Waching daily Jun 2 2018

Born Henry Charles Albert David in 1984, the Duke of Sussex has come a long way since his

party boy days.

He's now settled down with Meghan Markle and has to be an upstanding member of the royal

family.

Part of that responsibility is knowing how to manage money, but, spoiler alert: he'll

be fine.

From his multiple inheritances to his wife's substantial wealth, let's add it all up to

see how much Prince Harry is really worth.

From mom

Following her tragic passing in 1997, Princess Diana's will ensured that her two sons and

their families would be set up for life through a Discretionary Fund.

According to The Balance, the fund managed assets such as intellectual property, apparel,

and accumulated income.

Additionally, an estate was created for Prince William and Prince Harry and held in trust

until their 30th birthdays, and by that time, the estate had reportedly grown to $16 million.

Diana's sons both started receiving dividends when they turned 25, earning Harry $450,000

a year, according to Esquire.

The brothers also inherited their mother's private jewelry collection, though its value

remains unknown to this day.

Great-grandma and grandma

When great-grandma Queen Mother Elizabeth Bowes Lyon passed in 2002, she bequeathed

her estate to her only living child, Queen Elizabeth the second.

However, $18 million was left to Prince William and Harry to share, and since the rules pertaining

to the British monarchy's money are complicated, the bulk of that dough went into a trust for

Harry.

Why not William?

According to the Express, since the Duchy of Cornwall will pass to William when Charles

becomes king, Harry won't inherit any of that money.

When it comes to grandma Queen Elizabeth the second, it stands to reason that Harry will

inherit at least some of her wealth when she passes.

The royal family isn't big on discussing money, but according to BBC, in 2002 the queen inherited

her mother's entire estate, which was valued at $93 million at the time.

Forbes reported that the Queen has an estimated net worth of $500 million.

Duchy allowance

Let's go back to the Duchy of Cornwall.

According to the Express, the revenues from the estate include a staggering $6.8 million

annual allowance to cover, quote, "the costs of staffing, travel and the official wardrobes"

of Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and now Meghan Markle.

According to a 2016 article in the New Zealand Herald, Harry spent roughly $135,000 traveling

with his staff to Brazil and Chile.

Army paychecks

Military service for members of the British royal family is not required, but Harry completed

a 10-year career in the British Army in 2015.

He published a piece in The Times about his experience in Afghanistan, writing, in part,

"I saw some horrendous things: the tragic injuries and deaths of local people from roadside

bombs, some of whom were children; coalition forces lying on the battlefield; and the constant

ferrying of injured personnel to the hospital.

[…] See it, smell it, hear it, feel it, there was no escaping it."

According to Fortune, his salary was $45,000 per year.

Wealthy wife

Now that Meghan Markle is an official member of the royal family, her life will change

in a big way, but make no mistake, she wasn't looking for a sugar daddy she's rich on her

own.

The Duchess of Sussex walked away with a tidy sum from her time on the USA series Suits,

where Markle reportedly earned $50,000 per episode.

According to the Daily Mail, she's accumulated an estimated $5 million over the span of her

acting career.

Though she's no longer acting, Markle's economic power is greater than ever.

According to The New York Times,

"[She] could contribute [about $209 million] annually simply to British fashion in the

form of unofficial endorsements."

Thanks, dad

First in line to the throne, Prince Charles has generated a substantial fortune during

his lifetime.

According to Business Insider, he has a reported net worth of $100 million with some estimates

as high as $400 million.

The vast majority of his wealth flows from the Duchy of Cornwall, which paid him $25

million in 2016.

That same year, his total assets reached nearly $1.3 billion.

Prince Charles is also an entrepreneur, founding Duchy Originals, an organic food company,

in 1990.

At some point down the line, Prince Harry and his brother will likely split the bulk

of their father's tremendous wealth.

Combined net worth

Now that we know how Harry and Meghan earned their money, let's figure out their combined

net worth following their historic wedding.

The Duchess of Sussex brings about $5 million to the table, but what's in her husband's

wallet depends on who you ask.

Money reported that while there are many guesses out there, the conservative estimate right

now is $25 million.

"Boom."

It's safe to say that these newlyweds are probably worth at least $30 million... with

much more to come.

Yeah, they'll be just fine.

