Sport TV - Former Chelsea striker pinpoints key men for Spurs in trophy hunt - Duration: 1:46.
Chris Sutton has heaped praise on Tottenham after their 3-0 win against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night
Mauricio Pochettino's men defeated the Bundesliga leaders 3-0 at Wembley, with Son Heung-min, Jan Vertonghen and Fernando Llorente on target for Spurs
And Sutton believes that Llorente's goal late on after coming on as a substitute could prove decisive in the context of the tie
"I think with the third goal, yes," he said, when asked on BT Sport show Saturday Morning Savage if he felt the Champions League last 16 tie was over after Spurs' 3-0 win in the first leg on Wednesday night
"I have so much admiration for Spurs. You think about [Jan] Vertonghen playing in that left wing-back role, and he was sensational
"That is the key to Spurs with the versatility of the likes of Son [Heung-min], of Vertonghen, and imagine when they get their best players back
" Meanwhile, former Leicester City and Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon has praised the influence of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and the job he has done in north London, with Tottenham currently sitting third in the Premier League, five points behind Manchester City and Liverpool
"They rode their luck a bit against Leicester, but still got three goals," he said
"Then he changes his system and goes three at the back, with [Juan] Foyth coming in, [Jan] Vertonghen at wing-back and Son [Heung-min] has taken over from where [Harry] Kane left off, scoring goals on a regular basis
And [Moussa] Sissoko has been a revelation in midfield. "It is seamless the changes he [Pochettino] makes
They are a fit team and they play some great football and it looks a real happy camp there, and it is all down to the manager really

Update | Sen. Kamala Harris gets Gov. Gavin Newsoms endorsement for president Los Angeles Times
Gov. Gavin Newsom announced he is endorsing California Sen. Kamala Harris for president during a Friday television appearance on MSNBC.
Im very enthusiastic about Kamala Harris, Newsom said in an interview with Chris Hayes, host of All In. Ill be endorsing her candidacy for president. Ive known her for decades I think the American people could not do better.
Though not surprising given the long political relationship between the two former San Francisco politicians, Newsoms support could play a pivotal role in Harris prospects in an increasingly crowded Democratic field of presidential candidates. California lawmakers decided in 2017 to move the states primary to early March in an effort to make a bigger impact in the presidential sweepstakes.
Newsom said he got to know Harris well when he served as mayor of San Francisco at the same time Harris was the district attorney of the liberal Bay Area city.
His announcement follows endorsements of Harris from labor activist Dolores Huerta, co founder of the United Farm Workers, and Rep. Barbara Lee D Oakland .
Since announcing her candidacy in January, Harris has propelled herself to the front of the pack of Democratic candidates lining up to challenge Republican President Trump in 2020. Harris spent Friday campaigning in South Carolina, a pivotal early presidential primary state, starting her two day swing at a town hall in Charleston.
Harris and Newsom are longtime friends and political allies. They were both mentored by former San Francisco Mayor and state Assembly Speaker Willie Brown and served in City Hall at the same time. They have also inhabited the same social circles and vacationed together.
Despite that, the two politicians were considered potential rivals after one of Californias U.S. Senate seats was vacated by the retiring Barbara Boxer in 2015. In the end, Harris jumped into the race to replace Boxer, and Newsom announced that he would run for California governor in 2018.

✅ Breaking News - Oxlade-Chamberlain teases Brewster for sleeping on bus in Marbella - Duration: 2:18.
If Rhian Brewster will have learned anything from Liverpool's trip to Marbella it will have been not to fall asleep next to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the team coach
The Liverpool starlet was exhausted after a training session as part of their warm-weather camp in Spain as Jurgen Klopp looked to take advantage of being knocked out of the FA Cup last month to Wolves
Brewster took the chance to get some sleep but Oxlade-Chamberlain, in high spirits as he continues his rehabilitation from injury, bopped him on the nose twice with his phone to see if his team-mate would wake-up
Share this article Share Writing on his Instagram story, Oxlade-Chamberlain wrote: 'Nah how's this guy sleeping through 2 phone bops to the nose?!!'Oxlade-Chamberlain, who dates Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, was in hysterics as Brewster continued with his sleep
In another video he added: 'Nearly given him a nose bleed and he is none the wiser' followed by two laughing emojis
After nearly 10 months on the sidelines watching his team-mates excel, the 25-year-old is edging closer to a first team return
The former Arsenal man has not played since April 24 when he damaged knee ligaments during Liverpool's 5-2 Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Roma at Anfield
Having been beaten by Wolves in the third round at Molineux, manager Klopp has felt the time is right to take advantage of some time off and whisk his players to sunnier climbs
Liverpool are juggling a title challenge in the Premier League and also the Champions League as they welcome Bayern Munich to Anfield on Tuesday
Klopp's men went all the way to the Champions League final last season where they were beaten in Kiev by Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid

