"You know I'm a pant girl, so I'll go for the pajama, and I have to go for the V pattern, given my name!" says Virginia Smith.
Vogue's Market Director, Fashion and Accessories, when asked what she'd select from the just-launched Vogue and Splendid sleepwear collection. This capsule was developed in celebration of Vogue's 125th anniversary and grew out of a discussion between Smith and Sally Singer, Creative Digital Director.
"It really just started out as a conversation we were all having and Sally sort of pointing out where you are when you're reading Vogue," Smith explains.
"That led to this idea of being in bed with Vogue, which then led us to the pajama collaboration. Codesigned by Los Angeles–based Splendid and Vogue, the limited-edition capsule features long and short pajama sets, a chemise, and a comfy cardigan.

Mystery illness has kept Manchester United star Michael Carrick out for six weeks - Duration: 2:14.Mystery illness has kept Manchester United star Michael Carrick out for six weeks
Confusion reigns among Manchester United's medical staff who have been fruitlessly attempting to get to the bottom of the problem. The issue begun following Carrick's sole appearance of the season - against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup.
The 36-year-old reportedly felt light-headed and sick after the victory and the problem also resurfaced in training. The United skipper has not taken to the pitch played since the 4-1 win on September 20.
Carrick completed 90 minutes in the game which saw Marcus Rashford score twice. His absence has added to boss Jose Mourinho's problems in central midfield with Paul Pogba still out with a hamstring complaint, with an unknown return date.
Marouane Fellaini suffered a knee injury during the last international break, leaving just Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic as sole options in the engine room.
It is not known when Carrick will return to first-team action. Mourinho insisted the ex-Tottenham midfielder had a big role to play this season but has been frustrated that he has only featured for 90 minutes thus far.
England boss Gareth Southgate also rates Carrick highly but he wanted to look to the future and has since picked Spurs' Harry Winks, 21.
The Mirror are reporting that Leicester City, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are all monitoring Carrick's situation at Old Trafford.

5 Effective Home Remedies for Dandruff | Learn How to Get Rid of Dandruff Naturally - Duration: 4:17.5 Effective Home Remedies for Dandruff | Learn How to Get Rid of Dandruff Naturally
Dandruff is a common skin condition on the skin of your scalp which causes dead skin
flakes to start shedding off.
It can be caused by a wide range of factors like dry skin, irritated oily skin, fungal
infection, contact dermatitis and so on.
Different factors but same result, embarrassing, irritating condition that nobody wants to
have but it so often appears, Instead of buying expensive, chemically laden
anti-dandruff shampoos here are 5 easy, natural DIY remedies that will resolve your dandruff
problem in an instant.
1.
Vinegar If your dandruff is caused by a fungal infection,
known as malassezia, vinegar is your best solution.
Aside from eliminating the fungi, vinegar will help you eliminate the skin cells that
mature and shed faster than usually, leading to a dead skin cells build up and irritation,
finally causing what we know as dandruff.
Prepare a 1 to 1 ratio mixture with water and ACV or white vinegar and rinse your hair
with it.
Rub it well into your scalp and then wash it off with warm water.
Dont use anything else for washing your hair afterwards and for the next 8-10 hours.
Repeat the treatment as often as you want until the problem is completely resolved.
2.
Aspirin Aspirin is the common active ingredient in
many medical anti-dandruff shampoos, listed under the name salicylic acid.
Why buy expensive shampoos when you can use regular aspirin.
Crush a couple of aspirin pills (2-3) and mix the powder with the amount of shampoo
youll use to wash your hair once.
Massage the mixture into your scalp thoroughly and leave it in for a minute or two.
Rinse and wash your hair with shampoo as you normally do.
3.
Yoghurt and Pepper The fungi malassezia and its negative effects
on your scalp can be neutralized if you increase the amount of good bacteria on your scalp.
How to do this?
Well, the good bacteria were referring to can be found in your plain yogurt.
If you also add pepper to the mix youll double on the antifungal effect.
Mix a cup of yogurt with 2tbsp of ground black pepper and apply this mixture on your scalp,
tubbing it it gently.
Leave it in for an hour before rinsing your hair with shampoo.
4.
Coconut oil and Lemon Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer that
provides deep moisture to your scalp and regulates the production of oils, preventing irritation
to the scalp.
Lemon on the other hand abounds in citric acid which is also an excellent ingredient
for balancing your pH levels and reducing the excess oil production in the scalp.
If you combine the two youll eliminate dry-skin caused dandruff in no time.
First youll need to warm up the coconut oil to get it softened and then mix it with
some lemon juice.
Apply the mixture on your scalp, covering the whole surface and leave it in for an hour.
Rinse your hair with warm water and wrap it in a warm towel for 30 minutes to an hour.
Repeat the process for as long as you need.
5.
Baking Soda Baking soda has a triple effect on dandruff.
Its an excellent fungicide and will eliminate the malassezia fungi if thats whats
causing your dandruff.
Then it has a mild exfoliating effect on the scalp and will help you eliminate the dead
skin cells.
And lastly, it will help you get rid of the dandruff flakes that are trapped in your hair.
Just mix 1 tbsp. of baking soda with a cup of water and rinse your hair with the mixture
instead of shampoo.
You can also add one teaspoon of baking soda to the shampoo youd use to rinse your hair.
The effects are amazing.

But wait a minute.
That gives me an idea.
Hey.
