 Decades after rising to fame in rom-coms such as When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail, is writing her own romantic comedy

 Ryan, 57, revealed the project in a new interview with The New York Times Magazine: "It's at Working Title Films," she said

"I'll just leave it at that. Getting the green light. … My God. You feel like you're jinxing it if you're talking about it

"  The actress, who also wants to direct the project, said that she now understands the inner workings of rom-coms

"I'm aware now that romantic comedies are confections, but they have construction," she said

"There's architecture. It's not something I was aware of back then."  And for that matter, Ryan believes romantic comedies have a place in cineplexes alongside heavy-hitting dramas and tentpole blockbusters

"As soon as they make money, they have value," she explained. "But I don't think that because things are tragic they're deeper

Think about Nora Ephron [writer of When Harry Met Sally]. Her observation about romantic comedies is that they were commenting on their time in an intelligent way, but with the intention to delight

"  Simultaneously, the Kate & Leopold actress is developing a TV show with Saturday Night Live producer

"It's not really a sitcom," she said. "I can't believe NBC might do it, because it's so odd

Right now I'd be producing. Maybe I'll act in it. I don't know. It's a limited series, three seasons

A murder mystery. A comedy. A murder-mystery comedy."  Ryan, who announced her engagement to singer in November 2018, also told the magazine about her self-imposed exile from Hollywood

(She has only taken three film roles in the last 10 years, including the 2016 film Ithaca, her directorial debut

)  "I was burned out," she explained. "I didn't feel like I knew enough anymore about myself or the world to reflect it as an actor

I felt isolated. … There are so many advantages to being famous — but there are fundamental disadvantages for a part of your brain, your self, your soul

My experiences were too limited. … I wasn't as curious about acting as I was about other things that life can give you

"  The three-time Golden Globe nominee also speculated that her breakup with Hollywood was mutual

"I felt done when they felt done, probably," she said.  Now, however, Ryan feels comfortable with her level of fame: "I walk into other people's paparazzi photos, but I can also get a restaurant reservation

"  Ryan has two children: , her 26-year-old son with ex-husband , and Daisy, the 15-year-old daughter she adopted in 2006

Meghan Markle may be two months away from giving birth to her and Prince Harrys first child, but that isnt slowing her down. Considering the mother to beafter giving birth its no surprise shes staying on her feet this long.

It was already public knowledge that the new Duchess would be working up until her due date, but that doesnt makeany less surprising. So whats driven Markle to take a trip across the sea and what will she be up to there?

The soon to be mom will be traveling with her doting husband by her side. They will be making a weekend trip to Morocco in North Africa. This will be Markle and Prince Harrys first official trip to Africa. Fun fact: This actually. Before she rose to royalty, she did some philanthropic work of her own in Rwanda!

Prince Harry has worked with for a number of years and has a deep personal interest in frontline conservation projects that work to protect Africas natural heritage and support both wildlife and local communities.

Prince Harry has also been to Africa in the past numerous times. In November of last year, Prince Harry left his pregnant wife on UK soil for a. While Markle would have loved to be by her husbands side, her mother Doria was visiting around the same time. Not to mention, news of the Zika virus encouraged her to stay home to ensure both her safety and the safety of their unborn child. While on the two day trip Prince Harry delivered a passionatespeech about the strong relationship between the two countries.

While out there the pair will be focusing their energy on girls education and youth empowerment, two key causes the couple holds dear. According to Kensington Palace, the duo is being sent out at the request of the British government. Their hope is that the official humanitarian visit will be thebetween Morocco and the United Kingdom.

Considering Markles outspoken feminist nature, its no surprise that this trip is one she refused to pass on. She has used her fame, both before and after marrying into the royal family, to speak for the rights of women. While Morocco has made some strides in education, it still isnt at its best. All girls can go to elementary school but currently. Only 14 percent of them actually make it to high school.

During their weekend adventure, the pair will be meeting with Moroccos ruler King Mohammed VI as well as the countrys prime minister, Saad Eddine ElOthmani. Pure royal engagement aside, the parents to be will also get a chance to swing by some ofMoroccos major tourist attractions.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex haveto choose from. Popular locations includeMarrakesh Medina, the Hassan II Mosque,Oudaias Kasbah, Menara Garden, Tangier, Bahia Palace, Volubilis, Bab al Mansour, Ouzoud Falls, Dades Valley, Ait Ben Haddou, and Majorelle Garden.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Morocco from Saturday 23rd February to Monday 25th February 2019. This visit is at the request of Her Majestys Government.Full details of the visit will be announced in due course.

The Duchess of Sussex willbe flying out with her husband at her side on Saturday, February 23rd. The royal pair will be returning the following Monday, February 25th. At the time of the visit, Markle will be just about eight months pregnant.

The Duchess of Cambridge also happened to go on tour while she was pregnant with her youngest, Prince Louis. Kate Middletonaround this same time last year. And when I read Alita, I said, 'There's my sister again, but also my daughter. It was my worldview and I wasn't seeing the representation that I was used to being around on the screen at all

" For producer Jon Landau it was his mother. "My mom was a maverick in the business industry, and she's still fighting that fight every day for women

" Alita is definitely filled with girl power and as Salazar sums it up, "I know what it's like to be a woman and anybody who is going on this harrowing journey deserves a pat on the back, and at the very least, some representation on screen