Texas 14 year old girl gets 25 years for teen friends murder Fort Worth Star Telegram
February 15, 2019 05:05 PM
A girl found guilty of murdering her best friend was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday.
Her sentenced was imposed immediately and she will be held in a Texas Juvenile Justice Department facility, according to Judge Alex Kim, who presided over the case. On or before her 19th birthday, the court will make a determination whether to transfer her to an adult prison or grant her some leniency.
Nylah Lightfoot, 14, died early May 29 after being taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with stab wounds to her neck and chest after a fight at the Sycamore Center Villas apartment complex in south Fort Worth. The friend who killed her has been detained since the stabbing and will receive credit for time served, according to the court.
The murder trial for Lightfoot friend began Tuesday. The now 14 year old was convicted of murder Thursday and could have been sentenced to probation or as much as 40 years in prison, according to prosecutors. The jury took about one hour and 20 minutes to convict the assailant, and one hour and 10 minutes to sentence her.

Lightfoots mother, Anntoinette Carter, made a victims impact statement before the court shortly after sentence was announced.
When they told me it was you, it hurt, Carter told the girl. You was at my house every day.
Carter said her daughter wanted to be a makeup artist, and would sneak into her bedroom to get makeup for herself and the girl. But she will never see any of that, Carter said. She will never see her daughters prom, never see her high school diploma and never see her wedding, Carter said.
You spent her last birthday with us, Carter said, hanging her head in tears. I dont know how I come back from this.
The girl was found not guilty of an aggravated assault allegation, which arose from the teen allegedly swinging a kitchen knife at one of her other friends who tried to stop Lightfoots killing, according to the girls testimony.
The friend, also 14, grabbed the arm of the assailant who continued to swing the knife around until the friend got scared and let go of her arm, the girl testified earlier this week.
Lightfoot and the girl accused of stabbing her, who is not being identified because she is a minor, started arguing that day and early into the next morning.
The girl testified Wednesday that she moved to Fort Worth from Memphis when she was 12. The assailant and Lightfoot met at school, and their friendship grew into what the girl described as sisterhood.
But like family, the girl testified on Wednesday, they did not always get along.
I had the same arguments with her that I had with my brother, she said.
The girl testified later that she would be haunted by her decision.
Every day, every minute, every second of my life, she said. My life will never be the same.
The assailants stepfather, Antonio Kneeland, 33, of Memphis, said he had an idea what might transpire when he saw the jury pool, which was mostly white.
How could this be considered a fair trial when 91 out of the 98 jurors is a white person, Kneeland said. Ive had people who were not picked for the jury reach out to me and tell me how they feel about this county and how they felt about the Ethan Couch verdict.
Couch was sentenced to probation after driving drunk in his Ford pickup, and then striking and killing four people in 2013.
The lawyer just told me whatever number they come up with shes going to serve some time, Kneeland said. Im hoping they come back with a number like 15 to 20. If they come up with something like 30 to 40 they are trying to send a strong message that this will not be tolerated and we dont care about rehabilitation.
They will be making an example out of my daughter.
Before her 25 year sentence was announced, the assailants step father, Antonio Kneeland, talks about his step daughter facing 40 years in detention. Kneelands step daughter was found guilty of murdering her 14 year old best friend.

Thousands of UK students skip school for climate change News Al Jazeera
Nationwide protests take place in multiple UK cities, with schoolchildren demanding urgent action on climate change.
Thousands of British children skipped school to demand action on , earning a mild rebuke from the prime ministers office for disrupting classes, but praise from the energy minister and activists.
Youngsters marched on Parliament Square in the capital, London, on Friday and gathered in other cities carrying banners marked with "Climate change is worse than homework", "Act now for our future" and other slogans.
The British protests were part of a global School Strike 4 Climate movement, which began in August 2018 when 16 year old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg began protesting outside her parliament on school days.
She even took her protest to the World Economic Forum in Davos last month.
In the past few months, tens of thousands of children in , , Scandinavia and have taken to the streets.
Students are asking governments to take urgent measures to address the crisis by bringing environmental reform, system change and declaring a climate emergency.
"We want those empowered to know they are not doing enough at the moment," Anna Taylor, the protest organiser, told Al Jazeera.
"Young people feel betrayed," she added. "Were here because the burden has fallen on us to protect our future as they have failed us."
A spokeswoman for British Prime Minister said that while the government welcomed the students engagement, the disruption to schools and lessons would be difficult for teachers.
Her energy minister Claire Perry, however, said she was "incredibly proud" of the young people while opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn expressed his support for the "school kids of today whose futures are most on the line".
According to the UNs Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world has 12 years left to bring global warming under control before the damage is irreversible.
A was reached in the French capital, Paris, in 2015, with 195 countries agreeing to limit global warming to less than 1.5 degrees Celcius above pre industrial levels.
But a string of major climate reports have cast doubt over the entire process to avert runaway global warming, suggesting the Paris goals fall well short of what is needed.
Global temperatures are on course for a rise of 3C to 5C this century, far overshooting a global target of limiting the increase to 2C or less, the UN World Meteorological Organization says.
Al Jazeeras Neave Barker, reporting from the demonstrations in London, said: "The perceived lack of action when it comes to governments dealing with climate change head on has led to a growing youth movement thats taking its future into its own hands."
"Im worried because if we keep on doing what were doing, we wont have anywhere to go and we might run out of food and things we need," an eight year old girl told Al Jazeera.
Earlier this week, 224 academics from Oxford, Cambridge and other universities declared their support for the students in an open letter published in The Guardian.
" Those taking part in the strike have every right to be angry about the future that we shall bequeath to them, if proportionate and urgent action is not taken," they wrote.
Many of the students at the Parliament Square protests said they were taking action in their own lives to cut climate changing emissions, from eating less meat to cutting out airline flights and walking or biking more.
"This is our lives, our future. If we want to live, we need to make changes now," Zakiyya, 14, told Reuters news agency, carrying a sign pleading, "We are scared. Listen to us!"
A larger global mobilisation of children is planned for next month.

