The Los Angeles Unified School District emerged from Januarys weeklong teachers strike bruised and divided. On the surface, the areas of dispute were the usual ones: pay, working conditions and staffing levels. But the subtextual issues the future of charter schools, the depth of the districts financial problems, a controversial and as yet unclear plan to reorganize the district into 32 networks and, ultimately, lack of trust in the districts relatively new superintendent, Austin Beutner are lasting ones that will require steady leadership and nuanced decision making by the school board.

The board, however, remains as riven as ever, with three members seen as heavily pro charter, two as pro teachers union and one who serves as a swing vote. The seventh seat, which has been vacant since Ref Rodriguez stepped down in July after pleading guilty to criminal charges, is up for grabs in a special election on March 5.

To the great resentment of United Teachers Los Angeles, Rodriguez held tight to his seat despite the pending charges against him long enough to vote for hiring Beutner, whom the union sees as the choice of wealthy philanthropist school reformers who want more charter schools. Beutners plan to reorganize the district, which he says will bring decision making out of headquarters and closer to schools, hasnt been met with enthusiasm so far, in large part because people dont know much about it. So when parents rose up to support teachers in their strike, Beutner, fairly or not, became a somewhat demonized figure.

No candidate fits all the criteria. But the one who comes closest is Cynthia Gonzalez.

Now Rodriguez is gone, and the race for his District 5 seat has drawn 10 candidates. They include educators and parents, community college professors, a longtime aide to Mayor Eric Garcetti and a well known former City Council member and assemblywoman who previously served on the school board in the 1980s. The oddly shaped district on LAUSDs eastern border takes in the affluent neighborhoods of Silver Lake and Los Feliz to the north and more working class towns such as Huntington Park and Cudahy to the south. About 90 percent of the students in District 5 are Latino.

Those students deserve a board member who understands the challenges they face and will stand up for their right to qualified teachers and better resources. At the same time, the board needs a collaborative, thoughtful and nondogmatic person who will use insight rather than rhetoric to get the job done.

This is too complicated a moment in the boards history for someone with no experience to take the job. The new board member is likely to serve as the decisive vote on hot button issues. He or she should be steeped in knowledge of education generally and LAUSD specifically. Current, on the ground understanding of schools and of the day to day reality for teachers, parents and students is a big plus, especially because theres too little of that on the existing board. The new member should play a role in helping Beutner build stronger relationships with teachers and parents, and should advocate strongly for full transparency on district plans. Its preferable to have a board member who is independent minded rather than ideologically wedded to the union or to charter school advocates.

No candidate fits all the criteria. But the one who comes closest is Cynthia Gonzalez, the principal of the communications and technology high school at Diego Rivera Learning Complex in South L.A. Thats a pilot school, which means it has greater independence, like a charter school, but remains an LAUSD school with UTLA teachers.

With previous experience as an administrator at one of the districts high performing magnet schools and two of her own children in district schools , Gonzalez has seen how much difference it makes for students to have savvy parents who can negotiate the schools bureaucracy and access to resources, both at home and at their schools. Gonzalez also understands that the challenges arent spread evenly among schools and that performance metrics dont take that into account.

Gonzalez, who has been a teacher and principal at L.A. schools for 17 years, points to at least one school that has such a high number of students with severe learning disabilities that it can never hope for a graduation rate of higher than 80 percent . And she expresses concern that charter schools tout their academic achievements without educating enough of those more challenging students.

She is clearly more aligned with the teachers union than with the charter school movement and would like to see at least a temporary moratorium on opening new charters. Thats not a decision the school board can make under state law. But, like Beutner, she is a strong believer in autonomy for individual schools, though she feels certain that can be accomplished without dividing down into 32 networks, if schools operated more like pilot schools. If she makes it to the board, we hope she would support all schools that do well by students with the greatest needs.

One of her roles on the board, Gonzalez said, would be to serve as a bridge between policymakers and reality, helping explain how proposed new initiatives would be received by schools and whether they would be likely to work.

