Waching daily Jun 15 2018

Each and every day more people are trying to care for themselves more be it in terms

of health, beauty, hygiene, or other ways.

When it has to do with beauty, makeup is the most known beauty product.

The makeup industry is a billion dollar one, making products to cater to both women and

men's vanity.

Today there are infinite makeup products such foundations, blushes, and lipsticks.

But have you ever stopped to think about how these apparently inoffensive products can

affect your health?

In today's video we're going to show you some of the health risks associated with different

types of makeup products:

They can make your body toxic with heavy metals

Research has shown that using powder on your face when you're pregnant causes milk contamination

and harms breastfed children with large and unhealthy doses of toxic metals.

Another study performed in 1991 showed that pencil eyeliner contains high amounts of lead.

They can harm your skin

If you wear makeup to hide acne you actually might be making it worse.

These products do not help your skin and even end up clogging up your pores with several

harmful substances such as:

Cadmium Cadmium is a heavy metal that, according to

studies, can cause kidney failure, bone disease, and even cancer.

Researchers believe that cadmium becomes toxic well below the limits set by the WHO.

Toluene Toluene is mostly used as a paint thinner

and can cause damage to your nervous system and lead to neurological disorders such as

dementia.

This substance can be found in nail products and also in some hair dyes.

Benzophenones These are used in products that protect against

UV rays: perfumes, shampoos, and conditioners.

An article published in the magazine "Dermatitis" states that benzophenones can cause allergic

reactions such as rashes and even anaphylactic shock.

Lead Lead is a heavy metal present in a large number

of makeup products, especially those with more pigment such as eye shadows, lipsticks,

eyeliners and even baby lotions.

Lead is highly toxic when it enters your bloodstream and can cause neurological disorders, infertility,

and even cancer.

In 2012 the FDA found lead in 400 different brands of lipsticks, in higher amounts than

what was considered safe.

Parabens Parabens are preservatives added to cosmetics

to prevent the growth of bacteria.

They are widely used in perfumes and colognes, but can also be found in shampoos and conditioners.

These substances are considered to be potential endocrine disrupters and have already been

found in tissues with breast cancer.

Baby powder Baby powder, in its natural form contains

asbestos which, according to several surveys, can cause different types of cancer, such

as ovarian cancer.

While most people believe that beauty products don't contain significant amounts of these

harmful substances, regular use may end up causing health problems.

If you enjoy wearing makeup, read the labels carefully and avoid products that contain

these substances.

And remember, too much of anything can be bad for you.

Alexandra Burke shocks fans by cancelling entire The Truth Is UK tour as 'timing wasn't right'

Alexandra Burke has cancelled her entire The Truth Is UK tour, claiming that the "timing wasn't right".

The Strictly Come Dancing star had been due to perform up and down the country in September, but has now pulled out of the entire run.

Posting a cryptic message on her Twitter account on Thursday night, Burke said that she would be rescheduling more live shows in the "future", but didn't say whether or not the actual tour would be going ahead.

She wrote: "I just got back from the UK after a few days away. Im really sorry to announce that sadly I had to cancel The Truth Is tour in September. The timing just wasnt right.

"Im really sorry to anyone who has been inconvenienced by this decision. I love performing more than anything and cant wait to reschedule more live shows in the future.".

She added: "There will be more news coming from me soon. Thank you for all your support and understanding.".

A statement on her website read: "It is with great disappointment that due to scheduling issues we must inform you of the cancellation of the The Truth Is tour.

"Full refunds will be issued to all of those who have purchased tickets. Ticket holders will be contacted directly via the point of purchase. We apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of this decision.".

Burke has been busy since her appearance on the BBC dancing show at the end of last year, having just completed a stint in the West End revival of Chess.

She had an emotional journey through Strictly as her mother died just a few weeks before the series started. She celebrated her engagement to husband-to-be Josh Ginnelly last weekend, with the pair expected to tie the knot next year.

✅ This modified Toyota Lite Ace is awesome and here's why - Duration: 3:25.

