Waching daily Feb 18 2019

Matteo Guendouzi has very quickly become a cult favourite at Arsenal but fans are willing

to let recent rumours come true, but only if they get Kylian Mbappe as part of any deal.

You can take the Arsenal out of Arsene Wenger but you'll never take the Arsene Wenger out

of Arsenal- or at least that's the kind of feeling you got in the summer when the Gunners

announced the deal of Matteo Guendouzi.

The unknown 19 year old moved from Ligue 2 side Lorient in the summer for £7 million

and has been an integral member of the first team all season, even starting ahead of higher

profile signing Lucas Torreira at the beginning of the term.

His performances have been nearly as eye catching as his hair and so it's no real surprise to

learn that big names are already circling.

According to the Express, Ligue 1 leaders PSG are interested in signing the Frenchman,

who started his youth career in the French capital, but would need to pay around £60

million for him.

Having already become a bit of a cult hero in north London for Unai Emery's team fans

wouldn't be pleased to see him go, but they would take Kylian Mbappe in exchange:

It seems unlikely that just one year after signing him Arsenal would let the teenager

go but with Emery not being given much money for transfers it could happen.

Selling Guendouzi for the £60 million fee being reported would give the former PSG manager

chance to improve his squad in other areas.

With PSG losing Adrien Rabiot in the summer on a free a move for Guendouzi would also

make sense for them.

Somehow it seems unlikely Mbappe will be going in the opposite direction.

Guendouzi, 19, joined PSG as a six year-old and spent nine years at the club.

But he moved on to Lorient, before heading to Arsenal last summer in a £7million deal.

The France Under-21 international has impressed at the Emirates this season and PSG have been

scouting him ahead a potential summer move.

But the manager has only been handed limited funds to spend on new players this summer.

Emery he has been told that he can raise money by selling players like Mesut Ozil to boost

his kitty and might therefore consider cashing in on Guendouzi.

PSG would need to offer the Gunners around £60m - ten times what Arsenal paid for him

- if they want any chance at all of signing him.

Guendouzi has played 33 games for Arsenal this season, scoring once.

He has been booked eight times since late October and was sent off in the League Cup

win over Blackpool.

As for Ozil, he has been consigned to just one start in the last 10 Arsenal games as

his rift with Emery continues.

Ozil was linked with a move away from the Emirates in January but Arsenal were not ready

to sell.

It is hoped the 30-year-old can be incorporated back into Emery's plans, especially now

Aaron Ramsey is leaving Arsenal for Juventus at the end of the season.

Ozil earns an eye-watering £350,000 a week at the Emirates and Arsenal were not willing

to hand Ramsey, whose contract expires in the summer, pay parity.

Selling Ozil could prove tricky, however, because of those wages.

Arsenal paid £42.5m for the playmaker when he arrived from Real Madrid back in 2013.

He signed a new contract last year, wedding Arsenal to that commitment until 2021.

Finding a buyer willing to pay the transfer fee Ozil would command AND cover his wages

could prove tricky.

Arsenal may therefore end up having to pay part of his weekly salary were they to agree

to sell him to another club.

The Only Evidence You Need for Healing - Duration: 24:49.

JOY: Now I'm traveling with Kenneth Copland ministries. I'm

singing on a praise and worship team there. So, I'm

spreading the good news through song.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for

me. I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: Settle the issue today. It's

God's perfect will for you to be healed, and

the word itself is the only evidence you need. Join

Kenneth Copland on the Believer's Voice of Victory.

Take hold of the word of God. Jesus is the healer.

KENNETH: Let's go to Matthew, Chapter eight. Now,

we're looking here at how easy it is

to receive from Jesus. And, it is the perfect will

of God. Matthew, eight, we read the second verse.

Let's go down to the fifth verse. When Jesus was entered

into Capernaum, home. There came to him a centurion beseeching

him, and saying "Lord, my servant lieth at home, sick of

the palsy, grievously tormented." Jesus said, "I

will!" Now, notice that, I will. "I will come and heal him." He

didn't even ask him to. Are you listening? He said I'll come and

heal him. The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I'm not worthy

that you should come unto my roof." Now see, he realized that

he's not a Jew. But, he knew enough about the word, and

you'll see why as we read these accounts of him. Speak the word

only and my servant shall be healed. I am a man under

authority, having soldiers unto me. I say to this man, "go", and

he goeth. To another "come," and he cometh. And, to my servant,

"do this" and he does it. When Jesus heard it he marveled and

said to them that followed, and that included his own disciples.