Why the Winning Spelling Bee Word, 'Koinonia,' Is So Easy for Christians - Duration: 5:02.

Why the Winning Spelling Bee Word, 'Koinonia,' Is So Easy for Christians

After the typical litany of obscure and clunky terms at this year's Scripps National Spelling Bee championships—bewusstseinslagen ousted one top competitor—the final word actually rang familiar to Christian viewers.

Koinonia was the winning word for the bee's champion, 14-year-old speller Karthik Nemmani.

A Greek word defined as "spiritual community," it's better known to believers as a term used to refer to Christian fellowship, or communion itself.

Karthik, who beat out more than 500 fellow spellers during the most competitive bee in history, said he knew the spelling of the final word as soon as the official pronouncer read it.

And so did many Christians who recognized the word from church life: It's been used to name coffee shops, youth groups, worship bands, retreats, summer camps, and other ministries.

"If you grew up evangelical in the 90s you can totally spell koinonia because you had a crush on the drummer for a youth group band by that name," joked author Rachel Held Evans on Twitter.

Christianity Today has reported on Koinonia Farms, an intentional community in Georgia that went on to launch Habit for Humanity, as well as Koinonia House, an aftercare program for previously incarcerated women.

Christians have adopted the word koinonia from the Greek New Testament, where it is translated as fellowship, communion, or partnership.

It's the word behind verses such as Acts 2:45, where the early church "devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship," and Philippians 1:5, when Paul prays with joy of "partnership in the gospel." The late evangelical scholar John Stott preached on the term: That's the Greek word koinonia.

It comes from the adjective koinos that means "common." Koinonia bears witness to what we have in common and what we share as Christian men and women and young people.

It bears witness to two complementary truths.

First, koinonia expresses what we share in together, what we have received together, what we participate in together.

That is the grace of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

So the apostle John, at the beginning of his first letter, says, "Our fellowship [koinonia] is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ"… But koinonia also bears witness to what we share outward together—not only what we receive together, but what we give together. Koinonia is the word that Paul uses of the collection that he was organizing from the Greek churches for the benefit of the poverty-stricken churches in Judea.

And koinonikos, the adjective, means "generous."   This year's spelling bee finals also included the word pseudepigrapha, which comes up in Christian scholarly circles to refer to non-canonical writings said to be authored by biblical figures.

(The speller aced that one too.) Koinonia is not the first Christian-tinged term to conclude the annual competition.

Back in 2009, the winning word was Laodicean, meaning indifferent or halfhearted.

It also shows up in the book of Revelation, which addresses the church of Laodicea.

iPhone X 2018 news : More proof that Apple is making a budget X with big screen ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:38.

APPLE looks set to slash the price of its high-end iPhone X to make that notch display

affordable for more people this year.

Apple has had plenty of leaks that suggest it is working on a budget version of its iPhone

X, code named N84, and now that has received some solid support.

The new affordable iPhone will apparently be one of three new iPhone X style notch screen

handsets.

While the other two are expected to feature OLED displays, this one should use LCD.

An LCD screen is more affordable for Apple to produce and is what all its iPhones featured

until the new £999 iPhone X added the more expensive OLED tech.

The new N84 affordable iPhone is also expected to be made with an aluminium frame, as opposed

to the current steel chassis, to further cut costs.

Apple is expected to include a glass back on the new budget iPhone X so as to offer

wireless charging on the device.

According to rumours so far, we should expect three iPhone X style phones with a refresh

on the current 5.8-inch OLED model, a new 6.5-inch OLED model and this affordable LCD

model rumoured to feature a 6.1-inch screen.

Apple is also expected to launch a smaller and more affordable iPhone SE2.

This is expected to remain the same size as the current iPhone SE but with the edge-to-edge

notch display of the iPhone X plus a glass back for wireless charging.

Apple is due to launch its four new iPhones around September time if it roughly sticks

to the usual reveal schedule, which can vary based on manufacturing issues.

Apple now needs to compete with the likes of the OnePlus 6 which offers high-end specs

at low prices.

It also wants to appeal in China where large screened and affordable handsets are popular

and readily available from Chinese manufacturers.

What is wrong? (15) (Grammar Practice) [ ForB English Lesson ] - Duration: 2:17.

