Beeswax has been used in products for ages

and can be traced all the way back to the seventh century.

Today, Beeswax is still used in many products.

Specifically, beauty products for its superior moisturizing capabilities.

Burt's Bees is a company that was founded on the principle that bees are magical.

It all starts with a bee.

Well...many bees.

Burt's Bees sources their beeswax from Tanzania.

Using a combination of new and traditional methods these beekeepers are able to supply

half the wax used in Burt's Bees lip balms and other products.

Traditional hives are suspended from trees and lowered down to access the honeycomb.

The honey is extracted, and the comb is boiled down to get the raw wax.

This wax is then sent to Burt's Bees factory in North Carolina.

Here the raw wax is filtered until pure.

This purified wax is then made into pellets that are ideal for melting.

The raw ingredients that make up the lip balm are beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, vitamin E,

rosemary leaf extract, and peppermint oil.

Each of these ingredients is measured out precisely and mixed with the beeswax.

This mixing tank holds the equivalent of 100,000 lip balms.

After mixing for several hours, the recipe melts down

to a smooth final liquid and is ready for filling.

Empty tubes travel through the filling machine at a rate of roughly 500 lip balms per minute.

The filled lip balms then go through two heating and cooling chambers.

This step is crucial to the texture of the lip balm and helps the beeswax formula avoid

cracking as it hardens uniformly to room temperature.

Caps are added one by one at a rate of 600 balms per minute.

A machine called the sorting hopper arranges the cooled balms in a row.

The tube is then ready to be labeled and hot stamped with a log code.

This code is unique to each lip balm, ensuring that each tube is traceable to its original batch.

There you have it!

This lip balm is now ready and waiting to cure any case of chapped lips.

Next time you grab this little tube, don't forget to thank the bees!

Thanks so much for watching!

Is a Side Hustle Right For You? - Duration: 3:25.

Hey guys, it's Erin from Eff The Office, where we help you become a kick-ass

virtual freelancer. Is a side hustle right for you? In this video I'm gonna

share two quick reasons why it might not be and two reasons why it might be your

dream come true. I'm a millennial. I said it, I'm not

ashamed but like so many of my millennial colleagues, we all have side

hustles. I've had a side hustle throughout my entire professional career.

Side hustles are awesome because they have the potential to deliver a ton of money to

you on the side and imagine what you could do with an extra hundred, five

hundred even an extra thousand dollars a month?! I mean think about that. $12,000

a year coming in from a side hustle - that is no chump change. The

answer really depends on your situation. I'm gonna start first with two reasons

why it might not be your thing, and first, side hustles take a lot of dedication.

It's super hard to grow your business or hone your craft on the side if you

can't commit to it on a consistent basis. So if you don't have the time to put in

daily, at least, this might not be a good fit for you. Reason number two it's not a

good fit for you if it interferes with your day job. If your moneymaker suffers

because you're spending too much time on your side business, I hate to break it to

you but your job is not paying you to make money for yourself. If you want to

risk getting terminated then that's one thing but just know that a lot of

employers aren't gonna take too kindly if you're working on your side

business during their regular business hours. But of course I want to end this

on a happy note and I have two reasons why a side hustle might be perfect for

you! Number one, it is rejuvenating, and this is something that

we think people don't talk about enough! Sure you hear that side hustles are

super time-consuming and they are because you're working on your day job

you're coming home and you're working right away on your side hustle but we

find that to be super thrilling. It is rejuvenating. Think about it this way:

When you're tired of working on your day job and you can't take it any more

you can just switch gears on work on your passion or something creative or

just something that you love to work on and there's something really

rejuvenating about that. And the best thing is when your Side Hustle starts to

become a little too much and you're like I cannot look at this website anymore

- boom - you're back to work and it's just this way to keep yourself engaged and

rejuvenated all day long. And finally the last reason why this might be the thing

for you is because it's a great way to turn a side hustle a passion a hobby or

a skill that you have into a full-time career opportunity. If you're able to

dedicate consistent time on your side hustle and it starts to grow and you get

more and more clients and you can charge higher and higher rates, then it might be

time for you to turn your side hustle into your full time freelancer income

and that is super exciting! If you liked this video don't forget to like it.