"Verily I say unto you, I've not found so great faith, not in

Israel." Praise God. Now then, let's go over to Luke 7:1. Now,

when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the

people he went home. Don't you love it? A certain centurion

servant who was dear unto him was sick and ready to die. When

he had heard of Jesus he sent unto him the elders of the Jews

beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. When

they came to Jesus they besought him instantly saying that he was

worthy for whom he should do this, for he loveth our nation

and, he hath built us a synagogue. So, this is a man

that as a Jewish proselyte, he was spending time in the

synagogue. Now, that's the synagogue where Jairus was a

leader of the synagogue. Isn't that interesting? So, now he

knows that since he's not under the Abrahamic covenant that he's

not covenant worthy of Jesus coming into his house. Now,

don't get the idea that that'll work for you. Lord, I'm just

unworthy ... no. Don't you start that. No sir. Are you born

again? CONGREGATION: Yes. KENNETH: Then, you're a new

creature. God didn't make any new creatures unworthy. No, he

bore our sins in his own body on the tree. Amen. Any man that's

in Christ is a new creature, a new creation. Old things have

passed away, behold all things become new, and all things are

of God. He who knew no sin was made to be sin for us that we

might be made the righteousness of God in him. Now, don't get

over into that unworthy business. That's a strong badge

of unbelief. Now, when they said he built us a synagogue, he

loves our nation. Jesus went with them, and when he was not

far from the house the centurion sent friends to him saying,

"Trouble not thy self. I'm not worthy that that should come

under my roof." Wherefore, neither thought I myself worthy

to come unto thee. But, say in a word, and my servant shall be

healed. For I also am a man under authority. Having unto me

soldiers and I say to one, "go" and he goes. To another, "come",

and he comes. And, to my servant, "do this", and he does

it. When Jesus heard these things he marveled at him. And

turned him about and said unto the people that followed him, "I

say unto you, I have not found so great faith. No, not in

Israel." Praise God. And, they that were sent, returning to the

house, found the servant whole that had been sick. So, why was

this a marvel to Jesus? Why did he marvel at that faith? Because

he demanded no evidence other than the word. You say the word,

and my servant will be healed. He recognized the authority of

the word of God. Now, you and I not only have the authority of

the word, we have the authority of the name, hallelujah. Thank

you Lord Jesus. Turn in your bibles to Matthew, Chapter nine,

verse two. Matthew nine, second verse. We'll I'll read the first

verse. He entered into a ship and passed over, and came into

his own city, which would be? Capernaum. And, behold they

brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying in a bed. Jesus

seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, "Son, be of

good cheer. Cheer up! They sins be forgiven thee." The whole

certain of the scribe said within themselves, "This man

blasphemeth." Jesus knowing their thoughts said, "Where for

think ye evil in your heart? For whether is easier to say thy

sins be forgiven thee, or to say arise and walk? But that you may

know that the son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins."

Then saith he to the sick of the palsy, "Arise, take up your bed,

and go to thine house." He arose and departed to his house. When

the multitude saw it they marveled and glorified God,

which had given such power unto men. All right. Now, Mark,

chapter two. And, first verse. Now, Matthew said that he said,

"Cheer up!" Amen. Cheer up, be of good cheer. Your sins are

forgiven. And again, he entered into Capernaum after some days

and it was noised that he was in the house. So, he's at home?

Now, I thought for a long time that this was a hostile crowd.

But, it was not. He was not in a synagogue. They had come to his

place. Amen. This is ... this is very, very important. And ...

and, straight way, many were gathered together in so much

there was no room to receive them. No, not so much as a bout

the door. And, he preached the word unto them. And, they come

unto him bringing one sick of the palsy, which was born of

four. When they could not come nigh unto him for the press,

they uncovered the roof where he was. When they had broken it up,

they let down the bed where in the sick of the palsy lay. When

Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy,

"Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." Now, can't you see him?

He's standing up there preaching the word. The place is jam

packed. They've come in there from the whole area. And, you

know, he ... can't you see the smile on his face? They're

letting this guy down in front of him, and he's standing there

... and before they ... before they can even get him down

before Jesus, can't you just see him? "Hey! Son, cheer up! Your

sins are forgiven!" Before he ever got to the floor. Now,

those present, that distracted them. Now, we know what he's

teaching. The spirit of the Lord is upon me. For he has anointed

me. So, you know he took them into the ... he took them into

the book of Isiah. He's ... one account said he's preaching.

