Russia carried out a successful test of its RS-28 Sarmt nuclear missile as part of Zapad-2017

on Thursday night, the country's defense ministry said.

The exercise, known as Zapad-2017, is the latest iteration of a series of training maneuvers

that began under the Soviet Union in the 1970s.

After a long break following the collapse of communism, Zapad was revived in 1999 and

then was expanded after Vladimir Putin became president at the end of that year.

Zapad, "west" in Russian, used to include military forces from countries under the Warsaw

Pact, the Soviet-led military alliance whose non-Soviet members have now all joined Nato.

Today, the military exercise has shrunk to just two participants — Russia and Belarus

— but it is still viewed warily by military planners in the West.

The rocket, also known as Satan 2 , was fired from the Plestek Cosmodrome and travelled

3,600 miles before hitting a target on the Kura test range.

One official told newspaper Kommersant,"The main aim is to check the rocket's systems

at the moment of leaving the silo, the switching on of the Sarmat's first stage and the following

5 seconds.

It has been developed by Russian missile design company the Makeyev Design Bureau.

In this video, Defense Updates analyses why it the most powerful missile in the world ?

The RS-28 Sarmat is due to replace Soviet R-36M missiles which Nato experts nicknamed

"Satan" meaning the devil.

The R-36M was viewed by US analysts as giving the Soviet Union first strike advantage over

the US.

"Satan 2" is the name given to its more deadly replacement that is the RS-28 Sarmat.

According to the concept of MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction), if the other side knew that

initiating a nuclear strike would also inevitably lead to their own destruction, they will not

initiate a nuclear strike.

So basically MAD prevents a nuclear war.

As United States and NATO are improving their (Ballistic Missile Defense ) BMD systems,

MAD is getting threatened since USA or NATO may be able to intercept Russia's current

nuclear missiles like R-36 Satan.

Sarmat is being designed specifically to penetrate any current or future BMD system.

It is Russia's answer to this strategic problem, and will enable Russia to maintain

the nuclear deterrence vis-à-vis United States and NATO.

According to Russia's military, "'It can beat any defenses' and wipe out entire countries ".

At the end of June 2015, it was reported that the production schedule for the first prototype

of the Sarmat was slipping.

The RS-28 Sarmat was expected to become operational in 2016.

On 10 August 2016, Russia successfully tested the RS-28's first-stage engine named PDU-99

.The first image of this new missile was declassified and unveiled in October 2016.

In May last year it was reported that the production process had been accelerated and

that the missiles would make up 100% of Russia's fixed land-based nuclear arsenal by 2021.

Sarmat uses Liquid Propellant the exact nature of which is classified.

The missile has a speed of over Mach 20.7 .It weigh in at a massive 100 tons, making

it the heaviest missile in the world.

To give viewers a perspective, the US land based strategic missile LGM-30 Minuteman 3,

has a weight of 35 tons approximately.

Speaking to Radio Sputnik, Alexei Leonov a military expert and commercial director of

"Arsenal of the Fatherland" magazine provide insight about the missile.

The military expert emphasized that Sarmat will serve as a reliable deterrent.

Leonkov highlighted the particular interest of the US and European mainstream media towards

the Russian missile, which was dubbed the "devil in disguise", "Satan" and "weapons

of nuclear hell."

Leonov said, "Let them call it what they want.

The [Sarmat] missile system which is about to enter into service is a fifth generation

system.

Its characteristics are so impressive that our opponents have reason to be afraid of

it.

According to some estimates, the missile's striking range is up to 18,000 kilometers

[11,184.6 miles].

It also has a large number of divided parts, from 10 to 15 warheads, each with a capacity

of up to 750 kilotons.

They will fly to their target at hypersonic speeds performing maneuvers so that the existing

American missile defense system would be incapable of intercepting them".

Little Boy atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima had a yield of 15 kt of TNT.

Samrat's cumulative explosive power will be 15 warheads multiply by 750 kt that is

around 11,000 kt of TNT

The Russian news outlet Sputnik reported in May that an RS-28 rocket is "capable of

wiping out parts of the Earth the size of France or Texas".

And by the these figures its seems that the analysis is correct.