UTLA has thrown its support behind Jackie Goldberg, a retired teacher, 1980s school board member, former L.A. City Council member and state legislator. But Goldberg, though smart, knowledgeable and effective, is too combative and too ideological. Garcettis favored candidate, longtime aide Heather Repenning, is moderate in her approach, but her lack of experience in education shows; during an interview, she had nothing insightful or original to say about the issues facing L.A. Unified. Both have raised far more money than Gonzalez.

That makes the odds against Gonzalez high. She lacks strong political connections. Shes simply an experienced educator with a strong grasp of both the big philosophical picture and the day to day work of educating students who often face extraordinary obstacles in their lives. Shes what the school board needs.

Kacey Musgraves is now at the point in her career where you probably wont hear her sing alone in concert anymore.

Her songs plain spoken odes to family ties, loves complexities and life in a small Texas town are no longer just for her. They ring out in surround sound singalongs as if ripped from the diaries of her fans, no matter where they grew up or whether they consider themselves followers of contemporary country music.

And theres a soft sweetness to her singalongs, reminiscent of when Taylor Swift revisits the vulnerability of or when the Dixie Chicks dust off

This week proved that Musgraves has a songbook to rival those artists and could be destined for the same magnitude of success. When the lights went down at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday, the roar from the crowd nearly eclipsed the tender modesty of her opening Slow Burn.

For the first of two consecutive, sold out nights at the Ace, the audience had come to bask in the amber glow of . She went home with the trophy for album of the year on Sunday, along with three more in the country music categories, and held her own .

I dont know if you heard, but this past week has been awesome, she said. Lets celebrate together!

Golden Hour, which catapulted Musgraves, 30, from indie star to Grammy darling, is an album that scrambles genres and moods. Sure, its a pastiche of country and pop, but it also feels untethered to time and place. Every single song is a hit or could be if Musgraves got the radio play she deserves and .

Released nearly a year ago, it was a slight curveball for Musgraves, whose down home spunk put her first two studio albums more firmly in the country realm. A Very Kacey Christmas was its own holiday confection.

Her latest release has the warm, luminous textures of a Linda Ronstadt song seeping out of the radio at sunset circa 77. At the Ace, her six piece band and two backing vocalists conjured its supple beauty with the ache of pedal steel, pluck of banjo and a surplus of acoustic guitar. They kept their fingerprints light on the ballads Rainbow, Oh, What a World , but also flexed some might on the disco thump of High Horse and Velvet Elvis.

For a handful of songs, Musgraves and her band even huddled close in a more intimate setting, a clever ploy often reserved for stadium shows, but almost comical in the relatively cozy confines of the Ace Hotels theater.

In concert, , particularly on Valentines Day. And Musgraves was ready to play Cupid, looking like a valentine come to life, the sequins of her crimson dress shimmering in a backlight that illuminated a long, high ponytail perhaps on loan from Ariana Grande. Couples swayed and smooched even when the songs grappled with the fraught vagaries of romance Happy Sad, Wonder Woman .

Musgraves brought out her own valentine, husband and fellow musician Ruston Kelly, to sing a a Johnny Cash poem for June Carter set to music. After a peck on the lips, Kelly started to exit with his wifes guitar slung around his neck. I kinda need that, she said. You could feel the collective swoon in the room.

The whole evening a brisk 90 minutes devoted to the entirety of Golden Hour and choice cuts from her earlier work Merry Go Round, Follow Your Arrow, Family Is Family was a musical valentine between the artist and her admirers. Those singalongs grew louder and clearer, and Musgraves thanked everyone for spreading such good vibes.

The show had its share of frothy fun too. In a salute to her surroundings, in the middle of High Time, Musgraves asked the crowd, How are your CBD edibles feeling? Gooooood! a woman in Row N called out. On Space Cowboy, after reassuring her beloved that she wasnt trying to fence him in, Musgraves flashed a proud middle finger to express what polite words couldnt.

And if you forgot shes a child of the 1990s, Musgraves delivered an irony free version of NSyncs Tearin Up My Heart, a boy band jam that sparked yet another singalong. She even brought out a duet partner, Sophie Allison, who performs under the stage name Soccer Mommy, and earlier commanded her band in an opening set of dream pop that veered from spectral to jagged.