Another account said he was teaching the word. So, which was

he doing? Both. I noticed this in the eight chapter of the book

of Luke, he's ... he's teaching the sower sows the word, and

suddenly it said he shouted with a loud voice, "He that has ears

that hear, let him hear!" That's not teaching. That's preaching.

He's a preacher. That's where we get that. That's when we get

excited we holler loud. You understand what I'm saying! We

get it from him. Amen. When you boys get older, and you get up

and you start preaching you going to start shouting loud

too. Amen. Just like that old man Copland does. You're like

your daddy though. Amen. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen?

CONGREGATION: Amen. KENNETH: So, and he's an excited man. Oh,

he'd preach. Amen. CONGREGATION: Amen. KENNETH: And teach, and

heal. CONGREGATION: Amen! KENNETH: Thank you Lord. Now,

see I done run off from my book. Get excited, glory to God. Thank

you Lord Jesus. Oh Lord, where was I? Okay. Yeah. Now, when he

said that it distracted them. They didn't get out of sorts

with him, but their religion drew their attention and they

began to think instead of listen. Now, it didn't have to

be a theological thing. You can just get distracted. I've seen

it happen. You get right into ... and some little disturbance

take place in the congregation. People turn around and look.

That's because you're not committed. Now, when you make a

decision to be a doer of the word, and not just a hearer only

... I mean, they can set ... somebody set a firecracker off

underneath a pew and it wouldn't make any difference. You still

locked into the word of God. CONGREGATION: Amen. KENNETH:

Amen. Just don't ... you just don't pay any attention to

anything else. But see, they got distracted. So now, and follow

this with me. You can do it. It can be something silly. Gloria's

best friend, she ... baby's been a hair dresser since she was a

little girl. She's done Gloria's hair for I don't know how many

years. So, she told me back when I was talking about this, she

said, "I really have to be careful because I keep from

looking at people's hair." You know, she gets fixed on a ...

she sees something about somebody's hair, and she gets to

thinking about it. You know, I wonder how they did that? Or,

why did they do that? Or, you know, just enough of the devil

to distract you just enough where you miss something that's

important that was feeding your faith. You get over in your

mind, yet out of your spirit, and get over into your carnal

mind. Amen. And, to be carnally minded is death. So, that's what

was happening to them. But, Jesus perceived it, and

ministered to them. Now then, this man speaks blasphemes,

verse seven. Who can forgive sins but God only? Immediately

when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they sow reason

within themselves, he said unto them, "Why reason these things

in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the

palsy, thy sins be forgiven thee? Or to say, arise. Take up

your bed and walk. But that you may know that the son of man

hath power on earth it forgive sin." He saith to the sick of

the palsy, "I say unto thee." Now, notice he's using his words

as tools. He didn't just say, "Arise." He said, "I say unto

you." So, we know he believed it in his heart. And, he said it

with his mouth, and knew it would come to pass if the man

would act on it. If he would act on it, because when he said it,

he's still paralyzed. He's still lying there ... he had to act.

Now, and immediately he arose. Took up the bed, went forth

before them all, in so much they were all amazed and glorified

God saying we never saw it on this fashion. So, see, they were

amazed and glorified God. They were not a hostile crowd. Now,

let's go to the book of Luke, in the fifth chapter again, please.

Luke 5:17. And it came to pass on a certain day as he was

teaching. So, we found out that he preached and that he's

teaching. That there were pharisees and doctors of the law

sitting by, which will come out of every town of Galilee and

Judah, and Jerusalem. Amen. And, the power of the Lord was

present to heal them. The power of the Lord was present to heal

them. Well, how was the power present? Well, Jesus was there.

The power was present. Amen? It's his will for all them to be

healed. And, the word was there. So, praise God. They were

hearing the word. Now, up until they got interrupted we don't

know how long that had been. But, we do know that he was

preaching and teaching. Amen? And preaching and teaching the

blessing of Abraham, and not the law. Amen? So, since that was

happening, we know faith was coming because they were not

hostile. They had come to his home to hear him. Amen. Oh!

Glory be to God. So, we know faith was coming. Now, Jesus is

the healer, and he's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

But he needs you to receive him.