Leonov expressed his confidence that the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant will hit its deadline

and Sarmat will enter service on schedule.

Land Based missiles are vulnerable to preemptive strikes and hence Russian experts are going

great lengths to shield it.

The Sarmat's silos will be protected by active protection measures including 100 guns

capable of firing a metallic cloud of 40,000 30 mm bullets to an altitude of up to 6 km.

The Russians are also planning to protect the Sarmat with their new S-500 air defense

systems.

S-500 system can detect incoming ballistic missiles or aircrafts at a range of 2000 km.

It designed to intercept them at a range of 500-600 km.

Finally, the missile's preparation to launch is under 60 seconds utilizing a highly automated

launch system.

All in, the Sarmat will be the best protected silo-based intercontinental ballistic missile

ever put into service worldwide.

SON IS MOVING TO SEOUL! (Viet & Engl Sub) - Duration: 4:05.

Big Announcement! I am moving to SEOUL!

When? Next week! Why? Because I can!

and for how long? For forever!

FOREVER!!!!

So you might have noticed that I have a

new channel now. The old one is closed because of some issues, which I couldn't

deal with anymore.

Alright so the story is that I have finished uni, worked

for a some of time and I thought to myself "Son you always wanted to live in South

Korea. You always wanted to move to Seoul. Before you sign the next contract, before

you start a new work or a new project, you have to move there at one point. So I

started the whole procedures, I applied for my visa, I looked for apartments and

I saved up money. I want to do YouTube full-time and basically

document my entire journey and share it with you guys. Obviously I had to save

up money so I could live off of something if this whole YouTube thing

doesn't work out. I used to live in Hong Kong back in 2013 for my job.

That was my first experience living in Asia and this entire culture, lifestyle and

environment was just so amazing.

(FART)

That I thought to myself, Son this is where you

belong to this is where you want to live. I mean I was born and raised in Europe

but I never felt like home home

So when I lived in Hong Kong, I was there

actually for a longer period and this entire stay confirmed again that I

really just enjoy living in Asia. I feel it a man!

I visited Seoul in 2012.

Back then I was like a crazy crazy fanboy,

(MUSIC)

was obsessed with the music

MUSIC

with the country, with that food, with everything I had even started

studying Korean during my High School courses. I attended evening classes on

top of my normal schedule and I was just obsessed.

I'm not as much of a kpop fan

boy anymore but I am still super interested in the country and the

culture. Since I already speak the language

but like you know have some

basic knowledge of the language I thought you know "Seoul is the first

thing. You can always move to Vietnam." I speak the language, my parents are from there

there we have family that I can always go there. If I wait longer, I'll just

be too old to learn the language I'll be just too old to like learn more things.

That's why I applied for the visa, I bought my tickets and next week

I'll fly. NEXT WEEK ALREADY OMG! Whatever you want me to talk about

regarding my move there. Whatever you want me to see, to try, to show you guys

during my stay in South Korea, comment down below.

Share with me some inspirations.

I do have a fair share of things which I want to talk about my

next few videos

However you know more people means more ideas, means more

creativity, to more exciting videos.

So I am just very excited.

I haven't packed anything yet.

You know I've been traveling a lot the last few

few weeks. So I've kind of developed a routine of packing my things and I know

exactly what I need and what I don't need. So in that perspective it's

not going to be like "Oh my god I need to pack for a year what - shall I pack?"

because I've been doing that for the last weeks a month already anyway

Furthermore I will be posting videos twice a week, starting next month so

watch out for the schedule.Follow me on my new social media channels because I

did change some names. Also I will share a lot of daily stories

On Instagram!

Wish me good luck for my move.

Yeah!!!

I'm so excited. So see you next video and hope you have a nice week.

BYEEEE!!

Virgil van Dijk found Liverpool saga tough but is now happy at Southampton - Maya Yoshida

Van Dijk was heavily linked with a big-money move to Liverpool in the summer. But Southampton stood firm and refused to sell the Holland international, despite him handing in a transfer request at St Mary's.

The 26-year-old centre-half has returned to first-team action in recent weeks after being out with a foot injury since January.

And Yoshida, Van Dijk's partner in the heart of defence, believes the former Celtic man is back to enjoying life at the south coast club.