Having fallen into a slightly JDM-shaped hole on the internet one evening, a couple of things popped up

And then became one of those tiny obsessions for a few days. Weird Japanese minivans

It started by spotting a local Mitsubishi Delica 4x4  - a 'Space Gear Chamonix' no less - and developed into a bit of light research into these odd little semi-commercials

Now the Delica is a cab-over range of commercial/MPV vehicles that's been around since the late '60s in Japan

Delica is a contraction of 'Delivery Car', and they started out as urban commercials designed to meet city size regulations, but it's the later all-wheel drive variants that are really interesting

The four-wheel drive versions first appeared in 982 in Japan, basically using a tweaked version of the Shogun/Pajero chassis, albeit with smaller,

8-litre motors. So they're robust, and you can get bigger, badder off-roady bits for them

Plenty got converted into chunky campers, although the original modest-ish dimensions mean they aren't as aggressive as a full-house SUV

There's a slightly strange following for them, and some of the extreme custom jobs are completely wild

But then I started looking at the Toyota Lite Ace, and came across Yota Imports in the USA, a company that specialises in importing the usual Land Cruisers, but also some of the Lite Ace/Town Ace minivans that are the Toyota analogue of the Delica

And more specifically, a car they have for sale that looks like a sports shoe.  It's a Lite Ace '9 four-pot turbodiesel, right-hand drive, five-speed manual with four-wheel drive and low-ratio 'box

So a pretty perfect mechanical package. But it's had a few tweaks, and it makes it awesome

When you actually look at the spec, it's not a Singer-esque 're-imagining', but the eye for the overall aesthetic is about perfect

The 'Skylite' roof (lots of glass) and side windows have been blended with tints, some off-road dampers, springs, wheels and tyres have been added, and a simple-but-brilliant vinyl wrap suddenly make it look like a full-size toy

It's got the three-position, three-row interior seating for ultimate versatility, and if you go easy on the trail bashing, would make for a really happy little overnight camper, or alternative to the usual box of a people carrier

Ok, so it's not exactly cheap at just under $20k, but what price exclusivity? I'd do it…

Ellie Is The Only Playable Character In Last of Us 2. - Duration: 3:14.

Hello Guy's And Wellcome To My Channel GamesTalk.

In This Video We Are Going To Talk About Ellie Is The Only Playable Character In Last of Us 2.

There may be change on the horizon for The Last of Us Part II as developers at Naughty

Dog cryptically tease that Ellie might be the game's only playable character.

With 2013's original being a two-part gameplay experience where fans controlled both Ellie

and the hardened survivor Joel, fans again find themselves asking the unthinkable, "Is

Joel about to be killed off?"

Despite Joel (voiced by Troy Baker) being the lead of The Last of Us up until players

took control of Ellie in the winter segment, the sequel has already pushed focus onto her

expanded role while Joel has sat on the sidelines.

Despite there being little to go on up until E3's beautiful trailer for The Last of Us

Part II, various fan theories have already tipped Joel for an early grave.

As the game's developers weigh in on the issue, it looks more and more likely that Joel will

be back for a cameo as best in Part II.

Speaking behind closed doors (via IGN), designer Richard Cambier delivered the generic, We

arent saying anything about that yet" when asked if Ellie will be the only playable character.

Although Cambier offered nothing for patient fans to go on, creative director Neil Druckmann

went a little further and boldly declared, Ellie is the only playable character in

the game.

While this doesn't necessarily mean Joel is six-feet under, it implies that if he is a

part of the story campaign, it will be a role reversal of his relationship with Ellie in

the original.

Admittedly, Druckmann could be using a sleight of hand to throw players off the scent and

lead to sensationalist headlines that Joel is definitely dead.

The other option is that he has chosen his words carefully and Ellie really is the only

playable character, giving an option for Joel to be playable in a DLC - possibly to even

tell the story of how he came to die or fill in the blanks between the first game and Part

II.

Either way, Joel is part of the game somewhere as Baker recently said the title's playtest

was "looking awesome."

Heading back to 2016's PlayStation Experience trailer for The Last of Us Part II, many picked

up on Joel's strange phrasing when he said to Ellie, you really going to go through

with this? instead of using "we."

There are theories that Joel is simply there as a ghostly visage to guide her and the pistol

he carries is actually the one he used to kill himself.

It all sounds pretty bleak but would certainly be in keeping with the game's dark aesthetic.

Elsewhere, audiences saw Ellie sharing a kiss with Shannon Woodward's Dina in the E3 reveal,

but Druckmann seemingly reduces her to also being an NPC addition.

With Druckmann apparently confirming Ellie is the only playable character, The Last of

Us Part II could be a much lonelier game for fans.

Considering there is still no release date for The Last of Us Part II, the agonizing

wait to see what role Joel and has in the game continues.

What is the Orgasm Shot, or O-Shot? - Duration: 1:42.

Hi, I'm Dr. Derrick Bowling

and many of my female friends have complained that they leak urine when they cough, sneeze,

laugh, and especially when they're being active like running, jumping, or even just playing with their kids.

There are a lot of things that can be tried to help with this,

such as, limiting water intake or doing Kegel exercises,

but these only work for a few. You can take medication to help, but often this causes dry mouth, constipation,

Or can even make you feel foggy headed.