DELWIN: I'm Delwin Williams. This is my lovely

wife, Joy. When I was around 30 years old I started searching. I

was in my medical training as a psychiatrist, and I realized I

didn't have a lot of answers for certain questions that people

were dealing with. I started seeing the Kenneth Copland

Ministries on television. They gave me information in terms of

understanding the human mind in some ways that I wasn't getting

in my training in psychiatry. But, it also helped me to become

a better person. It helped me to develop a closer relationship

with the Lord. JOY: Well, I was in bed that night, and I had

some excruciating pain in my sides. I looked at my husband

and I said, "Something is really wrong here." He started asking

me some questions, and realized I had a fever. Usually means

that I have an infection. So, they looked me over really well

and advised him to take me to a hospital immediately. It took a

long time before they discovered exactly what was going on, and

discovered the E-coli in my blood system. DELWIN: She had a

very serious infection. She was septic throughout her entire

body. That's a very poor prognosis. JOY: They put me on a

morphine drip because the pain was just unbearable. They didn't

know what to do. They just wanted to get to the most

important organs first. Most people, when they have what I

have, they don't survive. DELWIN: I began to realize it's

important not to just believe the prognosis. So, I didn't

accept that prognosis. I encouraged Joy not to accept it,

again because of plugging into a terrific ministry like Kenneth

Copland Ministries, I've realized that God has the

healing power. We needed to stand on his word, in terms of

turning that situation around. JOY: During that time I realized

I had fallen in love with what Jesus was doing for me, and what

he was doing through me, and the gift that he gave me through

song. And, had forgotten all about just the love with him.

And then, the night that I just ... I had gotten to a point

where I didn't want to ... I didn't want to live anymore. I

just said, "I'm ready to go home Father. It's okay. Take me

home." Then, I heard the Lord call my name. He said, "Joy!" I

said, "Yes Lord?" He said, "Do you love me?" I said, "With all

my heart!" He said, "Then feed my sheep." I said, "Oh, I can't

do that. You said that to Peter. I don't know how to do that. I

just want to go home. I just want to go. I don't want to be

here in this pain anymore." Then, the next night almost the

same time, and I heard Jesus call my name again. He said,

"Joy?" I said, "Yes Lord." "Do you love me?" I said, "Yes, with

all my heart." He said, "Then, feed my sheep." I said, "If

that's what you want that's what I'll do for the rest of my life.

You won't have to be concerned about me ever." He came, and he

walked towards me. He took his right hand, and he put it on my

shoulder. He said, "Be healed." DELWIN: That morning we started

to see the effects of her improving. The physicians were

dumbfounded by that because they didn't ... they hadn't done

anything different. They were expecting the worse, but Jesus

had turned it around, and it's exciting. JOY: Well, after I was

released from the hospital my husband and I went to go to get

a status from my gynecologist of the six fibroids. One in which

was about seven centimeters long. She asked if I had had

surgery. We both looked at each other and smiled. Kind of

chuckled. She said, "As if somebody surgically went into

your body, and cut the veins that were feeding the fibroids.

They're dead." She said, "I can barely see them. What happened?"

So, we had a chance to minister to her too. I don't have any

fibroids. I'm pain free. I'm living a life that is just

incredible. I have the...minister at our

music ministry at Eagle Mountain International Church. Now, I'm

traveling with Kenneth Copland Ministries. I'm singing on a

praise and worship team there. So, I'm spreading the good news

through song. And, wherever I go I'm always

telling people how good the Lord is. That

he's faithful. What a joy it is to know him.

ANNOUNCER: We hope you enjoyed today's teaching from Kenneth

Copeland Ministries. And remember Jesus is Lord.

Humbert Reigns On Home Soil For Fourth Challenger Crown | ATP Tour | Tennis - Duration: 3:36.

A LOOK BACK Challenger La Manche (Cherbourg, France): He opened the week as the top seed as finished as No

1. Ugo Humbert blasted to the title on home soil in Cherbourg, rallying from a set down in both the semis and the final to lift the trophy

He overcame Mats Moraing on Saturday before storming back to defeat Steve Darcis 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-3 in the championship

At two hours and 23 minutes, it is the longest final thus far in 2019.  Humbert added a fourth ATP Challenger Tour title in total and first in his native France, adding to 2018 triumphs in Segovia, Ortisei and Andria

The #NextGenATP is the youngest Frenchman to claim a quartet of crowns since Richard Gasquet in 2003

At the age of 20, Humbert has firmly cemented himself in the Top 100, rising to a career-high No

75 in the ATP Rankings.  Moreover, the Metz native surges five spots to fifth place in the ATP Race To Milan

Last year, he finished just outside the Top 7 automatic qualifiers, but he has made a strong early push to punch his ticket to the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2019

On the other side of the net, Darcis continued his magical comeback from a debilitating elbow injury

