All right, here are the strategies and tips that you need to create useful content this year.

So, the first thing we're going to want to do when we create

content is to repurpose it. This means taking a video and writing a blog about

it, cutting that video into shorter videos that you can use on social media,

or taking away the audio and making a podcast. This way one piece of content

can become five very easily and be on different networks and different mediums.

Why we want to do this: it's because our customers are on different networks and

different mediums and they want to take in information in different ways.

So, this way you don't have to do a ton of work and you can get a ton of exposure.

Next, when it comes to creating content and finding topics, a lot of stuff is played out.

So, what we want to do to find new and exciting stuff is: look at the

conferences in your industry. See what the thought leaders are talking about,

what are they presenting about, because this is gonna provide a very, very unique

opportunity for you to hop on upcoming trends with your content.

These thought leaders often set the tone for the content that's coming in the next year,

or the year after words. So, when we take what they've created or what they're

talking about, latch onto it early and become a first mover. We're able to get

ahead of the game create, content that's relevant and will stay relevant for some time.

Alright, we all love stories. It is the reason that we binge Netflix, HBO,

wherever you watch TV. Now, businesses can capitalize on this as well. Not only does

it make it more entertaining for me if I check out your product, but for everyone

as well. And stats back this up. 55% of business professionals say they're more

likely to engage with content if it's telling a story. Let's take a real-life example.

A California wine magazine released two versions of their magazine:

one that only listed product. The second version that they release had the

product, and had the story of each vineyard on the other page. They actually

found that when they included the story of the vineyard the wine sold much

faster. Through telling these stories, people felt more connected to the wine.

It actually made them want to purchase. So, an anecdote around your product could

show relatability and actually push consumers to purchase your product.

Next, we need consistency and planning. There are too many brands out there that

post once every five months and see no traction when it comes to creating

content. However, brands that have a consistent plan are able to take that

story that we talked about, stretch it over a couple months and over multiple

pieces of content, and really establish that connection with their consumers.

On a side note, if you have an older piece of content that might fit your plan

today, go back freshen it up, add new statistics,

links, whatever it needs that'll make it relevant and fit in your plan this year.