So I wanted to talk to you about a procedure called the O-shot, which uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP,

to be injected to stop the incontinence.

What happens when we do the O-shot in our office, is first you apply a topical numbing cream

benzocaine, lidocaine, and tetracaine, awesome stuff, and

then we draw your blood and place it in a special machine called a centrifuge.

What this does is it spins the blood at really high rpms and separates out the components,

so we're left with a small portion called the platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, and then using a very very

tiny needle, we inject the PRP into the vagina and in the clitoris.

Okay, you may be thinking no way is someone putting an injection in my clitoris.

To be certain our patients are completely comfortable,

I can also do a lidocaine nerve block to completely numb the area and thanks to the numbing cream

you've already used, this shouldn't hurt either.

Some women report that their symptoms stop immediately and for others it can take several days.

Consider this procedure for you. It's not perfect,

but it works in about 80% of women to a point where their symptoms

are significantly diminished or completely resolved.

Give us a call

Jose Gimenez is the hero for Uruguay.Egypt vs Uruguay Highlights! - Duration: 3:40.

Jose Gimenez is the hero for Uruguay.Egypt vs Uruguay Highlights!

Jose Maria Gimenez sparred Luis Suarez's blushes as Uruguay struck late to claim a 1-0 win over Egypt in their Group A opener.

The Atletico Madrid defender headed home Carlos Sanchez's 89th-minute free-kick as Oscar Tabarez's side laboured their way to victory in a match which Suarez ought to have put out of sight much earlier.

Uruguay, pre-tournament dark horses, were unable to impose themselves on an Egypt side who offered next to nothing to test them without their talismanic forward Mohamed Salah, left on the bench as he continues to recover from the shoulder injury he suffered in the Champions League Final.

Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur allowed Uruguay to dictate the midfield battle but when La Celeste got into the final third.

Edinson Cavani could scarcely get on the ball – he only touched it 17 times in the first half – whilst when it came to Luis Suarez nothing went right.

A free-kick from 25 yards out crashed into the wall and even when he got closer in Suarez couldn't take his chances.

A corner from the right evaded everyone but the Barcelona forward, who, from less than six yards out, contrived to volley into the side-netting.

Indeed it seemed that only Diego Godin was aware he was playing in a World Cup game.

Of course he kept the Egyptian attack at bay but such were his side's struggles he felt compelled to step into midfield, driving past two defenders before slipping in a perfectly-judged through ball for Giorgian De Arrascaeta.

His first touch sent the ball fizzing out for a goal kick.

Suarez's struggles continued into the second half, when goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy blocked his volley after Edinson Cavani had pounced on an error by Ahmed Hegazi.

As Uruguay's struggles intensified Egypt grew more optimistic on the break, a pot-shot from right back Ahmed Fathy well held by Fernando Muslera.

Seconds later Suarez had his big chance, once more played in behind by Cavani.

One-on-one with El-Shenawy all that was needed was a shot but Suarez, he of 152 club goals in the last four years, panicked and ran the ball straight into the goalkeeper's arms.

Cavani provided more incision but his crisp volley from the edge of the box was not enough to beat El-Shenawy.

Even when the Egypt goalkeeper was beaten luck was not on Uruguay's side, as the Paris Saint-Germain striker's free-kick did not quite curl back enough.

That effort inspired Uruguay to raise their intensity in the closing minutes and they got their reward in the dying minutes as Gimenez outjumped Elneny to earn three vital points that took his country level on points with hosts Russia at the top of Group A.

The Students Have to Work Hard, But the Outcome is Well Worth It | Adam Houston, CAO Graduate - Duration: 1:01.

- My name's Adam Houston.

I'm a teacher here at the CAO.

Right now, I am helping out with a course

called Practice and Development.

It's a great opportunity for the kids

to take what they've learned

and expand it and kind of make it their own.

The CAO is a pioneer in looking

at principles and philosophies

and not just learning algorithms and specific details.

It's not cookie-cutter,

it's letting them think personally on their own

to solve a problem.

The curriculum at the CAO is extremely in-depth.

It's not about just knowing

the general aspects of a bone or a muscle.

To really understand that bone or that muscle

and how to treat it properly,

we need that depth of knowledge.

Without that, we miss a ton of the information.

The curriculum is intense, it is in-depth.

The students have to work hard,

but the outcome is well worth it

and they see it firsthand.

(upbeat music)

Isla Palenque: "What is there to do at Isla Palenque?" - Duration: 1:08.

So you're on an island do I get bored? do I run out of things to do? I don't think so!

