Budgeting For Beginners (BUDGETING 101) - Duration: 6:50.
Struggling with finances and being on a vicious cycle can be extremely stressful.
The main reason why this happens is because people don't budget.
But on this video, you'll learn how to budget successfully and start today.
Make sure you stay tuned till the end because I'm going to give you the most important thing
you need to know about budgeting.

Not having the finances to do what you want can take a toll on you.
Trust me, I know.
But with these budgeting tips, I was able to pay off my car, pay off my credit cards,
and also save money to move cross-country.
Here are the five things you need to know about budgeting.
The first thing you need to know is what budgeting actually means.
Well, let me break it down to you nice and easy.
Budgeting is when you decide you want to spend less than what you make each month.
The benefits of budgeting is that you're way more organized.
This is especially awesome when tax season comes around.
You just basically have to submit your paperwork because you've already done the hard work
of listing everything for your tax attorney or tax person.
You also pay off your debt faster, and you can also invest in your future.
If you want to open up a business, invest in your education, or even start building
your retirement fund, you'll be able to do that with no stress.
This is something I wish I would have known as a kid because growing up, the budgeting
doesn't seem like the cool to learn how to do.
But, little do you know that it's going to basically affect you for the rest of your
life if you have bad habits with spending money and not saving it for emergencies, learning
how to build your credit, and things of that sort.
Which brings me to my next point.
Out of curiosity, did your parents teach you how to budget?

The second thing you need to know is why budgeting is important.
The reason why budgeting is so important is because it helps you take control of your
finances.
Let's face it, prices on everything, from food to housing, to college tuition, is rising
all the time, which leaves you with very little room to be careless with your money.
To get started, the first thing you have to do is write down your monthly income after
taxes, and also jot down your monthly expenses.
If you don't usually keep receipts, you can just go back to your bank statement, or you
can just write a rough estimate because it's just going to be for that first month.
Now, moving forward, you're going to be more aware of what you spend so you can always
adjust that later on.
You can use a notebook, Excel sheets, Google sheets, or a budget planner to do this.
The third thing you need to know about budgeting is how to break down your expenses.
I know that I had mentioned that you have to write your monthly expenses.
But when you do write them down, I suggest that you do it in this form because it's going
to be a lot easier for you every month.
I break down my expenses in two categories.
The first is fixed expenses.
This is rent, phone bill, anything that is going to be due on a consistent monthly basis.
The other category that I put them in is variable expenses.
Variable expenses are expenses where the amount usually changes every single month, so like
grocery shopping, gas, clothes shopping, going to the movies, restaurants.
It's going to sting just a little bit, but I promise it's going to worth your time, totally
your time.
Because now you're going to get to take control over your money.
How cool is that?
Sorry, I got a little too excited.
Now, it's your turn.

The fourth thing that you must know about budgeting is that you must monitor your spending.
Let me give you an example so that you can understand when you're overspending.
All right.
Let's say that your monthly income is $3500, but your expenses are $3000 a month.
That means you're not overspending.
You have an excess of $500 that you can either pay off your bills with or put in a savings
account, right.
If your monthly income is $3500 but your expenses are $4000, then that means you're overspending
by $500, and you need to take a look at your budget to either adjust it or cut a few things
off that you may not deem very necessary and you can live without.
Now that you've written down your monthly income, you've written down your expenses,
and now you know whether you're overspending or underspending, now it's time for you to
decide how much you want to save per month.
This is going to be something that's very important because it's going to decide your
monthly budget.
Let me give you an example.
For me, what I did was automatically deposit 30% of my paycheck into my savings account.
The reason why I did it so aggressively is because I had a timeframe and I knew that
I wanted to move to Los Angeles.
What did that mean for me?
No more partying, no more going to the movies, no more eating out at least for a while.
But it felt so good when I met my goal and I was able to move cross-country and not depend
on anyone financially to do so.
With that said, most people, what they do is they start with 5-10% and putting that
away in their savings account.
It really is up to you, like what your goals are, what your timeframe is.
Ready to hear the most important thing you need to know about budgeting?
The most important thing you need to know about budgeting is that you have to make a
budget every single month.
You cannot rely on doing it once and assuming that that's going to be your budget for the
rest of the year.
There are so many things that can happen along the way.
Maybe you are done paying a credit card bill and now you can adjust your budget to maybe
save up more money, or maybe you just want to buy something that you didn't have the
opportunity to do so because you were busy paying off that credit card first.
There are so many variables to it.
If you really want to succeed at budgeting, then you have to, have to, have to, I don't
know if I emphasize this enough, you have to make sure that you budget every single
month.
It's also going to make sure that you're set up to succeed and make sure that everything
is running smoothly.
I think that the first month is always the hardest because your guesstimating what your
expenses are since you didn't previously save your receipts and didn't really have a lot
of numbers to go by.
But, as you move along, it's going to be so much easier for you.
Just give yourself some time and check with yourself every once in a while, and really
think, "Do I really need to go out to this restaurant today?"

