears or the microphone or a
combination of the two to achieve excellent response regardless of
your home configuration
so what that means is essentially now you guys that are trying
to have two systems in one a two channel and a home theater it's very it's been
very complicated in the past to try and get both to sound right in the same room
it sounds like this tool really makes it flexible for creating a profile for
audio so when you want to listen to music it doesn't have the same sort of
boom if you will to the that you had with your theater it'll be more tight
controlled and audiophile like if you will so that's really exciting because
now even get rid of some extra gear that I've got in my theater and just set it
up as a dedicated theater that can do two channel as well and pull out my two
Channel preamp that'd be nice yeah it's worth noting that those profiles are
very very configurable in addition to different eq's that that
you can apply to the same speaker layout in one room you can also build profiles
that will let only the two front left and right speakers run in full range for
your music listening for instance but you might want to enable subwoofers for
your movie listening so use these profiles wisely build certain listening
scenarios for yourself and make listening to music and movies in the
same room an absolutely joy and pleasure very exciting well we'll have all the
information on this product on our website as well as PDFs and setup guides
and so forth in the future as they become available
we're really excited can't wait to start shipping these out to you guys thank you

Sean Spicer Returns With TV Show No One Asked For - Duration: 2:56.
There's been a lot of talk recently, obviously, about Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the current
White House Press Secretary, but what about Sean Spicer, the buy she replaced?
Whatever happened to him?
Well, after several months of trying to find a new job, only to be rejected by everybody
who he applied with, Sean Spicer is finally, maybe, coming back to television.
Right now, Sean Spicer is currently working with a production group to develop a talk
show.
It's going to be called Sean Spicer's Common Ground.
They're looking to film a pilot sometime in the next month, and then they're going to
start shopping it around to networks.
There's not a lot of information available out there about this, but the New York Times
did talk about the fact that Spicer has said he wants to talk about politics, but also
get into things like sports and culture and maybe even marriages.
Basically, Sean Spicer wants to become, I guess, kind of like a Maury Povich mixed with
a Keith Oberman, maybe.
I don't quite understand exactly what he's going for here.
That seems like a broad range of topics for a talk show, but I can go ahead and tell you
this: Nobody wanted this show.
Nobody wants to watch Sean Spicer on television.
And how do we know that?
Because he's already been rejected from all of the other networks including Fox News.
When he left the White House, he attempted to get a job as a contributor on Fox News,
and they said, "Thanks, but no thanks."
Same thing with CNN.
Nobody wanted to hire Sean Spicer because, just like Sarah Huckabee Sanders after him,
Sean Spicer did nothing but lie to the American public, and he did so in a very combative
way that made everybody hate him.
Also, you can't discount the fact that SNL had quite a fun time making fun of Sean Spicer
on a near weekly basis, and that further hurt his reputation, but nothing hurt him more
than the damage he did to his own credibility, like that one time when he was hiding in the
bushes because he didn't want to speak to reporters.
My advice, Sean, is that nobody wants to see this show.
Nobody wants to pick it up.
Nobody wants to run it, and nobody wants to watch it.
Maybe you need to go find some bushes to go hide in for another few months, until the
public might be willing to accept you back onto their TV screens.
But until then, we've got enough to deal with, with the former people of the Trump administration
going on TV and lying to us on a daily basis, so we don't need you added to that list of
voices.

Kendall Jenner, 22, celebrated Memorial Day 2018 in a blue and red thick striped bikini top from Solid & Striped.
The patriotic swimsuit made the iconic pattern feel new again by opting for a very wide stripe, and by pairing the top with a high-cut bottom.
Hip cleavage, anyone?.
Taylor Swift, 28, also took on the trend at her Fourth of July party in 2016 – and she enlisted the help of BFFs Gigi Hadid, 23, and Cara Delevingne, 25, to do it! While goofing around in an inflatable slide and hanging out on the Rhode Island coast, the threesome matched their festival red, white and blue striped swimsuits.
Taylor and Gigi donned the vertical print on their one-pieces, while Cara decided to wear a bikini in a horizontal version of the same pattern.
Of course, the twinning moment wasn't complete without a cute pic of the three friends posing together shared to Old Taylor's Instagram.
Still not convinced that you should be rocking a striped swimsuit while hitting up the shore this summer? Then get clicking through the gallery above to see how celebs like Rihanna, Ashley Graham, and Demi Lovato have styled their stripes.
I mean, if RiRi's sporting the trend, you know it's a good look.