Subscribe to the channel and check out our other videos for you and if you're

thinking of starting a side hustle but you haven't yet, drop us a comment. Let me

know what is holding you back because we'd love to help you out. Thanks again

Theresa Caputo's Estranged Husband Larry Is Dating 'Someone Special' as Couple Moves to Divorce - Ne - Duration: 2:58.

Larry Caputo, the estranged husband of Long Island Medium star Theresa Caputo, is dating a new woman

TMZ caught up with the 61-year-old reality personality on Tuesday in Santa Monica, California, where he revealed that he's in a new relationship

"I have moved on," Larry said. "I'm fortunate enough to say that I have met someone special

But I'll just leave it for that now."  Theresa and Larry were married for 28 years before they announced their separation in December

Back in April, Theresa told Extra that the two were living on opposite coasts — he in L

A. and she in New York — and were taking their relationship and the possibility of a reconciliation "day by day

"  But now, Larry says divorce is in their future.  "I've been here 9 months now," he told TMZ

"The separation was a three-month trial period and we've moved on from that point

We're in divorce proceedings. That's been going on for the  last six months. It's not finalized, I don't know when it will be

But that's where we're at. "  "I know she's doing well, I'm happy — We've moved on with our lives," he added

As for Larry's future with Long Island Medium, he told TMZ he doesn't know if he'll be involved any more

"All I can say is fans are going to have to tune in and watch," Larry said.  The Caputos share two adult children: Larry Jr

, and Victoria.  In their joint statement about their separation to PEOPLE, the former couple said they would remain a strong unit for their kids

"We will always love each other and our two wonderful children," they said. "We are united in supporting each other and our family

"  "I'm overwhelmed by the love and support for me and my family while we're going through this difficult time," Theresa tweeted after the separation announcement

"One thing will never change and that is that we will always love and support each other, and be the best parents we can be to our children

Love you guys."  In an earlier episode of Long Island Medium, Theresa revealed that her marriage was going through a "strain

"  "I sometimes interpret it as growing apart. I've changed and he has changed. We're both not happy and, you know, it's hard to try to work through that," she told the camera

"It's not easy for me to sit here and to talk about this, to talk about my feelings, to talk about how my marriage is, but you know, things do change

Music City Star Jessica Mack Is Engaged! All About Her Love Story – and Her Ring! - Duration: 3:22.

It's a reality romance!  Jessica Mack, singer and star of the CMT reality series Music City, is engaged to her boyfriend of seven months, Andreas Plackis

The couple met through a small group at their church in Nashville.  "Everything just fit," Mack tells PEOPLE exclusively of her relationship with Plackis

"He had a strong faith, we enjoyed each other's company and I was super attracted to him

It was easy with him."  Plackis proposed via an "extravagant" plan — but he had to improvise a bit on the spot

"We went on a scavenger hunt to find clues that would lead me to a missing page in a book we have been writing back and forth in to each other since the beginning of the year," Mack explains

"The clues pieced together formed a picture of Centennial Park. He took me out to this big tree and I started searching for the paper

After a good five minutes I gave up and asked for his help."  RELATED: The Most Jaw-Dropping Celebrity Engagement Rings  Finally, she says, "He turned me away from the tree and gave me the paper

He said count to three and do what the paper says. I count, I read and it says, 'Turn around

' When I turn around I see Dre pull out a ring box out of his pocket."  Plackis got down on one knee to pop the question, to which Mack (affectionately known as J-Mack on the show), of course answered yes "after I quit freaking out

"  After the proposal at Centennial Park, "we went on to have a very fun day that he had set up for us which included a romantic dinner and surprise engagement party

"  The ring Plackis proposed with — a 1.07 round-cut solitaire diamond on a rose-gold band — holds a special meaning as it's a family heirloom

Mack's single life was documented on the first season of Music City, which was created by Adam DiVello (a

k.a. the man behind The Hills and Laguna Beach). She briefly dated personal trainer (and fellow aspiring singer) Jackson Boyd on the series before splitting after he started romancing Miss Tennessee contestant Savana Hodge

The couple plans to get married August 25 in Mack's home state of Arkansas. Tags Engagement Rings Engagements Music City Music News News Style News TV

Leave No Trace breakout Thomasin McKenzie is on her way to J.Law status - Duration: 9:25.