BEST LAPTOP FOR COLLEGE 2018 - MY TOP 4 PICKS! - Duration: 6:10.
Hey guys, my name is Shubham Kejriwal and today in this video, I will be talking to
you guys about my top 4 laptop recommendations.
So, I ended up buying this one which is the HP 15cc130TX but on the journey to come to
this laptop I had a look at a lot of laptops and I shortlisted them to 4 top recommendations
that I would be talking to you guys about in this video.
So, those four laptops were the MacBook Air, the Lenovo Yoga 520, the HP 14BF125TX and
this one which is the HP 15cc130TX.
Why I picked this one is what I would be talking to you guys about in this video but you should
definitely keep watching for the rest of the laptops too because maybe you would find those
better than this one for certain reasons.
So, starting off with the list, we are gonna talk about the MacBook Air.
It is a decent laptop with really good specifications for the price tag at which it comes and considering
the fact that it comes from a company like Apple.
It has a 13.3 inch display, it has intel core i5 processor, it has 8 GB of RAM and it has
128 GB of storage.
So, 128 GB of storage is the major reason why I didn't consider this laptop because
I am a youtuber, I have to store a lot of videos and this PC that I have right here
has only 150 GB of internal built-in storage.
That was not enough so I wanted a laptop with at least 1TB of storage and that is why I
didn't really go for the MacBook Air.
Another major reason for the MacBook Air, why I didn't consider it is the fact that
its display is not as good in comparison to other laptops in the same price bracket.
Other than that, if you are considering a laptop for basically, the MacOS Sierra is
absolutely amazing!
I have had experience with the MacBook Air for about 2 weeks and I absolutely loved the
UI that it came with.
It is really really user friendly and you should definitely consider it if your major
concern is about user interface.
Number 2 on the list is the Lenovo Yoga 520.
Let's talk about the specifications first of all.
It has 1TB of storage, 8 GB of RAM, intel core i5 7th gen, integrated graphics, 14 inch
touchscreen and a fingerprint scanner.
So, why I didn't consider this laptop is because the color options and the looks just didn't
fit for me.
Another really big factor for me was that the 7th generation processor is what is in
the heart of this device.
I wanted to have a device which has the latest 8th generation processors and the fact that
the lenovo yoga 520 had the 7th generation processor*, they didn't fit right for me.
Another major reason why I couldn't buy the lenovo yoga 520 is because of the fact that
all of the retailers that I talked to were saying the same things: that all of the features
that it comes with like the major features like the 360 degree rotatability, the touchscreen
and the fingerprint scanner are all almost gimicky.
Number 3 on the list is HP 14 BF125TX and I absolutely loved that laptop.
It has a 14 inch display which has 1 TB of storage, 8 GB of RAM (DDR4 obviously) and
2GB of Nvidia 940 MX graphics card which is DDR3.
It has a lot of specifications sharing from this one but the major difference is the fact
that it has a 14 inch display.
I am a youtuber and the major factor for me is display!
I need to get the biggest display possible in the most compact size form available and
this laptop proved that and that laptop with 14 inch of display just didn't fit right for
me!
Another reason why I bought this one over that one and the major comparison between
these two is the fact that this comes with 8 GB of SSD and that one, I don't think comes
with any SSD at all!
So, 8GB of SSD, comes with a bigger display and has a----
This one also comes with a CD drive, and I know, almost no one uses CD drives in 2018
but just the surity that my device would be ready to run a CD absolutely is a secure point.
So, those were my reasons for buying the HP 15cc130TX.
In case you want to go for a more compact laptop, you can definitely consider the 14
inch version too!
Talking about the performance, this device has been performing absolutely amazingly throughout
the time I have been using it.

So, although this is not a dedicated gaming laptop, it would be able to handle games pretty
well and that's all that you can want from a laptop of this price tag.
Talking about that, the HP15cc130TX comes at the pricetag of around 64,000 rupees and
the 14 inch model comes at a price tag of somewhere around 66000 Indian rupees.
So, I know, it is kind of a higher prictag but in case you buy it from a local retailer,
I'm really sure that you would be able to get a really good deal and you would be able
to bargain to a price tag of around 56 to 60,000 Indian rupees!
And well, yeah, those were my top four recommendations for laptop.