A B C …
My story begins…
See how it spins through the letters
Of the alphabet..
A A Ants
In an aeroplane
Ate all the apples Awesome apples!
A few fell on a B B Baboon
Biting bananas
When a bird with a bee on its beak
Buzzed its way
Into a bubble
That burst upon a C C Cat
Who caught a cold
And curled in a corner
Under a chair in a car..
That crossed by the D D Duck pond
Duckling dolphins, Dogs and dolls
All danced to the drum that dingle-dangled
On the ears of an E E Elephant
Who eyed the eagle
On an engine,
Eating an egg
When its feather fell on the F F Fish.
That flocked to the frog
Feasting on fruit that a fox took
And ran to a G G Goat
Who gobbled up grapes and a giraffe
Who played guitar in a garage
Near an H H House
With a hen,
With a hat on its head and a hovering
I I Insect On a toy ice-cream
That an infant held and looked at a J J Jeep
With a juggler, a jester, and a jaguar from the jungle
Who jumped to meet the K K King
With a kettle
And a kite that a kitten took
And limped to an L L Lamb
Lying below a lamp
With a lark who made music for an M M Man
Munching mango..
With his morning milk,
When a mouse saw a monkey
And hid in a N N Nest
Full of nuts until night
When an O O Owl
Opened eyes and hooted, 'oooo'
And a P P Parrot
Who plucked a pear
To put in the porridge in the pot
And Peeked at a Q Q Queen
In a queue at a quilt shop where a quail
Quit through the door
And ran after R R Rabbit
Who ran after a Rooster
Who ran round and round a red-rose bush
In a garden,
Where school kids played on the S S Swing
And the slide and the see-saw
Singing songs with their T T Teacher
Who told them a tale of ten tall princes
From a tree-top town under the U U U Umbrella
They kept utensils in an urn.
Their uncle played the ukulele on a V V Van
Full of viloins and vases Full of violets
That blew in the W W Wind
On to a wet white wagon
With its wheels on a window, wide open
Where a wolf sat playing an X X Xylophone
Near a X-mas tree
With a Y Y Yo-yo
With wound yarn and a toy yacht,
And a toy yak
Like the one in the Z Z Zoo
Near the zebra
That zig-zagged with a zucchini in his mouth.
X Y Z…

Or the shape of a star
On a Christmas night sky
Have you seen a diamond
In a kite flying in the sky?
Or a leaf that looks like a heart,
On the tree, so high?
Would you like a sandwich,
In the shape of a triangle?

I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee,
I'm going to Louisiana,
My true love for to see.
It rained all night the day I left,
the weather was so dry
The sun so hot I froze to death,
Susanna, don't you cry.
Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me,
For I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee.
I had a dream the other night,
when everything was still;
I thought I saw Susanna dear,
a coming down the hill.
A buckwheat cake was in her mouth,
A tear was in her eye,
Says I'm coming from the south,
Susanna, don't you cry.
Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me,
For I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee.
I soon will be in New Orleans,
and then I'll look around,
And when I find Susanna,
I'll fall upon the ground.
But if I do not find her,
then I will surely die,
And when I'm dead and buried,
Oh, Susanna, don't you cry.
Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me,
For I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee.
Oh! Susanna, don't you cry for me,
For I come from Alabama with my banjo on my knee.