Having missed the entire 2018 season, he is on fire in his return, reaching the semis at the season-opening ATP Tour stop in Pune and the final this week in Cherbourg

It was the first final for the former World No. 38 in nearly two years.  Jobtopgun Bangkok Open (Bangkok, Thailand): Third seed Henri Laaksonen gave Switzerland its first ATP Challenger Tour title in three years, surging to victory in the Bangkok final on Sunday

He ousted Dudi Sela 6-2, 6-4 in just 77 minutes. It was the first crown for the Swiss contingent since Laaksonen's previous victory in Champaign in 2016

The 26-year-old rises to No. 121 in the ATP Rankings with the title. Considering he was on a 3-13 run entering the tournament, it was a much-needed week for Laaksonen

A LOOK AHEAD Three tournaments on three continents highlight this week's slate

The 14th edition of the Trofeo Faip-Perrel on the indoor hard courts of Bergamo, features Evgeny Donskoy as its top seed

Stefano Travaglia leads the home charge, with recent Budapest champ Alexander Bublik seeded third

Meanwhile, in Morelos, Mexico, defending champion Dennis Novikov is back and joined by top seed Pedja Krstin and Americans Ernesto Escobedo and Christian Harrison

Trump's government ASKED Japan's prime minister to nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize - Duration: 7:27.

Donald Trump's administration asked Japan's prime minister Shinzō Abe to nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize after he and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un met for a historic summit, according to a Japanese newspaper

Trump boasted Friday during a White House Rose Garden press event that Abe had handed him 'the most beautiful copy' of a five-page letter about the nomination but concluded 'I'll probably never get it

' The request came during the fall, months after the Trump-Kim summit in Singapore on June 12, according to the newspaper Asahi Shimbun

Abe ultimately submitted Trump's name, citing his efforts to defuse decades-long tensions on the Korean peninsula

'He said, "I have nominated you, respectfully, on behalf of Japan.I am asking them to give you the Nobel Peace Prize",' Trump told reporters on Friday

'I said thank you.' 'Many other people feel that way, too.I'll probably never get it

That's okay,' he said. It's unclear how common it is for governments to lobby each others' leaders for award endorsements

The Japanese Embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment on Sunday

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Trump has made strides in opening talks with North Korea, saying consistently that the hermit kingdom's belligerence should have been countered by his predecessors

Last year's meeting was the first between a sitting American president and a North Korean head of state

A spokesman for Japan's Foreign Ministry in Tokyo told Reuters that it was aware of Trump's remarks but 'would refrain from commenting on the interaction between the two leaders

' The Nobel Foundation's website says a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize may be submitted by any person who meets the nomination criteria, which includes current heads of states

Under the foundation's rules, names and other information about unsuccessful nominations cannot be disclosed for 50 years

But that wall of silence has been ineffective in at least one recent instance. The former non-voting secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize committee said in 2015 that members regretted giving the prestigious award to former president Barack Obama in 2009, less than a year into his first term

Geir Lundestad told the Associated Press that the committee had hoped the prize would strengthen Obama, but instead it was met with ridicule since he hadn't yet had a significant impact on global affairs

'No Nobel Peace Prize ever elicited more attention than the 2009 prize to Barack Obama,' Lundestad wrote in his memoir

'Even many of Obama's supporters believed that the prize was a mistake. In that sense the committee didn't achieve what it had hoped for

' Trump noted on Friday that 'they gave it to Obama.' 'He didn't even know what he got it for

He was there for about 15 seconds and he got the Nobel Prize. He said, "Oh, what did I get it for?"' The surprising anecdote came as he hailed Pyongyang's 'tremendous' economic potential and his 'great relationship' with Kim ahead of a second scheduled summit between the two leaders late next week

Trump also took a second dig at Barack Obama, suggesting his predecessor had been close to going to war with the nuclear-armed state

Recalling a conversation he had with Obama shortly before his inauguration, Trump said: 'I don't want to speak for him but I believe he would have gone to war with North Korea

' 'I think he was ready to go to war, he told me he was so close to starting a big war with North Korea

Where are we now? No missiles, no rockets, no nuclear testing.' 'We've learned a lot

But much more importantly than all of it – much more important, much, much more important than that – is we have a great relationship

I have a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un.And I've done a job.' Trump also ran through some of the highlights of the fiery rhetoric he and Kim exchanged in 2017 when tensions between the two countries were skyrocketing

'It was a very tough dialogue at the beginning: "fire and fury," "total annihilation," "my button is bigger than yours",' he recalled

'People said "Trump is crazy."And you know what it ended up being? A very good relationship

I like him a lot and he likes me a lot.Nobody else would have done that. The Obama administration couldn't have done it

Vigil brings hundreds to pray for Aurora sh00ting victims Aurora Beacon News

People attend two vigils Feb. 17, 2019, outside the Henry Pratt Co. plant in Aurora, where six people, including the gunman, were fatally shot two days earlier.