Opening for Kacey Musgraves in LA w my valentine was.. the best date ever, the next morning. Perhaps more accurate: the best date for everyone.

Richmond Animal Care and Control is selling T shirts to show their support for Tommie, the dog that was intentionally set on fire. Tommie died Friday morning. All proceeds will go to their "Tommie Fund" through the RACC Foundation that will provide emergency veterinary care to animals in need at RACC.

A public memorial service has been scheduled for Feb. 23 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Pet Memorial Park Cemetery at 1701 Westbury Drive in Henrico County.

The male brindle dog, which RACC named Tommie after he was rescued in Abner Clay Park on Sunday night, seemed to be improving Thursday when he was able to walk around after treatment for the burn wounds that covered much of his body.

He had just finished having his bandages changed and stopped breathing; his body simply gave out, RACC said in a Facebook post Friday morning. Tommie was pain free and surrounded by people that loved him when he passed. ... Im so very sorry that we couldnt save Tommie but Im confident that we did everything we possibly could and that he felt true love and compassion for the time that he was in our care. We remain teamtommie.

After people heard of the dogs abuse, the hashtag teamtommie has gone viral. Donations and calls for tougher laws of animal abuse have poured in.

A reward fund for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person involved has risen to dollar 25,000. If the money is not rewarded, it will be used to provide emergency care to others animals in need, according to RACC staff. Bills associated with Tommies care were covered by donations before the shelter started the separate reward fund.

The Humane Society of the United States, the Cathy Kangas Foundation for Animals and the Humane Rescue Alliance contributed to the donations, and a separate, private donation has covered Tommies burial costs.

A new fundraising campaign was launched Friday selling T shirts with the caption teamtommie love wins through Bonfire, a Richmond based company, and Teespring. All proceeds from these sales will go to the Tommie Fund through the RACC Foundation.

Authorities are seeking leads in the case. A man wearing multiple layers of pants was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Sunday running from the area toward Belvidere Street. The park is in the 200 block of West Clay Street.

Ive been following Tommies story, and it sickens me to know there are humans who are capable of this outrageous level of senseless cruelty. I hope the monster is caught and convicted to the fullest extent possible. That said, each time there has been an update to the story in the RTD, the description of the man says wearing multiple layers of pants. Can that description be broadened a little? Was he wearing shorts on top of jeans? How can one tell if one is wearing multiple layers of pants. A more detailed description just might help solve the case.

CONCORDIA, MO KCTV Missouri Highway Patrol is requesting that drivers avoid Interstate 70 in Eastern Jackson and Lafayette Counties due to several vehicle slide offs and crashes.

Just before 1 p.m., Kansas City Scout tweeted: "Crashes involving multiple vehicles on I 70 at mile marker 58 near Concordia and mile marker 29 near Bates City have closed WB I 70."

About an hour later, they said that delays were up to six hours.

Twenty vehicles were involved in the crash in Concordia. Six tractor trailers were involved.

Two people were hurt in the crash and their conditions are unknown.

When the crash happened, it was during near whiteout conditions.

I 70 was shut down completely for hours. 

By 6 p.m. on Friday, crews were still working to clear the highway. However, the eastbound lanes had reopened and one westbound lane had reopened.

Crews had to move barrels off the road, which came off of a vehicle during the crash.

Collin Stosberg with the Missouri Highway Patrol said the concern now is the freezing conditions.

If you do find yourself in a crash or in a slide off its important that you stay inside your vehicle. If youre on the road, thats the worst place you can be. So, get off the road and wait for help to get to you.