Second time's the charm for rocky Argentina-IMF relationship - Duration: 8:09.
Second time's the charm for rocky Argentina-IMF relationship
Last Wednesday, the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Executive Board approved a three-year stand-by arrangement (SBA) for Argentina amounting to $50 billion, or 1,100 percent of the country's quota.
This time, however, Argentina has come to its doorstep with a coherent reform package that the government was already in the process of implementing.
It not only lends credibility and ownership to the deal, but crucially, it provides the political legitimacy that has always been lacking in IMF-Argentina relations.
This is a different Argentina dealing with a different IMF.
Typically, SBAs are limited to 475 percent of a country's IMF quota for the duration of the program — high access such as that of Argentina's newly minted agreement is only granted when specific conditions are met, and the board feels confident that Argentina will meet the terms of the arrangement, as well as be able to repay the loan.
Quick review: How did Argentina find itself again at the fund's doorstep? Argentina has a long and troubled history with the international organization, most notably exemplified by the fallout from the 2001 financial crisis, which led to a lengthy stand-off between the government and the IMF.
Prior to the current SBA, Argentina had not requested a fund program in nearly two decades.
The Macri administration inherited severe economic challenges from its predecessor, Cristina Kirchner.
When Mauricio Macri came into office in 2015, inflation was well above 25 percent, and a number of ill-devised subsidies had pushed the fiscal deficit to about 6 percent of GDP.
Given the severity of Argentina's problems, the new administration decided on a "gradualist" approach to economic adjustment, which meant adopting corrective measures over the course of several years while holding social spending steady and avoiding harsh measures that might increase the risk of recession.
The evaluation at the time, including by market participants, was that gradualism was the only politically viable option in a country that had seen much social unrest over the failure of past economic programs.
This said, there was a fundamental issue within Macri's economic policies: While the central bank adopted contractionary monetary policy to bring down inflation rapidly, the executive, concerned with social protections, was much less conservative on the fiscal side, allowing sizable deficits that were funded through external debt issuance, including the famous 100-year bond issued in 2017.
Argentina's positive tide turned in April, when skittish investors, fearful of the global repercussions of a potential U.S.-China trade war combined with expansionary fiscal policy in the United States likely raising U.S.
inflation and interest rates, started to pull their money out of emerging markets.
Soon, Argentina's underlying macroeconomic challenges came to the fore, accelerating the run on the peso.
Attempts by the central bank to stem currency pressure proved unsuccessful, and ultimately the government was forced to turn to the fund for financial support.
The recently approved program tries to address many issues that contributed to failure in producing the right amount of adjustment in the past.
On one hand, the program front-loads a significant amount of financial support: $15 billion, or 333 percent of Argentina's quota, was made immediately available, contrasting with past programs when disbursements were directly tied with having achieved agreed targets.
The Macri government has insisted that it does not intend to draw on the remaining funds, thus treating the remainder of the arrangement as "precautionary," i.
, as a credit line that they could draw upon if needed at a future date.
On the other hand, recognizing the political sensitivity of a fund program with Argentina, the IMF has placed great emphasis on protecting the more vulnerable segments of the population by supporting well-designed social programs and spending.
Previous IMF programs with Argentina largely ignored the effects of fiscal consolidation on social spending and the inevitable political backlash that they ultimately faced.
Most importantly, however, is the fact that this time Argentina already had its own adjustment plan, rather than having to accept one devised by the IMF.
That plan, prior to the turbulence that led Argentina to seek financial support, had received wide praise and support from the international community, notably from the IMF itself.
It is hard to exaggerate how important — and unlike past programs — it is to have the adjustment and reform package designed by the country authorities themselves.
Looking ahead, Argentina faces significant challenges.
President Macri has endured substantial criticism following his decision to request IMF assistance.
It is also noteworthy that he is up for re-election in 2019, and his political fortunes may lie in the success of the current program.
But, when all is said and done, Argentina and the IMF in the 21st century have a much better chance of getting it right than they ever did during much of the latter half of the 20th century.
Let that be a cause for hope.

Josh Brolin Says He's 'Appropriately Nervous' About Becoming a Dad for a 3rd Time
The 50-year-old actor couldn't contain his excitement when talking to ET's Carly Steel about being a dad for a third time.
"I'm always excited about kids. I prefer being around kids. You know, they have the imagination.
They're fun," Brolin said while at the premiere of his latest film, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, on Tuesday.
"I've heard other people be like, 'Kid's sitting there, he's staring at nothing, he's slobbering, like, what's the point?' The point is to sit there and slobber with him. That's the point.".
Brolin -- who announced that wife Kathryn Boyd, 30, was expecting back in May -- also noted that he and the mom-to-be are "appropriately nervous" about becoming parents together but are also "really looking forward to it.
" This is Boyd's first child, while Brolin has two grown children, Eden, 24, and Trevor, 30, with first wife Alice Adair.
The Deadpool 2 star revealed who else is looking forward to the baby — his step-mom, Barbra Streisand.
"The kid has a great Jewish grandmother and she's appropriately manifesting like she should," Brolin said of Streisand who's married to his dad, James Brolin.
"She's into it, she calls every day, she follows the app.
It's amazing. It's amazing. Look, it could've been the opposite and it's not so we love that people are involved, family's involved, friends are involved. It's a good thing.".
As for his relationship with Boyd, whom he wed back in 2016, Brolin can only hope to emulate what his dad and Streisand have had for 20 years.
"You know, my dad, like myself, has been married before and for some reason this just clicked and it just made sense from the beginning," Brolin -- who was married to Adair and Diane Lane -- said of his father's previous marriages to Jan Smithers and Jane Cameron Agee.
"You never know, you have your fluctuations in a relationship and after 20 years, they're looking at us going, 'Can you believe it's 20 years? I can't believe it's 20 years. So, we hope the same for us.".
Now that his busy months are wrapping up — Brolin recently starred in Deadpool 2 and Avengers: Infinity War — the A-list actor is looking forward to a possible babymoon with his wife, but not before urging people to see his latest movie, Sicario: Day of the Soldado.
"It's one of those things that if you saw the first film, you're going to like the second film period. But it's a very different film.
It stands on its own. It's a very adventurous film. It's a very personal film. It's very intense," Brolin said of the sequel.
"I mean, if you like this kind of film, this is the film to see.
There's a lot of tent-pole movies coming out and you need this kind of film.
I think that's why they released it in the summer. It's a perfect time for this film.".

