What Is The Most Dangerous Country On Earth? - Duration: 3:46.

The world, for all its beauty, can be a very dangerous place.

But have you ever wondered what the most dangerous country on earth is?

Hello, you are watching life's biggest questions, the channel that asks and occasionally answers,

the fundamental questions of life.

I'm your host charlotte dobre.

2018 has brought a lot of change to the world.

Europe used to be one of the most peaceful regions on the planet, as well as north America,

but both have become increasingly more dangerous.

26 of europes 36 countries have gotten much more dangerous, and the united states is the

most dangerous its been since the year 2012.

Africa has pretty much remained just as dangerous as it was several years ago, due to the regional

conflicts its experiencing.

The north Korean border used to be at the top of the list, but lately as you know its

become less volatile.

As of 2018,The most dangerous countries in the world undoubtedly exist within the middle

east and Africa.

Afghanistan is still pretty darn tense, especially for travellers/ the Us department of state

warns to stay away from Afghanistan due to high threats of crime, terrorism, civil unrest

and armed conflict.

Terrorist groups still attack populated places like transit hubs, public gatherings, tourist

locations and government buildings.

South Sudan is also very high on the list as well, armed conflicts plague the country,

theres a high threat of violent crime.

Shootings, carjackings, ambushes, assaults and robberies are a regular occurrence.

Kidnappings are extremely common in south sudan.

US Embassy staff only travel around in armed vehicles and are not allowed on the street

alone at any time.

And the number 1 most dangerous place on earth as of 2018, according to the global peace

index, is Syria.

It's the third year Syria has been found to be the least peaceful country on earth.

So why is this?

7 years ago, in 2011, Syria experienced a civilian rebellion against the dictatorship

of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad . It started as peaceful protests, but eventually it escalated

into a civil war that began in 2013.

The Islamic state once had a stronghold in Syria, and so many different groups were formed

to try and defeat the Islamic state.

But the problem is, now that the Islamic state has been defeated, all of these groups are

now trying to fight for control of the country.

This includes the Syrian government forces.

the anti government Syrian arab forces, which is the group that the united states has been

trying to help.

Kurdish forces, also against the Syrian government, also being helped by the united states.

But then the Turkish forces are involved because they are concerned about the kurds on the

other side of the border.

Iranian Hezbollah forces who are on the side of the Syrian government, Russian forces who

are allies with the Syrian government.

So there are 6 groups within Syria that are competing for control.

Then to top everything off, Israel and iran tensions are getting worse and there is a

chance that there might be a shooting war between them on the ground in Syria.

Basically the majority of the country has become one big war zone.

Full scale military operations exist throughout the country, in cities and in suburbs.

There is the threat of chemical weapons attacks, though the Russian and Syrian governments

have denied that any such attacks have taken place.

This war that started in 2011 is considered one of the most deadliest of the 20th century.

In the last 7 years, according to the united nations, around half a million people have

been killed.

That includes more than 20 thousand children and 13 thousand women.

Civillian deaths are a regular occurance in Syria.

The only way this war will end is likely with a political solution, where Assad is no longer

the leader.

And that is unfortunate because Damascus is considered to be a world heritage site.

Ancient ruins have been destroyed by attacks.

Though travel to Syria is extremely discouraged, if you must go there, do not go anywhere without

an armed guard.

Foreigners are especially vulnerable because they are under severe threat of kidnapping

from both sides of the conflict.

Syria is just one big mess right now, and there is no end in sight.

For all these reasons, Syria is the most dangerous country on earth.

What Is Probate & Why You Want To Avoid Probate Court - Duration: 3:49.

Hi everybody,

my name is Miranda Dressler

and I'm an attorney at the Law Offices

of Bridget Mackay in Petaluma,

California.

And today I want to talk to you a little

bit about probate.

What it is

and why people want to avoid it.

So most of the time when I have clients

come into my office to

get a trust done,

one of their main concerns

and one of the main reasons that they

think that they're getting a trust done

is to avoid probate

when they pass away.

But a lot of people have misconceptions

about what probate is.

And why sometimes it's necessary

and why it should be avoided.

So, I'm going to talk a little bit about that today.

Probate is a court process

that occurs when somebody passes

away.

And the main purpose of probate

is to change title to assets.

From the name of the person who's passed away

and into the name of

the rightful beneficiaries

or the people who are inheriting

those assets from

the deceased person.

And so in the probate process

the court is going to be responsible

for making sure several

things get done. If there

are any disputes

among beneficiaries

or anybody else, the court will resolve

those disputes.

The court will make sure that any

creditors of the deceased person

get paid.

All the assets of the

estate will be inventoried

and they will be appraised.

And then ultimately,

the court will distribute

those assets

and change title into the names

of the beneficiaries.

So,

there are two main reasons

why someone would want to avoid

having their estate go through this process

when they pass away. And

the two main reasons are because it's very

expensive

and it's very time consuming.

So in California the two

main expenses associated

with the probate are the attorney's

fees and the executor fees.

These fees are set by statute

- meaning you can't negotiate

with the attorney about them.

And they're going to be based on

a percentage of the

total value of the assets

in the estate.