"He is enjoying every day, I think he smiles a lot" Maya Yoshida Ahead of today's Premier League game with Brighton, Yoshida said: He is good. He is enjoying every day.

I think he smiles a lot. It is very comfortable with him - he never brings any negativity. Thats his future, his decision. But in this moment he is really comfortable, I think.

It is tough for him but the most important thing is he is with us now and he puts everything on it with Southampton. That is the most important [thing].

"Maybe in the future something will happen, but at this moment he gives everything to the club. That is very good..

Jack Ma - DO WHAT IS HARD (Jack Ma Motivation) - Duration: 6:55.

JACK MA: that was the idea so I came back to China and say I want to resign from my

school you were teacher I was a teacher I've been teaching in the university for

six years so I said I want to do it I invited 24 of my friends to my apartment

after two hours of explain what I'm gonna do Internet and 23 of them say

forget it you say this thing never worked because

there's no such thing called internet in the world you know nothing about a

computer so why you want to do this and only one people he said Jack if you want

to try it just to try it but if you're something wrong just to come back and

after whole night thinking I say I still want to do it because most of the people

they have a fancy ideas in the evening but in the date when they wake up in the

evening or in the morning they go back to do the same job we have to do

something different so from there problem is that we have to find a

solution that how we can be a company can live and love and healthy as lies

like a Mercedes Benz and Siemens if an industry cannot live more than three

years if all the companies cannot live happily for three years this industry is

never become the mainstream this industry can never become the deep

economy so what we want to do is that how we can find this solution the world

has changed so fast most people don't realize what is IT what is internet we

are moving very very fast to date technology IT technology and data

technology it's not a technology difference it's the difference of people

the way people think the way people deal with the world we don't know what the

world will look like in 30 years and we don't know what the data will look like

but we are sure that the whole world in next 2 30

we'll be changed if the first and the second innovation and technology

revolution relief or liberate the human stress the physical stress this

revolution relieves a liberal the strength of a human brain the brain the

innovation the future world we believe will be connected not by oil not by

other things but by data's the future world

the business is C to B not B to C C to B is consumer to business not business to

consumer because you have a lot of data because of the data the manufacturer

must do customized things otherwise manufacturer will be very difficult in

the future all the manufacturers they make the machines the machines can not

only produce the products the machines must talk the machine must have think

and the machine is not going to be supported by oil by electricity the

machine is going to be supported by theatres the future world business were

not focusing on the size business will not focus of standardization and the

power they were folks like focused on the flexibility nimbleness customization

and user forensic friendliness and also I strongly believe the future world we

are going to have a lot of women leaders because in the future people not only

focus on the muscles powers they focus on wisdom they focus on Candice and

responsibility

and I think internet must have find the missing part this means in part is how

the clicks and the motors can work it together and how we can making sure is

the next two 30 years the Internet and the clicks or motors can work together

only word clicks and motors can work together Internet companies can survive

can live happily for next to 30 years and if daddy comes that they recalled

the economy and it's gotten it's not a digital economy which I called data

economy everything is going to be changed and I also believe the world is

going to be beautiful but the world is very challenging Apple may not be the

future but Apple tells us what the future will look like that is something

in the machine is moving that is data we are at a great time of innovation

inspiration invention and creativity and I think everybody's working hard try to

realize their dreams today you see here a real reward

real-world workers truck drivers and and again players and also all these senior

people everybody in the ocean aided ocean at times Asian times nobody can

leverage the technology to realize the dreams today because of the data

everything becomes the truth and I strongly believe it's not the technology

that changed the world it's the dreams behind the technology

that changed the world if the technology change of the world I will never be here

I'm not trained to be a teacher but not trained to be technology I know nothing

about a computer and I know very little about the Internet I have a strong dream

that we want to help small business so 14 years ago we come here to sell

Chinese products to Europe that won't work

fourteen years later we try to help the Europeans more

business to China to the world by using the Internet

it's the dreams that drive the world it's not only the technology so ladies

and gentlemen let's work hard it's a fantastic world it's a world belongs to

young people it's the world belongs to the future and thank you very very much

for listening