First of all you want to relax on that

island, because it really invites you just be in your hammock, explore the

beaches and just kind of hang out. But if you want to do things there's lots of

hiking, there's lots of water activities like stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking,

of course swimming, scuba diving. We have a wonderful island hopping tour

where you visit islands in the nearby Marine National Park, which is an

absolute must for everybody that comes. We have a tour that's called secrets of

the island where we explore the archeological artifacts that can be

found on the island and if you have a little bit more time we also recommend a

trip up to the volcano in Boquete; it's a coffee growing region not too far, it's

a full day trip but but really worth if you want to explore a little bit the

other parts near David and Chiriqui.

Why working at NASA is amazing | Michelle Thaller - Duration: 4:59.

Michelle Thaller: Hey Eleya, thank you for asking me about my day.

What do I do at NASA.

One of the things that I love about being a scientist is that I don't really have

a typical day; I do lots of different things.

So for example, one of my duties at NASA is thinking about the communications, thinking

about all of our websites and our Twitter accounts and our Instagram feeds all of the

ways that we get our information out to the public.

Right now at NASA we have over 100 active science missions, everything from rovers on

Mars to the Hubble Space Telescope, to missions to Jupiter, to earth science missions that

are tracking, for example, how the ice is melting in Greenland.

And every single one of those 100 missions is putting out wonderful information and making

discoveries.

And I want people to know about them.

I want people to meet the scientists that are doing this wonderful work.

So I actually try to manage all of the different information that's coming in from all these

missions find a good way to get it out to the public.

And then I track and see how many people are liking us on Facebook, and "Was that press

release particularly successful?"

So I'm a scientist that has specialized in communications.

Sometimes I go on trips, I'll be doing talks, for example, at a conference somewhere in

Europe.

I actually love coming to the United Kingdom.

Sometimes rarely for me, but I still do some scientific research, so I've been to telescopes

all over the world.

When I was getting my doctorate I mainly used telescopes that were in Australia and South

America and also in Arizona at Kitt Peak, and I used things like the Hubble Space Telescope.

So sometimes you're actually traveling somewhere to make your own discoveries and then going

back to your office with your data and working on all of the different measurements you took

and trying to make discoveries out of that.

It's also very important for scientist to share their discoveries.

If you make a wonderful discovery at a telescope but nobody ever hears about it, then that

was basically a waste of time and money for you to do that.

So we write about our discoveries in scientific journals, other scientists read them, and

then we can collaborate and science moves forward, because we always work together as

a group.

And nothing in science happens individually, you're always working with people.

So you're going to meetings, you're talking about strategy: "How are we going to fund

a new spacecraft?"

We've just been on a wonderful observing campaign where we observed a new kind of star,

"What happens next?

Who is going to make follow up discoveries?"

One of the things I love about being a scientist is working with really passionate, wonderful,

friendly people and planning how we're going to continue the science that we started.

So I love not having a typical day.

My husband, for example, is an engineer and he actually builds and tests spacecraft.

So normally in his day he's wearing something called a clean suit and that is a white plastic

suit that covers all of you, your hair, your face and everything, so that as you work on

spacecraft the spacecraft keep entirely clean.

And he always texts me on his iPhone a little bunny symbol when he's putting on his bunny

suit.

We call that a bunny suit, your clean suit.

So he's always building and testing spacecraft.

I do you have friends who are astronauts, and the astronauts will spend their day often

training for a mission.

And this is wonderful to watch.

I've had a chance to watch some of this.

One of the best ways you can train for working in zero gravity—actually floating around

in space—is you train in water because water allows astronauts to float as if they were

weightless.

And so in Houston we have an entire full-sized mock up of the space station in a giant pool

of water.

And the astronauts go down in spacesuits to practice how they're going to fix the space

station or how they're going to install a new instrument on the outside.

And so you can actually watch them going underwater with a team of divers to help them and make

sure that they're safe and practicing what they're going to do in space.

So there's a wonderful range of things to do.

I mean I joke and it really is true that I bet 80 percent of my job is the same as practically

any other job.

There are meetings, there are budgets, there are weekly reports to do, there's answering

email, there's all kinds of stuff that isn't very dramatic.

But what has never escaped me, as far as being scientist, is that sometimes it's absolutely

brilliant.

You walk into a room and there are scientists talking about the latest discovery and it

blows your mind.

Or you watch astronauts training for their mission or you get a chance to go to a telescope

all by yourself and make a discovery nobody else has ever made.

So maybe my job is 80 percent mundane, the same as everybody else, but there's 20 percent

of creativity and brilliance and working with the best people I know.

And that's the real reason I love being a scientist.