Kingdom laws Church? were we authorized to carry out in this realm we were

authorized to carry out Kingdom laws that oppose every negative situation

much corruption why then there's so much why then people are so

depressing, frustrated, why? disease are so rampant yes we know that because of the

in such a defeated life no this is why we have the establishment of the

authority of God to change your life to change the nation and to change

this world but what really is the body of Christ doing nothing

something about it because he gave it over to mankind and

up waiting and this is why the body of Christ so many believers waiting for my

change to come and many years forty years they never accomplished a thing

all they have was good vision and the vision went nowhere but in the ground

he took it back from the enemy, contended with the enemy for you and I

and he gave back to mankind the power and authority

but you don't recognize that the power is in your hands

from the enemy devices and now you are in a new life

this morning I want to share with you with a series on I had a message last

week and I want to continue the series on the believers Authority and so today

I am gonna continue I had a message appeared last week and I want to take it

in the depth a bit on the believers Authority and go into touching the very

theme and I had that message today and so I had to switch last night switch

to what I'm feeling in my spirit and so I detour a bit see there are many

factors that is necessary in order to walk in authority many factors that is

necessary although the believers does has an

authority does have an authority but even though we have the authority there

are factors that is necessary in order for us to walk in the ultimate authority

of God now what are these key element or what is what are these key factors and

when I once while I begin to just reminisce and the Holy Spirit and I ask

the Holy Spirit took us to guide me and in the midnight at the mid-morning this

morning he brought on my spirit a few things that is necessary for the

believers to do you can have your notepad and your note paper I don't

think I'm gonna be jumping up I wanted I want to teach the people I don't feel

that I don't feel I don't know what the holy

spirit will do with me but I feel that I need to take my time and just minister

to you for you to really get it and grasp it because what I realize and I

recognize that sometimes we get excited and we we tickle fancy but everybody

getting emotion and getting all caught up in the emotion and myself and then we

go home what really was said last week what really was said and I will ask

nobody remember anything and so I'm gonna take my time to just go through

the little thing here that I have to share with you and so what is necessary

for the believers I'm repeating myself cuz I want you to get it bring your

notepad take your notepad out pads out if you have that so what is really

necessary for you the believers to walk in the ultimate authority of God two

weeks ago I mentioned about the authority and I think I gave a good

introduction and the authority of God letting you understand origin of your

authority and waiting on God and praying for God to intervene in their situation

into their situations many of us we are even waiting and people to to to help us

in our situation yet we were given an authority to live a fulfilled life I

mean if you know that we were given an authority all that we are going through

the works of the darkness and all the negative this situation that we go

through go through we were given the authority to live beyond that the enemy

we were on spiritual warfare also a series and that I leave that behind now

because we're not gonna talk too much about devils and demons because we're

not gonna big up the enemy we must recognize though that we have an

adversary and we also must recognize that many of the things that we go

through it is not just normal it is not because the fact that listen this is

just a part of life we are going through what we are going through because Satan

still is in the in the earth and until is final sentence speech for

eternal with all his demons then we will be free

until then until we leave this earth we will face an enemy so we need to

understand that we have an adversary we are soft to understand that we are in a

war so we need to talk about it but we don't want to keep emphasizing demon and

demon so that was a series that the Lord said bring in and now that you

understand how the enemy work and a little bit of him we're gonna now talk

about your authority understand that he's a little ant compared to you as a matter

of fact he's nothing is powerless when it comes to us but if we don't

understand that we're gonna live a defeated life are you agreeing with me

you agree with me amen so we're gonna we're gonna we're

gonna pick up the power of the Holy Ghost this morning we're gonna pick up

God and pick up the God that is in us so then this what is necessary in order for

us to walk in authority mighty God as I come to you this morning know what God I

always ask that you will have your way in me no God I'm here standing God to do

your will I recognize that you love your people I

recognize that you want to change my live in Almighty God

and say Here I am as an instrument for you to use me mighty God I come prepared

with a little bit of notes but I pray that you will interject now God and

take full control of your way in me Lord God as I reveal myself in Jesus name and

