Seriously: Queen For a Day - Duration: 6:25.Hello friends. There is a very interesting story in this week's issue
about Drag Queen Story Hour, which is a program started out in San Francisco in
which drag queens read stories to children. Two local drag queens, Emoji
Nightmare and Nikki Champagne have been bringing this initiative right here to
Vermont, most recently in Jeffersonville at the Varnum Memorial Library, and it
looks pretty cool. But it also got me thinking you know with Halloween right
around the corner there's probably more gender-bending going on than usual and
if you're already a drag queen it's probably amateur hour out there. Right?
So I thought it would be helpful to show how much work actually goes into
becoming a drag queen by inviting one on the show. Hi Emoji. Thank you so much for
coming in. So what do you need for your presentation? Do you need a projector or
anything? I think I just need you to sit down. I would like to watch the presentation too, if possible.
Oh, no no no, we're gonna make you the presentation today. Oh shit.
Elmer's washable school glue.
And so you set it with powder.
Eyebrows are glued and have been set with powder.
Just doing a base layer of foundation.
We're doing orange over the mustache.
So we've just completed a base layer of foundation.
We're going to do contouring. Ah yes, contouring.
Still contouring, but the nose.
We've completed step 3, which was contouring.
So now we've down the dark tones, we're gonna do some light tones with highlights.
Basic highlights.
How does the drag community feel about "Mrs. Doubtfire?"
Keep em open.
Thus completes step 5, the eyes.
So that was step 6, blush with a little shimmer highlight.
What flavor of Lip Smackers is this? It's cherry.
Alright, that was step 7, the lips.
I'm gonna give you a little mole.
Alright, that's the end of step 8, the finishing touches of the face.
The next step is picking out a dress and having your buddy zip ya up. Oooh, it's tight.
Emoji has decided my bust isn't quite up to snuff, so we're gonna do some subtle contouring.
Ladies, gentlemen and other folks: I present to you, Brooke Club Nightmare.
I feel beautiful. So beautiful. I'm gonna go read books to people. No no no no no.
"Amazingly Sandy agrees to come to more sessions. The counselor then works with
them on an agreement to set up times for Jeff to see the children. They both spent
some council time listening to how the children may be
struggling and what they, as parents, can do."
"So, you want normal all the time? What's wrong with abnormal? Supernormal? Why should we use human powers to
explore our human fantasies?"
"Joe let out a laugh. You don't have a cell —" Hey, what are you doing?! I am working. I'm working here.
Emoji, I just feel like I'm not reaching anyone. Have you tried children?
"Ultimately, the capitol alcove meeting between Leahy and Muller would send out
four strong shoots, each quickly gathering strength and reach. First, Bobby Muller worked
Washington from the advocate side, eventually putting together in funding
Emoji, I tried to read the people and they all just seemed really annoyed with me.
Probably because being a drag queen is not
just about reading to people, it's about more than that. It's gender exploration.
It's having fun. It's being a mirror reflecting back to the community.
That helps so much. Thanks Emoji! Slay Queen!

Questions For Trump Voters And A Former Catholic Bishop Who 'Almost' Endorsed Donald Trump - Duration: 2:19.Questions For Trump Voters And A Former Catholic Bishop Who 'Almost' Endorsed Donald Trump
1 Do you think our country is going in the right direction or the wrong direction? I believe it is heading in the wrong direction.
Of the two candidates running for president, and of all of the candidates running for elective office, whether federal, state or local, which ones will continue to lead us in the current direction or which are more likely to restore justice in those areas that cry out for such a restoration? 3.
Which ones are willing to lead us in a direction that is more pro life, more pro family and more pro truth? Which ones will recognize and respect the role of religion in the lives of citizens and the Church's right to mediate the truths of the Gospel and the Church's teaching as part of the public life of our country, in public ministries like health care, education and charitable works, without being forced to adopt and facilitate those cultural practices that are not consonant with Church teaching?.
One year later I have three questions for Bishop Murphy, parishioners who voted for Donald Trump, and for workingmen and women in general.
1 Is interference with the reproductive freedom of women such a transcendent issue that it "eclipses" Donald Trump's irrational position on climate change, his saber rattling and threat of nuclear war, his proposed cuts in health care for the poor, his attacks on immigrant communities, his anti-union appointments, and his incendiary remarks promoting racial, ethnic, and religious division?.
2 Are the people of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the world, better off today because of the election of Donald Trump?. 3 Do you still believe the election of Donald Trump has pushed the United States in the "right direction"?.

Is Remote Support/Monitoring for Everyone? - Duration: 0:33.No remote monitoring isn't the perfect service for everyone and in this example
the person requires a lot of physical total support. So lifting things,
positioning this may not be the best service for someone who really needs
that physical hands-on assistance. So like we always say in our other
educational programs about services not every service is a perfect fit for
everybody and that's a good thing to keep in mind.

FREE Berkeley Date Spots for Broke College Kids - Duration: 1:59.Hey, I'm Samantha Cox-Parra
and I'm Coleman Myers, and we've been dating for the last three and a half years
So we know the good old Netflix and chill
NETFLIX AND CHILL
Can be a classic fallback "date"
But today we're gonna get off the couch and try out some
First on our list is a date with some furry friends
Taking a quick trip to the Berkeley Humane Society
is a great date spot, because not only is playing with cute little kittens free
but their adoption fees might even be waived
You might just come home with a new friend
Next up is a trip to the UC Botanical Gardens,
Where admission is free for students
You can definitely get lost walking and talking through the beautiful scenery
So make sure to pick up a map!
I would recommend a romantic stroll through the Garden of Old Roses
As well as a visit to the magnificent Redwood Grove
Another fun and free date idea is simply walking around
one of the music stores on Telegraph
If you're just getting to know eachother, this date spot will definitely
keep the conversations flowing as you explore eachother's musical and movie interests
If you're too busy to get off campus,
Meet up for a casual campus date on the glade
I personally love to people-watch and the glade is a great spot to sit
and take in the beauty of our bustling campus
To top off your date, we'd recommend heading somewhere with a view
like the Lawrence Hall lookout
where you can watch the sun set over the entire bay area
Or you could just head straight to the bay itself
The Berkeley Marina is another great spot to watch the sun set
and take in the soothing smell of the ocean
So if you're a broke college student like we are,
you should try out one of these date ideas with your next Tinder match
And who knows, you might even get lucky...
G-G-G-GET LUCKY
This has been Samantha
and Coleman
for CalTV Entertainment!