The next Jennifer Lawrence could very well be in our sights. At least, that's what critics coming out of Sundance have been saying for months

Director Debra Granik helped launch the Oscar winner's career with 2010's Winter's Bone, so her new teen lead of Leave No Trace, Thomasin McKenzie, can understand why some are anticipating another star-making performance

"I think it's cool people have been comparing me to [Lawrence], but also I've got my own acting style," McKenzie says

"But I'd love to be like her. I love her. She's cool."  Audiences can get a sense through EW's exclusive clip, above, from Leave No Trace why movie taste-makers are fawning over this 17-year-old Kiwi actress

Her subtle, powerful performance as Tom, a young girl living off the grid with her father (Ben Foster), led to roles in WWII satire Jojo Rabbit from Taika Waititi (the Marvel director who made Thor cool again) and Netflix's Shakespeare-based The King alongside Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson

So now a girl, once set on steering clear of acting, is jet-setting to New York for press tours and to the U

K. and Czech Republic for movie-making.  "It is so much fun!" she remarks of all the traveling

"I had never been to Europe before… Now I want to see more and more."  Her grandmother Dame Catherine Harcourt, mother Miranda Harcourt, and father Stuart McKenzie formed their own film family dynasty in New Zealand through acting and directing

McKenzie, already wise beyond her years, took to the craft while filming a movie called Consent: The Louise Nicholas Story

Though only 14 at the time, she was acting out a true tale involving "rape and abuse of power in the police force," and she realized the industry could be more than just "fame and fortune

" Scott Green/Bleecker Street  "For me, [acting is] about telling stories and sharing things that need to be heard," she says

"And also, you can educate people through acting and telling those kinds of stories, which I love, and it made me realize I had an opportunity to make a difference in the world

"  McKenzie's career got a jolt from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, yet you probably didn't even know it

Her bit role involved a scene where Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel brought her character Astrid back to life, but Peter Jackson ultimately cut the moment — having filmed way too much footage for a two-and-a-half-hour movie

"There is still a part of it where I'm in it, but you'd only know if you [already] knew," she says

With Leave No Trace, McKenzie gets a lot more to work with.  When casting her lead roles, Granik looks for an actor who can offer his or her own "personal insights," someone who shows a "willingness" to put in the work and to "research" the character

For Granik, a film is "not a ready-made thing." The actors, she notes, "are going to be informing it so hugely that I need to see some sign there that that's exciting for them

" It's in that sense that McKenzie shares a similarity to Lawrence; both actors possess these qualities

Having auditioned for most of her roles over Skype, McKenzie's first in-person meetings with Granik and Foster roughly coincided with her first day of wilderness training, which entailed making fires "without using matchsticks or lighters," collecting water, listening to bird calls, and the like

She hadn't conferenced with Foster prior to rehearsals either, which brought another level of pressure

"He looked a lot different than I thought he would because he seems to transform in every role he takes on," McKenzie recalls

"I can't remember exactly [my first impressions] because I was really nervous, but he was a really nice guy

" Scott Green/Bleecker Street  Foster was already thinking about fatherhood from expecting his firstborn with Orange Is the New Black's Laura Prepon, and McKenzie was dealing with the "grief" that comes from being away from her own family while on set in Oregon

So the pair naturally bonded on and off camera. McKenzie also mentions using a "Hug to Connect" technique with Foster that her mom handed down, "where we just hugged for two minutes right before the first scene to get in the rhythm of each others' breath and to feel each other's warmth

" This was followed by a traditional Māori greeting exercise — Māori being the indigenous people of New Zealand — "where you touch noses and foreheads and you close your eyes

"  She and Foster needed to be fearless touching hands and hugging, since Leave No Trace — an intimate, character-driven piece — is fueled by this father-daughter relationship

The "film fanatics" out of Sundance (i.e. critics and casting agents) quickly took notice of their performances, McKenzie acknowledges

Hence her newfound bankability. She calls it "surreal and crazy and very exciting," but she's interested to see what the general public thinks of her work

All this hype has been happening in a vacuum, as Leave No Trace doesn't open for the masses until June 29