so number one point that is necessary for the believer to walk in that

authority is that number one you must know and understand the source of your

authority you must know and understand the source of your authority you must

know and understand the source of your authority it is important and that

authority is God and not only ordinary God but it is the sovereign God of this

universe I am talking about the mighty God it makes a difference when we

understand where the source of our authority is coming from because if we

if we if we have the understanding that our source and the source of our

authority is coming from a human human authority a human like the pastor or the

prime minister and a humanistic viewpoint then we have a problem but we

do understand with our authority really is coming from and to understand that is

coming from the almighty God then we have a big difference you know that

so bear with me we need to understand the source of our Authority and the next

thing is that we must be rightful here of this authority we need to be rightful

here we cannot be illegitimate children we have to be legal rightful children

for this area I will interject a little bit to say

that in and then if we are rightful heir of this inheritance and what is really

happening to the body of Christ what is that mean then if we are rightful here

or do you really understand the authority that God have left for you and

number three we must also understand and know the supernatural will the

supernatural Constitution we must understand that and the supernatural

Constitution and the supernatural will is none other than the Word of God

Church do you understand the will? do you understand what is in there for you?

do you understand what is left when somebody die and leave a will behind?

this is a will but it's a supernatural will all your inheritance is in that we

are just bear that in mind and number four you need to know how to take

authority you need to know how not only know how but you must be willing to take

authority you know the the body of Christ they know

the rightful here but they don't and some people even know how but they are

not really mmmmmm to take authority and then a

William F. Weld, the maverick former governor of Massachusetts, announced on Friday that he would form an exploratory committee to challenge President Trump for the Republican Partys 2020 nomination, presenting himself as a dissident voice in a political party that has abandoned its mainstream roots.

Mr. Weld, 73, is the first Republican to announce he will run against the president. But Mr. Weld is unlikely to pose a major threat to Mr. Trump and he is in some ways an incongruous figure to leap into the presidential fray. Mr. Weld is a moderate Republican who ran for vice president in 2016 on the Libertarian ticket. His candidacy might be more of an act of protest than a conventional national campaign.

But appearing in New Hampshire, Mr. Weld called it a moral duty to stand against the hard heart, closed mind and clenched fist of nativism and nationalism.

I hope to see the Republican Party assume once again the mantle of being the party of Lincoln, Mr. Weld said, . It upsets me that our energies as a society are being sapped by the presidents culture of divisiveness of Washington.

Mr. Weld had made little secret in recent months of his interest in challenging Mr. Trump in 2020, either by running for the Libertarian Partys nomination or by contesting the Republican presidential primaries. Bush turn back a challenge from Pat Buchanan, a hard right nationalist in the mold of Mr. Trump. Mr. Bush defeated Mr. Buchanan, but the conservative commentators showing in New Hampshire helped sustain his activist campaign nationally and hobbled the presidents re election.

A New Hampshire contest between Mr. Trump and Mr. Weld would effectively reverse the roles from 1992 — with the fire breathing immigration hawk as president, and the low key aristocrat as his gadfly challenger.

Cassie Smedile, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, dismissed Mr. Weld and any other challengers who might emerge, citing Mr. Trumps popularity with Republicans and his long list of incredible accomplishments for conservatives and the country.

this is the way things affect people we open up ourselves to these things, right?

consume him and from one level to the other so if we are going through these

things and we have seen that something come to with us don't don't entertain

once we entertain these feeling and many that we will be talking more on and we

have talked about we are bringing these things to light because they effect they

will affect your life and you or anyone gonna suffer bitterness hurt all of

these things they're not just like that, they damage you because the body is like it's

like you weren't created for these things and these

things are stripping from the enemy and God don't dwell with these things but

it's not a part of these things and these things will mush up your body it

will affect you, you were not created for that so when we allow these

negatives spiritual toxins to enter our lives we are open the door for other

spirits like what happened to Cain here to in turn affect us so this is why we

need to keep as we go no let's just finish this and go into the weekend

prevent ourselves, so here we notice what have happened you know how these

individual can get this spirit, so we talk about rejection, we talk about pride

we talk about bitterness hurt and then we murder

we can also murder people in our heart and by murdering in our heart we can

that a spirit can transfer in your life? how many of you know that this vagabonds

spirit literally impart into your life, to lay your hands, sometimes we're very

good and it's the people that we are round and in part in our life that we

are messed up we can join our self with relationship and I'm good I am good I am

doing well but then I connect myself to unequal yoke of in certain spirits and

that spirit transfer in your life, anybody get in it? because the person was

under curse and you go join yourself with that now, now, if you're in Christ if

you're in Christ and you are the one the light in you supposed to affect your

partner, right? if you are... so your spirit now can stop that transfer but

you have to know how, now, some people that are unsaved its see

because you are in the relationship already you didn't go and take up

somebody else so if you go out and take up somebody now you

go on into a different territory so that's a whole different thing on itself

but if if are you already... you already married to somebody and

they're in the world and you are not in the world then your ...