That person will be prosecuted for murder,' NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermont Shea told Pix 11 at the time
He kept his head down as he was taken from the precinct to court in a plaid shirt
Prosecutors allege the men went after Lesandro after mistaking him for a rival gang member who had been filmed having sex with one of the Trintarios' girlfriends on Snapchat

The mourners wept and lit candles in tribute to the teenager who will be buried on Wednesday

The Trintarios gang has developed a negative reputation for violence in the US.Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea said during Tuesday's press conference in New York that authorities 'will not tolerate thugs on the street of the Bronx, whether it's Trinitarios or any other gang
'The brutal nature of this crime, we will literally leave no stone unturned until we make sure that we will get justice, that we make sure that everyone involved in this incident are brought to justice
' In Paterson alone, the gang has been blamed for at least two violent incidents in the last three years
Last year, the gang allegedly started fights that led cops to shut down the city's Dominican festival early
In 2015, gang members were accused of stabbing and breaking bottles over a man they thought was a member of a rival group
The NYPD also released footage on Tuesday, showing a group of suspected gang members stabbing a 14-year-old in the median of the Bronx River Parkway earlier this month
That victim survived the incident, but remains in the hospital in critical condition after losing a kidney
His mother says the gang had been after her son since last y ear, when he broke up with a girl linked to the gang
A crowd at Monday's wake outside of R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home chanted 'Justice for Junior' and 'Close the Bodega Down' as others held a candle lit vigil outside the crime scene
'I want to say thank you to everyone. The police are doing a great job with the arrests and I hope that they continue to go to the end and find all of the people who were involved,' his mother told the crowd
Guzman-Feliz's family has called on members of their community to boycott the bodega where the attack took place
They believe the owners could have intervened. The bodega has remained closed since the attack last week
A GoFundMe campaign set up to raise money for the teen's funeral had raised more than $256,000 by Tuesday afternoon
Bronx-born rapper Cardi B also made a donation of $8,000 under her given name Belcalis Almanzar
The singer took to her Instagram page over the weekend to express anger over the senseless killing, writing in part: 'R

How Sage Intacct Solves Common Problems for Professional Service Firms - Duration: 3:33.
♪ [music] ♪
My name is Gary Volland. I'm an Account Executive with The
Resource Group. Most professional service firms are using five or six different
tools throughout the day to get their work done. So I'm talking about, you know,
a separate system for client billing, a separate system for practice management,
there may be a separate system for finance and accounting, as well as, you know,
you have this army of project managers, each one of them may be using a different
tool in terms of managing projects. And then last but not least,
is there has to be some way to manage staff utilization and forecast it
across the entire practice. What's really missing is an integrated
platform in which to handle your daily project management tasks.
The other thing that's missing, the big key, you know, the secret sauce that's
missing from this entire picture is data visibility. Until Sage Intacct came
along, there weren't very many products in the marketplace that could even handle
projects very well, and back to Sage Intacct, one of the main
characteristics or main virtues of that system that really do a lot for data
visibility is what we call the dimensional chart of accounts.
So, what I'm talking about here is that any data segment that a practice manager
thinks is important, not only for tactical purposes, but also for strategic purposes.
So, for example, it could be a line of service.
It could be demographic location. It could be the types of clients
that you serve. Sage Intacct positions you to track
those data segments transaction by transaction so you're never more than a
few mouse clicks away from a P&L statement to really focus on the information that
matters to you. And I think the, kind of, the magic behind Sage Intacct is that not
only does it feature robust capabilities around project and resource management,
client billing, project accounting, as I mentioned before, and not only does it
provide a dimensional chart of accounts, which really does a lot to unlock your
data visibility, but it does all this in a platform that is multi-tenant cloud,
which means you need no hardware other than an internet connection and a browser
to operate the software, nor do you need any reliance on your
IT department. You don't have to go through this process where, you know,
name, rank, and serial number and, you know, that kind of thing.
The voice on the other end of the phone is already going to know who you are,
how you operate, what your environment looks like. And so we just make it a
pleasant experience to continue to use the system and to continue to grow. You know,
for more information feel free to visit our website. We have a lot of content
there, by industry, as we have a lot of content dedicated
to professional service firms. And also, we recently
published an eBook describing the best practices
for selecting and adopting a new software system specifically for professional
service firms. So you may want to download that and take a look.
And last but not least, don't be shy, pick up the phone and give us a call.
We'd love to have a conversation with you to help set the stage.