The city of began the healing process Sunday.

About 500 people gathered to pray in a freezing rain at an industrial area on the citys West Side, just a few hundred feet from where the workplace shooting took the lives of five people and injured five police officers just two days earlier.

On Friday, Henry Pratt Co. employee Gary Martin opened fire on fellow co workers after losing his job, authorities said. Martin, 45, was killed in an exchange of gunfire with Aurora police

The Rev. Dan Haas told those gathered Sunday afternoon the shooting is not just a law enforcement problem, and it requires a moral and spiritual response.

Because unless we change mens hearts, unless we change people from the inside out, were not going to solve the murder problem in our country, or in our city or anywhere.

Brian Dolan, a prominent Aurora businessman, stood in the crowd, saying he attended simply because Im a fourth generation Auroran.

Aurora has such a huge heart, Dolan said. Your heart just goes out to the people we lost here.

Clergy took turns offering prayers for each of those killed in the shooting. Family members of some of the victims attended the service. They were not identified and did not speak publicly. A few wept as leaders spoke for about an hour.

Bishop David Molloy, leader of the Catholic Churchs Rockford Diocese, gave the blessing for the family of Clayton Parks, 32, the human relations manager from Elgin who was in the termination meeting for Martin Friday.

We pray for his wife, Abby, and his son, Axel, for strong support of family and friends, the bishop said. By our help may their sorrow be lessened, and Claytons memory be ever remembered.

Pastor Edwin Ruiz, of Iglesia Corisnatica Jesuscristo es la Verdad, offered a blessing for the family of Vincente Juarez, 54, of Oswego. We lift eyes to the heavens, to comfort this family in this tragic loss, he said.

Father Trevor McMaken, of the City of Light Anglican Church, prayed for the family of 21 year old Northern Illinois University student Trevor Wehner, thanking God for his love for others and his desire to serve others.

Comfort Trevors family now, that they would know you ever present in their time of trouble.

Pastor Peggy Hicks, of Exalted Word Church, prayed for the family of 47 year old Yorkville resident Russell Beyer. We thank you that youre their very present help in time of trouble, she said. We dont know what tomorrow offers, but we know that its in your hands.

Pastor Jeff Moore, of the 1st Prebyterian Church, offered a blessing for the family of Josh Pinkard, 37, of Oswego. He prayed for Pinkards wife, Terra, and their three children and noted Pinkard was a religious man. Josh was a man after your own heart, he loved you, with all his heart and mind and soul and strength, Moore said.

Pastor Ed Doeppel, of Resurrection Church and a police chaplain who was with several officers during Fridays events, prayed for the injured police officers and their families and decried gun violence nationwide. To see what is happening to our great nation is disturbing to all of us, as Americans, he said.

Other leaders offered support to the Aurora community and blessings for neighbors, authorities and all those who need healing. Haas even offered a prayer to the shooters family, who are devastated, too.

Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin told the gathering that condolences to the victims families are not enough.

It doesnt imagine the amount of pain that we feel for the amount of loss that weve experienced here in Aurora, he said. Now is a time to heal. Now is a time to forgive. Now is a time to move together as a stronger community. To the family of the victims, I love you from the bottom of my heart, and I open my heart and the city to you.

In Oswego Sunday night, about 30 people attended a 30 minute prayer service at Big Life Community Church. Founding pastor Geoffrey Mitchell, Big Life Rev. Kyle Singleton, and Oswego village board member Ryan Kaufman led the congregation in a series of prayers, urging them to bring the light and love to the world.

If youre from a church that kneels, go right ahead. If youre from a church that closes your eyes and holds hands, go right ahead. Maybe you want to pray with your eyes wide open, thats just fine, whatever way you connect with God, Mitchell told those in attendance, noting some were not from his regular congregation.

Several people wrote prayers on paper posted on Big Lifes prayer wall.

To see the violence and the loss of life and the heroism all blended together in the last week, it brings us to our knees, brings us tears and very few answers, Mitchell said.