because listen you are you are together so you but the righteous one

literally sanctify the unsanctified right you get that? but you have to make

sure that your sanctified you can't be in between you can't be in between

because that line just so you can change that relationship but you have to know

how so the next thing is you can be under this vagabond curse by the spoken

word, spoken curse, now spoken curse as a Christian has no authority over you and

you believe that an accepted your coming in an alignment with that curse now you

see we have to be careful how people even prophesy and tell you how this in

your life you know that a lot of people prophets and they're prophesying lies

don't you accept any negative prophecy over your life, reject them

anybody is hearing me? these are things people will come and said oh

I see that you're gonna be mad or crazy in your head, don't want to reject it and

send it back, listen, there's no way in the Word of God say that you're gonna be

crazy somebody so if you listen to this prophet and because they're carrying the

name prophet you're believing them you're accepting the curse you see you

can come in under curse you accepting the word and so you live your believing

that lie and that life follows you and you end up in the curse even a couple

weeks ago with that situation please it was a curse it was rich cloth you know

people can speak and it's a form of witchcraft you didn't know that and if

you accept that word it will it will open the door to many different sprit

spirit of disappear this spirit of depression spirit of fear, act you have

to know the Word of God and not just know the word but you have to believe it

so that you can use the word of God to counter-attack this negative curse

word that comes to you because what God says know the Bible said who I

bless no one curse but if you don't believe

the Word of God you're gonna accept the fact, oh my God, I'm cursed and when you

see situation so they'll come up to you like say somebody say that you're gonna

have this cancer and if you go to the doctor the doctor says no you're gonna

believe that curse and then you just come in and in alignment with the curse

rather than say no even though I see evidence here I'm not gonna believe it I

reject it and this is what other people that is sick and end up in dying because

they allow the situation or thing the saw to get them fearful weakened and

then all different spirit now come and attack them rather than eject it of your

life eradicated of your life and still hold on to believe in the Word of

God this is why if you notice even some ministry what they do they have the word

the Word of God to pray over your life to pray it every time those

scripture every morning I shall live and not die I shall I am blessed I am

blessed I am good I am the head and not the tail and if we constantly use those word

of our life listen we are sowing now the best that, the better tree to uproot

those negative tree so we see in these seeds now to kill those

negative seeds did you know that but most Christian or they go home and they

go into a pity party feel sorry for themselves oh God I'm gonna die Oh God

that curse the prophet told me... no, don't go and believe that don't believe

the doctor's report don't believe what you're seeing don't believe what you're

experiencing even when people get delivered, but the enemy come

and intimidate and bring a spirit of intimidation and they believe that Oh

didn't she deliver me I'm not delivered now what am I seeing no no you are

delivered believe it and don't accept what you're seeing

he's insane and then you're ejected and before long you're clear you're good

okay so the next thing that will cause us now to be underneath that curse are

that spirit of vagabond is generational curse... generational curse

someone in the bloodline being guilty or returning evil for evil, anybody here

it's not good to have anything but somehow my generation kill somebody or

did something I'm saying look at that so sometimes we go do things and the

effect of what not even us do but our generation because it says to the third

and fourth generation so we did not do it but the sprit of vagabond is upon our

lives because something have happened somebody did something in our generation

lineage now but then I am a Christian then so isn't everything covered under

the blood of Jesus? but nobody remember my teaching a few months back

everybody is under the blood so there is no demon can afflict you and can

curse you I know generational language can follow

you because you're under the blood so then how then that I that I'm being

affected how then and I'm still poverty how then that everybody at the age of

fifty they're dying? how then that my blood pressure is so high and everybody

in the family has blood pressure and high blood pressure, anybody remember

that teaching? why? why? if you are, if you are if everything is under the blood and

