Throughout my years as an educator, I've always been

trying to make learning relevant for our students.

My goal was to make sure students understood the reason

they were coming to school, the purpose of their learning

each and every day, and how that learning actually

prepared them for college, as well as a career of their choice.

I believe we have a solution to make learning relevant for our students.

I'm very excited about this P-TECH program that

we will be launching in New Brunswick starting July 1.

Incoming 9th-grade students who are enrolled in this

program will receive a high school diploma,

an associate's degree in a STEM field, and be exposed to workplace experiences.

In fact, we have a team working each and every day

to build this program to ensure that every student

enrolled in this program gets a taste of early success.

I'm going to show you a little bit.