FOX TV - Guinness Global Equity Income: Looking for the world's dividends - Duration: 7:05.
Asset manager Guinness adopts a 'three per cent rule' across its investment funds
This means no individual holding should ideally represent more than three per cent of any fund by value
If one stock comes in, then one must be sold to accommodate it.It is a rule that so far has worked a treat on Guinness Global Equity Income, a £526 million fund that seeks out listed companies worldwide that strive to grow their dividend payments to shareholders
If a position drops to two per cent, then Guinness decides whether to sell out and take a position in a new company – or to buy more of the stockSince the fund launched at the end of 2010, it has enjoyed eight consecutive calendar years of increasing dividends, achieving a current yield of 2
8 per cent. It has also delivered investors with eight years of positive overall returns, no mean achievement
Matthew Page, who has run the fund with Ian Mortimer since launch, says the three per cent rule ensures they constantly take profits on strongly performing holdings while questioning whether struggling stakes are worth rebuilding or jettisoning altogether

When a holding gets to four or 4.5 per cent, we trim the stake back. Similarly, if a position drops to two per cent, then we need to decide whether to sell out and take a position in a new company – or to buy more of the stock
'Last year, four companies were jettisoned – US aerospace giant General Dynamics, multinational CA Technologies (also US), UK-based financial services company Nex and superstore giant Walmart
They were replaced by Taiwan Semiconductor, Broadcom (that acquired CA Technologies), Swiss foods company Nestle and US outsourcer Paychex
Page adds: 'If we get rid of a company or buy into a new one, we both have to agree
If not, it does not happen.'Before any company gets into the fund it must already have successfully jumped over a series of hurdles
The duo will only look at companies that have generated high returns on capital for their shareholders going back ten years
The businesses must also have a minimum stock market capitalisation of $1 billion (£778 million) and have a strong balance sheet
Page says the potential universe the pair can choose companies from is 500-strong with half listed in the United States
'The key is to build stakes as cheaply as possible,' he says. The 35 positions currently held are spread across most market sectors – with the exception of utilities where returns on capital are often restricted by controls on pricing by regulators
FundCalibre includes the fund on its 'top rated' list.Darius McDermott, managing director, says the managers' emphasis on choosing the right companies gives them a greater chance of finding 'hidden' stock market gems
He also likes the 'one-in, one-out philosophy' because it means the managers are constantly appraising their worst performing investments
The fund represents a solid investment for investors in search of a growing income and the opportunity of a long-term capital return
But it should not represent more than 10 per cent of an income-orientated investment portfolio
Dividends are paid every six months and the fund's ongoing annual charge is 0.99 per cent
Over the past five years, the fund's total return of 59 per cent is above that of both the FTSE All-Share Index (23 per cent) and the average for global equity income funds (42 per cent)

Why Aaron Ramsey wanted to leave Arsenal for Juve revealed by Wales legend - Duration: 1:34.
Aaron Ramsey is not the first Wales legend to take the plunge and make the bold move from England to Juventus
Ian Rush made the move to Turin when he left Liverpool in 1986, spending two seasons with the Italian giants before returning to Anfield
The news was finally confirmed this week that Ramsey had penned a pre-contract agreement with the Bianconeri to join at the end of the season
Rush has revealed the reason he reckons Ramsey is the right man for Juve - and stated their track record of winning trophies was the key factor in his final decision to ditch the Gunners
"He's a fantastic player, a very reserved person, a man of the family," Rush told Corriere di Torino
"Juventus care a lot about how their players act off the pitch and he's a genuine person, the right man for the Bianconeri
"Why Juve? I spoke to him a couple weeks ago, he's always been convinced of this choice because he wants to win trophies and Juve has always been the first choice for this
"He believes that they have more chances to win than other teams."