my generation did something ten years ago or maybe maybe a hundred years ago

my ancestor did something it said it will it will visit you it didn't say

that he will afflict us a little visit you so what happened remember what I

are saved sanctified and no demon can bother you so if I was in loss

how it comes in your life because of certain practices certain tendencies why

some people are actually into that as I was explaining earlier that if for some

people who have certain you know like certain cultural things like something

they believe in some superstitious stuff right and so they're burning certain

things they're doing certain rituals they're doing some things they're open a

portal for the enemy to come in their lives and they don't know because of

certain practices so these spirits are in their lives and they don't know you

getting what I'm saying they're in their lives and they don't even know that

they're underneath the Vagabond spirit because the door is open you open the

door wide because of certain customs, and so also killing as I said against God's

prophet, killing people in our heart, we can be under their curse I mean of us

curse God's people but it thank God let's not do that

let's not do that let's not listen, if people trouble you, just take a deep breath and swallow it

don't come against God's people no you know it's a deadly thing we can be under

curse from troubling God and I'm not talking about just the past I'm talking

about even the sister and brother sitting beside you you don't know who is

who no this is this is this is very

important stuff we gotta be careful listen think about even God has a

purpose on somebody to accomplish his will and some massive calling and that

sister brother look so simple beside you and you feel that because the person

looked like they don't have no sense to sit there that person is the next

deliverer of the nation but they look simple and you come against them and do

some things that is God's anointing that you're touching God purpose God purpose

for this nation we gotta be very careful because you see when we touch them we

are touching God's pride possession and I've seen over and over where people

come against people come against God people and they think and they walk out

feeling good it's a deadly thing to do if you don't understand people leave

them alone I'm teaching you something if you don't understand people leave them

alone leave them alone don't go back talk people let this

church be a Church free of gossip we started back talk people and talked

against them on the phone we might not do it in the congregation because I'm

not gonna tolerate that in here to be honest with you because then we have all

these spirits see whenever you see what up in the weekend the church can be

under a church of vagabond too, a church can be under, a church can be

under a spirit of certain things so listen if the head has that spirit

over them and if the church is packed up with pure vagabond in the church that

church isn't going anywhere what do you think some church or

churches are stagnant? the people are packed up in there and the peer bacteria

spiritual bacteria that is, let us let this church be a church that is different

I'm serious if we want to see breakthrough God is even speaking to me now thank you

Lord, if we want to see breakthrough in our lives if we really truly want to see

breakthrough in this nation if we really want to see breakthrough in this city

let us be a church and the people because we are the church let us be a

people that is different let us examine ourselves look in ourselves what could

it be possible that we are up, what that is operating in our lives that is not

really of God anything that is not in line with the scripture and God that

that is of the enemy or otherwise that is otherwise and if you notice somebody

that is around you that is not operating as per the way they should operate don't

tolerate that don't don't join with it, nip it, nip it, nip it, nip it, nip it, let's

let's nip it, let's be a church of example because too much nonsense is

more prone for Jezebel spirit I don't want that in me I don't want none of the

characteristic trait of Jezebel in my life so we all have to examine ourselves

even as a people as a body not just me and everybody they love to look at the

spotlight up there, oh look at the pastor the pastor, oh the pastor, listen, we are

accountable to as a people we all have to stand before God and give account for

what have I done you serve a place you serve a part in the

kingdom did you know that one apple can spoil a whole bunch? did you know that

you can spoil the whole church without the pastor, anybody get what I'm saying?