Hi everyone!

Welcome to ForB's English lesson videos.

I'm Rianna, and today, I'm going to give you a sentence and I'd like you to find the mistake.

Are you ready?

We discussed about our long-term plans.

We discussed about our long-term plans.

Did you catch it?

This time, I'll say it more slowly.

We discussed about our long-term plans.

We discussed about our long-term plans.

Did you find the mistake?

This time, I'll show you the sentence.

Are you ready?

We discussed about our long-term plans.

The mistake is "discussed about".

We do not say "discuss about".

We only say "discuss".

The reason behind this is "to discuss" means "to talk about" something.

So, if you say "to discuss about" it means "to talk about about".

It sounds redundant or repeating.

Let's practice the correct sentence together.

Please repeat after me.

We discussed our long-term plans.

We discussed our long-term plans.

Wonderful!

This is a very common mistake so please be careful when you use the verb "discuss" next time.

Sermon Clip: "The person that is now being offended is no human being, but God." - Duration: 2:50.

He doesn't care about the reputation that he's got in the eyes of men,

he only cares what his reputation is in the eyes of God.

And this is where we get messed up,

because you live a life every day

where all you care about is what people think about you.

What men and women think about you,

what they testify about you, what they say about you.

And Jesus' only desire in life is to please the Father, not you.

And we've got that all messed up.

We spend our life trying to figure out how to please people.

The only person - listen to me,

the only person that Jesus does not want to offend

is God.

He doesn't care about offending people.

He doesn't care that Caiaphas, the high priest, is about to have a crisis of faith

because this guy won't talk to him, he won't say anything,

"Aren't you going to defend yourself?" He stays silent.

Why?

Because Jesus doesn't care about his reputation in the world of men.

He only cares about his reputation in the world and what God thinks about him.

And that frees him up to be anything.

That frees him up to do whatever.

Your weakness is -- all you care about is what people think of you

and you don't care if you offend God.

This is one of the big problems of our culture.

See, this is where your theology begins to evolve and change.

You read in the text and you go - okay, at home there's supposed to be different gender roles.

there's equality of essence,

but there's roles that are different.

And the husbands are supposed to do this,

and wives are supposed to do this,

and we go, "We don't really like that anymore."

"So we're going to shift it up because we don't want to offend."

Then we read about sexuality,

that male and female are supposed to be this in the context of marriage

and then you have sex in the context of marriage, but outside of it it's a violation

and those who are sexually immoral, Paul says in Galatians 6

won't inherit the Kingdom of God,

and we read all of that and we go, "Oh man, I don't know about that."

So then we start to adapt it because we don't want to offend people.

And we don't want to offend ourselves.

And so we start adapting our theology

and we forget that the person that is now being offended

is no human beings, but God is.

But you don't care.

'Cause God can handle it.

And we have a church world

that has left the only one offended being God himself,

who told you what to do about all that stuff in the scriptures - clear as day.

It just says, "Here, do this."

You don't even need the Holy Spirit to give you a special message about stuff.

Sometimes it's in the text, just read the text.

It just says here's what it is.

Here's what sexuality is, here's how to do money, it's just there.

Skype Is Taking Forever - Duration: 1:51.

hi everyone in this video we are going to talk about Skype for business and how

sometimes it can take forever for it to load or actually it just doesn't open at

all and some of you have told me that you restart your machine you log out to

log back in just taking time and being frustrated in the morning when you want

everything to get to just open up and get up and running so I'm gonna come

down here with my cursor to the very very very right hand corner of my

desktop screen and click and that's a fun trick to get everything that you

have open all of your windows to minimize automatically or all at once so

right now my skype is actually running just fine but this is gonna work either

way I'm going to have you Control Alt Delete on the keyboard you won't see it

in this screencast but you get the lock switch users sign out change password that

whole list little menu list I'm going to click task manager you may not see all

of this you may just see kind of what you have running if that's the case

click that little down arrow and get the whole whole menu and you won't see Skype

for business if yours has not opened and started correctly like mine has so

you'll have to come down to the background processes you're going to

scroll Scroll scroll until you find Skype for business highlight it and end

task once you do that you can go ahead and try to reopen your Skype and nine

times out of ten it's going to open just fine so it's a lot quicker I hope that

works for you