And so what that ends up being

is, in general,

the attorney and executor fees are

going to cost between

three to five percent of the total value

of the assets of the estate.

And so for example let's say that

there's an estate worth one

million dollars that's going through probate.

The attorneys and executor fees alone

are going to be about $50,000.

You know, that's a big chunk.

And there's other fees associated

with the probate as well like publication

fees, bond fees,

appraisal

fees.

So, it can get very expensive.

And the other main reason to avoid

probate like I said it's very time

consuming.

In California,

a probate generally takes about 18

months to complete.

And that's if everything goes smoothly.

If there are issues

or disputes,

probates can be known to take years.

So

that is a little bit about probate,

why it should be

avoided.

If you have any further questions please

contact an experienced estate planning

attorney in your area.

Thank you.

Tax Season FAQs: What is the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)? - Duration: 1:15.

Hi, I'm Dirk.

I'm a tax expert with Intuit's TurboTax

and I'm here today to talk to you about the Earned Income Tax Credit.

What is the Earned Income Tax Credit?

It's a tax credit available for those who are low- and moderate-income families

and the benefit varies depending on whether you have children or not.

If you're eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit,

you may receive up to $6,431 in the year 2018.

The Earned Income Tax Credit increases, plateaus, and then begins to phase out as you earn more income.

If you earn enough income, you won't be eligible for it at all.

Also, some states have an Earned Income Tax Credit program

that would be in addition to the federal Earned Income Tax Credit.

So be sure to check if your state has this available.

While millions of households already claim this credit,

the IRS says that many who are eligible do not claim this credit.

Scaffolding 1 What is scaffolding - Duration: 3:10.

There's certain things students can do on their own without any assistance there are

certain things that at this point in time are completely out of reach the students in

the middle of proximal development scaffolding is any assistance students get which helps

them to work within that zone of proximal Development Center that pushing back the boundary

of what they can do unassisted example we might have a 10 year old student at this point

in time Nuclear Physics is just a little bit Out Of Reach for them but some of the basics

of Science and without the need of any additional help I'm in there is an angry ring between

the zone of proximal development but they can learn things and starts understand things

with a little bit of support from their environment scaffolding encompasses thinks the students

through themselves as well as interventions that teaches make so that first we might have

a student and use that book to help themselves understand some new piece of content that

using the environment in their own way to come to terms with the work with the new information

for the scaffolding is the interventions we make his teachers and this is why we stopped

him and offer that extra bit of support to help students do what they might do on their

own and it's for this reason that scaffolding is intimately tied up with differentiation

because women differentiating with thinking about how we can help different Learners to

access the work and very often used scaffolding activities going on we look out across the

classroom and we see that some of our students are going to need a lot of scaffolding need

a little bit spaps a question or suggestion to get them on the right path and some students

actually wouldn't need any support because they're able to use their own skills and ability

to access to learning maybe even to push themselves of course it might be that way with those

students for them some more challenging what is scaffolding or something different was

thinking the scaffolding is anything that we do have to teach you to help students access

the work to help them get to grips with it when they finding things difficult so it's

about stepping in making that intervention and screw doing that allowing students to

do more than they could do on their own Golden Nugget scaffolding is the various strategies

and techniques we used to help students go beyond what we can do on assisted

Jesus

What a premium game we paid for

Oh boy

Like son of a b*tch

I paid three times

But people are missing the point

None of that is what this game is about

It is the experience of exploration

What a roundabout way to get here

Christ

every early access Steam game

I've contracted swamp itch from laying in this

Fantastic

It's what I get for trying to do the right thing

get rested

Can't catch a break

It has more resource management

than a canceled Facebook game about farming

For what?

For

these

It costs twenty copper

I feel like you're

I think you're missing something

I can't quite put my finger on it

AHA!

As you can see I'm using my copper supply wisely

It has more West Virginian lore

than any state in the U.S.

Do you think there's actually an enemy

called Mothman?

There probably is

I doubt he's actually at that location

Yeah that's true

But where else would he be though?

What is that?

There's a ghost

You see that?

What? Where?

Over there

It's Mothman

He doesn't look like a moth He looks like a-

Oh god

Okay

You've displeased him

and if you do

is that gay?

Fifteen rads

Disease chance six percent

Is that a risk you're willing to take?

I totally did

You want Mothman inside you?

Yes

I have eaten your children

It has the looting mechancis

of a relatively unknown game

called Skyrim

I'm a ggnome

and you've been gnomed

It has more puzzle solving than survival horror

We have these like laser

Wait you can go through it

Interesting

I would have been standing there for another five minutes

like "how do I get through this?"

I've seen Resident Evil. I'm not walking through that

It has the stealth combat depth

of Metal Gear Solid

Just get all your AP and crouch

use your stealth boy

I'ts comin down

Okay it sees us

Busted

Our perfect hiding spot didn't work!

Oh this did not work at all

Yo yo yo yo

Chill chill chill

It has better platforming

than any Mario game

other than Mario's Time Machine

I can't-

You gotta jump like

towards this back corner here

Further

You gotta yell "parkour" when you do it

Parkour

Parkour

Parkour

Parkour

Parkour

But ultimately

what this game is really about

is this