of our lives and we if we identify it around us

we gotta have to pray for individuals or even going nice to them and help them

from the spirit of vagabond... what are the steps? so number one

I believe that we all have to be aware because a lot of people they are

under spirits without even aware, right? so aware of all the Spirit works what

characteristic the spirit has that we understand once we understand that the

Spirit in our life, the second thing that we do is we repent, had Cain have

repented he would have not... I don't believe that he would have gone under

that curse so we repent and then as Minister Roxanne had said

renounce the curse it is important for us to do that and the thing is why these

curse come up in our life because we accept them now it's because of the

legal ground as we go back into Genesis when we were studying chapter 1 how God

gave us dominion and we have the legal right on earth and so this is why the

curse and all that will work because of the fact that there is life under the

the power of the tongue we can decree and we can declare things and things can

happen and so when we do decree and declare things things go into that

spiritual realm and, as she said profoundly, those spirits negative spirits because

we are agree, you know, remember we are agreeing so this bridge one takes

now what we agree on and ensure that it happens it's what the person said that's

what he said so I have legal right now to afflict them I have legal right to

let whatever happen because they agree with it because we have the legal right

so what we do now so we break it by renounce in it we renounce it from our

life but first we have to repent and the next thing we do and she perfectly said

we now think differently and as the Bible says as a

a man think so he is, so is he, so if we think that we are poor we are gonna

be poor the Bible said it so man think it's so let's think different

the next thing that we have to do and one of the things that we have to

understand that is that sometimes we we were comfort deliverance and we can't be

delivered until we... the mind, we have to renew our mind we can't deliver

the mind you know the mind cannot be just delivering like that we have to

renew it so whatever is negative going on in there whatever we are thinking

that listen we got a renew the mind now to think positive thoughts positive

thinking the things of God what the Bible actually says the truth not the

facts, because too often times we believe the facts but the truth overwrite what the

fact... right the pronounce and so we we believe that

should override it now the next thing is that we can't be delivered from the

flesh we can't deliver the flesh okay the flesh is acting up the flesh is

doing things so we have to now subdue and allow the flesh to come in a line

anybody understand what I'm saying okay talk about the spirit so what I mean by

that a good example okay so you know the flesh want to do this and the Holy

Spirit is saying do that right so we want to do this we want to be like

Church hoppers and we want to just loosen that illustration could be anything but

one of the way we subject subdue the flesh is allow ourself to be where God

want us to be or do what God wants us to do, so we can come in line with the

blessing rather than the curse right understand that illustration

all right but it does not apply to any of us because we are not hoppers we are

not we are not, we are not vagabond, we are none of us are, we're gonna put that

spirit but it just in case that we can understand what it is so that we won't

come under it, right? we won't come under it so as soon as we see our bits or our

characteristic, nip it, don't allow that to extend to follow us so if

we if we realize that we are operating in some way why are we doing that? that

doesn't look right I have no abiding place I'm just

like I'm not consistent I'm not stable you know some people have good good good

good good relationship good job and all of a sudden they just walk out and leave

it because it's a good if it was not good job then that's ok I could move on

right because there's no need for me to be there it's not good but if I have

something that is good why am i moving from it? God wants to stabilize me so

that I can get enough income to pay my bill, my bills and invest, hello, I'm

talking about stability when we take up for self and we're not rooted we're not

grounded even churches sometimes God wants to root us into a ministry and

into a church and because we feel that oh whatever you know what I'm saying and

the flesh is telling me something God wants to root us but because of the

Vagabond is whispering to our ear the vagabond spirit is trying to influence

us now we allow that vagabond to detour us when God wants the plant was in a

church where we can be rooted and grounded and instructors have substance

not for those that are in deliverance ministry when you are praying for people

you can identify what spirit is in people, based on learning, it doesn't have

to be this discernment but once you know how these spirit operate just like in

medical doctor medical and medicine and all other people study different

bacteria you know that this study different things to see how it works so

the spirit is of the way people are operating it's not just them it's a

spirit operating through them or afflicting them or whatever it is so

some of the trade in individuals we don't know it we won't

even know what's happening I will be frustrated

this person like that? why this person can't stand me, why this person always

complaining why this person you know or whatever because when you know their

spirit and you don't know how to deal with them, especially in leadership this

is why I wanted to go through all of this for leaders so that they can really

understand this so they can understand they can know how to deal with them they

can help them so as I said self control then the next thing is change our

expectation and then the other thing is close the door we gotta close the door

close the door so that these spirit does not come in how do we close the door I'm