Now for the configuration part
Winning or export or select the default configurations a text or a tablet to fail
There is no Express isn't established to adjust any me. I have set the pen Express keys as ctrl + L
And the other one as right-click, you can change it to 16 keys. That's the maximum
you can also change the pressure sensitivity setting and
This is your work area you can resize it rotated
But main thing here is monitor calibration. I need to calibrate a few times to get it working correctly
My experience with the monitor so far has been pretty good
I especially noticed the wide range of pressure sensitivity when I am drawing

Feel like I have a real pencil in my hand because of how light I can get the brush to be when I just lightly

With animating, it feels very natural as well
I'm used to all the backup and Huyen tablets which are just display less tablet
So grading to a monitor where I can see where I am drawing on the same surface that I am pressing is a big upgrade
This tablet doesn't have Express keys as I have mention earlier. I'm
So used to using my keyboard for all the keyboard shortcuts in flash in Photoshop
Another issue I faced while using this tablet is monitor color doesn't match with your lap your PC
so you have to change 10-bit color settings and graphic settings in your PC as well as your template so or all this tablet is
amazing
I recommend it to beginners and who wants to become a digital artist and I want to spend twice the price on Wacom Cintiq

Curtain call for Sydney Opera House's longest serving employee
It was an emotional final day for the 73-year-old as he walked up the front steps of the Opera House, after spending two thirds of his life working at Australia's iconic building.
"I couldn't sleep last night … to forget today," Mr Tsoukalas said. From the moment he sailed into Sydney Harbour in 1964 as a Greek immigrant and saw the Opera House, he knew he wanted to work there.
Within four years he was helping to build it, in charge of a scaffolding team working on the building's final stages. Once it was complete, Mr Tsoukalas stayed on as a maintenance worker and cleaner.
"The Opera House gave me the opportunity to be a different person, to marry the same year [he started work], to be in love with the building, to build up a family," he said.
Mr Tsoukalas's family — wife Marina and their two sons, Terry and George — were there today to mark his retirement. Just last week he celebrated 50 years working at the Opera House, making him the longest-serving employee.
The 73-year-old calls the Opera House his other great love. "I was in love with two ladies and both of them were 50 years with me," Mr Tsoukalas said.
The Greek immigrant has left his mark too. He helped to introduce green cleaning, using his Greek grandmother's tip of cleaning the building's bronze with olive oil and the concrete with bicarb soda.
And he has met thousands of people at his workplace over the years. Today, each worker, from the cleaner, to the security guards, to the Opera House chief executive, all said hello, and dozens of them gathered to say goodbye.
Opera House chief executive Louise Herron paid tribute to Mr Tsoukalas on his retirement. "He has been here since before the Opera House was opened, for the entire 45 years, and five years before that," she said.
She described Mr Tsoukalas as a "living treasure". "Steve even features in our conservation management plan," she said.
Mr Tsoukalas said he will never say goodbye because "I'm going to visit all the time". Now retired, he is already planning a visit with his grandchildren next week.

Cecilia Haddad murder case: Police issue arrest warrant for Brazilian woman's ex-boyfriend
Police have issued an arrest warrant for the ex-boyfriend of Brazilian woman Cecilia Haddad, whose body was found floating in a Sydney river earlier this year.
The ABC confirmed this morning that police believe Mario Marcelo Santoro — who is understood to be in Brazil — is now the prime suspect in the ongoing murder investigation.
The body of the 38-year-old businesswoman was found in Lane Cove River in Sydney's north just a day after friends reported her missing in April.
It is understood police have approached the Federal Attorney-General's department about formally extraditing the 40-year-old to Australia.
The warrant makes Mr Santoro a fugitive, meaning he could be arrested on the spot if he returns to Australia from Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil and Australia have an extradition agreement, but it is a complicated diplomatic process, with Brazil often reluctant to extradite its citizens to face trial overseas.
Mr Santoro left Sydney bound for Brazil on April 29, the day Ms Haddad's body was discovered.
Police said Ms Haddad worked as a supply chain manager for BHP Billiton in Western Australia before moving to NSW in 2016.
While in Sydney, she ran a consultancy business and worked as a logistics manager for a freight company.
She also had an active social life and a large circle of friends, police said.
Ms Haddad, who lived in Ryde, spoke to friends on the phone between 8:00am and 9:30am the day before she was discovered, but missed several appointments later in the day.