McKenzie doesn't have too much time to sit and think on this, though. A day after our conversation in New York, she hit the road again to film more projects, including Jojo Rabbit

Waititi already showed the world his spoof of Adolf Hitler in the film, about an awkward German boy (Roman Griffin), his single mother (Scarlett Johansson), and his imaginary friend Hitler (Waititi)

But McKenzie's role as the girl who upends the boy's world views remains elusive

McKenzie, a fan of Waititi's Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople, remembers how the eccentric filmmaker was "pointing out artworks in our house to his friends in the Fox studio" during the second round of auditions over a video conference

She says, "What I adore about his films is their unique but inclusive humor, which often conveys quite dark themes like betrayal and loss

"  Not even Lawrence can flaunt that on her résumé (yet).

A Secret From John McCain's Past Is His Most Disgusting Betrayal Ever - Duration: 12:54.

A Secret From John McCain's Past Is His Most Disgusting Betrayal Ever

John McCain has spent his entire political career stabbing conservatives in the back.

This time he went too far.

A smoking gun just surfaced that everyone believes is McCain's greatest act of betrayal.

Barack Obama once laughably claimed his administration was "scandal free."

Critics immediately pointed to Obama's IRS targeting Tea Party groups for political intimidation

and harassment as one of the greatest scandals in American history.

Tea Party groups were overwhelmed with document requests and the drawn-out process to be approved

as a 501c(4) nonprofit group under the tax code.

In 2013, as John McCain was gearing up for a difficult 2016 primary challenge by conservative

state legislator Kelli Ward, Arizona Senate John McCain's top henchmen, Henry Kerner—who

was his former staff director and chief counsel on the Senate Homeland Security Permanent

Subcommittee—met with top Obama IRS officials, including then director of exempt organizations

Lois Lerner, and urged them to "audit" Tea Party groups in order to financially ruin

them.

The watchdog group Judicial Watch unearthed this smoking gun in a recent Freedom of Information

Act request.

The notes from the April 2013 meeting reveal:

"HENRY KERNER ASKED HOW TO GET TO THE ABUSE OF ORGANIZATIONS CLAIMING SECTION 501 (C)(4)

BUT DESIGNED TO BE PRIMARILY POLITICAL.

LOIS LERNER SAID THE SYSTEM WORKS, BUT NOT IN REAL TIME.

HENRY KERNER NOTED THAT THESE ORGANIZATIONS DON'T DISCLOSE DONORS.

LOIS LERNER SAID THAT IF THEY DON'T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS, WE CAN COME IN AND REVOKE,

BUT IT DOESN'T HAPPEN TIMELY.

NAN MARKS SAID IF THE CONCERN IS THAT THE ORGANIZATIONS ENGAGING IN THIS ACTIVITY DON'T

DISCLOSE DONORS, THEN THE SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK.

HENRY KERNER SAID THAT MAYBE THE SOLUTION IS TO AUDIT SO MANY THAT IT IS FINANCIALLY

RUINOUS."

In addition to hating conservatives, John McCain's career has been defined in large

part by his lust to censor political speech and restrict the First Amendment.

McCain's signature legislation – the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform Act of 2002 – imposed

strict limits on donations and the time frame under which political ads can air.

The 2010 Citizens United decisions restored the First Amendment in America.

2010 also saw an explosion of regular citizens forming Tea Party groups to protest the Obama

administration's socialist agenda.

The Obama administration great scandal was weaponizing every facet of the federal government

to suppress political opposition.

Obama ran the government like a dictator who operated a communist nation behind Russia's

Iron Curtain.

The Department of Justice and the FBI spied on the Trump campaign.

And the IRS's attack dogs were unleashed on conservative groups exercising the fundamental

American value of political speech.

This is where McCain and Obama's interests dovetailed.

McCain and Obama colluded to crush Tea Party 501c(4) groups because they both needed to

stamp out conservative opposition heading into 2016.

Obama wanted to eliminate as much political opposition to Hillary Clinton as possible

and McCain needed to kneecap the Tea Party groups' ability to unmask his two-faced

record of treachery to the voters of Arizona.

McCain spent years running as a Republican.

But it was all a lie.

The real John McCain colluded with the Obama administration to terrorize the very same

voters McCain was asking to support him.
